Brickbat: Edray Ulletmay, Eambray and Other Fine Fish

European Union inspectors have fined fishmongers in Vieux-Port, France, thousands of euros for not listing the scientific names of the fish they have for sale on their stalls. EU rules say that both the common name and the scientific name must be shown when fish are for sale.

Gee, is it any wonder countries are looking to get out of that mess. The whole idea of a unified Europe sounds good to me - they are probably less likely to invade each other with troops and bombs if they are more interconnected - but the EU goes fucking overboard with shit like this, and they are their own worst enemy.
So goes all overly empowered governments. It just keeps expanding until it explodes. Like flatulence.
