  1. Colin Kaepernick has filed a labor grievance, alleging that NFL owners colluded to keep him off any team.

AND THE PLAYERS ARE COLLUDING AGAINST TEH COUNTRY

    1. The league should just show the arbitrator the game film of December 4, 2016 where he went 1 out of 5 for 4 yards before basically tapping out.

    2. Hello.

So a man who founded Hustler – a magazine that feminists probably see as exploitation or misogynistic – is going after Trump?

      Huh.

      1. And?

        1. Politics makes strange…bedfellows.

    3. I’M A VICTIM! WORSHIP ME!

      1. No question that Team Paperneck is going to make the standard argument that every football fan has probably heard a million times over the last few weeks: “How can complete worthless bums like Matt Cassel still have a job and he doesn’t?”

The answer is that Paperneck’s selfish, me first, shitty-ass garbage attitude has as much to do with teams not wanting him as his general lack of passing ability. And it goes way beyond the anthem crap. It’s universally known throughout the entire league that he’s uncoachable and has a lousy work ethic and desire to improve.

        1. It is almost as if NFL coaches and owners have similar opinions even when they don’t actively collude.

They could also show the Tweets from his girlfriend insulting the Ravens when they were negotiating with him.

I’d be intrigued how a judge could force a team to sign him.

          1. Perhaps he’s looking for some kind of payout? I agree, how can a judge order a team to sign him, especially when that would necessarily force another player out of a job.

    4. A player who lost his starting position due to poor production, who refused any offer that was not starter position and money and who has made himself an anti-box office draw? Yeah, the reason you do not have a job is everybody conspiring against you (sarc).

  2. Larry Flynt is offering $10 million for information that leads to Trump’s impeachment.

    That’s an expensive blue dress.

    1. Isn’t Trump a Democrat?

      1. He was for the Democrats before he was against them.

  3. The anti-immigration People’s Party’s Sebastian Kurtz, 31, will become the youngest ever chancellor of Austria after his party’s election victory.

You know who else was young and appealing?

    1. Kirstie Alley?

    2. Lena Dunham’s little sister, apparently?

    3. Tell us, Harvey.

    4. Kathleen Turner?

    5. Sally Struthers?

      1. Ugh. She looks exactly like a terrifying woman who went to my church when i was a kid.

      2. Ugh. She looks exactly like a terrifying woman who went to my church when i was a kid.

        1. She scares the squirrels, too.

          1. The other day, a squirrel looked like he might run into the garage, so I chased him away. He ran up the nearest tree and proceeded to raise the biggest racket I’ve ever heard a squirrel make. He kept chittering and squealing for a good ten minutes, long after I went inside. Something tells me this squirrel is not gonna make it through the winter, with a temper like that.

            1. Hihn’s survived 1000 winter’s so far. I’m sure he can stand one more.

        2. How about something a bite more NSFW?

(In the sense that 1980s Playboy covers may be NSFW)

          1. Would (in 1983)

    6. I suppose, once they stop immigration and realize they still have problems, they could cast about for an ethnic minority to scapegoat. Let’s see which ethnic minority could the Austrians choose?

      1. Might be less migrant crime though.

  4. A truck bomb in Mogadishu has killed at least 276 people, according to the Somali government.

Another violent act by those alt-right libertarians!

    1. I guess the don’t practice the non-aggression principal over in Somali-libertarian land.

      1. May be it was just an explosives delivery that went wrong because someone refused to pay for delivery insurance and there is no government regulatory agency to oversee explosives. Isn’t that how things would work in libertopia?

    2. According to the what, now?

    3. A truck bomb? How did it get there. I thought there were no roads in that libertarian paradise.

      1. Hover truck. Somalia is the future.

        1. Wakanda?

    4. Despite my libertarian criticism of the U.S. government, I’m thankful to live here rather than a place like Mogadishu on a *good* day. When something like this happens, my heart goes out to those innocents who live in an atmosphere I can only imagine.

