Brickbat: On Religious Grounds

Police officials in the Netherlands acknowledge they have accommodated officers in the National Police Force who have moral objections to guarding Jewish events or buildings, including the National Holocaust Museum. "There is no hard and fast policy," said Mireille Beentjes, a police spokeswoman. "The line is that police staff are allowed to have moral objections. We take moral objections into account when we make the rotas. But if there is an urgent job to do they go on duty whether they want to or not."

The US Secret Service looks to have had some agents that weren’t particularly enthused about guarding a potus candidate. Or maybe they just sucked due to being government employees under low performing Biden-Harris.
That's putting a very generous spin on it.
Accommodating them with pink slips? Do Dutch first responders not see themselves as heroes?
Perhaps they do when enforcing the govt mandated closing of farms.
Cops refusing to protect Jews? Sorry, that is just pure anti-semitism. When you put on the uniform, you put away your personal feelings.
Otherwise, resign. Your job is to protect the public; all of the public.
Jews are NOT a part of the pubic! When they cuntsented (even ass a newborn baby) to having their foreskins cut off, they are no longer truly-FULLY pubic! If ye BLEEVE in the PURSHITTY of yer Essence, then ye shall SNOT be circumscribed or circumcised in ANY manner!!! Rob Misek told me so!!!
Isn’t there some kind of oath or pledge to serve the public anymore?
In the US, there would be. In the Netherlands? I can’t find reference to one on any english-language webpage, so maybe not.
Police outside of the US are not there to protect and serve the public (and in the US they only pretend to be).
They are explicitly there to maintain control.
Probably best not to have Khalid Mohammed guarding the Jewish sites. But damnit do your job.

W.T.F? I could understand having a moral objection to guarding the Israeli consulate or being a part of the security detail for an event hosting an Israeli government official and agree that those things should be providing their own security details, but this is plain racial animism.
And the whole idea is rather critical to this whole EU thing. If you can’t protect The Holocaust Museum in The Netherlands fairly and impartially, then why would anyone in Germany, France, Poland, Hungary, or Turkey assume you have even the slightest of concern for them? You won’t protect a monument commemorating European Jews because modern Palestinians violently antagonize Israel? Half of Europe would be perfectly right to tell you to go fuck yourself.
What's the moral objection?
