Trump Raid Allegedly Found Highly Classified, Top Secret Documents
After the former president dismissed the allegation as a "hoax," multiple sources now report that investigators found top secret and classified documents at Mar-a-Lago.

Yesterday, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that the Department of Justice (DOJ) sought to unseal the search warrant that precipitated the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump's resort home in Florida. Earlier reporting indicated that the search had to do with sensitive documents Trump had taken from the White House after his term ended.
Hours after Garland's press conference, The Washington Post reported that among the material seized in the raid, agents discovered "Classified documents relating to nuclear weapons," which experts characterized as "especially sensitive and usually restricted to a small number of government officials."
Trump criticized the Post's report as a "hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a hoax."
This afternoon, the Wall Street Journal reported that it had reviewed documents relating to the raid: In all, investigators removed 20 boxes of material comprising 11 sets of classified documents, "including some marked as top secret and meant to be only available in special government facilities." Fox News later confirmed the report based on its own review of the documents. Neither outlet had access to the actual contents of any of the documents.
In all, the records purportedly show that Trump was in possession of a tranche of documents that included those deemed top secret, the government's highest level of classification, as well as those designated "sensitive compartmented information" (SCI), meant only to be stored and viewed in specially designed government facilities. The search warrant authorized investigators to search "the 45 Office" and "all storage rooms and all other rooms or areas within the premises…in which boxes or documents could be stored," excluding any areas Trump or his staff would not frequent, like guest rooms. When investigators visited Mar-a-Lago earlier this year to see the storage area where Trump was keeping documents, they advised him to buy a better padlock and subpoenaed surveillance footage of the facility.
Breitbart News, in its own report related to the search documents, stipulated that "Attachment B to the warrant delineates the three statutes which agents are pursuing evidence under. They are: 18 U.S.C. § § 793, 2071, and 1519." Notably, 18 US Code § 793 is the statute of the Espionage Act under which National Security Agency contractor Reality Winner was charged for sharing a single document, of public importance, with news outlet The Intercept. Winner was ultimately sentenced to five years in federal prison, before gaining early release last year. Winner had appealed to Trump for clemency, unsuccessfully, during his presidency.
Politico noted that while Republicans have spent the week defending Trump, the newest revelations are causing splintering among the ranks. While many in the party's leadership are still forthrightly behind the former president and likely 2024 nominee, some are troubled by the potential national security implications of highly sensitive information being stored at a resort, which even during Trump's presidency was infiltrated by trespassers.

Can you imagine what would happen if an Iranian spy got a hold of the US nuclear weapons secrets?
Iranian funding to the Clinton foundation would plummet
"Highly classified" or "Top secret", which is it? Are top secret secrets lowly classified?
G-14 classified.
Classic. Gonna have to watch it again - can't get too much Jackie Chan.
Trump declassified this stuff. Besides, how do "unnamed sources" know what the hell was taken?
I hope Nancy Pelosi gets nut cancer...(Bubble boy)
I just worked part-time from my apartment for 5 weeks, but I made $30,030. I lost my former business and was soon worn out. Trump declassified this stuff.
Okay. Let's say that waving his hand over the documents and saying, "Thou art now declassified," is sufficient to make them declassified rather than there being a process for declassifying top secret information. That wouldn't change anything about how sensitive the information was to national security. If Trump did declassify nuclear weapons information, would you be at all concerned about whether he should have done that?
From what I'm reading in virtually every report that includes comments from people with experience in national security, the Espionage Act doesn't actually require national security information to be classified in order for handling it in certain ways to be illegal. And the Presidential Records laws also need to be followed for documents that aren't classified anyway.
Every official document is property of the people, not the person holding the office. This is yet another example to add to a very long list of Trump serving himself and not caring about the people or the law he was supposed to faithfully execute.
Pure BS. A Prez has absolute authority to declassify documents and absolute authority to take things wherever he wishes.
Unless the contents of such documents are made known DO NOT believe any reports about their classification status - this is a smokescreen to justify an illegal search.
A Prez has absolute authority to declassify documents and absolute authority to take things wherever he wishes.
And guess who wasn't President when he left the White House? Talk about BS. You are placing Trump above the law, like so many of his most strident followers frequently do.
First, we don't know WHEN he declassified them. There will be a paper trail to make the date factual. So stop the chicken little routine. We don't know yet and why should we trust the DOJ and FBI when they've been involved in cover ups for 70 years and several that mired the Trump presidency in legal and bureaucratic red tape with treasonous and illegal allegations (unproven) for 6 years? Secondly, how come you don't see the double standard with Hillary's server (illegal) with classified emails on them and the fact that she deleted emails that were required of her to submit and then busted up the cell phones and used bleach bit to make sure the investigators couldn't see what was on them...purposefully? Your hypocrisy is totally transparent. Trump was a loud mouth and often didn't act presidential. The elites and especially the Democratic machine hates him and will do anything to stop him. Okay. Why the one-sided justice system? Surely you can see that. Many Democrats see that. Can you?
First, we don't know WHEN he declassified them. There will be a paper trail to make the date factual.
Yes, a paper trail that actually shows that they were declassified would be awesome. Some hint that it didn't compromise national security to have declassified them and kept them in a storage room at a his residence, apparently near the pool, would also be nice. And given that he wasn't supposed to have any official records, classified or not, the whole 'but he declassified them' argument is almost beside the point.
We don't know yet and why should we trust the DOJ and FBI when they've been involved in cover ups for 70 years and several that mired the Trump presidency in legal and bureaucratic red tape with treasonous and illegal allegations (unproven) for 6 years?
More distraction. AG Garland essentially called Trump's bluff and moved to unseal the warrant and property receipts. Which, by the way, Trump could have released himself at any time. I think that they were "sealed" just meant that the government couldn't release them without the permission of the subject of the search as a way to protect his privacy. Recall that the motion to unseal them could have been opposed by Trump's legal team. After all, the target of an investigation and search is entitled to the presumption of innocence, so the government should not be letting information about investigations and searches out that might disparage the people being investigated before charges are brought.
This process has been about as transparent as you could possibly expect, and it is the statements by Trump and his team and allies that are not trustworthy. I saw that a lawyer for Trump claimed that he had a 'standing order' that any "homework" he brought from the Oval Office to his residence in the White House was to be considered declassified, which is pretty hard to believe. One - because of the security procedures surrounding classified information (declassifying it would mean anyone would be allowed to see it, not just that Trump could take it to his bedroom - and how would a 'standing order' like that leave the paper trail you seem to think would exist?). Two - Trump has said himself that he doesn't read and he has such a strong reputation for skipping national security briefings and not reading reports that it is hard to credit that he even would take something into the residence to 'study'. Then there is the '30 million' pages of documents he said Obama took, which was bullshit, since he was implying that Obama took them personally because some went to Chicago, but it was really that the National Archives had a facility there and they've never been in Obama's personal custody.
Trump lies like he breathes, but it is the FBI that can't be trusted, of course.
Secondly, how come you don't see the double standard with Hillary's server (illegal) with classified emails on them and the fact that she deleted emails that were required of her to submit and then busted up the cell phones and used bleach bit to make sure the investigators couldn't see what was on them...purposefully?
As much fun as whataboutism can be to engage in, this just doesn't fly. First, whataboutism is actually similar to a logical fallacy called tu quoque, Latin for "you also". The form of the fallacy is to respond to an accusation not with a defense of the behavior one is accused of or factual dispute about it, but with an argument that the accuser is guilty of the same behavior that they are claiming to be wrong. Note that this doesn't actually do anything, logically, to refute the original accusation. Hence, the logical fallacy. It is basically a type of red herring or ad hominem (depending on exactly how it is phrased). It is purely an attempt to distract.
Like Trump himself, you are trying to switch it around and put me on the defensive. I see it as a sign that you really don't have any real defense of Trump's behavior here. I have seen that one of Trump's lawyers also had signed a statement that there wasn't anything left that was classified while they were still discussing things back in June. That would appear to be a lie, now.
Keep defending Trump and accusing his critics of TDS. You are the one digging yourself further into a hole.
You hate Trump with the burning hatred of a thousand suns. OK.
I don't particularly like him either, but he was a good president. Lefties are always talking about "the end of Democracy" and such. The way I see it, the most certain route to the end of Democracy is to allow the party in power to use the DOJ/FBI to go after their political rivals.
Trump was president when he had those boxes of documents moved from the white house. The president has absolute authority to declassify anything he wants.
Democrats need to be destroyed at the polls or we will be much closer to "losing our representative Republic".
You hate Trump with the burning hatred of a thousand suns. OK.
Whether I hate Trump or not, at least I try and back up my assertions with verifiable facts and logical reasoning.
Trump was president when he had those boxes of documents moved from the white house. The president has absolute authority to declassify anything he wants.
It's like you aren't even reading what I wrote. Declassified or not, mishandling national security secrets can be a violation of the Espionage Act, which pre-dates the classification system we have now. Presidents don't own official documents. They are property of the people, and the law regarding them being archived properly must be followed by everyone, including the President.
Lefties are always talking about "the end of Democracy" and such. The way I see it, the most certain route to the end of Democracy is to allow the party in power to use the DOJ/FBI to go after their political rivals.
How about using the DOJ to declare that an election was tainted by fraud so that the party in power in various states can ignore the certified results and do what they want instead? Would that be a route to end democracy as well? Or to make sure that people loyal to the party are the ones responsible for administering elections and certifying the results?
Another danger that leads to the "end of Democracy" occurs when those with power won't acknowledge the will of the people and leave when they get voted out. It hasn't yet been shown that this search was politically motivated rather than based on probable cause that Trump had violated the law. Given that he had official records in his possession at all in violation of the laws regarding the preservation of official records, it seems damn solid to think that the search was legit. All of this DOJ/FBI is against Trump nonsense is just deflection and conspiracy without specific evidence. But there is no doubt what Trump and his allies did surrounding claims of fraud in 2020 and have been doing since then. That is why I absolutely am far more worried about that as a threat to our republic than any investigations of Trump.
This pile of lefty shit is just fine with murder as a preventative measure:

“How many officers were there to stop Ashlee Babbitt and the dozens of people behind her from getting into the legislative chamber to do who knows what?...”
I was going to say that. It's either classified or it's not. Top Secret/Secret/Confidential. That's it.
Bad week for disaffected, bigoted, worthless right-wingers. Adult supervision imposed in every direction:
Court grants access to Trump tax returns (should be fun!).
Trump relies on Fifth Amendment 400 times, establishing adverse inferences in civil litigation.
Giuliani ordered to travel like a big boy and testify.
FBI shows Trump who's boss.
Cincinnati clinger gets replaced with prejudice.
Authorities seize Scott Perry's cell phone.
Fake elector scammers receive subpoenas and target letters.
Clingers hardest hit, and repeatedly.
Sorry, forgot that Trump's accountant lost his crybaby challenge and will stand trial in six weeks . . . unless he decides to try to arrange a plea bargain with sufficiently valuable testimony concerning any crimes by others he might have witnessed.
In this thread, Kirkles the gecko says nothing of consequence.
Asshole bigot has yet to offer anything, anywhere at even 1st-grade level.
You seem more uninformed than the person who wrote this article.
Who has derangement syndrome worse? ????????♂️
You’re clearly infected with TDS. Your brain has stopped working.
Sounds more like fascists consolidating their power and attempting to discredit their strongest opponents.
We've been "hardest hit" for about the last 5 years under Kirkland's standards.
You know who needs constant, I mean constant adult supervision? Hint - It's one of Kirkland's guys.
East shit and die, asshole bigot.
Trump declassified a whole bunch of stuff that the DOJ has been illegally dragging its feet on, despite even some court orders to immediately proceed as well, two years on.
The DOJ and FBI are lawless organizations now.
Where's Jeff, I want him to sealion me on this.
I had a long discussion with Jeff on how classification works when sarc one time claimed someone didn't get a security clearance due to high school counseling records. Even with multiple documentations on how the system works he kept denying it. Guy is a fucking idiot.
Yeah the fact that a document is stamped classified doesn't prove that it is currently classified. Specifically Trump ordered the declassification of the Crossfire Hurricane files but, as you point out, the DOJ has refused to respond. I'm no expert but it appears the president has the authority to classify and declassify anything while in office. Turly says it's never been tested in court so who knows. Trump's attorneys have been saying from the beginning that the documents in storage had been declassified. I'm beginning to think that it's the Crossfire docs that DOJ/FBI are interested in. Of course they have copies and undoubtedly Trump does too. But if they can delegitimize Trump by claiming he's a dangerous criminal in possession of classified documents maybe they can neuter his presidential aspirations and send Crossfire down the memory hole. Just a theory at this point but there's one thing I know for certain. Whatever is going on here not as it appears. And if idiots like Joe Lancaster get to write the narrative the real story will never see the light of day.
And it's beginning to smell a lot like justice...
1. Federal investigation into Trump's violation of the Espionage Act
2. Georgia investigation into Trump's interference of the election (this one is a slam dunk)
3. Federal investigation into Trump's role in the 1/6 insurrection
4. Congress investigation into Trump's role the 1/6 insurrection
5. Federal investigation into Trump's efforts to overthrow the election
6. New York Attorney General's investigation into Trump Organization's business practices
7. Manhattan DA's criminal investigation of Trump Organization
Walls. Closing. In.
I doubt it...the espionage act was unconstitutional when Wilson got it passed and used selectively to silence dissent around WWI. As for the rest...mostly on the edge stuff but do you really won't to go down this road? Sooner or later the other side will have the levers of power....and maybe it will be time to see what old Obama has, Clinton, how Pelosi is worth $500M and so on...and where did all that Ukraine money go? But if that is where we go..well maybe a national divorce will occur faster..
You're right, but Gaear was being facetious.
What libertarian wouldn't want to "go down this road"? We should be just as happy to see dirty Democrats as well as dirty Republicans actually held accountable. The more crappy politicians of any stripe are prosecuted, and the more that exposes the dangers of overreaching government, the happier I am.
"We should be just as happy to see dirty Democrats as well as dirty Republicans actually held accountable. The more crappy politicians of any stripe are prosecuted, and the more that exposes the dangers of overreaching government, the happier I am."
TDS-addled shit is more than happy with fishing expeditions.
Tipping point! This Is The Beginning Of The End!
One of those witchhunts just has to pay off. You'll get him one day, Shrike.
This is really starting to look like a Wile E. Coyote/Roadrunner cartoon.
Your raging case of TDS, asshole.
You obviously don't know the difference between justice and vengeance. The fact that there are Federal investigations doesn't mean there is anything behind them. The Jan. 6 investigations for instance are an obvious crock, he didn't incite or even come close to inciting. Not sure you could say the same of the FBI.
As for the NY prosecutors investigating, if he was a crook he was a crook for decades and the NY establishment had no problem with it. It's only know he's going to get reelected they want to dig something up.
Justice would be if the second time around he really does put her in jail, and Beijing Biden too.
It's been a hot minute since this was popular, so let's see if I can still do this right:
The Washington Post
reportedclaimed, without evidence, that among the material seized in the raid, agents discovered "Classified documents relating to nuclear weapons," which experts characterized as "especially sensitive and usually restricted to a small number of government officials."They also found an
angel food cakeweapons-grade uranium yellowcake."Sources" allege something. WaPo reports it. Joe Lancaster runs with it, like it's 100% truth. The media is a fucking joke.
Joe Lancaster's life doesn't matter.
Given there was no mention of nuclear weapons in the warrant or the items taken, I am surprised Reason would repeat the completely unfounded, yet defamitory accusation. Oh wait, no I am not.
Actually the warrant doesn't say anything about classified documents at all. It gives the FBI the authority to seize any and all presidential document produced between 1/20/17 and 1/20/21. No shit.
"Actually the warrant doesn't say anything about classified documents at all. "
From the warrant: "Property to be seized: ...
"Any physical documents with classification markings...
"Information, including communications in any form, regarding the
retrieval, storage, or transmission of national defense information or classified material...
"Any evidence of the knowing alteration, destruction, or concealment of...any documents with classification markings."
The warrant does ALSO authorize the seizure of "Any government and/or Presidential Records created between January 20, 2017, and January 20, 2021".
(And the "RECEIPT FOR PROPERTY" section listing the things that were seized includes "Various classified/TS/SCI documents", "Miscellaneous Secret Documents", "Miscellanous Top Secret Documents", more "Miscellanous Top Secret Documents", ""Miscellanous Confidential Documents", and several more groups of "Confidential Documents" and "Secret Documents" and "Top Secret Documents".)
So they report that boxes of documents that must be signed in and out, guarded 100% of the time and can only be viewed in a highly secured room somehow ended up in Trumps bedroom closet and weren't missed for 2 years. Oh, and there can be no proof that the documents were even ever in the closet because no one can see them, but we should take their word for it they were there.
Can you show your arithmetic on your “2 years” claim?
it's calculated using methods from the textbook "Math for Political Propaganda", a classic shaper of hack minds for like a million years
August 2022 Minus January 2021, one year seven months rounds to two years.
'See here?! That's what is says!'
Pro-RKBA Liberal assumes the rube will buy the bullshit.
Thanks for proving the point that the warrant doesn't mention classified documents at all, but documents with classification markings. Or are you so clueless you think those are the same things?
>>"Classified documents relating to nuclear weapons,"
lol don't be a fucking parrot.
"Allegedly".
That’s French for guilty!
The list released by WSJ did not list material marked FRD or RD. If it is nuclear and non released it would have those markings. It is parallel to NSI information.
https://www.usgs.gov/survey-manual/4408-nuclear-formerly-restricted-data-frd-and-restricted-data-rd-information
Wapo was wrong.
Trump has already stated today the documents that were marked classified were declassified by him prior to leaving office, which is in line with his teams February statements. He was also working with the FBI who saw these boxes all the way back in June.
Hillary had 22 TS documents on an unsecured server connected to the internet. She was not raided abd was allowed to wipe the server so nobody could see if the material was accessed.
https://www.npr.org/2016/01/29/464811045/as-iowa-caucuses-near-clinton-email-probe-persists
That server was also hacked, most likely by the Russians. But still, no investigation or arrest for Hildog.
Please cite information that HC's server was hacked?
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/jul/13/russians-hillary-clinton-email-server-trump-indictment
An indictment filed by Robert Mueller, the special counsel, said Russian hackers attempted “for the first time” to break into email accounts used by Clinton’s personal office “after hours” on 27 July 2016.
Parenthetically, the password on Hillary's server was "password". Let that sink in for a minute.
"Parenthetically, the password on Hillary's server was "password"
Is this for real, geez.
No I tried that first and it failed. Then I tried "HillaryTheQueen" on a hunch. I mean I heard that's what they did.
Once her private server came on-line it was pretty much guaranteed that any government not using the dictator's nephew as an IT Dept had hacked that server within a couple of hours.
Whatever was on that server was spread world-wide by the next morning, and it is only HRC's abysmal ignorance and insecure defensiveness which allows that pile of shit to assume otherwise.
BTW, given her abysmal stupidity and her raging narcissism, it would come as no surprise that the was the password, and labeling the site as "USSoS" wouldn't surprise me, either.
https://www.politico.com/story/2015/10/hillary-clinton-email-server-hacked-china-south-korea-germany-214546
Hillary Clinton’s private email server containing tens of thousands of messages from her tenure as secretary of state — including more than 400 now considered classified — was the subject of hacking attempts from China, South Korea and Germany after she stepped down in 2013, according to Congressional investigators.
https://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/07/us/hillary-clintons-email-was-probably-hacked-experts-say.html
When you've lost the NT Times...
When the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said on Tuesday that his investigators had no “direct evidence” that Hillary Clinton’s email account had been “successfully hacked,” both private experts and federal investigators immediately understood his meaning: It very likely had been breached, but the intruders were far too skilled to leave evidence of their work.
So lock her up. What the fuck does this have to do with Trump's crimes?
Lol.
Ugh, these stupid MAGAheads think our tolerance of Hillary Clinton's honest mistakes somehow translates to not wanting to throw Trump in jail.
Like we would be that inconsistent.
Honest mistakes are still mistakes. Especially when it comes to classified data.
Give one person the kid gloves treatment and the next person will expect the same.
Deliberately evadomg the requirements of official records act isn't an "honest mistake".

