The Federal Communications Commission is expected to vote today on whether to end "net neutrality" rules enacted by the Obama administration
Our last day before we're throttled to death!
Hello.
See, Rufus already hit his daily Internet usage limit. Poor Canada,
Fuck it still isn't over? And I thought I was sick of Roy Moore. Can we do a recount in Alabama or something to drag that one out just one more day?
The Walt Disney Company announced Thursday that it has acquired the majority of assets from 21st Century Fox.
The Marvel Universe! What does this mean for the Marvel Universe?!?
Jar Jar Binks will be inducted into the Guardians of the Galaxy?
Which will end up in a Galaxy wide reign of terror, yep, that sounds correct.
I thought he was the secret identity of Snoke?
MEESA GROOT!
The top Google searches of 2017 were Hurricane Irma, iPhone 8, iPhone X, Matt Lauer, and Meghan Markle.
Poor Trump, only one of those was caused by him.
His ratings recently are terrible.
My question is whether or not he will be offended if informed that he was not among the top Google searches.
I'm pretty sure he is going ape shit right now.
His ratings were always terrible, yet he got elected. It must be something other than the media's polls.
google overestimating likely clickers.
An Ohio bill banning abortion if the fetus has down syndrome now awaits Gov. John Kasich's signature.
Locking down the Down Syndrome vote.
Which Kasich already had.
He's down with that.
Don't fetus your jokes.
How can we achieve a Master Race with DS people running around?
Morgan Spurlock, the documentary filmmaker best known for Super Size Me, has confessed to being "part of the problem,"...
Also he may have raped someone.
D.C. is considering a rule requiring all child-care workers to have a college degree.
Every 14-year-old-girl: "Shit."
Quebec has this. My best workers sometimes are the ones who don't have one while the others get the chunk of wages (because government artificially pumps it up).
Go figure.
Well, Quebec is the Western Hemisphere's paragon of righteous governance. It is known.
Yet, not as bad (except for the fact the unions still hold power here) as California. In fact, Cal is a bad influence on Quebec. Every time a stupid law/proposal/bill based on faulty premise is tabled Cal is usually the source of the bad idea.
Such is the weight that state carries on the continent.
Canadian leadership has a direct line to Governor Moonbeam for suggestions? Yikes!
You know how it goes with lefties. 'In Scandinavia they' or 'In California they...(insert trend here)'.
Quebec nationalist/lefties want a Scandinavia model without the capitalism.
I want a hot Scandinavian model too. She better follow Odin too.
I once met a man from Quebec....
I'm in Quebec this week. It's way too cold for someone from the South. But watching the snow fall for 24 hours was nice. At least from inside.
Followed after by legislation to subsidize xgild xare because its expense is holding women back from professional advancement in the lobbying firms.
So having a college degree means you are qualified to babysit?
I'm just glad SOMEONE is finally doing SOMETHING about high child care costs.
Tony Weiner is hoping they compensate for the lost income by selling him pics.
...detailing a settlement over a rape accusation from when he was in college.
Money can pave over the trauma? That's a new wrinkle.
Where my reasonable filter gone?
Without reasonable, I feel naked; and alone. In the dark.
TreasonNN has turned it's sights on helpful add ons.
It first happened sometime last night. You can see Me cry out in anguish in a thread last night about it.
Sucks.
Working fine for me in Chromium 62
D.C. is considering a rule requiring all child-care workers to have a college degree.
But no license? Obviously DC politicians don't care about children.
You know what else a sheepskin can be used for?
...following allegations that the former pastor sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl in the basement of a church.
I must be reading the wrong bible.
Yeah, I know. Should have paid his thirty pieces of silver and for a new bride.
The Walt Disney Company announced Thursday that it has acquired the majority of assets from 21st Century Fox.
Now instead of yanking new tv series from one night to the next and airing the episodes out of order they'll just add wise-cracking cgi characters.
Oh no! What will happen when Rainbow Unicorn Free Stuff is repealed?
I have to give someone huge credit for labelling the application of mid 20th century telephone regulations as "Net Neutrality".
One more day till we have to go back to the horrors of pre-2016 internet...
And actress Salma Hayek, writing in The New York Times, says Harvey Weinstein told her: "I will kill you, don't think I can't."
Thank God he's getting rehab.
The Federal Communications Commission is expected to vote today on whether to end "net neutrality" rules enacted by the Obama administration in 2015.
WILL THERE EVEN BE AN INTERNET LEFT TO TELL US IF IT'S REPEALED??
D.C. is considering a rule requiring all child-care workers to have a college degree.
Finally, Theater Arts and English Lit majors can put their degrees to use.
Roy Moore goes full retard, declares holy war:
Roy Moore turns refusal to concede into religious crusade: 'Immorality sweeps over the land'
Roy Moore is a lunatic? Who knew?
Not 48.8% of the voters in Alabama, apparently.
I hate to be the one to tell you, but 49% of people are crazier than average.
That's not necessarily true. Not if the the crazy distribution is not normal.
What is true is 49% of people are crazier than median.
To be fair, he got less than 49% the votes Trump got. Hundreds of thousands refused to vote. That is an entirely valid option. 13% of Alabamans actually voted for Roy Moore.
There you go. The number of people who voted for Moore are safely beyond one deviation from the craziness norm.
More likely, they *approved* of his brand of insanity.
Who is going to nail the 10 commandments to the front of the Hart Senate Office building now?
Roy Moore's now free this weekend.
"Roy Moore goes full retard, declares holy war:"
So the left will now be supporting him since he falls in line with the holy warriors of Islam?
Reason Magazine needs to hire Russians to run their fundraising campaign. Just look at the results!!!
Though I am not sure what "Russian Linked" means, possibly Vodka was detected in the ads?

