So what part of that is allegedly false? Are they now maintaining they are not in Ukraine at all? As in a sort of “We have always been at war with East Asia/We have never been at war with Ukraine” kind of thing?

The guy said he “believes all efforts should be aimed only at stopping the war…” you can try to make a case for why stopping the war is a bad idea because it’s justified or the right thing to do or whatever, but it makes no sense to argue that he doesn’t believe the war should stop when he clearly does believe that. They are seriously suggesting he secretly does support the war and is lying about what he believes?
