Compared to the shill pundits running the shows these days, Leno was probably the last real comedian late night host. There's a reason Kimmel hates his guts, and it's not because Leno wasn't funny, it was because he didn't become a bitter left-wing hack like Letterman did once he moved to CBS.

I know Leno gets a lot of hate for his power plays against Letterman and Conan, but when you look at the actual ratings, he was simply a better late night host for that time slot. Letterman parlayed the fallout over his conflict with Leno into an initial ratings bump on the Late Show before Leno proceeded to kick his ass for the next 20 years, while Conan's "smart-ass college newspaper writer" style of humor was never going to go over with the grey-hairs that watched the Tonight Show.

A county prosecutor in Minnesota is trying to change a state law that allows teachers to avoid criminal charges if a student with whom they have sexual relations is age 18 or older.

"Once a student turns 18, our law is silent. And I think that law should be changed," Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom told KARE 11.

Currently in Minnesota, even if the sexual contact happens on school grounds, as long as the student is 18 years old and the act is consensual, "it's not against the law," Backstrom said.

When a mother who suspected her 18-year-old son of having sex with a female teacher alerted authorities, she was informed by a detective that it "would not be criminal," citing the student's age, KARE 11 reported.

Dozens of men banned from county's parks due to rampant sex acts

More than 25 men who were caught on video performing "explicit sex acts in public," have been banned from all parks in Martin County, sheriff's officials say.

After receiving complaints about people openly having sex and naked men running along the boardwalk at Joe's River Park, 3500 NE Ocean Blvd., in Stuart, deputies set up hidden cameras, the sheriff's office said in a Facebook posting Wednesday.

The surveillance resulted in the arrest of 44 people for performing lewd sexual acts in public, the sheriff's office said.

The enforcement effort was dubbed "Operation Mangrove."

Now, 26 people have been given trespass warnings and another two dozen are expected to get the warnings soon. The warnings mean they can be arrested if spotted in any Martin County public park, sheriff's officials said.

According to officials, hidden cameras will be placed in any park where complaints are received about sexual acts taking place.

This has been an interesting conflict within the leftist community for decades. A lot of the anti-pornography activism of some feminists in the last 40 years was largely a reaction to the realization that the liberalization of sexual norms for many "left-wing" men, simply meant that those men considered them to be little more than fuck-toys, a tool to be used to subvert the traditional moral consensus of early-mid 20th century that placed family stability above individual hedonism. Their motivation boiled down to "Smash the white western racist patriarchy by being a raging slut!!", and it was only after a lot of these women were pumped and dumped that they started to recognized the disconnect.

Many of these same women, of course, want it both ways--the freedom to be a cum-dumpster when it suits them, while expecting men to treat them as equals and give them the same level of respect. The problem is that, unless you're a bonobo chimp, most males aren't going to view a woman who gives it up without much hesitation as an equal of any sort.

This isn't out of the realm of possibility. I've read some comments from someone worked there, and as they pointed out, Mandalay Bay is a massive hotel, with a labyrinthine network of underground tunnels that the workers travel though. As long as you look like you're there for work purposes, most people won't think twice about seeing a strange person wandering around. It wouldn't take someone with knowledge of the layout much effort to cause havoc and disappear before the police had time to get on site and engage, especially if the hotel doesn't lock down the elevators.
