Total BS. And I'm not afraid to say it.
Hello.
"The man responsible for 22 deaths at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester last night has been identified as Salman Abedi."
Hey, that doesn't sound Irish!
Damn Welshmen.
Couldn't be. Too many vowels.
Cllmunn AEpbuenndtee
President Trump called ISIS terrorists "losers."
More devastating than any MOAB.
Moab is full of losers.
Salon's Amanda Marcotte-
Stop right there.
Or there.
I stopped at "Robby Soave."
To gaze at the hair, of course.
It's like the gaze of the medusa, but instead of turning you to stone, it renders you immobile with hair envy.
Robby "Medusa" Soave. I bet it was his nickname in college.
Oh, it turned something to stone, all right.
This New Republic hit piece on Betsy DeVos suggests she's an even greater danger than Jeff Sessions.
She can literally throw our children in prison, the prison of underfunded public schools!
The sheer, unhinged limpouts over DeVos are some of the funniest shit that's taken place during Trump's presidency. You'd think a glorified administration cheerleader that did nothing more than cut checks for Head Start programs and Pell Grants, and has almost no effect on how school districts are run on the local level, was going to shut down the entire public school system and force all of our children to recite the Lord's Prayer.
That would be awesome.
The man responsible for 22 deaths at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester last night has been identified as Salman Abedi.
I hope he receives all the pleasures of Hell. Which level has the demons with spiked phallus'?
It truly takes a special kind of evil.
With bacon-wrapped shrimp on each spike.
The Crusty level?
U.S. plan to sell oil reserve shows declining import needs

That reserve is getting more strategic by the minute!
That link is so sexy.

I approve this message.

