Both Biden and Trump Are Bad Candidates
The next presidential election may be between the two men. Can't we do better?

The betting odds say the next election will likely be a rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
It's odd, since polls show most Americans don't like either man.
There are good reasons for that. My new video covers some of the worst.
Trump is simply mean. He humiliates people, taking pleasure in mocking them publicly.
In his real estate work, he's famous for not paying little people who work for him. He stiffed a cabinet-builder, a dishwasher, and a plumber. No one is too small to get bad treatment from Trump.
It's sad that today, America is so divided. Trump makes that worse.
Of course, Biden is divisive, too. Running for office, he promised, "I will draw on the best of us, not the worst."
But now that he's president, he does the opposite. He calls his opponents "full of anger, violence, hate, and division." This is drawing on "the best of us"?
Then there are the lies.
Trump lies even about unimportant things, like the crowd at his inauguration, ratings for his TV show, even claiming he won a nonexistent "Man of the Year" award.
And of course, he lies about the big things, like winning the last election "by a landslide."
But Biden lies, too. When Georgia required voters to show identification, Biden called that "Jim Crow on steroids." He said that again and again.
But that's a lie. Jim Crow stopped black people from voting. After Georgia's law passed, a poll found "zero percent of black voters said they had a poor voting experience."
Biden has long lied to advance himself. He claimed he was "the first in his family ever to go to a university." But he wasn't. He plagiarized that line from a British politician.
He lied about his law school performance, saying he graduated in "the top half of [his] class." He actually ranked 76th out of 85.
He repeatedly says he was arrested at a civil rights protest, but that's not true.
This year, one cruel lie caught up with him. For years, Biden insisted he had six grandchildren, refusing to acknowledge the seventh, his son Hunter's daughter, born out of wedlock. Only when even liberal media criticized him did he finally acknowledge the little girl.
Then there's the corruption.
I hate political prosecutions, but so much of what Trump does is just sleazy. He paid a porn star hush money and lied about it. He refused to return classified documents and lied about that. He pressured Vice President Mike Pence not to certify electors, then whipped his supporters into a frenzy about it.
But Biden is corrupt, too. Asked about his son's work in China, Biden firmly responded, "My son has not made money in…China."
But his son admits making money from China!
Biden claimed he "never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their business, period."
But his son's business partner says Hunter put his father on speakerphone when Hunter met with potential business associates.
Maybe Biden's lies aren't lies. Maybe he's just old and confused. But that's disturbing, too.
Recently he announced that the United States "plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean." Across the ocean?
On 60 Minutes, he committed America to a possible war. Asked if "U.S. forces…would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion," he responded "yes."
The president's national security adviser quickly took that back. But it was the fourth time Biden committed the U.S. to a war to defend Taiwan, and the fourth time his staff took it back.
Biden is 80. I'm old, too, but I just make videos. I'm not trying the be president.
Trump is old, too. He's 77 but calls himself "a young vibrant man." A few years ago, he got a doctor to approve a letter saying Trump would be "the healthiest individual ever elected!" That doctor later admitted that Trump wrote the letter himself.
These are our choices! Two old, corrupt liars? Can't we do better?

Finally, a "both sides" we can get on board with.
But even if one or the other were a good candidate, they are both too old to entrust that much power to.
I'm making $90 an hour working from home. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning 16,000 US dollars a month by working on the connection, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed for me to attempt it simply. Everybody must try this job now by just using this website... http://www.Payathome7.com
They’re what we get when the puppeteers remain hidden.
One is a corrupt career politician liar who knows his role and plays it.
The other a megalomaniac businessman who says what he wants to , off script.
Which provides a better opportunity to expose the shadow government and systemic corruption, necessary for the people to recognize it and demand change?
This choice is merely a function of our current reality.
Stossel doesn't get into it, but it's not just Donald Trump and Joe Biden. It's their running mates, too.
The best Biden could come up with is ... Kamala Harris?
Trump doesn't even have a running mate yet, but rumors are he is going to go with ... Kari Lake or Donald, Jr.
Why do Americans put up with such shitty choices?
They’re what “floats to the top” in the society we have created.
If you want better, you’ll have to do more than whine.
Criminalizing lying will result in better candidates.
Because libertarian media recycle pundits long past their shelf dates , like , er, John Stossel.
