Brickbat: Park It

Since March, Christopher Volpe has filed more than 200 complaints about New York City Police Department vehicles illegally parked outside the precinct house in his neighborhood. That includes vehicles double-parked, parked on the sidewalk, and parked in bicycle lanes. Volpe said that he began to complain after his dog was struck by a vehicle while they were crossing the street, a vehicle he says he didn't see coming because of a row of double-parked vehicles. A reporter from a local newspaper visited the precinct house and confirmed there were numerous illegally parked police vehicles. A study by a doctoral student found that 70 of the city's 77 precinct houses regularly have vehicles illegally parked outside. Police officials say they have long been working to correct the problem.

Do something about the UPS and FedEx trucks stopping in the middle of the street to make drop-offs and pick-ups while you're at it.
UPS trucks don't park long at all. The delivery guys are running.
Are you gonna film yourself crying about the UPS truck parked in the bike line instead of riding around it?

Are they going to write parking tickets on their own cars?
Of course not. Law enforcement professionals can't be expected to obey the law.

Until they find Volpe and run him over, they will keep trying.

Story credibility rating: Trump in a department store.
Not to excuse the shitty parking by police officers, the law is the law, but it sounds like someone accidentally walked his dog into traffic and is looking for a way to assuage his guilt.
I get paid more than $140 to $170 per hour for working online. I heard about this job 3 months ago and after joining this I have earned easily $10k from this without having online working skills . Simply give it a shot on the accompanying site…

Different jobs come with different perks. Pilots get to take their families on cheap vacations, restaurant workers generally get free meals, and people who have the power to take the lives of people who disobey the law get to ignore the laws they enforce.
*Cop looks up from newspaper*
We'll get right on that.
From a time when there were newspapers.

Just plant drugs on the doctoral student.
Even little things like this are proof that good cops don't exist. Good cops would set an example and expect the rest of the force to do the same. The fact that literally zero police officers do this is proof that there are no good ones.
It's not unusual to go to Walmart and find an unoccupied cop car purring in the fire lane while the driver gets lunch, and it's also not unusual to watch that very same officer light up their blues behind an occupied car in that same fire lane waiting for an old person to hobble out.
Outsource parking enforcement to the state.
That should be a rule in many cities. I lived in a city where residents expected college kids and nonresidents to get parking tickets while they didn't get tickets for the same conduct.
Chester, PA by any chance?

In many places the PD or the union gives out small stickers for themselves and their families to put on their cars to show they are immune from parking tickets.

My personal favorite - When they are caught at a red light, turn on the lights/siren, drive through the intersection, and then turn off the siren/lights, and continue driving normally.
One of the best ones I saw was a Livingston County sheriff's deputy using his lights and siren on the left shoulder of I-55 in Chicago (Cook County, a full four counties away) to pass stopped traffic. I called the state police on him. The officer answering first tried to defend him, "maybe he's on a call or something", so I asked back, "a Livingston County deputy in Cook County?" He went "oh, we might have talk to him about that."