Did he vote Labour or Tory? How in the closet was he? WHERE ARE THE DETAILS WE ALL CRAVE?
He's a Briton, so he's just as British as Nigel Putley, a 73 yr old pensioner living next door.
Fox News removes false story on Seth Rich's murder -- six days after it was debunked
Cucks be afraid of the truth.
I'll wait for Mikey's hot take on how the Fox executives have been replaced by lizard people working for Hillary Clinton
Um, Jews run Fox News, so they are lizard people, but Jews do not work for Hillary Clinton, so you are half right.
[Stares helplessly at giant Mikey signal raging out of control, takes sip of beer, pisses on the fire]
Just because Fox retracts one of its idiotic right-wing conspiracy theories doesn't necessarily mean that the theory is bogus you leftist apologist.
Salon's Amanda Marcotte: "Tale of 2 hoaxes: The Seth Rich conspiracy theory and 'Conceptual Penis' prank both expose a fear of women's power."
Still surprised most here buy the "shot in the back for no reason" narrative.
I guess they never did find that leak in the DNC then. Was there even an investigation? They couldn't even find a patsie?
Still surprised most here buy the "shot in the back for no reason" narrative.
You are, really? Why? Most of the people here are Obama dick-sucking lefty members of the Clinta Nostra.
Still surprised most here buy the "shot in the back for no reason" narrative.
I certainly don't buy the whole conspiracy, but the "Left the bar a ~2 a.m. and took 2 hrs. to walk just short of 2 miles home, where he was shot in the back and not robbed... and nothing else happened." is pretty fucking terrible if only to criticize officers for sitting on their asses.
Imagine the shitstorm of an investigation that would ensue if the same thing happened to Flynn. Every Russian within a mile of the body having so much of a parking ticket would be investigated for ties to Putin and Trump within a week. And if it didn't, people would start setting things on fire until it did.
Woman, 19, who was wed just TWO WEEKS ago is arrested in Mississippi for 'having a threesome with male and female co-workers on open deck of a family bar'
What a lucky guy.
Exactly what I'd expect a Mississippi threesome to look like.
I thought a mississippi threesome requires two different kinds of farm animals.
I thought a mississippi threesome requires two different kinds of farm animals.
No, that's Vermont.
Common misconception. There's been a reformation. It does require two farm animals, but they need not be different species. It's all spelled out in the Mississippi Bestiality Simplification Act of 1966.
I was intrigued until I saw the pictures.
Story of my life.
Amy Hammers
I'll bet she does. I'll bet she does. Say no more. *nudge nudge*
...20 minutes later.
"Hancock"... Amiright?
Mississippi Threesome: good jug band name.
The bar is called Triple D's and he called the cops?
This New Republic hit piece on Betsy DeVos suggests she's an even greater danger than Jeff Sessions.
Well a lot of folks could not care less that some minorities will get mandatory minimumed up the ass.
Oh God, the DNC has gotten to Fox News! These sickos will stop at nothing!
Seriously now, why is nobody concerned that the DNC leak was never discovered if it isn't Seth Rich?
Seriously now, what leak?
As in there is no leak and it was all hacked data? I'm not opposed to that idea.
I don't know. You're asserting that there was a leak, and that the DNC knows that it was a leak.
Now if you'll excuse me, I must use the restroom.
Ugh, this conversations a bit too coy for me to follow along. You hold to the police report and narrative of, "3am robbery gone wrong, shot in the back, nothing stolen, nothing to see here"?
It's not implausible. But tell me do you think any US citizen has ever been assassinated on the authority of a US government official?
It's like one of the unmentionables of our society. To the point that I can't think of any US figure famous for being assassinated by the US... hard to believe when at the same time we full on topple governments abroad. Maybe the US government is simply that noble towards the citizenry; not the cops obviously, but the spooks.
It's not implausible. But tell me do you think any US citizen has ever been assassinated on the authority of a US government official?
Anwar al-Alwaki. What's my prize?
What's coy? You asserted some missing element in the story. What leak are you talking about? How do you know this leak occurred, and that the DNC was looking for the leaker?
I'll repost my response from the AM thread (though hey, you acknowledge there was a reason for him to get shot!):
The problem is that the government doesn't kill people out of revenge. They kill people to keep them quiet or to keep them from doing something. Seth had already spilled his guts to Wikileaks when he was murdered. So what would be the point of murdering him? The emails were already taken and given to Wikileaks.
I do believe that the emails were not hacked but were given to Wikileaks by an insider and I think it is almost certain that Seth was the insider who did that. But even insiders involved in political intrigue get murdered sometimes. It is one hell of a coincidence that he was randomly shot when he was. But coincidences do happen sometimes. Absent some really compelling evidence, I don't buy that the Democrats or Hillary or the government whacked him.
"The problem is that the government doesn't kill people out of revenge. They kill people to keep them quiet or to keep them from doing something. Seth had already spilled his guts to Wikileaks"
You don't know that Seth was the leaker. One reason you don't know that is because Seth never "spilled his guts" to that effect. Dead men tell no tales. Murder successful.
/this is not my theory, just a refutation of John's logic.
Can a non-detective have a detective's intuition? XD
I have no proof of anything conspiratorial I concede the facts of the case, as they are, to you.
I just do not trust the powers that be. For instance, in the last major Wikileaks post they had those CIA documents that pertained to how they might use self driving cars for assassination purposes -- one does not have those conversation if they weren't admittedly in the business of killing and making it look like an accident, yeah? By my estimation -- counting the just the known state intelligence agencies (the US has 17 official) -- there are literally thousands of trained covert operatives (and obviously criminal hit-men) operating all over the world and they murder in ways that look like accidents.
And you just never, ever, hear about state issued assassinations unless it's a brazen statement play like when Putin killed the defector in England with the polonium poison that could only be made by a nuclear powered country (or something to that affect).
Skepticism or wanting further investigation is fine in my book. Finding a conspiracy theory more credible than a messy official story is understandable. Treating that theory as obviously right is where I get wary. Going on TV, spinning falsehoods and using the man's corpse for political points is way over the line.
If there's someone honest out there investigating what "really happened," I wish them luck. And since you mentioned hacking into cars, I say ditto for anyone who investigates Michael Hastings's death, which I find far more suspicious. But don't indulge people who treat it as anything other than a feeling that something doesn't add up.
Timothy McVeigh?
Well, if it was a hit ordered by Clinton, it was a House Of Cards worthy moment of cynicism when she then used his death in a speech to push for gun control.
I don't think Hillary had him murdered. But go find me one person who can say with a straight face she wouldn't use his death to her advantage if she had.
But go find me one person who can say with a straight face she wouldn't use his death to her advantage if she had.
IMO, more importantly, the shot-spotter technology notified authorities at ~4 a.m., two hours after anyone had seen him.
If all it takes is to make someone disappear from a bar for 2 hrs. and two to the back, I'd probably at least consider making a few political inconveniences disappear that way.
Not that every staffer requires a full bore investigation but I mean, Jesus, they don't even have clue 1 as to whom or why.
Not that every staffer requires a full bore investigation but I mean, Jesus, they don't even have clue 1 as to whom or why.
I mean, at this point, your corner dealer in D.C. is looking pretty bulletproof, let alone a long-standing political crony or Russian mafia backed real estate magnate.
Oh god you're back.
Cripple fight!!