Did you miss M4E's sealion about Hillary four posts above? That's why they responded.
Fucking retard.
Hillary was exonerated (although in a way that probably cost her the election). Just as she has been every time Republicans tried to pin something on her. How does that make you feel, to be such a fucking loser?
Now we're onto Trump.
Not charged does not mean exonerated dummy. And comes wasn't the charging authority, it wasn't his decision.
This is Tony's version of exonerated.
"Dismissed FBI agent changed Comey’s language on Clinton emails to ‘extremely careless’: report'
https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/363194-former-fbi-agent-changed-comeys-language-of-clinton-email-use-to/
The FBI originally said Hillary was "grossly negligent" but an FBI agent (Strzok) changed the wording to "extremely careless" because grossly negligent is a chargeable offence.
Libya? How many fucking innocent civilians died with her regime change war. Little liberal art baby boomers playing war on a planning board in DC...while real people are blown to bits. She is a parasite..defending a child rapist and laughing about getting him off. Man you are sick if you think she is a hero here. Hell she couldn't beat Trump...Bernie could have beaten Trump...honestly he could have which shows how bad she was as a candidate.
"Hillary was exonerated"
How, you lying fuck? How was she exonerated?
The steaming pile of lefty shit Tony gave her a pass.
"Hillary was exonerated..."
You are both a liar and full of shit.
exonerated
Oh, look. Tony uses another word without knowing what it means.
-jcr
What crimes would those be?
How dare you link all those notorious right wing sites as evidence!
So, what I take from your references is that there were attempted hacks and that none ever succeed. If you find a citation that said the hacks did succeed let me know.
BTW: Most people and certainly most systems get attempted hacks. Thats the nature of the world today. It when they succeed that we worry.
She wiped her server to show the evidence if it was dummy.
Can you check that sentence, because it doesn't seem to make sense?
She bit bleached the drive on the server before handing over.
The FBI relied on a report from her IT company and accepted it in whole. When the hell does the FBI do that? That's literally obstruction of evidence.
Also keep in mind. The emails on that server were under subpoena from a Judicial Watch lawsuit. It's not that she simply deleted the emails. She did so to obstruct the subpoena. That's why "But her emails" is so stupid to anyone who believes the law should be enforced.
In order to check if a server was accessed without permission, they need a non wiped server for the most part dummy. Proving it was accessed became near impossible after using bleach bit.
It's only a hack if it's a successful hack?
Now do January 6th.
" It very likely had been breached, but the systems was far too open to leave evidence of their work."

Please cite information that HC's server was hacked?
What? Do you think our enemies are a stupid as you are.
Hillary Clinton was thoroughly investigated by Congress and the FBI and nothing came of those investigations. She even talked to the Congressional Committees and the FBI and never once used the 5th.
So, when the former President has been investigated as much as Hillary Clinton and when he has testified for many hours they will be equal.
This is why people believe you to be terrible parody.
It is.
And what difference, at this point, does it make?
I’m no fan of HRC, but She did in fact sit in front of Trey Gaudy and the rest of those goons and made them look stupid. Didn’t take the 5th. Didn’t hide behind lawyers. Simply told those fuckers to their face that they were full of shit.
The fuck she did, shrike.
"I don't recall, I don't recall, I don't recall, I don't recall, I don't recall..."
Oldie but a goodie.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eWQureIC1QM
.she is a fucking war monger who got thousands to tens of thousands killed in regime change wars in Libya and Syria. Her conduct defending a child rapist and getting him off by tactics that would cause the left to call her actions disgusting. And she stayed married to a rapist for political gain. You might want to pick your heroes a bit better.
"I’m no fan of HRC..." Sounds like he did pick his heroes better. I don't get people who show up here in the comments for a libertarian magazine acting as if everyone who isn't Team Red is Team Blue, and vice versa. I mean, if you think the Republicans are the best expression of libertarianism out there, you do you. It's dumb, in my opinion, but you do you. But to pretend that everyone else is either Red or Blue is just stupid.
Like, with a cloth?
You mean when she kept answering "I don't recall"?
https://www.cnn.com/videos/tv/2016/09/02/fbi-hillary-clinton-report-email-investigation-classified-perez-lead.cnn
Hillary pleaded Alzheimers.
The investigation discovered that Clinton indeed stored classified info on a private not approved of such actions.
But Comey said "she wasn't reckless, so that's that".
Under the comey standard, as many as half of all prison population could go free.
Wiped? Like with a cloth?
Hillary also had compartmentalized information
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/hillary-clintons-private-_b_10354484
The issue here is the double standard for law enforcement.
The double standard is that Hillery was investigated and cooperated and was exonerated. The Trump investigation need to finish just like the numerus Hillary ones did.
""cooperated and was exonerated""
Wrong and wrong.
Cooperated isn't stonewalling by claiming not to recall.
Not being charged is not the same as being exonerated.
Something that should be pretty clear cut. If you handle classified documents poorly, you should be held accountable. But since Hillary was given a pass for her extreme carelessness (Comey's words) it makes this look like partisanship.
"it makes this look like partisanship"
Well, that's because it was.
As noted above, 'grossly negligent' were Comey's words. 'Extremely careless' were the words Peter Strzok replaced them with.
Smashing Blackberries with hammers and "Bleach Bitting" deleted e-mails, that were under subpoena, is not cooperating.
Normal people, when they clear a server of e-mails don't go to the extra effort to "Bleach Bit" them unless they have something to hide.
And, unlike Trump, she had no power to declare those discovered classified documents - she missed some - declassified.
She wasn't exonerated for anything. Comey aditted that she broke the law, but let her off the hook because she wasn't "criminally reckless".
State Dept. frequently deals in Human Intelligence. HUMINT is among the most sensitive information as it can directly get people killed. Hard to believe that her server did not contain lots of HUMINT classified info. It would have been primarily TS/SCI.
China wiped out all our Chinese assets - like 2 or 3 dozen people - in 2014 or 2015 I believe.

You know, cosmologists have a theory that there are an infinite number of universes in the multiverse and that because that number is infinite any possible reality must be taking place in at least one universe.
With that in mind, I’d like to somehow surveil the universe where I’m reading the reason.com comment section and its Hillary Clinton who has taken top secret documents into her Lair of Slitheren and she’s just been raided by the FBI. I’m sure in that universe the peanuts here would be talking about defunding the FBI and planting documents. Uh huh… fer sure.
Joe Friday, Jeff, you, among others would be making those claims.
You fuckers are partisan to the core.
The difference between you and me, Bob, is I’m perfectly willing to discuss the manifest failures of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. You guys just aren’t capable of doing that with regard to Dear Leader. It’s fucking Pavlovian. You fucking need to be deprogrammed. Dear Leader and the GOP have you in a cult. Get out before you strap a suicide vest to yourself to go out and demonstrate your loyalty to this pig and liar.
Really.
If Obama and Biden received the same shitshow treatment as Trump did for four years and counting, Obama and Biden fans might react the same way.
Fucking pathetic.
Trump was wrong. He's done far worse than shoot someone on 5th Avenue, and you're still with him.
His only crime was hurting your feelings.
Like what, you fifty-centing twit.
Give us an example. A real one.
Obstructing Congress during its investigation into his soliciting foreign election interference and incitement of insurrection, and that's just the two things he was impeached for.
Now we're talking about his stealing of top secret government documents.
Lol. And he is back to trump colluded.
Turning your brain off might make the cognitive dissonance go away, so I can't fault you for trying.
What collusion Tony? Mueller said no evidence of collusion.
You spouted two outright lies that you know are lies, but Jesse is the one with cognitive dissonance?
Tony. Take a breath. Read Navy vs Egan 1987. The Supreme Court has already weighed in here.
https://mobile.twitter.com/mrddmia/status/1558157587165589504
Who am I kidding. Roll around in your own ignorance.
Like a dog returning to his vomit.
Note that there is zero evidence that he solicited foreign election interference*, so at worst he "obstructed" an inquiry with no underlying crime.
As for inciting insurrection he didn't tell them to attack the capitol, nor make any preparations that would make such an attack viable. Meanwhile the FBI's buddy Ray Epps did.
"Now we're talking about his stealing of top secret government documents."
Which his lawyers claim are declassified. There appears to be zero evidence other than the FBI's word that he did anything wrong. Surely even you aren't stupid enough to... oh wait it's Tony.
* Oh and that's Muller's opinion not just mine.
Imagine if Trump had Bob Barr raid Obama's house for documents intended for his Presidential Library, because they thought some of them might relate to Spygate.
The media and shrike would lose their fucking minds.
He wouldn't have been able to get a warrant.
Probably have to find some crooked magistrate that was donating to his opponents and vociferously attacking him on Facebook... Whoops! Uh-oh...
By Jeff you are referring to chemjeff?
Please cite one instance of chemjeff saying anything that would peg him as a Democratic partisan.
Lol.
Please cite one instance of chemjeff saying anything that would peg him as a Democratic partisan.
Literally every single thing he has ever posted here. Who the hell do you imagine you're tricking, Mike?
At this point it seems to be pure delusion. Like brandy citing a region showing 65% democrat to be a conservative area in California.
They are just delusional morons. Those D students who tried to answer every question in class.
As a physicist, the multiverse theory is bullshit. Just like Schrödinger's cat (it isn't alive and dead)...does not exist in a super positional state until you look at it.
Bad analogy..
Neither can be proven or disproven thus become problems of philosophy rather than science.
'....the newest revelations are causing splintering among the ranks...', e.g. Liz Cheney has announced she cannot defend Trump in this instance. They were given up to 14 days to remove top secret information. Something is rotten in Denmark.
Ooh look… someone is talking bad about my Dear Leader and Master
… says the Pavlovian dog.
Why did you change back from your "Scott Rose" sock?
Shrike's trying to create the impression of multiple people holding his narrative.
Thought it was using the Ali Ahkbar sock
He uses a half dozen socks in any given week.
The documents are supposed to be viewed at a certain location so is the FBI saying Trump pulled a Sandy Berger and stuffed them down his pants and removed them? Or are they just 'routine' documents with a 'scary' label of Top Secret that aren't so 'Secret' and were declassified?
The rumors continue to be Crossfire Hurricane documents or possibly his communications with foreign leaders.
If the reporting is correct, they were not declassified.
Mighty big if there. Almost as big as an assault fire extinguisher.
"splintering among the ranks"
"Liz Cheney"
Don't you have to be in the ranks in the first place in order to splinter from them?
Yeah those ranks were firmly separated long ago.
Liz Cheney still defends Iraq war...think about that for a second wokes
https://twitter.com/Heminator/status/1558140303776808962?t=8My8_zJtbWFP8okfY1-XVQ&s=19
What the hell is wrong with The Atlantic? They’re calling a literal terrorist group a “bogeyman” just because people on the right have the temerity to not want to be firebombed?