What's wrong with Stossel? He doesn't lie. He doesn't exaggerate. He just says what he thinks.
Public ignoramus really doesn't appreciate anyone questioning lefty shit.
One is a corrupt, narcissistic feeblemind. The other is corrupt and narcissistic, living in the prison of his own mind where it's always 2020.
Maybe this is the predictable outcome of choosing lesser evils. If these are the choices, I'm sitting this one out.
Of course, since I live in NJ, I'll probably end up voting for Biden multiple times, whether I vote or not.
Hell, I probably voted for Biden dozens of times and I'm not even American.
"Maybe this is the predictable outcome of choosing lesser evils. If these are the choices, I’m sitting this one out."
that has become part of the equation for them. if they are both putting up terrible candidates, the sane people start to opt out..... and they just have to whip the nutty bases up enough to show up for the election. they don't even try to appeal to normal people, because a lot of normal people just opt out..... the ones that don't hold their nose and vote the way they lean anyway. they have no incentive to act sane.
what we need is a strong third option. even if they can't win, they can force some attention on what sane people actually want. like the last time we had a balanced budget was after Perot shook things up. (which is why the established parties made sure to make access to the debate stage harder to obtain.)
what we need is a strong third option.
Definitely not jeffy! /sarc
I like how this personae has suddenly adopted a quirk where he uses no capitalization. It is such a clever disguise. He should do one as Hihn's ghost where he always adds "left - right = zero".
look at this stupid motherfucker, right here. knows the sock puppet BS came from a troll.... knows that claim is based on fraud.... tried to defend that fraud, so is well aware that it is a lie..... and STILL can't come up with anything more original that claiming i am someone else. (because there is no way that two people could independently feel that we need a better third option.)
"Fraud, fraud, fraud!" Scream it all you want, it won't make it real. Just like your imaginary "better third option".
I voted for Ross Perot. Twice. There are only 2 currently viable parties in the US. If the Democrats were not 21st century Jacobins sliding ever closer to their own Great Terror and the silencing their opposition, we could potentially have decent candidates in the middle. As it is, we are left with Big Ego and The Grift being the only reasons anyone would stick their neck out at this point.
Meanwhile, the Libertarian party is compromised by hedonist-socialists who feel they should be able to expose themselves in public and go off on rants that resistance to draconian yet ineffectual public health measures is like carting a bear around in the trunk of your car and unleashing it on the unwary.
"“Fraud, fraud, fraud!” Scream it all you want, it won’t make it real."
no, reality makes it real. it was an act intended to deceive.
"I voted for Ross Perot. Twice."
so..... you start out by pretending only some guy named jeff thinks we should have a third option, and then proudly claim you voted for Perot..... how fucking insane are you?
"......resistance to draconian yet ineffectual public health measures is like carting a bear around in the trunk of your car and unleashing it on the unwary."
so, what you are saying is that you have absolutely no idea who is running the libertarian party for the last couple years.
"if they are both putting up terrible candidates, the sane people start to opt out…"
Never thought of it that way, but you may be right.
I agree, I live in CO which means my electoral votes are going to the dems pretty much no matter what so I typically vote 3rd party but that's only because we have mail-in voting - if I had to go drive somewhere and wait in line to vote I'd probably opt out too since there's very little point.
But part of the reason we get bad candidate is they tell people what they want to hear. When we get candidates that want to address real issues they get sweep aside pretty quickly. Consider the national debt if you are Republican the only acceptable answer is to cut spending, if you are a Democrat the only acceptable answer is raise taxes on the rich. If you try to take sense, cutting spend and raising taxes your dead on the road. And it is like this for a mountain of issues.
"Trump is simply mean. He humiliates people, taking pleasure in mocking them publicly."
I dislike this in almost everyone except Trump, because he humiliates people who deserve to be humiliated, and I take pleasure in seeing them mocked publicly.
I hated it when he was a reality TV actor, the stupid "You're fired" bit and the blowhard speeches, but when he's mocking Jeb!, Mr. Christie's, Pierre Delecto and McConnell it gives me my jollies.
Yeah, that critique kind of misses part of Trump's charm. The people he went after were very often the legacy media and the folks on the other side of the aisle who can count on them to cover their own shit.
People genuinely despise the media. Especially Republicans, who have been called horrific things by these outlets. Basically, they couldn't possibly vote for anyone other than Hillary for any reason except racism, as one common example.