Yes, but we all benefit from the reduced carbon emissions of public transit, so everyone should play. White people should pay double.

How could they not be?

Nice.
Won't discovery be interesting.

I didn't even know there was such a thing as a number six.
Siamese triplets.
But who is Number One?
"President Trump called ISIS terrorists "losers."
Let me guess: Robby blames the conceptual penis?
Why is Carrot Top standing next to Trump in the picture??
Because one isn't doing journalism right unless silly, off kilter, pictures of Trump are being used?
Bullshit.

"Iran just taught the US a lesson in democracy".
From Wiki:
"The Supreme Leader of Iran, also called the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, officially in Iran, called the Supreme Leadership Authority, is the head of state and highest ranking political and religious authority in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The armed forces, judicial system, state television, and other key governmental organizations are under the control of the Supreme Leader of Iran."
Also worth noting that The Guardian Council must approve all Presidential candidates.

John! Good seeing ya buddy! /no sarc
I have been busy lately. Just haven't had the time. Thanks.
I thought all the old hands had abandoned ship
Only the good ones. As you can see, I'm still here.
John is back? Good to see you, buddy. Ken and Gilmore have been holding down the fort in your absence. But, in the end, there can only be one.
Good to see you.
Hope things settle down a bit in your life and you find the time to relax a little and to contribute here.
There can be only ONE.
In the end, there can only be one.
One Red Tony.
Fuck off and DIAF, asshole.

Y'all are like my brave seafaring pals who take to the sea for months at a time. While I'm like a sickly English lad too weak to leave the family estate so I just look out the window a lot and have a secret garden.
John! How ya been? Haven't seen you around in a while. Boss got ya putting in a lot of overtime at DHS, I imagine?
I thought 'John' was Roger Ailes and that was that but no you're not dead. I hope you're happy and welcome back you piece of shit.
I saw someone on Reddit blame the Manchester attack (and terrorist attacks in general) on neoliberalism destroying the safety net. Good lord the delusion.

Someone named Brianna Wu who is a candidate for something blamed it on sexism. I think she wins the prize for dumbest reaction to this.
John, you old bag of bones, Brianna Wu was in the middle of GamerGate. She is fucking nuts.
I saw that and it was truly breathtaking stupidity. If there was a report that indicated this guy was motivated by sexism like Elliot Rodger was, then I can understand that reaction. But purely making the assumption that it was sexism due to it being at an Ariana Grande concert is moronic. It is a crowded public event. It's an obvious target for a suicide bomb to kill a lot of people. Were the terrorists who targeted the France-Germany game a couple years back misandric?
The other thing is she blames it on sexism as one monolithic thing. Maybe sexism did have something to do with it. It is possible. I don't know. But if it did, it is because radical Muslims have insane views about women not because the guy was listening to too much Howard Stern or reading the Red Pill sites, which is what she implies.
She's closer to the truth than she knows.
Seriously?
That's the conceptual penis being blamed for global warming argument!
I was just kidding about that above.
I had no idea someone would actually . . .
Poe's Law. There it is.
The longer the Democrat establishment keeps tellling itself that Hillary lost because of sexism, or conspiracy, or some such, the better. The power elite may love her, but it seems that nobody else does. They picked up a lot of their base just because of the "D" next to her name, but a lot stayed home, too. If they pick another insider elitist's darling in 2020 they could lose even more. And the more they gas on, the more they expose themselves as people going through the motions of an election.
And once again, it is demonstrated that if you let moderate Muslims into your country, they will have a significantly higher chance of having terrorist children than either natives or non-Muslim immigrants.
From the article on Charters and DeVos:
True enough. The Great Equalizer. In that "Harrison Bergeron" sort of way that Democrats are so fond of. .
Why is Robby linking us to Amanda Marcotte? Doesn't he know her history? Oh wait, he was still in 6th grade when she 'resigned' from the Edwards campaign.
I don't know about you, but I must say I was shocked, SHOCKED, that the one who bombed a random group of people out for a good time was a RoPer.