Well, duh, they are White Nationalist Christofascist, so they can’t be bad

For anyone who wants a source other than FBI PR:
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/hoax-trump-denies-nuclear-weapons-report-likens-steele-dossier
Much of the information in the Steele Dossier was correct. Most of it had to do with Trump's business in Russia. Even his children admitted that many of his loans originated with Russians, see The Hill / PAULINA FIROZI - 05/07/17.
Lol. Parody.
Deer God
The 17 antlered God is fearsome.
""Much of the information in the Steele Dossier was correct. ""
You still believe that? lol.
""A series of investigations and lawsuits have discredited many of its central allegations and exposed the unreliability of Steele’s sources."
https://www.cnn.com/2021/11/18/politics/steele-dossier-reckoning/index.html
From the same CNN article.
"But Democratic involvement in Steele’s work was much deeper than previously known. Court filings from the Durham inquiry recently revealed that some information in the dossier originated from Charles Dolan, 71, a public relations executive with expertise in Russian affairs who had a decades-long political relationship with the Clinton family. "
And the dossier was literally paid for Russian misinformation lol.
The Hillary camp didn't care if it was misinformation as that can still be used against a political opponent.
Hillary was bragging about knowing Russia was pulling Trump's strings because she had already paid for the story.
You don't seem to understand what he's saying. "Much of" doesn't mean that most of it was accurate or that the important parts were. Much of what is said in the Bible is true, for instance Egypt had Pharaohs, the Nile exists, Jerusalem is a place. That doesn't mean that Christ rose from the dead. "Much of" almost any narrative is true if the person does even basic research.
"Much of the information in the Steele Dossier was correct."
No it wasn't. Not one drop.
It takes a true believer to hold up something so thoroughly refuted as scripture.
Now now, there was plenty of info in the Steele dossier that was correct. Of course, none of the correct info was actually damaging.
If by "information", you mean "they spelled most words correctly", you're right. But that's about it.
"Much of the information in the Steele Dossier was correct. "
Much of it wasn't though was it? For instance there is zero evidence of the piss tape or the incident that was allegedly taped. He got basic facts wrong, the fact that he didn't get it wrong all the time is supposed to be evidence of accuracy of the rest. Yes I too can copy easily established facts into a report. That doesn't mean the rest of the report is accurate.
Hey, the poll worker who committed vote fraud in Madison, WI replied.

Aww, it thinks it's people.
But as we all know by now, leftists aren't people.

Prediction: An illiterate DC grand jury of hardcore Dem partisans will indict Trump, a separate jury of hardcore partisans will convict, a corrupt DC Circuit will affirm, and SCOTUS will be left to overturn. At which point the Left will violently attack SCOTUS. God help us all.
Sounds about right, but we won't know the plan's a go until they start to accuse Republicans of it.
Do not get why it'd be in DC. The "crime" occurred in FL officially.

Do you people know that that shit isn't funny and don't care, or do you actually find it funny? Is it a desperate need for it to be funny? For mainstream society to find you other than sad, provincial rubes?
What happens when you encounter actual humor? Do you not get it or what?
You’re just upset the article isn’t real.
I'm curious about how subjective taste is, that's all.
It’s way funnier than you are intelligent. Morons like you that treat the Babylon Bee as a threat to democracy are a sight to behold.
It's hilarious. You're just furious because you're the butt of the joke.
No, I understand the attempt at a joke. I've puzzled over that publication a few times. It's just where I come from, humor often requires something more than just restating a political position, especially if that political position is how some vulnerable minority is gross.
Well, that's not what the Bee does, so now I know for sure that you're full of shit.
You could have clicked a link and perused several articles to get an idea first, but instead you chose to regurgitate talking-points you picked up from Twitter.
Tony doesn’t even regurgitate lies, he simply makes them up in his head as he goes along. He is pure filth.
Talking points...issued.
Babylon Bee is what the Onion used to be before it became a tedious bore.
The Bablylon Bee’s got nothing on the Onion.

Now that’s comedy gold! Ha ha! LOL!
Oof
"PALM BEACH, FL—Noting that it had already been there for almost two weeks, Mar-a-Lago assistant manager Chris Mahoney reportedly wondered Monday if anyone was coming to collect the nuclear briefcase from the club’s lost-and-found. “Someone noticed it in the dining room and dropped it off, and it’s just been sitting at the bottom of the bin ever since,” said Mahoney, adding that he had been asking people coming to collect their lost scarves and sunglasses if they might also have misplaced a briefcase attached to a pair of handcuffs. “You’d think whoever it belongs to would have realized that they lost it by now. Well, I’ll give it a few more weeks—if no one claims it after 60 days, it’s up for grabs, and I can see if someone on my staff wants it.” At press time, a man had mistakenly claimed the briefcase as his own before getting home to discover all the unfamiliar buttons inside."
Humor can be political in nature. The best humor often involves satire on race and gender, which the left is keen on suppressing at every turn.
Actual humor? Dave Chapelle? Joe Rogan? John Cleese? or Joe Biden who is pretty funny trying to put his jacket on...Corn Pop rules..
Everything we know about the former President says that he monetized the American Presidency for his gain. He stayed at his hotels which were paid by American tax funds. He has been fund raising from the Election Lie, from lawsuits against him, and he has personal use of the Republican Party funds. Now it appears that as severance pay, he took documents that could be sold or traded.
I had thought the document were probably his daily briefings that he doodled on and did want people to see. But these documents look like ones that were sought out and that could only be because he thought they had value. They are unlikely to be light reading for the retired and this man is not a nuclear engineer, that was President Carter.
Holy shit, Stage 5 TDS
I'm saving this post to hang around your neck when the WaPo's speculation turns out to be bullshit.
Oh, and give us an example of your extraordinary claim here, M4E:
"he monetized the American Presidency for his gain."
Well he didn’t specify which former president he was talking about.
Tell me you are gullible without saying you are gullible.
Obama and Biden went from middle class to being worth hundreds of millions. They are truly corrupt.
Trump lost hundreds of millions from serving as president.
Good god, you are a gullible fool.
Let's look at President's net worth before and after the Presidency (say two years post presidency). Obama is worth what now? Bush? Clinton?.....
I’m all but certain that charging hotel stays to the US government was 90% of why Trump ran for president.
"Everything we know about the former President says that he monetized the American Presidency for his gain."
DO YOU KNOW HOW LITTLE THAT NARROWS IT DOWN?

