Brickbat: All Inclusive

California Democratic Assemblywoman Buffy Wicks has introduced a bill that would order all businesses in the state to require their employees and independent contractors to be vaccinated for COVID-19. New hires would have to get at least one dose before they can start work. They would have to get the second dose no more than 45 days after starting work. The bill does not allow testing for COVID-19 as an alternative to the vaccine. The penalties for businesses who don't comply haven't been determined.

Geez. Is Big Pharma donating that far down the food chain?
Her nickname could be/probably is “Buffy the Business Slayer.”
Also—would.
Assuming Wicks is the one getting the jab in that photo.
“Buffy the Business Slayer.” (And job slayer as well, of course).
Good job, good jab, good jibe, good jive!
In any event, she's pleased to meet you.

One of Reason's style guidelines is that the photo can NEVER relate to the actual story.
Aren't people who force you to do something with your body you don't want to called traffickers?
Ah, breaker one-nine, this here's the Rubber Duck.
The state version of OSHA tried this last year, and was shouted down by California business owners. No one is going to accept this now when the pandemic is fading.
It's true that people and businesses are not going to accept this and that public support for these types of things are thankfully waning but saying that the pandemic is fading seems to be a bit of a stretch.
March 2020 called...
Buffy Wicks was famous for being crazy for Obama yes?
When I was in school back in the dark ages, we were taught about "moral relativity". The upshot of idea is that stuff is moral if you want it to be, immoral if you don't.
Modern progressives have taken this to heart. They can pick and choose what they get to call a sin, and no one is allowed to question them on it. It's their body and their choice, but NOT your body and your choice. Fuck principles, it's all about the feelz!
vaccinations are different, because fuck you that's why.
And you voted for it.
