Brickbat: Pop the Top

Following public ridicule and the defection of co-sponsors, a Tennessee legislator has withdrawn a bill that would have banned convenience stores and supermarkets from selling refrigerated beer. State Rep. Ron Gant (R–Rossville) said he did not want "to infringe on law-abiding citizens or be unfair to businesses." Gant originally proposed the measure as a way to reduce drunk driving.

State Rep. Ron Gant (R–Rossville) is a full-on RINO. If he changed his party to [D] he'd fit right in with having more big gov-gun stupid plans that the parties useful idiots would all fall in-line over because then it'd be (D)ifferent.
Oh stop with your bullshit argument, "here's a Republican doing something governmentally stupid so he must be a RINO". He's trying to be a Trump delegate, And judging by his other positions He's one of yours.

He’s also a Baptist. Drinking leads to dancing which is the highway to hell.
Following public ridicule … of Tennessee Republicans, having a 30-point [R] lean, shutting down this RINO … Ya; RINO fits this perfectly. Perhaps just a RINO move but apparently the Republican majority there didn’t take. Unlike how Democrats loyal voting does. As was exactly the point made.
Course if you just want to get to the meat of my statement if Democrats knew how to call out their own bullsh*t there would be a coined DINO instead of just a RINO.
*laughs in sarcasmic*

He simply fell ass backwards into trying to do so.
Drunk on power, he simply
fell ass backwardsslammed head on into trying to do so.Too soon?
In other news, anti drunk-driving crusader Gang abandoned his push to ban car tires and bar stools.
Now if only my state would repeal its existing ban on supermarket's selling cold beer.
One state legislator in Tennessee withdrew a bill that had no support. This would not seem to rise to the level of a brickbat since it's a nothing action that has no effect. Except for your comment....
How to tell if your state has fucked-up liquor laws:
1. Can you buy wine and spirits at a food store?
2. Can you buy beer at a food store?
3. Can a specialist business sell beer, wine, and spirits?
4. Can you buy beer, wine, and spirits on a Sunday?
If the answer is "no" to any of the above, your laws are fucked-up, and the more noes, the more fucked-up.