BREAKING: Congress just passed the Left's Big Government Socialism Bill and President Biden is set to sign it into law tonight.
Buried in the half-a-trillion dollar spending package is a grossly expanded and supercharged IRS!
https://www.judicialwatch.org/judicial-watch-statement-on-trump-warrant-release/
We’re pleased Judicial Watch legal pressure forced the partial release of warrant materials about the Biden administration’s political raid on the home of former President Trump. Judicial Watch expects and demands the underlying warrant affidavit and other materials be immediately disclosed. The U.S. Constitution and federal law give unreviewable authority to President Trump to take whatever records he wishes at the end of his presidency. The Biden administration’s dishonest depiction of personal records of President Trump it illicitly seized during the raid as “classified” is further demonstration that the raid was a brazen act of raw political abuse.
Did you see liberals freak out over trump releasing an unredacted warrant with the FBI agents names? Lol.
They demanded he release it all week.
Yep.
"HoW dARe He DoX fBi AgEnTs!"
It really comes down to a choice. Are you going to feed yourselves increasingly ludicrous conspiracy narratives in order to keep paying into the sunk cost of tribal loyalty your media diet has imprinted upon you? Are you going to escalate to acts of violence, all the more convincing to yourself that you're right and all the more distracting from the horrible truth?
Or are you going to man up and realize that you were, in fact, wrong to support a corrupt, cheesy 90s tabloid figure to be in charge of the nuclear arsenal?
Explain to me why I should feel anything but contempt for you people and why I should care about your well-being. At some point you're going to have to realize there are bigger crimes than setting fire to a dumpster in Portland.
Tell us about Trump russia again Tony.
Russia interfered with the 2016 election in Trump's favor, and Trump accepted that interference with enthusiasm. Exactly as the investigation into the matter disclosed.
You are a fucking grown up, so that means you need to read things sometimes.
Lol. Doesn't matter how much it is discredited. 100k in FB ads changed an election.
This isn't sour grapes, this is just facts. It's disturbing that any fully grown human voted for Donald Trump, for all sorts of reasons that implicate our entire species in shame.
""The Committee has seen no evidence that any votes were
changed or that any voting machines were manipulated.^""
From Vol 1 page 3, under Findings
https://www.warner.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/2020/8/senate-intel-adopts-volume-5-of-bipartisan-russia-report
Now Tony's going to have sour grapes.
I interact with people here all the time who still repeat lies they got from Russian memes, so yeah some votes were changed via the manipulation of brains.
But it's all entirely beside the point, as we're onto his brand new crimes.
Your point was that it was interference. You either do not seem to understand the definition, or you are trying to gaslight.
You do not have a problem with Russian influence of the election. If you did you too would be calling out Hillary for using Russian information via a former foreign intelligence agent.
Hillary paid for the Steele dossier.
Hillary paid for false information to connect Trump to a Russian bank. Information manipulated by the FBI. And that doesn't concern you?
Hillary did not pay for lies. Why would anyone pay for lies?
Take away 50 things Trump has been accused of and he'd still be one of the most corrupt humans ever to walk the face of the earth.
If a Democrat had done 1/5,000,000th of what he's done, they'd be in front of a firing squad.
Why are you still defending this abomination?
Dossier Russian source admitted to just pushing and creating narratives that were un sourced in court..
Are you truly this ignorant?
Because she thought they would be useful lies.
The Steele dossier was lies. She paid for that.
She paid for the information lying about Trump's connection to a Russian bank (Alpha).
Why do you think me pointing out Hillary paid for lies is defending Trump?
"...Take away 50 things Trump has been accused of and he'd still be one of the most corrupt humans ever to walk the face of the earth..."
TDS-addled piles of shit like Tony continue to make this claim and we are to accept is simply because of Tony's raging case of TDS.
There is zero evidence of corruption, but that doesn't stop shitbag from lying about it every time he posts.
"I interact with people here all the time who still repeat lies they got from Russian memes, so yeah some votes were changed via the manipulation of brains."
This might be proof that Tony is actually a bot.
I interact with Tony a few times and I've never even seen these ads, outside of articles that discuss how ineffective they were. Comey's investigation revealed that something like 1% of Americans were affected by these ads.
This fool thinks our brains were manipulated by an image of Jesus arm wrestling Satan and with the line that read "If you don't vote for Trump Satan wins". My God, there could be 300 thousand Americans fighting on Russia's side now if only they released memes that read "if you don't beat Ukraine that means you are gay"
"...This might be proof that Tony is actually a bot..."
Abysmal stupidity will suffice, and it seems quite obvious that shitbag is *ABYSMALLY* stupid.
So when 23 international newspapers endorsed a candidate foe the 2016 elections, was that foreign interference?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newspaper_endorsements_in_the_2016_United_States_presidential_election
Maybe the problem is that you think I care as much as you do about whether Trump gets off on a semantic technicality.
What semantics? I'm asking you for consistency of your claims.
"Maybe the problem is that you think I care as much as you do about whether Trump gets off on a semantic technicality."
These were YOUR claims.
Oh, it's worse than that; European governments and politicians clearly favored and supported one candidate over another, and seem to have provided intelligence on Trump.
FB ads might be influence but it's not interference. Too many people can't seem to understand the difference.
Deliberately pretend there's no difference.
"Russia interfered with the 2016 election in Trump's favor, and Trump accepted that interference with enthusiasm. Exactly as the investigation into the matter disclosed.
You are a fucking grown up, so that means you need to read things sometimes."
Who's the rube?
Exactly. No one ever said Trump illegally colluded with Russia to steal the 2026 election. That’s just a Magahead strawman.
Are you going to feed yourselves increasingly ludicrous conspiracy narratives
I mean, no offense, but I'd say the four years of Trump's Presidency proved that either the center-left has more than it's fair share of ludicrous conspiracy theories or they are possibly the worst investigators since Mr. Magoo.
Take your pick I suppose, although I suppose it's also possible Trump is the craftiest criminal since Al Capone. That doesn't seem to jive with the left also thinking Trump is a massive idiot though. Usually we'd call that kind of thing cognitive dissonance at best.
Explain to me why I should feel anything but contempt for you people and why I should care about your well-being.
For what it's worth, this basically makes you a monster who says from the outset that you don't care what anyone has to say. I'm not even really sure why I bothered to reply other than the blatant hypocrisy on display.
If Trump were crafty, he wouldn’t have gotten caught.
Those walls haven’t finished closing in, even though that have been for 6 years.
He didn't get caught. The democrats just charged with whatever they wanted nothing ever stuck.
But they would have you believe that Trump is a secret Russian agent who sold out his country's secret. They're living in a world of a James Bond movie, so in their minds Trump is "crafty"
"Are you going to feed yourselves increasingly ludicrous conspiracy narratives "
Yeah the FBI would never conspire to undermine Trump. I mean it's not like FBI agents would lie to get warrants on the regime's political opponents. Surely they know they'd spend years in jail if they were caught doing that.
"Or are you going to man up and realize that you were, in fact, wrong to support a corrupt, cheesy 90s tabloid figure to be in charge of the nuclear arsenal?"
What harm has it done? Nobody got nuked, which frankly might not have been the case if Crocked 'n' Crazy had got in.
Article II of the Constitution vests absolute authority as Commander in Chief. In the 1988 Supreme Court ruling in Department of Navy v. Egan, the court wrote “His [the President’s] authority to classify and control access to information bearing on national security…flows primarily from this Constitutional investment of power in the President, and exists quite apart from any explicit congressional grant.”
In other words, the president has the final authority to classify or declassify documents at will. There is no fourth branch of government that can exercise authority over the President on intelligence matters. The intelligence agencies all fall under the Executive Branch. And Congress cannot exercise authority over the Executive if the President’s authority originates out of the Constitution.
The Espionage Act doesn't even refer to documents' classification. There are laws about concealing government documents, and laws about disseminating sensitive government information, that have nothing to do with whether they are technically classified.
And Trump and others in his circle said all documents at Mar A Lago were declassified prior to him leaving office. These statements were made months ago dummy.
Reread what I wrote and consider the fact that Alex Jones has to pay $50 million to compensate for lies that you thought were true the whole time.
Cite? When have I mentioned Alex jones ever?
And what does your post have that contradicts my statement?
Are you aware that, under TX law, Jones will be paying far, far, far less than that?
No problem just show us the declassification paperwork.
All you have to see is the order, that's all that matters.
The Biden DOJ has been illegally dragging its feet on declassification of material Trump ordered declassified despite several court orders to proceed immediately.
I think you know this. I think you were trying to be dishonest.
It doesn't require paperwork from the president.
Someone has to do the paperwork for this. Yes, the President can declassify anything but doesn't mean there is no record made of the order. So, let's see the order declassifying the material.
No, nobody has to do paperwork. The president can simply declare information to be declassified, and according to Grenell, Trump has done that for all the documents.
Neither is the Espionage Act going to fly, because that requires dissemination and intent to injure the United States.
You're grasping at straws.
"...No, nobody has to do paperwork..."
Even if required, they got him for not signing on pg 35?!
No they don't. They can literally say something is declassified. They fuck up all the time. Obama and Robert Gates went on tv once after a comparentalized test shot and gave away classified information. The President can determine classification at will. Navy vs Egan 1987.
"Someone has to do the paperwork for this. Yes, the President can declassify anything but doesn't mean there is no record made of the order. So, let's see the order declassifying the material."
If true, then the President does not have power to declassify. A bureaucrat has that power.
You're wrong here.
No he's correct. The paper-trail on the disposition of the formerly classified material must be completed. The custodians of that material signed for it and need something to show why he doesn't possess them.
But, the material is declassified the moment the prez says it is and the minions who aren't fast enough to keep the paperwork straight just need to be trained better.
Information in Trump's basement is clearly not being "dissseminated".
Furthermore, the Espionage Act requires intent: "the information to be obtained is to be used to the injury of the United States, or to the advantage of any foreign nation". Good luck proving intent.
"The Espionage Act doesn't even refer to documents' classification."
Right. Meaning if Trump was within his rights to keep these documents, they now have to prove that he intended to USE these documents to injure the nation. Obstruction of Justice is also a whole different matter.
That's going to be hard to prove. If the FBI listened in on any quid pro quo regarding these documents, they wouldn't have waited this long to act.
Prosecutors have a record of overcharging American citizens. It may have happened to Trump here, by the prosecutor of the highest level.
Yet more evidence Trump is clearly unfit for office.
Any high ranking official who can't or won't correctly handle classified information has no business being President of the United States. This should completely disqualify him from seeking office ever, no matter his intent to commit a crime. He shouldn't even be the town dog catcher.
I mean, who in their right mind would keep classified documents at their personal residence in an improper manner?
People with classified storages in their houses: presidents, vice presidents, most secretaries of dept, FBI heads, CIA heads....
Example.
https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/459472-comeys-classified-misconduct-and-the-medias-flawed-coverage-of-it/
"I mean, who in their right mind would keep classified documents at their personal residence in an improper manner?
Contrary to the WaPo's anonymous source they're not classified, and every single ex-president before his Presidential Library is built keeps the documents at their personal residence.
Also a safe isn't an "improper manner", you silly fuck.
Guys: Ernesto is doing parody
Though I'll admit it's pretty much identical to what leftists actually say.
Phrasing is the only tell.
Thanks - the last sentence seems a better "tell" that it is a parody.
That's what I mean. He always adds a line, or words it in a way, that is just right on the nose.
It's pretty good. Will be a good partner for OBL if he keeps at it.
Dammit.
I suspected as much. Really the handle gives it away.
Anna Wolkoff? Walter Simon? Kurt ludwig? Edmund Von Thurmann? Fritz Wiedemann? Karl Herman Schroetter? Edward Kerlig? Heinrich Heinck? Richard Quirin? Werner Thiel? Herbert Haupt, Herman Neubauer? Klaus Fuchs? Harry Gold? Bruno Pontecorvo? Theodore Hall? William Colepaugh? David Greenglass? Julius Rosenberg? Simon and Marie Koedel?
Yes.
After the former president dismissed the allegation as a "hoax," multiple sources now report that investigators found top secret and classified documents at Mar-a-Lago.
And given the unimpeachable history of "multiple sources" reporting on Trump malfeasance, I think we can all rest easy that justice is being done.
Don't you think it's time to just stop?
Lol
Poor Tony. Stay mad.
How the fuck could I possibly be mad right now?
I'm concerned that I will have to witness an undignified spectacle, that's all.
Only if you watch your sky screeming in the mirror.
Yes, Garland, Biden, and their supporters (including you) are making fools of themselves.
And if you think that this hurts Trump, you really are an imbecile. I never particularly liked the man and haven't voted in years, but at this point, if he runs, I may well vote for him just to stick it to the Democrats and people like you. You really are vile.
Oh it's a spectacle alright, Tony.
Yes. I do wish the media would, Tony.
So Tony are you saying that "multiple sources" never lie about Trump? The only evidence you have is media anonymous sources. Well Tony I hear you're really Trump, pretending to be so stupid that Reasonites start defending him against you. Multiple sources have told me so.
It also really should be noted that what he called a hoax was that he possessed nuclear secrets, not that he possessed "top secret and classified documents". Those "multiple sources" in no way contradict what he said.
Libertarian commentary on the Trump raid.
The Trump raid and the unravelling of America | The spiked podcast
That podcast was excellent. Thanks for the tip.
This is me scratching my chin.
They probably used magic.
They looked at documents surrounding the raid, not the actual documents that the FBI were looking for. That's how they know how many boxes of unknown things were taken out.
It's basically worthless information being reported because it's the only information they have to report.
Excellent sourcing. Multiple sources that both admitted to not seeing the documents confirmed their contents.
'We finally got Trump!'
'Under what charges?'
'Can't tell you; secret stuff!'
'What secrets?'
'Can't tell you; it's all secret!'
The trial will be secret, except as reported by CNN/CBS/MSNBC
See how easy that is?
Politico noted that while Republicans have spent the week defending Trump, the newest revelations are causing splintering among the ranks. While many in the party's leadership are still forthrightly behind the former president and likely 2024 nominee, some are troubled by the potential national security implications of highly sensitive information being stored at a resort, which even during Trump's presidency was infiltrated by trespassers.
Well, I guess to be fair, we wouldn't want these documents to fall into the hands of the #Resistance.
"some are troubled by the potential national security implications of highly sensitive information being stored at a resort"
When they find out that the WaPo's tale was hot garbage, I wonder how they plan to spin this.
I think "nuclear weapons secrets" likely refers to Trump and Kim discussing nuclear disarmament. If you are vague enough, you can spin anything as anything.
My sources say it’s a copy of a drawing Netanyahu gifted to the White House after a certain UN speech
Or perhaps Trump and Kim discussing the difference between 'nuclear' and 'extended' families; the FBI hasn't shown what normal folks consider "intelligence" in a while.
Biden decided this was a good week to go after one of the largest churches tied to conservatives.
https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-biden-admin-launches-federal-investigation-into-southern-baptist-convention-church-says
Every charge in the warrant is completely unjustifed as the FBI was given access to every document they took back in June and did nothing. That is why they went to a partisan magistrate instead of a real judge. If the DOJ thought Trump was breaking the law by possessing these docs, why the hell didn't they take them in June?
Cynically speaking, midterms. The Dems are truly insane and think that this will save them from the electoral bloodbath awaiting them in November.
I'm eager to bet cash that the Positive Christian Prohibitionist girl-bulliers will get the same treatment that so surprised them in 2008, 2012 and 2020. Laws against gambling are the only reason there are still superstitious republicans able to afford gas.
Careful there, you’re projecting again.
If there were anything in your pile of shit understandable to someone familiar with the English language, I'd be happy to take your cash.
Fucking ignoramuses like you are famous for losing money betting on bad risks.
Did they really have them turn off the security cameras while searching? Why did they wait all this time to go get the documents if they suspected they were there?
It was too hot in Florida in June to remove the documents.
Repeat after me: booo hooo HOOOO! WAAAAAH!
Stub your little toe?
Fuck off and die, TDS-addled pile of shit,
The Derangement at “Reason” never ends. Trump just breaks peoples brains.
Orange man bad. So profound. ????
The real Positive Christian NSDAP movers and shakers at least had the good grace to hang and shoot themselves after May 9, 1945. There is a valuable lesson to be learned, and an altruistic example set by Christ, Der Fuhrer, Nip brainwashees at Saipan and the Rev. Jim Jones to name but a few.
Projection must be a bitch.
Hank, the raison d’etre for creating a sock is to create a challenge for everyone else to figure out the secret identity behind it. Calvin Coolidge could have created a darn better sock!
"...There is a valuable lesson to be learned, and an altruistic example set by Christ, Der Fuhrer, Nip brainwashees at Saipan and the Rev. Jim Jones to name but a few..."
As should you, TDS-addled shitpile.
Huh? They’re just recapping what has been reported the last couple of days.
Only selected parts of what has been reported. The one that is filled woth the democratic narrative.
I can hear him talking, now:
These behaviors and actions are not suspect enough for you? Wait until you see my fake news collection from advisers who would had been laughed off the stage to share these documents in public!
Not surprised. Germany's version of Positive Christianity's Hitler made appallingly idiotic decisions that killed a lot of pious suckered sycophants and conscripts. Which of the Trumpanzee commenter socks assigned to importune Reason readers turned out to be Ricky Shiffer?
Eat shit and die, TDS-addled asshole.