Trump baited those fuckers like an internet troll pissing off soccer moms who just discovered Reddit. And they kept taking the bait, and kept exposing themselves for the jackals they are. Pure schadenfreude from the people who felt discounted and abused by the media ensued.
Oh, also, only one of these two candidates appointed judges to the court that actually give a shit about the constitution. The other was only after a diversity hire.
Not that my vote in a Federal election counts for anything in this gerrymandered shit hole.
So, Trump is “charming” to a demographic who want our Federal government to be about expressing their resentment rather than good governance.
The best governance is no governance.
Don’t agree. A minimalist government that provides a basic framework for freedom (enforcement of contracts, for example) is better than anarchy.
Mike Larson, I agree with your minimalist government comment... in Fact, this is probably the only concept that we can apply that will keep the US from going bankrupt. It's critical, in my opinion, that we cut back drastically, or simply fail catastrophically.
The two choices that we have in this election are both old, grumpy, mean, sexual predators. One may have dementia, one may have some sort of psychological damage.
One is for larger government and one is for smaller government.
I'm going for the smaller government guy.
The best government is one that does not give the nation's idiots their jollies and has the grace to get out of DC when diselected.
If you intended to make a point, it got lost between what passes for your brain and the keyboard.
How about when he mocked the parent's who's son was killed in Iraq? Or the reporter in a wheelchair? Did they deserve it?
You are stating a leftist opinion. The word "mockery" was only used by leftist pundits and politicians.
1) Parents politicizing their dead son at the DNC.
Trump asked if their speech was written by Hillary and made a muslim crack about the mother's silence. Rude, sure. But not mocking a dead vet's parents.
2) Trumps comments about the reporter in the wheelchair.
"I merely mimicked what I thought would be a flustered reporter trying to get out of a statement he made long ago. If Mr. Kovaleski is handicapped, I would not know because I do not know what he looks like. If I did know, I would definitely not say anything about his appearance."
You're kind of lying about what happened in both those instances.
yeah neither of those things actually happened like the leftist media claimed...best to do your own independent research rather than take whatever CNN says
Brain, how about you find out what really happened instead of repeating lies?
Trumps behaviors have zero effect on my life. 8 continue to evaluate politicians on policy. As that effects my life. I hate the constant comparison of tone vs substance.
JESSEAZ,
I'm with you on the policy vs tone comment. Unfortunately, some non trivial number of voters pick the guy that they think has the best bedside manner.
In order to vote there should be a requirement that you simply state the policies that you most desire... Lower taxes or higher taxes. More spending or less spending. etc... pick about 5 then let the machine select the best candidate for you.
Character matters. The difference in substance between Trump and Biden is almost trivial. Biden is a senile political hack but Trump is a nasty, brutish PoS.
Biden spent decades smearing the other driver in the accident that killed his first wife as a drunk, because 'my wife and daughter were killed by a drunk driver' was a more politically advantageous story than 'my wife ran a stop sign because she was yelling at my future crackhead son in the back seat and got creamed by a truck'
Biden comes second to none in being a nasty POS.
From a TDS-addled piece of shit.
"I dislike this in almost everyone except Trump, because he humiliates people who deserve to be humiliated, and I take pleasure in seeing them mocked publicly."
this is the core of the problem with the MAGA crowd. they KNOW it is wrong. they KNOW it violates what they think is right...... but, because the targets are people they don't like, they get their jollies off it. they celebrate what they know to be wrong just because it satisfies their petty tribalism fueled hatred.
they celebrate what they know to be wrong just because it satisfies their petty tribalism fueled hatred.
The hatred is perfectly justified, shitweasel. What is tribal is the support of evil socialist policies because they benefit you. Trump mocked Jeb!, Lindsay Graham, and Ted Cruz. Was it tribal for people to enjoy that?
"The hatred is perfectly justified, shitweasel."
thanks for admitting i am right..... that you are supporting shit you know to be wrong because of your petty hatred.
no principles. no integrity. just hatred.
The hatred is perfectly justified, shitweasel. Fuck off and die.