  5. The lawyers for one of the women who has accused Donald Trump of sexual assault have subpoenaed the Trump presidential campaign for all documents and communications related to her.

They’re all out there in the former candidate’s Twitter feed.

    1. Most transparent campaign/administration ever.

    2. Am I hallucinating? I thought there was a law banning suits against the President (otherwise he’d be constantly I’m court).

      1. Sounds like they’re suing his campaign – whatever that means. I would read the article but it has a auto-video.

      2. Well, I guess you forgot all about Bill Clinton being put under oath in some type of legal proceeding while in office.

      3. How about a law banning suits ON a President? You wanna be the most powerful man in the world? Deliver your speeches in underwear.

    3. Am I hallucinating? I thought there was a law banning suits against the President (otherwise he’d be constantly I’m court).

      1. No. SCOTUS ruled in Clinton v. Jones (1997) that the President can be sued for unofficial acts except under extreme circumstances. Clinton’s claim of exemption under the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Civil Relief Act was also rejected.

  6. State Senate President Kevin de Leon will challenge Dianne Feinstein in the 2018 Senate election.

Apparently there’s not enough money in being in the state senate.

  7. “Colin Kaepernick has filed a labor grievance, alleging that NFL owners colluded to keep him off any team.”

Is this what you do when you suck at your job now?

    1. I’d think that the fact that owners are allowing dozens of other players to take a knee would not be evidence helpful to his claim.

  8. Larry Flynt – hero of the First Amendment and patriot.

    John hates him.

    1. “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”

    2. Here’s Larry “hero of the First Amendment” Flynt denouncing the Citizens United decision – “Unless something is done about this, the rich will be in control of our country from here on out.”

      1. PS – it took me half a minute to find this, based on a hunch that he seemed like a “free speech for me not thee” person.

        1. No shit.

        2. If free speech is determined by your net worth then yes, more free speech for the few and less for you.

        3. I suppose it is because he is part of “the press” and imagines he has special rights therefore.

          1. Benjamin Franklin could have schooled him on that – the press means the printing press – or by analogy, disseminating written work whether by journalistic outlets or not.

  9. Kaepernick doesn’t understand the concept of making his own bed does he?

The thing about him is he was already in decline (never mind about him opting out and then becoming a moronic SJW) he should have signalled to the league he was going to do what it takes to get himself ready or improve his game.

    Instead he doubled down.

And no, the Packers don’t need him. They have QB’s that know the offensive schemes already. They have Rodgers so there’s no need to bring him in.

    1. That new guy lit it up against the Vikings yesterday.

      1. Didn’t he have 3 ints?

    2. Was there any truth to those rumors that he actually did have offers, but that they were relatively small so he ignored them?

      1. I heard things including he wasn’t going to accept a back up role and if he did he wanted starting QB money.

But it’s just stuff floating out there.

        1. Which I presume his agent told him wasn’t going to happen?

    3. What does an unmanageable – if that is indeed that case – football player do?

In soccer-land they just palm you off on some smaller teams until eventually someone is willing to buy you.

      1. E.g. Balotelli ended up at Nice.

        1. You read my mind.

        2. Keep is more Adu than Balotelli.

      2. Canadian Football League.

  10. Why would the Kurds want independence for that flaming shit hole dumpster fire?

    1. What, Kirkuk? Because it’s sitting on top of an enormous oilfield.

  11. A truck bomb in Mogadishu has killed at least 276 people, according to the Somali government.
The armed forces in Iraq are attacking Kirkuk, in Iraqi Kurdistan
    MAGA!

    1. Shreek has been drinking sizzurp since dawn, apparently.

      1. He’s so nonintervention that he thinks the US should be managing hostilities in the Middle East.

      2. Didn’t he go full rape apologist?

        1. I can’t find the thread, but yes, he did.

        2. As opposed to partial rape apologist?

          1. Well, yeah. You don’t understand a hedging defense of a rapist being different than openly defending them? That seems difficult to believe.

