Brickbat: A Little Off the Top

Barber Brennon Jones has been giving free haircuts to the homeless in Philadelphia for years, and even made national headlines in 2017 for his charitable efforts. But recently a police officer tried to shut him down. The cop said his sergeant wanted Jones to stop cutting hair and leave the area. But when Jones said he was going to call the mayor, the officer made a call and came back and said Jones just needed to make sure to clean up the hair when he was finished.

Decency in Filthadelphia: Hair today; gone tomorrow.
Good thing that when Jones mentioned his relationship with the mayor, the cop took the time to call someone and check. Otherwise, with Jones refusing to immediately comply, the situation could have gotten hairy.
RULE. OF. LAW.
You coudln't ask for a nicer threat. See you later, bub.
This may be splitting hairs, but...
I want to know, are those shiftless no-good mooching BUMS (the homeless getting free haircuts) paying taxes on their "imputed income"?!!?!?
Probably not; but now you have brought it up, they may file taxes and claim that imputed income in order to receive the Earned Income Credit of several hundred dollars.
Everything ended well because no one got tasered in the balls.
I dunno, I think the cop getting tasered in the balls would have been an even better ending.