And we know how politics based on resentment can play out.
which unfortunately both parties seem to be doing way too much of lately…the left certainly enjoys seeing their opponents suffer needlessly as well, hell the whole Trump indictments debacle would drive the left insane and would be 24/7 news on the mainstream outlets if it were Hillary being indicted (like she should’ve been) – as it is even though it’s obvious he’s being prosecuted in an effort to interfere with the ’24 election most dems have no issue with it since they hate Trump and would be fine with anything – legal or not – that harms his chances of being elected
both parties do do it. and the trump indictments are part of that, especially the ones in NY and the classified materials one. (there is more grey area on the election related ones, IMHO. those charges don't fit the same pattern of fabrication and/or shit that they normally let slide. he really did some shit that nobody else has ever tried to that scale, and that is not historically ignored.... though intent is gonna be hard to prove.)
though, i think that was a vast miscalculation for them. the moment the obviously fabricated/exaggerated/politically motivated charges dropped in NY, no other charges against him have any political downside. even legitimate charges can be framed against that backdrop, and all the charges get lumped together under that obvious pile of shit.
but the main problem is that both sides are trying to out do each other on how wrong they can be. whether you love him or hate him, Trump is at the center of that trend. he is the source of the wrong on one side, and the target of the wrong from the other side.
Like the man said, it's always a choice between a douche and a turd. Joe Biden's been in Washington over 50 years, his entire adult life, and what problems has he fixed? Almost everybody else in Washington is a career politician or bureaucrat of one sort or another, and what problems have they ever solved? Trump may not be much better than the rest of them, but at least with him there's a glimmer of hope that at least he's not so ate up with it that he believes the government is there to solve all your problems.
But I will say this: There's no chance in hell the election is going to come down to Trump versus Biden. The Democrats are definitely not letting Biden run and if you think Joe is the one making the decision whether or not to run, you're retarded.
Who is the most realistic alternative to POTUS Biden?
Newsom or Michelle? I feel they'll disregard policy and past policy failures or inexperience and go with who they think has charisma for tv.
Have you seen Newsom’s hair!
"Trump may not be much better than the rest of them, but at least with him there’s a glimmer of hope that at least he’s not so ate up with it that he believes the government is there to solve all your problems. "
the problem is that it has been made clear that what he thinks the government is there to do is to stroke his ego and feed his narcissism. the only reason he doesn't see government as a means to fix all your problems is that he doesn't give a fuck about you to begin with.....
Both are bad candidates, but Biden is still the worst of the two.
Name the last good candidate of the two major parties?
Maybe Eisenhower? Ross Perot? Lincoln? Washington?
William Henry Harrison was the only perfect President we've ever had.
That's cold. [cough]
At the time, he was the oldest president we had ever had, and he was still a couple decades younger than Biden.
I'm still a fan of Reagan. Not perfect, no, but good.
Ronbo ftw
while I was barely out of the womb when Reagan was elected I've studied up on his policies and he seemed to be pretty much a centrist at least compared to most candidates nowadays and IMO someone like him would do our increasingly divided and polarized country a lot of good. That said I doubt a centrist candidate could get elected now for the reasons stated above...seems it's the fringes of both left and right that get the most media attention and thus votes these days unfortunately
to think of a good candidate you have to go back far enough that everyone has forgotten what made them a bad candidate.
Calvin Coolidge.
Amen
You have to go that far back to find a POTUS who did better than Trump.
“I’m not trying the be president”, write Stossel. Well, I’m not trying the be president, either, so Stossel and I are equals! Where’s my Big Bucks?
We've had no “B” presidents lately; all we’ve had are “F” presidents, frankly, IMHO…
The good news is Biden hasn't committed the many felonies Trump has (can't "both-sider" that!). Hopefully, the fat orange turd will be in federal prison by election day and all of this is a moot point.
Agreed! I hope that while He is in the hoose-gow, He will NOT be allowed access to His smelly smell phone, which He would use to boss around His Private Armies of Proud Boys, Lying Lawyers, and Trumpanzees gone apeshit!
The good news is Biden hasn’t committed the many felonies Trump has
Right. Biden has committed different felonies.
Committed or been caught or establishment doesn't care?
I don't think you've followed the news. If you have, then you have only read headlines from democrat media
"The good news is Biden hasn’t committed the many felonies Trump has..." - don't pay much attention I take it? The felonies the Biden family have and continue to commit are far worse for the country than anything Trump may have done
You either live in a cave somewhere or only watch CNN and MSNBC, Trump is charged with faux crimes but Biden's crimes are being exposed as real. As far as felonies neither has been found guilty yet, but according to Nancy Pelosi Biden will have to prove his innocence just like Trump, but unlike our Constitution and Bill of Rights, which only shows how ignorant liberal Democrats are of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
"The good news is Biden hasn’t committed the many felonies Trump has..."