          2. He said Harvey Weinstein doesn’t count as rape for several hours. Even when presented with many people describing his rape.

    2. Palin’s Buttplug|10.16.17 @ 9:26AM|#
“A truck bomb in Mogadishu has killed at least 276 people, according to the Somali government.
The armed forces in Iraq are attacking Kirkuk, in Iraqi Kurdistan MAGA!”

      Hey, turd!

  12. “In the ad, Flynt airs several grievances about Trump’s actions as president, including his firing of FBI director James Comey and his “gross nepotism and appointment of unqualified persons to high office.””

Pretty sure being a big poopyhead in the view of Flynt is not an impeachable offense.

  13. So does Fox News and Conservative media in general not realize that Donald Trump is Harvey Weinstein? In point of fact, if you were to list the allegations against both men side by side you would be hard pressed to know whose alleged sex offense was whose. Thus, if you’re let’s say supremely critical of Hillary Clinton for accepting campaign contributions from Weinstein then to maintain any semblance of impartiality and consistency you would likewise have to more forcefully criticize and condemn the entire Republican universe for endorsing and electing Trump to the presidency because accepting money from a sex offender is not as bad as electing one to represent your entire political party. Am I missing something here?

    1. “So does Fox News and Conservative media in general not realize that Donald Trump is Harvey Weinstein?”

Ya know, it’s been nearly a year since you and that miserable hag lost. Don’t you think it’s about time you grew the fuck up and got over it?

      1. Whenever I hear Hilary talk about how awful Trump is (no argument here!), I have to say to myself “…and you STILL lost to him!” All the stars aligned to give her the matchup she dreamt about – and she couldn’t close the deal.

Doesn’t she realize that when she laments about how awful he is, it only serves to remind people that she was the one person who could have “saved” the Republic and she failed.

    2. “In point of fact, if you were to list the allegations against both men side by side you would be hard pressed to know whose alleged sex offense was whose. ”

I think the difference is the evidence. The allegations themselves are meaningless, and the evidence is currently being presented, so this hot take is a bit premature.

    3. Why did the Democrat’s not realize the Trump’s were the Clinton’s when they embraced the idea to criticize Trump about his womanizing?

      1. Partisan politics rule #1, never blame your team for anything.

      Hmm, you misspelled Bill Clinton.

Trump’s tape simply said reality — if you’re famous, yes, women will let you do whatever you want to become successful.

  14. Does Larry Flynt even have $10 million any more? I thought the internet destroyed the porn mag business.

    1. He probably invested wisely in preparation for just such an emergency.

    2. He makes all his money on his casino now. It’s actually pretty nice. Just be careful about hanging around the streets of the surrounding neighborhood late at night with a lot of money in your pocket.

  15. Bowe Bergdahl pleads guilty to desertion.

Remember back when the media and Obama told us this dude was a hero, and invited him and his nutty father to the White House Lawn for a photo op? Goob job there bro.

In the old days, desertion in war was pretty much universally considered a firing squad offense. But the so-called “mainstream” media will no doubt scream bloody murder at a notion like that, so he’ll probably get off easy.

  16. Why does Flynt want Pence to be president?

  17. If the democrats had voted to impeach Clinton, Al Gore could have saved the world.

So global climate warming change is all their fault.

  18. A truck bomb in Mogadishu has killed at least 276 people, according to the Somali government.

Everyone is just so thankful they didn’t use guns, because that is the worst. Or so I’m told.

Starting to think that maybe having a lot of guns in the hands of civilians actually means fewer bombings and less death. It seems that firearms are the go-to for violence here in the U.S., which probably saves us civilian deaths in the long run. The amount of bombings in places with low gun ownership is concerning.

  19. Is he saying that Larry Flynt won’t stand for Trump being President any longer?