Melle Rant: The left has spent the last 12 hours calling for the execution of a former President, and "conservatives" think the problem is the people speculating on the FBI raid. People like Malor are smug assholes who apparently hate all the people who supported them
Give me ONE FUCKING good reason that the FBI and the DOJ get the benefit of the doubt in this. Was it their stellar "secret" warrant process. Was it the fact that the never "entrap" people for politics. Or is it their crack investigative skills that let Nassar run for years?
That's the whole point, credibility for govt agencies is at an all time low, and the current admin raided his former opponent's home and has not provided justification for.
Hell, THEY WON'T EVEN TAKE QUESTIONS.
So act like a fucking asshole about this, but we are in a dangerous time. It doesn't take Trump to stoke it either. And I know those fucking cocktail parties you go to don't understand what is happening, but please for the love of fuck try to at least listen.
Garland, Biden and Wray could stop this immediately. Even redacted, they could outlie the "probable cause" that led to this. Instead they leak shit, maybe in hopes of getting another warrant. Hey it worked for FISA.
But they want this. They want all the speculation that they will never have to prove, and fucking media ("Principled right media) has spent the last 12 hours pissing all over people who have good reason to distrust the federal government.
But hey I get it. Orange Hilter has to be stopped. If that means we break a few eggs, so be it. But just remember this- not all of Hitler's opponents were good. In fact, some of them were despotic assholes.
In summary, hating Trump doesn't make you the "good guy." It just makes you a "useful idiot" willing to piss all over everything you said you held dear to get that "once in a lifetime existential threat." More power to you. I truly hope they eat you last.

THREAD: Search warrant & schedules has been bristling me & I finally figured out why--we are getting lost in what was taken & what was listed as susceptible to seizure & NOT the criminal provisions on which warrant was based. I'm still ruminating here, but what I see is NONE 1/
2/ of the three criminal statutes used to justify the search require materials to be "classified". Yet, both NY Times & Washington Post directed everyone to idea of Trump keeping classified info & list of what was taken highlighted that too. But look at the three statues:

