In California, the Berkeley Unified School District has placed on leave history teacher Alex Angell for bringing a deactivated bazooka to school. Video shot by a student shows Angell, who teaches advanced placement United States and world history at Berkeley High School, with the device, explaining how it was used.

That image is not a bazooka. That is a rocket propelled grenade (RPG). The image of the soldier holding one, in the linked article, IS a bazooka.
FYI: All bazookas are rocket launchers. Not all rocket launchers are bazookas.

Update, April 24, 10:30 a.m. Nearly two weeks after he showed students a historic weapon and was placed on leave, Berkeley High history teacher Alex Angell has come back to work, said an administrator in an email to parents Tuesday morning.

"Mr. Angell returns to school today to resume his normal teaching schedule," said the email from Vice Principal Felicia Phillips.

From the comments, this guy is a favorite teacher and an angry internet mob scared the functionaries into letting the guy escape the social justice guillotine.

I had a teacher bring in a Nazi flag that a WWII soldier had brought back from the gates of Nuremberg. and this was in California in the 90s. Dude would be summarily executed these days.