They were only able to do so under the 2015 OIO/Net Neutrality rules. Putin wouldn't have been able to have interfered in our elections under old free markets rulesets...
Young Turks reporter
These don't exist. Propagandists tho...
D.C. is considering a rule requiring all child-care workers to have a college degree
As if child care isn't expensive enough already.
Takes care of youth unemployment and child-care prices. Two birds one stone.
oh wait...
I'M BORED.
Naked Man Jumps Onto Moving Truck Near Dulles Airport
I agree - these sex links are terrible. At least we still have backpage to see Who is being sex trafficked today.
I'm not certain if "naked man rides truck" is what the term "sex trafficking" usually entails.
D.C. is considering a rule requiring all child-care workers to have a college degree.
One thing we know is that college is great for teaching kids to be grounded, realistic, rational, and knowledgeable.
Ohio man tried to trade chicken Alfredo, Sprite for sex with minor: police
Everything about this story is sad.
I teared up at "Ohio man tried..." and couldn't get any farther.
Bringing leftovers is Alpha.
Robert's getting desperate.
Companies Hit by Sex Misconduct Target the Dreaded Holiday Party
Fuck all yalls - I'm still going to place my bottom on the copy machine.
Explain to HR that it's a poop thing, not a sex thing, and you're fine.
Someone got paid for this: 7 Christmas Sex Positions You Have To Try During The Holidays
Pretty sure that article is considered sex trafficking now.
I'm certain someone with a masochistic streak snuck in as a Cosmo sex writer years ago.
WE MUST DO SOMETHING ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE!!!!
"Sierra peaks an inch taller after California drought, NASA finds"
[...]
"A study by NASA scientists published Wednesday found that the granite peaks of the 400-mile range were pushed nearly an inch upward between 2011 and 2015, a phenomenon linked not only to known tectonic forces but the expansion of the land as it dried out and shed water weight."

Mountains must be exactly at the proper height or we're all gonna die!
You laugh, but once mountain puberty really starts and the Sierra Nevadas start jerking off all over the San Francisco peaks it won't be funny no more.
That's not snow on the Grand Tetons.

D.C. is considering a rule requiring all child-care workers to have a college degree.
Fun fact: I have a college degree.
Leave your children alone with me. Do it.
The Federal Communications Commission is expected to vote today on whether to end "net neutrality" rules enacted by the Obama administration in 2015.
But I don't wanna pay more to download pirated videos!
This was a fun tweet thread, but kinda ruined by the earnest epilogue:
Yes, your ISP is going to make you pay for tweets. TEXT TO SAVE US ALL
Paying for tweets?
Ajit Pai wants to make us all into Anne Franks.
The joke's on them. No one can remember phone numbers anymore. All the Net Neutrality fans just accidentally donated $10 to the Red Cross for hurricane relief!
The top Google searches of 2017 were Hurricane Irma, iPhone 8, iPhone X, Matt Lauer, and Meghan Markle.
I still like to think that iPhone 9 was a failed human-phone hybrid that got loose and killed its creators. All files and records were disposed of and they skipped right to iPhone X. Nobody is allowed to talk about what happened to iPhone 9.
In a shallow grave next to Windows 9
iPhone7 ate Nine?
The Walt Disney Company announced Thursday that it has acquired the majority of assets from 21st Century Fox.
That's unfortunate. I like Fox, while Disney seems to be emulating EA in buying up studios and making them as bland as possible.
Huh. I wonder if Disney will pull Fox content from Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, etc.?
That looks like a big motivation, as Disney's putting out their own streaming service soon.
"Morgan Spurlock, the documentary filmmaker best known for Super Size Me, has confessed to being "part of the problem""
Just to show you proles how terrible sexual assault is, Morgan is going to rape 1 woman a day for a 30-day period. It will then be determined that corporations are to blame.
He already raped my eyes with his phony righteousness. Does that count?
That and no one at all has ever been able to reproduce his 'experiment'. Judging from the 'documentary' I think his girlfriend/wife/vegan almost killed him with her bullshit cooking so when he ate meat again his body simply didn't know what the fuck to do with it.
The Walt Disney Company announced Thursday that it has acquired the majority of assets from 21st Century Fox.
Coming soon, more terrible revenue sharing deal's for local theatre's!
"An Ohio bill banning abortion if the fetus has down syndrome now awaits Gov. John Kasich's signature."
Whatever your stance on abortion, I think it's safe to say that they haven't thought this one through.
Previously it seemed that it was phrased that you couldn't have Down Syndrome be the reason for the abortion. That seemed like a relatively unoffensive bit of symbolism since you could just say any reason for the abortion.
This is a whole new silly thing and seems undefendable if abortion is allowed in general cases in the state.
Eugenics never goes out of style.
Yeah, since it isn't explicitly a ban on aborting DS children period it seems purely symbolic.
"Why no, I'm not aborting this child because it's got DS! I'm doing it because I'm lazy and don't want to stop smoking for 9 months!"
That was supposed to read 'wasn't' rather than 'isn't' since it appears this bill IS an explicit ban.
Of course, that seems pretty fucked up since this is literally one of the pros for abortion in that you can just rid yourself of a defective child that was going to cost you shit tons of money over and above what a healthy non-defective child would cost.
It's not even eugenics, though, since even if you aborted every DS child the gene will still be carried forward. It can't be 'exterminated' as a matter of genetics.
I mean, once you've established that the basis for legal abortion is to give women a choice you can't then turn around and circumscribe that choice only in certain circumstances where you think it's 'icky' rather than some actual violation of natural rights.
At that point, your entire rational basis for having it in the first place is moot. I mean, are we trying to say that DS fetuses are more aware than non-DS fetuses at the same point in their development? Sheesh. Talk about 'anti-science feel good legislation'.
It IS a small world after all!