With the recent FBI raid on Donald Trump’s Florida home, the Democrats and the Biden administration have raised the political stakes to a level from which this country as we have known it may never return. All one can say to those that are demanding a criminal prosecution of the former president is: Be careful what you wish for; you just might get it.
So because Trumpsuckers think he's above the law, it would be the Democrats' fault for showing that he isn't. Gottit.
You seem more uninformed than the person who wrote this article.
Who has derangement syndrome worse? ????????♂️
Eat shit and die, TDS-addled asshole.
FYI: this result is from June...
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/public-trust-fbi-plunging
Where 57 percent of U.S. adults said that the FBI was doing either an “excellent” or a “good” job in 2019, this fell to 44 percent in 2021.
When the Republicans refuse to nominate Trump in 2024, Trump will run on a third party and give us the Butigieg / Ocasio-Cortez ticket. All aboard the 16th Century Express.
Poor reporting like this makes me visit this site less and less. Hey Joe why don't you do your own investigation instead of spewing others poor reporting? Too often Reason is one small step above The Daily Brats or InfoWhores, this is one of them, The Top Secret and Class docs must be at the highest level for the Feds to wait from Feb 1, 2021 until Jan 2022 to want them back and 7 more months to do the raid.
“Hey Joe why don't you do your own investigation instead of spewing others poor reporting?”
Because he’s writing a quick blog post recapping the news, not reporting.
Trump returned a bunch of documents in March 2022. It has only been since then, at the longest, that they have been trying to get him to return the ones that were taken back via search warrant.
Maybe before criticizing Reason’s supposed lack of original reporting, you should familiarize yourself with what reporting there has already been.
The fbi was there in June. Saw the boxes. Asked them to put an extra lock on you fucking government simp.
They held off to August 8th, the date of Nixon's resignation. Totally coincidental, I'm sure.
Of course it’s totally coincidental, accusing Trump of being “worse than Nixon” while we have an administration that has an enemies list that would make Nixon blush.
Raiding your predecessor's house is banana republic level stuff. (Can we still say banana republic?)
There used to be a certain level of professional courtesy between outgoing and incoming crime family leaders.
“Can we still say Banana Republic?”
Can we still WEAR Banana Republc? That’s what I ant to know!
Don't share your banana with other monkeys.
When did paper pushers at the National Archives suddenly have authority to decide what is and is not presidential papers and when did the office of the President suddenly become subordinate to the Dept. of Justice?
President Trump declassified the documents prior to leaving office. I don't see how National Archives and Merrick Garland can just suddenly decide to reclassify them as "secret". Apparently, a whole new set of rules have been developed for the President who was in office from January 2017 to January 2021.
Spot on. ????
The one named Trump who continues to scare the shit out of the swap creatures; perhaps the population WILL look behind the curtain...
I am soooo glad Trump got elected at least once, because otherwise who would've believed shit like this went on? I wouldn't've believed it myself! Now it's like half the country (i.e. the Democrats) belongs in jail. If they don't go quietly, it's too late to handle things legally.
Not just the Democrats, but the never-Trumps too.
This might be a good thing in the long run. For so long it was only libertarians and similar minded "extremists" that opposed the deep state agencies. Now that the deep state seems to have revealed itself to be partisan, they're building opposition in a large voting pool.
Prediction: Republicans win in 2022 and 2024 and forget about all this shit when they have power, strengthen the deep state over whatever panic comes next and leave libertarians alone again.
Your prediction sounds like a history lesson.
Prediction: Republicans win in 2022 and 2024 and forget about all this shit when they have power, strengthen the deep state over whatever panic comes next and leave libertarians alone again.
Observation: The alternative of pretending like this is all legit and should *already* be ignored is a pretty objectively worse option.
Prediction: Even if this does push an opposition third party into the limelight it won't happen before Nov. and maybe not even before 2024.
Additional Prediction: Even if this does push an opposition 3rd party into the limelight by 2022 or 2024, by 2026, the opposition 3rd party will have a squish 'go along to get along'/'bake the cake' /'A 100 person VP panel on gun control sounds like a good idea' candidate as their 'leader'.
I agree on your observation. I don't think any 3rd party will be at all prominent in our lifetimes.
Quicktown, your Deep State fantasy handed the 2016 election to Trump when the FBI Director Comey announced 2 weeks before the vote that Hillary was under investigation - a later 538 analysis found that cost her 4% of the vote. Funny thing was that so was Trump and yet that was kept secret from voters - those facts are undeniable and cannot lead to any other conclusion than that supposed Deep State leader Comey handed Fatso the White House.
Deep state fantasy? I'm not arguing for some underground cabal. The deep (bureacratic state) is obvious and out in the open.
Not as obvious as the event i described above which is absolutely and irrefutably true and which explodes the fantasy that Trump is or was opposed by the very people who handed him the presidency. Care to explain how those events do not prove how wrong you are on this?
Comey waited until he (like nearly everyone else) was certain Clinton would win. Waiting until after the election would have been too obvious and (he thought) unnecessary.
Sure, except he didn't "wait", he acted pretty quickly after Weiner's possession of the laptop was discovered and that event gave him a perfect set up to announce Trump's investigation out of fairness to the 2 major candidates. He didn't which turns your Deep State into a fantasy that handed Trump the election. That is undeniable.
Sevo is incapable of anything but insults and they are anything but intelligent or clever, so don't take his posts as anything but a cry for help. Many of you here are similarly challenged and perhaps can commiserate on getting you ass kicked regularly by a centrist Democrat
PS Quicktown, since it is a fact that the FBI investigation of Trump was active and ongoing in October of 2016, why would the "Deep State" be wasting it's time on that if Hillary's win was a given? Why not announce the Trump investigation with Hillary's and be done with it?
Are you claiming that Comey intentionally timed his announcement to tip the election to Trump?
?? No. As I wrote in my response to you above: "Sure, except he didn't "wait", he acted pretty quickly after Weiner's possession of the laptop was discovered ..."
He could have waited or said nothing at all. The whole situation is bizarre, and hard to interpret, maybe more a sign of Comey going rogue or acting on unknown or selfish motivation. I don't see it as an argument against a deep state, certainly not conclusively.
Eat shit and die, Joe Asshole.
Do not engage Joe Asshole; simply reply with insults.
Not a one of his posts is worth refuting; like turd he lies and never does anything other than lie. If something in one of Joe Asshole’s posts is not a lie, it is there by mistake. Joe Asshole lies; it's what he does.
Joe Asshole is a psychopathic liar; he is too stupid to recognize the fact, but everybody knows it. You might just as well attempt to reason with or correct a random handful of mud as engage Joe Asshole.
Do not engage Joe Asshole; simply reply with insults; Joe Asshole deserves nothing other.
Eat shit and die, Asshole.
I've heard people say "Raiding a former President's home is Banana Republic shit" and while they're absolutely not wrong you wanna know what's more Banana Republic than that? The Intelligence Arm of the Fedgov essentially entrapping a former President.
Imagine if this weren't Trump but some Snowden/Winner/Manning nobody. They work with Top Secret documents for 4 yrs., 2 yrs. in, knowing they're leaving, they apply to have some of their work declassified through the appropriate channels and get a "We'll get back to you." And when I say "their work" I mean work they did that was paid for by the taxpayers. Then, 2 yrs. later, not having gotten a real response, they walk out taking their work with them. Their former employer says, "Whoops we let you walk out with some stuff that belongs to us. Please return it." to which they say, "Sure, here's what you asked for, come pick through the rest to make sure you've got everything you need." After which their former employer sends armed agents claiming they 'stole' their employers' property. It would've been bullshit if Google did it to James Damore. For the FBI and DOJ to do it to a sitting/former President is more Banana Republic than anything Trump did.
Gee. this is terrible. So a search warrant for classified docs which apparently were then found. What an outrage!
They don't do search warrants in banana republics you idiots, and until we get a reasonable explanation for why President "Doesn't listen to NS briefings or read anything" took home classified docs and stuck them next to the pool cleaning equipment, y'all should STFU too keep from looking like even bigger fools than most of the GOP leadership does today.
Giving your TDS more full faith and credit than it deserves, your assertion of "Not a Banana Republic" still fails:
Breaking News: Over the course of the last 6 yrs. it was revealed that the FBI allowed a Russian asset to win the White House and keep nuclear secrets stored next to pool cleaning equipment in his FL residence for over 18 mos. after his term!
You say if we keep talking, the GOP leadership will look like bigger fools like the current leadership isn't actively playing the fools right in front of us as their asserted truth/cover story.
That's not a response mad, but if you think an insult is, can you at least be clever or amusing?
Please explain how a search warrant for classified docs, apparently found upon executing said warrant, is something that they do in banana republics? That's what you claimed above.
Fuck off and die, lying pile of lefty shit.
When both the WSJ and Reuters have about the same story, it might be time to start considering that Trump may have gone over the line. Whether by intent (which I doubt) or carelessness or myopia, is uncertain, but I think there may be some fire causing the smoke.
(None of this rules out a corrupt DOJ or FBI - this is one case where they all can be wrong.)
Wow.
That's some enthusiastic servility right there.
"but I think there may be some fire causing the smoke."
Were you in a coma from 2015 to now?
Are you still in a coma?
None of this rules out a corrupt DOJ or FBI - this is one case where they all can be wrong.
Except even if Trump is wrong that's yet another case in the last 6 yrs. of the FBI/DOJ demonstrating they would have trouble pulling off a competent circus act, let alone defend truth, justice, and nuclear secrets.
It's possible that after 6 years of constant investigation, the swamp critters may have finally found some Trump 'process crimes' under which they will gleefully prosecute. If every prosecutor outside of Snake's Navel, ID were investigating me, for that time period, I promise they'd have found something by now.
But it seems several problems are obvious regarding this particular 'walls closing in' fishing expedition:
1) If those outlets do have 'about the same story', it sounds like it may have been from that famously accurate and credible Mr/Ms Anonymous Source - remember him/her?
2) I'll await definitive info (assuming we ever get it), but there are claims with cites that the POTUS has wide-ranging discretion regarding the handling and classification of nearly all such documents, and some cite an Obo on-air discussion, which public discussion automatically de-classifed it.
3) According to Trump, the material was held under the conditions agreed to between the parties, thereby keeping it from public release.
This ignores the heavy-handed tactics of the FBI, stinking to high heaven of political theater.
Trump's been assigned to 'the beginning of the end' many, many times since 2016, and every time so far, once the details end up under public scrutiny, well...
Remember Tony doing victory laps from Trump 'associates' being convicted of late parking ticket fines, until even a brain-dead lefty shit like him found it to be embarrassing?
Perhaps this time they'll get Trump on 'late return payments' for certain government documents. like a late library book return.
I'll wait for something other than Joe Asshole's pile of lies.
"...they'd have found something *on me* by now..."
Agree Ground, but also there is no evidence of a corrupt DOJ or FBI in any of this. Trump blew this event up, not the feds, and his unusual and inexplicable behavior triggered it.
Fuck off and die, Asshole.
Trump blew this event up
Did he use an AR-15? Because I hear they make deer explode.
Help me understand - why do so many of the Trump bots here turn around and pretend to be Mises Caucus types too on any thread where they can't DeRp?
LOL at jfree mimicking the "bot" label.
Poor little unloved dimwit.
OK, you're a fucking lefty ignoramus. That's the reason you need help understanding.
Aren't FBI part of the thin blue line, pro law enforcement and all that shit ?
New here? Very few here are supporters of police. But they understand that they are a necessary evil who must be disciplined like rabid dogs when they overstep.
TDS causes illusions as evidenced by the asshole sadhak.
The problem with republican party and the trump supporters is that even if FBI finds 12 kids imprisoned in Trump's basement they will come up with some defense one of them will be "Obama did it too" and then will crack some jokes about Biden's age, Kamala's p e n i s and Pelosi's husbands.
Leftists are literally cancer, and the inviolable law which rules their behavior: confession by projection.
TDS-addled lying piles of lefty shit, like this on, are to be ignored.
Fuck off and die, asshole.
For six years, Trump has been investigated for just about everything said and done. The NYT, WaPo, even the WSJ, have reported time and time again leaks from someone "familiar with his thinking" or "close to the the situation" accusing Trump of all types of crimes. Later we find out the not one thing in the accusation is true.
And, each time, people respond to those lies with "the walls are closing in". The DOJ and FBI have been caught in repeated lies and conspired with HRClinton to accuse Trump of colluding with Russia to win in 2016. But, this time you are going to believe them.
Talk about naive!
Cindy, educate yourself. The following is from the GOP majority Senate Intel Comm Report of Aug 2020 on the 2016 election, vol 5 (link at bottom):
"The Committee found that Russian President Vladimir Putin directed the hack-andleak campaign targeting the DNC, DCCC, and the Clinton Campaign. Moscow's intent was to damage the Clinton Campaign and tarnish what it expected might be a Clinton presidential administration, help the Trump Campaign after Trump became the presumptive Republican nominee, and generally undermine the U.S. democratic process. The Committee's findings are based on a variety of information, including raw intelligence reporting. ...
,,,In addition to publishing the stolen documents, the Russian personas used social engineering to seed information with specific individuals associated with the Trump Campaign. The GRU also relied on U.S. social media platforms and media attention for its influence operations. -WikiLeaks actively sought, and played, a key role in the Russian campaign and knew it was assisting a Russian intelligence influence effort. The Committee found significant indications that Julian Assan e and WikiLeaks have benefited from Russian government support
While the GRU and WikiLeaks were releasing hacked documents, the Trump Campaign sought to maximize the impact of those materials to aid Trump's electoral prospects. To do so, the Trump Campaign took actions to obtain advance notice about WikiLeaks releases of Clinton emails; took steps to obtain inside information about the content of releases once WikiLeaks began to publish stolen information; created messaging strategies to promote and share the materials in anticipation of and following their release; and encouraged further theft of information and continued leaks. (U) Trump and senior Campaign officials sought to obtain advance information about WikiLeaks through Roger Stone. In spring 2016, prior to Assange's public announcements, Stone advised the Campaign that WikiLeaks would be releasing materials harmful to Clinton. Following the July 22 DNC release, Trump and the Campaign believed that Roger Stone had known of the release and had inside access to WikiLeaks, and repeatedly communicated with Stone about WikiLeaks throughout the summer and fall of 2016. Trump and other senior Campaign officials specifically directed Stone to obtain information about upcoming document releases relating to Clinton and report back. At their direction, Stone took action to gain inside knowledge for the Campaign and shared his purported knowledge directly with Trump and senior Campaign officials on multiple occasions. Trump and the Campaign believed that Stone had inside information and expressed satisfaction that Stone's information suggested more releases would be forthcoming.
Some of the individuals the GRU targeted for outreach with the Gucci fer 2.0 persona were closely associated with the Trump Campaign, such as long-time Trump advisor Roger Stone.1249 On August 5, 2016, Stone penned an opinion piece asserting that Guccifer 2.0, not the Russians, had hacked the DNC, and repeating the false claims made by the GRU on the Guccifer 2.0 website and Twitter account.12
In addition to disseminating hacked materials through its own personas, the GRU gave information to WikiLeaks as part of a joint effort to secure wider distribution of stolen DNC documents and John Podesta emails. WikiLeaks opted to release those materials, first on July 22 and later on an ongoing basis between October 7 and the election. WikiLeaks also actively solicited and then released the documents for maximum effect, despite mounting evidence that they had been stolen by Russian government hackers. Notably, this was not the first instance that WikiLeaks had taken actions for the purpose of harming U.S. interests. Nor is it the only instance of contact between the Russian government and WikiLeaks, which have a history of parallel and sometimes coordinated actions in attacking U.S. institutions.
The Russian government has pursued a relationship with Julian Assange and WikiLeaks that includes formal partnerships with state-owned media platforms, government assistance for WikiLeaks associates and sources, and information sharing. This relationship has existed since at least 2012 and reflects an alignment between the Russian government and WikiLeaks in seeking to undermine U.S. institutions and security. (U) RT (formerly Russia Today) has provided both beneficial coverage ofWikiLeaks and a formal, compensated media platform for Assange. RT first signed a contract with Assange
(U) While the GRU and WikiLeaks were coordinating the release of hacked pNC, DCCC, and Podesta documents, Trump and senior Campaign officials sought information relating to "missing" Hillary Clinton emails as part of the Campaign's opposition research and press strategies. Beginning in April or May 2016, Roger Stone repeatedly cc;mveyed to Trump and senior Campaign staff that WikiLeaks would be releasing information damaging to Clinton. After the July 22 WikiLeaks release, Trump and senior Campaign officials believed Stone had access to non-public information about WikiLeaks' s ability and intent to release emails harmful to Clinton. (U) Thereafter, Trump directed Campaign officials to stay in touch with Roger Stone about future WikiLeaks activities regarding Clinton-related emails. Manafort in tum tasked Stone to contact Julian Assange, and Stone endeavored to reach Assange through several intermediaries. Stone reported back to senior Campaign officials and· associates, and to Trump directly, and provided advance informatio~ about another expected release relating to John Podesta, which he said would be damaging to Clinton. After WikiLeaks published the Podesta emails on October 7, Trump and the Campaign believed Stone had again acquired accurate, nonpublic information. The Committee could not reliably trace the provision of non-public information from WikiLeaks to Stone, and as a result. could not evaluate the full scope of Stone's non-public knowledge of WikiLeaks's activities. (U) The Trump Campaign strategically monitored and promoted the WikiLeaks releases of John Podesta's emails from October 7 until the· election.• The Campaign tried to cast doubton the October 7 joint DHS/ODNT assessment formally attributing the activity to Russia, and was indifferent to the significance of acquiring, promoting, or disseminating materials from a Russian intelligence services hack-and-leak campaign.....
...At approximately 4:32 p.m. on October 7-approximately 32 minutes after the release of the Access Hollywood tape-WikiLeaks released 2,050 emails that the GRU had stolen from John Podesta, repeatedly announcing the leak on Twitter and linking to a searchable archive of the documents.1677
Corsi said that after the October 7 WikiLeaks release, he and Stone agreed that they deserve.d credit and that."Trump should reward us."1682 However, Corsi said that Stone was concerned about having advance information about the Podesta release, and that Stone recruited . Corsi to make sure no one knew Stone had advance knowledge of that information. After the October 7 release, Corsi claimed that Stone directed him to delete emails relating to the Podesta information.1683 As outlined in his indictment and presented at trial, in subsequent congressional testim~ny to the HPSCI, Stone hid his communications with Corsi about WikiLeaks, and instead identified Credico as his intermediary; he also concealed communications he made directing both Corsi and Credico to obtain advance information about future WikiLeaks releases; and he made misleading and false statements about his communications with the Trump Campaign and individuals associated with the Campaign.1684 Following this testimony, Corsi said that Stone directed him to "stick to the plan"; Stone also threatened Credico to prevent him from testifying · to HPSCI and contradicting Stone's story.....
Trump, in written responses to the SCO, stated: "I do not recall discussing WikiLeaks with [Stone], nor do I recall being aware of Mr. Stone having discussed WikiLeaks. with individuals associated with my campaign."1624 Trump further claimed that he had "no recollection of the specifics of any conversations I had with Mr. Stone between June 1, 2016 and November 8, 2016."1625 Despite Trump's recollection, the Committee ass~sses that Trump did, in fact, speak with Stone about WikiLeaks and with members of his Campaign about Stone's access to WikiLeaks on multiple occasions. ...
...Despite the contemporaneous statement by the U.S. Government warning of Russian responsibility for the hacking and leaking of the DNC, DCCC, and Clinton Campaign documents and emails, the Trump Campaign considered the release of these materials to be its "October surprise."1691 ....
...While the Campaign was using the WikiLeaks documents, Trump cast doubt on the assessment that Russian government hackers were responsible for the hack-and-leak campaign. ..."
There's much more.

