Three Bellingham, Washington, high school administrators have been reassigned to the central office after being charged with failing to report a student's claim that she was sexually assaulted by another student. Maude Chimere Hackney, Meghan V. Dunham, and Jeremy Gilbert Louzao have pleaded not guilty. The student accused of assaulting the female student has been charged with felony indecent liberties by forcible compulsion.

In fairness, they have not yet been convicted (that I know of). They could still be falsely accused. To throw out just a few hypotheses:
The student-victim could be factually wrong about who she actually notified.
The "notification" could have been ambiguous or misunderstood.
The administrator could have actually escalated the issue but it got dropped at some other level.

I don't know if any of those are true. And until a jury renders a verdict, neither do you. Firing someone before the investigation is even done is as wrong as failing to fire them after the investigation finds them guilty.