You.
Are.
Full.
Of.
Shit.
It is truly unfortunate that Congress has lacked the responsibility and leadership to pass a constitutional amendment making persons over the age of 75 ineligible to be elected President.
Not that mysterious if you look at the ages of Congressional leaders.
Also, if they actually originated an amendment the public would be glad to ratify, they might get some serious questioning about why they're not originating a lot of OTHER amendments the public would be glad to ratify.
I think they prefer to act as though Article V didn't exist, and hope that people would mostly forget about it.
Good Point.
No, next question.
Both parties suck. Both presumptive candidates suck. But both candidates are products of Democratic agenda. Trump only exists because the modern DNC evolved to embrace the liberal rich and their allies in academia and media, who then indulged their urges to shit on the working class, especially those crude, under-educated white bigots. Biden exists because he embodies the DNC establishment.
Congrats, Democrats.
Will this be the third South Park election in a row? Giant Douche versus Turd Sandwich? Can't even tell them apart, at this point.
"These are our choices! Two old, corrupt liars? Can't we do better?"
probably not, unfortunately. at least not as long as we are stuck in the two party stranglehold. most sane people don't want the job, and the few that do can't satisfy the insane bases that run the parties to get nominated.
How come Reason isn't showing this breaking news ?
Prosecutors: Trump Mar-a-Lago security aide flipped after changing lawyers
https://www.politico.com/news/2023/08/22/trump-witness-reversal-testimony-jack-smith-00112355
That's interesting. So, as soon as he had a government lawyer, he switched to saying what the government wanted him to say?
Surprising, isn't it?
I could see this being him being dissatisfied with a Trump provided lawyer, who was crafting his testimony to Trump's interests, not his. Yeah, that is plausible.
But I could also see it being a product of an informal sort of plea bargain, where the government offered to go easy on him if he became a witness for them, and switched to using a government lawyer who'd assist him to that end.
Really, I doubt we'll ever figure out which it was.
no ... but you know.
Because Reason isn’t a newspaper and they figure they are not your only news source.
>>Trump is simply mean. He humiliates people, taking pleasure in mocking them publicly.
waaaah. sorry but "them" deserves all of it and T is the perfect delivery system. fuck your '90s get alongishment. fuck the establishment (D) and (R). drain the swamp.
>>Can't we do better?
like who?
waaaah. sorry but “them” deserves all of it and T is the perfect delivery system. fuck your ’90s get alongishment. fuck the establishment (D) and (R). drain the swamp.
I guess. It’s looking like Trump will lose if he gets the Republican nomination, and none of what you want will come to pass. That kinda makes him not a “perfect delivery system” unless your only real political goal is to express your grievances but accomplish no real change.
>>It’s looking like Trump will lose if he gets the Republican nomination
nope.
I mean whatever would make you believe such nonsense?
I guess you missed all the stories about how Joe is and angry mean man when not in front of the cameras. So at least Trump is real, while Joe is a liar, a pedophile showering with his own young daughter and sniffing little girls hair. Oh and kindly Joe got a Ukraine prosecutor fired for looking into Biden family corruption and bragged about it, Mr. Nice Guy right? You just saw what a narcissist Joe was in Hawaii where he thinks walking on hot beach sand is the equivalent of having your relatives burnt to death and losing everything you own. The Hawaii fire was all about Joe to Joe.
Yeah you will over look all that but not Trump’s mean tweets. What a putz!
It doesn't sound like Dillinger overlooks Trump's mean tweets, so I don't know why you accuse him of that. Seems like Dillinger likes Trump's mean tweets.
Trump has a very serious predilection towards “braggadocio”, which is to say boastful lies. Biden engages in his own version of this, ingratiating lies that try to make him part of every story; For instance, if he’s speaking before blacks, he’ll claim to have attended an historically black college.
You can probably exaggerate the degree to which Trump actually lies; The WaPo ran a supposed database of Trump’s lies, which on examination you find includes a rather large degree of double counting, opinions labeled lies, and ‘implication checking’, where a genuinely truthful statement is declared a ‘lie” because the reviewer doesn’t like what it implies.
But he’s certainly not obsessively honest, that’s for sure. Neither is Biden.