Joe Asshole, fuck off and die.
There are no "newest revelations".
It is all up in the air and in flux.
Only "Anonymous Sources" cited for anything more substantive.
Reason's TDS is showing again.
Reporters here really want Dem Washington DC cocktails parties still beckoning.
The Department of "Just-us" and the FBI are extremely militaristic and totally corrupt as are the laws congress enacted and that the DOJ/ FBI enforce. We already gave all our classified secrets the the world via the Clintons in the 90's. I wouldn't Trust congress, the DOJ, The FBI or the media. All the above have proven to be highly politicized and totally unreliable when it comes to truth and justice.
Found of planted? They made sure Trump was gone, no one was watching, his lawyer weren't notified. They said he might destroy the documents even though he was cooperating with them, but they they WAITED two weeks to preform the raid, and even shut off the CCTV cameras. It is not like they have not made and altered evidence before to get Trump before this incident. Remember the fake Steele dossier? The skillfully edited videos to change the intent of what was said or happened on Jan. 6th? The text message with the text changed? The entrapment in the Michigan governor hoax?
Why would anyone trust the current FBI? Also because they were stamped does not mean they are, they could have been declassified at an earlier date and no new document released.
My god, I think I am reading the HuffPo here!
The DOJ and FBI have crushed their own credibility. Now no attorney present, no cameras, refusing to allow a special master to review what they were taking all throws more doubt on the DOJ not on Trump. Sounds more like a frame up just like the Russia collusion hoax. They have a long way to prove the claims are credible, no good reason to believe them.
