Brickbat: Taking the Piss Out of Them

After protests from students, the Milford, New Hampshire, school board has backed off a plan to ban students from using urinals in school restrooms. The ban was part of a compromise to allow trans students to use the restrooms of the gender they identify with and not their biological sex. Other parts of the compromise, such as limiting the occupancy of restrooms, will remain in place.

I guess they changed their mind after details leaked out.
Something something straight flush.

Great article, Mike. I appreciate your work, I’m now creating over $35,910 dollars each month simply by doing a simple job online! I do know You currently making a lot of greenbacks online from $28,910 dollars, its simple online operating jobs.

The cause of such craziness is that there are too many civil servants who actually have little to do.
I mean, hey, nobody likes the shared changing areas, but how does that last one work? Do they have enough individual changing areas for people to actually get changed, or are they just not changing anymore?
Also, if the occupancy is capped at the number of stalls, how are they handling it when students raise their hand for the bathroom 2 minutes after class starts and say they couldn't use the urinal because the stalls were full, or vice versa?

Uh, hall passes. Except today they're frequently digital.
What did they do in whatever anachronistic caveman society you grew up in, urinate on the person standing at the stall in front of you in order to get to class before the bell rings?
Distinction between "urinal" which is just a pisser, and a "stall" which has a door and a full seated toilet. The regulation seems to indicate that the total occupancy of the entire bathroom will be capped at the number of stalls, not stalls plus urinals.
I guess I left out a crucial detail about the "frequently digital": We (some of us, more or less willingly) just went through "two weeks" of everybody being forcibly kept 6 ft. apart everywhere at all times.
I don't think confining restroom traffic to the number of stalls is going to be too much of a problem (especially for girls/women) given humanity's long history of consistently solving the "What if the load (temporarily) exceeds the capacity?" problem.
None of which is to say the rule should stand. Just that the specific issue seems irrelevant.
Home earnings allow all people to paint on-line and acquire weekly bills to financial institutions. Earn over $500 each day and get payouts each week instantly to account for financial institutions. (bwj-03) My remaining month of earnings was $30,390 and all I do is paint for as much as four hours an afternoon on my computer. Easy paintings and constant earnings are exquisite with this job.

How is that a compromise?
I have changed our deal, pray that I do not change it further.
Except Vader didn't want to be accepted as identifying as the rebellion while making the rebellion more Empire-like.
For accuracy, It should be read in a Roger Rabbit voice.
Reads like surrender to the tyranny of the minority.
Time to go back to locking up the crazies.
To me [and likely you] compromise means an exchange, one party gives up or in on something in exchange for some type of consideration.
Today, compromise just sounds better than concession.

I mean how is that even on the table? How does usage of urinals negatively impact the availability of stalls? Did anyone outside of the school's administration even bring it up?
On the table? Ewww.
Wait, no one could use the urinals? What? They all had to just use the trough?
Just peed in the sink like a normal person.
Or on the seats of the regular toilets.
Here was this great opportunity for New Hampshire trans folks to assert their dominance and rule the schools, but they had to go piss it away.
The English teachers realized the plan was doomed from the very start because “urinate” is an intransitive verb.
You're an eight.
How was that compromise supposed to help? How was it even a compromise? It's like someone proposed to add an explicitly kosher choice to the lunch menu, and the compromise was to instead eliminate all vegetables.
Read the article, it's nearly impossible to tell who was being placated, who was protesting, and what the compromise was supposed to achieve. It might be the worst piece of journalism I've read this year.
I did read the linked article, otherwise I wouldn't've asked. I expect HyR summaries to perplex, but the fault was in the original. Or maybe it was in the actual facts on the ground.
The fact that it's possibly the dumbest story that news crew has had to cover (which is an accomplishment considering the "beat" of local TV news in less populous areas), might have made doing what passes for good journalism on their watch that much more difficult.
It's almost surprising the school board or city council didn't try to also prohibit standing up while in the stalls. Why not mandate that the schools install a bank of urinals (or maybe a "trough" surplussed from a demolished sports venue somewhere in the region) in the "girls" bathrooms as well.
Brought to you by the people teaching your children biology and language.

Obviously not sexualizing these kids hard enough. Where are the adults in the (children's rest)room?
Why can't modern mentally ill students act like their mentally ill parents who suffered extreme phobia for using any public restroom?
"Milford is a town in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States, on the Souhegan River. The population was 16,131 at the 2020 census, up from 15,115 at the 2010 census. It is the retail and manufacturing center of a multi-town area known informally as the Souhegan Valley."
Ok, so I asked myself, if 1.6% [Gallup Poll estimate] of the general population is gender dysphoric, maybe there are at most 250 people out of that entire population who would identify as trans. If 15% of that population [national average] are school age, that would yield 37-38 students from kindergarten through high school.
And then I realized it is an hour from Boston.
So the social contagion has pushed that 1.6% up to more like 50%. All those kids want to be different just like everyone else.
Right; everyone is a dick chopper or an ovary eater. There is a cost to being a cool kid.
A truly Libertarian moment in NH!
The whole wasted-time initiative; only made possible with the ?blessings? of Commie-Education.
The ban on urinals was actually a violation of the plumbing code, the building code, and Title 9.
If they had continued, they would have been sued into oblivion.
>>part of a compromise
you little monsters can pee wherever you want and in exchange ... ?
In exchange... swirlies?
FWIW in the famous and sad case of David Reimer, as he got to puberty he felt the urge to urinate standing up, rather than sitting down as "she" had been trained to.
Remember what I said in 2015 when the whole trans panic began on that one Wednesday, when the national bathroom policy had to be changed before Friday, otherwise we'd literally be killing trans people?
"I don't give a shit if some woman wants to stand next to me at the urinal. Come on in, babydoll, the water is fine."
But man, I read the linked article and it is a miasma of double, triple and quadruple negatives? The compromise measure was to reverse allowing a ban on the ban which banned the ban of the banned unbanned thing previously unbanned right before the ban:
So they reversed a policy which banned the use of urinals, which was the compromise proposal that banned students from using whatever bathroom they wanted?
So they were banning boys from the girl's bathroom, and as a compromise proposal, they said, ok, boys aren't banned from using the girls bathroom, but the use of urinals is banned...
Jesus fucking christ.
Totally makes sense...to a demented schizophrenic.
At what point can't we just say that normal (or cis or whatever) people's rights are the one's actually under attack? The world has been turned on its head in the name of wokeism.
Possible compromise (if they insist on all-unisex bathrooms): Mark former boys' rooms as "former boys' room". That would alert girls who would be grossed out by the sight of boys using urinals to go elsewhere. Also screens could project 3 feet out from the wall to block a side view of the outer urinals.
Since we're talking about the actual and direct use of genitals via urination, why not just have a Penis bathroom and a Vagina bathroom? Who cares what your gender is?
Because there is a confirmed (and extremely noisy) class of people with penises who want to use the vagina bathroom. So it solves nothing.
I think the Rolling Stones sang about that a long time ago.
Because there is a confirmed (and extremely noisy) class of people with penises who want to use the vagina bathroom. So it solves nothing.
I think you're first sentence is being generously covering the perversity of your second. There is a class of people who need for there to be problems for you to be unable to solve in a Hades/Sisyphus type of arrangement.