But if you get down to it, Biden probably tells more policy lies, lies intended to mislead folks about what he’s going to do. Trump is pretty up front about what he intends to do.
“Trump is pretty up front about what he intends to do.”
Sort of. Trump has a history of being inconsistent and contradicting himself.
and most of Trump's lies are pretty inconsequential for the country...yeah he's definitely an asshole and likes to brag and tell tall tales for no apparent reason besides narcissism but Biden lies about things far more serious with much greater implications for the country
The next presidential election may be between the two men. Can’t we do better?
No we can’t. 99% of American voters are completely copacetic with it if one of those sniffs the hair while the other grabs the pussy of their daughter/wife/mother/etc. Safe bet the ‘Libertarian’ will be worse so that takes care of the remaining 1%.
The only hope used to be those who were registered but didn’t vote. But that number is dropping as voter turnout increases.
So we are left with citizens who don’t even register to vote. Which is only slightly better than blacks in the Jim Crow south – or maybe worse depending on whether don’t is worse/better than can’t.
Fortunately this is all a lesser evil or the best of all possible worlds or something. So we are saving something so we believe. It could be worse?
Probably; Rand Paul or Thomas Massie but why waste a good politician just because you don’t like Trump’s demeanor? Or more to the point can Rand Paul or Thomas Massie actually win? One of the very reasons for Trumps popularity is he doesn't entertain (be nice) to the Nazi's here. Which is exactly why the USA is going down the toilet.
Moore versus United States? I vote – mostly- based on judges and SCOTUS picks. Moore is interesting based on Trumps SCOTUS majority. Will SCOTUS find the unrealized gains tax on the Trump tax law unconstitutional? Or – if Clinton had won and the three judges were leftists, would the U.S. already have a wealth tax and the final chapter of Nouveau Bolshevikism. Moore – the biggest deal of this constitutional republic in a century. Let me add, that almost no one is talking about
The country is stuck in a real dilemma, and we do need better choices. The key is Trump. Biden has a record of beating Trump, there is no age factor between the two, and Biden knows how to sell his accomplishments. Those voters that Biden cannot get directly will vote against Trump. If Trump drops out or is beaten to the nomination Biden is vulnerable and Democrats would then consider an alternative. Now Trump is running primarily to avoid conviction so seeing him leave the field is unlikely. So, our dilemma is Biden will not leave first and Trump doesn't care if he takes down the Republican party or the country he is still running.
LOL... Yeah dumb*ss... Biden will save the USA by turning it into a [Na]tional So[zi]alist nightmare and run it into debt while growing inflation and crashing the economy.... Seriously; How did you people get so stupid? Or more to the point what the F are you doing in the USA? Go join your Nazi retards where National Socialism exists.
What I am saying is that Biden beats Trump. If Republicans want a win they need a winning candidate. And Democrats will be more open to change out Biden if the Republican nominee is someone different than Trump. That is all, nothing about what each candidate wants to do.
Only by mystery mail-in ballots. Trump had a strong lead over Biden on real people votes.
And I guess we'll just stamp a big fat never-mind to all that other "Trump doesn’t care if he takes down the Republican party or the country" and "Trump is running primarily to avoid conviction" and "Biden knows how to sell his ?accomplishments?".
Are there any countries with popular elections where this is not the case?
Once upon a time there was; when most of them honored there oath of office. But Wilson and FDR changed that track.
"Can't we do better?" Only if we start drafting people to run for office that are not in politics and do not want to be in politics. Anyone who wants to be President is mentally defective in some way.
"In his real estate work, he's famous for not paying little people who work for him. He stiffed a cabinet-builder, a dishwasher, and a plumber. No one is too small to get bad treatment from Trump."
I keep hearing this talking point, but never see any details. If Trump made a regular habit out of stiffing contractors, eventually nobody would agree to work for him. I don't remember ever hearing anything about anything like that happening, and Trump was a national figure for decades before running for office.
Which kind of leads me to believe there was some other dispute involved with this 'cabinet builder, dishwasher and plumber'.
Similarly, people always talk about how many times Trump has been sued compared to, say, Biden. But Trump's career was in business, while Biden's was in politics, and it's pretty much impossible to sue a politician.
Between the guy who was the best POTUS we had for the last century and a drooling, senile, influence peddler.
Gimme a minute to think about it.
