Massive Bomb Dropped on Afghanistan (Guess Who Authorized Use?), United Passenger to Sue, U.K. Perhaps Does Have Connections to Trump Surveillance: P.M. Links
-
DOD / Polaris/Newscom We dropped a gigantic bomb containing 11 tons of explosives of Afghanistan, the first time the Massive Ordinance Air Blast (MOAB), or "mother of all bombs," has ever been used in combat. The target was a system of caves and tunnels used by ISIS fighters. Plot twist! Before yelling solely at President Donald Trump, it turns out the Obama administration gave generals the authority to explore using the weapon back in 2016, according to The Daily Beast.
- An airstrike in Syria went wrong and killed 18 fighters allied with the United States.
- The lawyer for the passenger forcibly dragged off the United flight in Chicago says the man suffered a concussion and broken nose and is probably going to sue. But at least United passengers can feel safer now that the company has changed its policies and … OH, GOD, WHAT THE HELL, UNITED! SCORPIONS?
- President Trump has signed a bill that will allow states to withhold federal funds from clinics that perform abortions if such states are so inclined. This is another case where the president and Congress are unmaking a regulation put into place during President Barack Obama's term. Planned Parenthood is obviously hardest hit.
- Sources are saying that British spies were the first to uncover the meetings between people connected to Trump and suspected Russian agents, warned the U.S. about it, and passed along their intel. Hey, remember when the U.K.'s spying agency expressed umbrage at claims they had been involved in snooping on Trump? Mind you, just as with America's intel agencies, they're saying these communications were being incidentally collected because they were snooping on the Russian agents, not on people connected to Trump. Today's news doesn't contradict their statement that they hadn't targeted Trump.
- North Carolina has gotten more LGBT-focused attention because some conservatives introduced legislation that would cause the state to refuse to recognize same-sex marriage, Supreme Court decision be damned. But leaders say the bill is not going to go anywhere and isn't even going to be considered by the legislature, so I haven't bothered blogging about it.
- Today's demonstration in how our culture is shifting: A contestant on Survivor last night tried to prevent getting voted off the show by outing a fellow contestant as transgender, suggesting this was evidence that he was deceptive. The move backfired completely and the other contestants rallied behind the transgender contestant. CBS is also facing critique for deciding to air the contestant's outing as well.

...the first time the Massive Ordinance Air Blast (MOAB), or "mother of all bombs," has ever been used in combat.
They should rename that thing the MAGA bomb.
Well, we are a patriarchy, so I would go with FOAB.
Russia already has a FOAB: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_of_All_Bombs
Haha, Trump once again AMOGed by Putin.
Hello.
These are thick links.
It's Thursday.
Before yelling solely at President Donald Trump, it turns out the Obama administration gave generals the authority to explore using the weapon back in 2016...
I was wondering how even President Trump could get it made in just three months.
Negging 101:
Why I won't date hot women anymore
When it came to dating in New York as a 30-something executive in private equity, Dan Rochkind had no problem snagging the city's most beautiful women.
"I could have [anyone] I wanted," says Rochkind, now 40 and an Upper West Sider with a muscular build and a full head of hair. "I met some nice people, but realistically I went for the hottest girl you could find."...
...Rochkind found that in Carly, 30, a lovely brunette who's the vice president of her mother's matchmaking company and a Syracuse University graduate. Rochkind proposed to her last May in Central Park. He loves that Carly isn't like the swimsuit models he used to go for....
Longtorso practices extreme negging. It's where you don't sleep with any women no matter what.
"You're a dog, honey, but you're my dog."
I was ahead of this tread years ago.
*Trend.
Yep, I followed this practice all through my college years.
The only problem was I didn't do it voluntarily.
"I think she's really beautiful and is prettier than anyone I've dated."
Whooped.
I hate every single person in that article.
[High fives Rhywun]
Also, every person they "settled" for was still pretty attractive, in my book anyway.
I hate every single person in that article.
Even the shirtless fiddler?
I'd still do him, if that's what you're asking, but yes him too.
Especially him.
Envy is a sin, Chipper.
You should be more sympathetic to these people and their life trials. It's hard to imagine anyone with bigger problems than the people in this article. We should forget about Syrian refugees and work on making them happy.
Why I won't date hot women anymore
Uh, yeah. That's the ticket.
The lawyer for the passenger forcibly dragged off the United flight in Chicago says the man suffered a concussion and broken nose and is probably going to sue.
"Otherwise, why am I even here?"
my dads buddy recently bought a fantastic yellow Toyota Camry just by part-time work from a home pc... ?? JOB START ONLINE????-
A yellow Camry? These bots really know how to sell a scam.
Don't report it. We need the comment count.
At least the bots can still post comments. Fuck this shit. Always some new fucking glitch.
ZING!
lol
This is why I keep coming back.
Well, this and tradition.
Mostly tradition.
Scam is right. I've never seen a yellow Camry. Must be used.
It was white, but the combination of pollen, Beijing smog, and bird piss has made it yellow.
It's in pretty good shape for a 1986 model. Trust me.
Asshole bot has the best subthread.
President Trump has signed a bill that will allow states to withhold federal funds from clinics that perform abortions if such states are so inclined.
Is this the kind of federalism we want?
I'd rather he signed a bill withholding federal funds from clinics that performed abortions and if States wanted to fund them, they could do so with State tax dollars but this is an acceptable compromise.
What happens to political satire when the real world goes mad? 'Veep' is about to find out.
If Trump ruins Veep I say we revolt.
Also, this fun fact:
It's like, you can't even parody the clowns in D.C. anymore!
Martin O'Malley is just happy The Wire is over and some other politician is the foil for an HBO show. Fuck him.
Today's news doesn't contradict their statement that they hadn't targeted Trump.
It does make me wonder, however, if we can trust intelligence agencies while they're engaging in politics.
The Golden Gate Bridge Is a 'Suicide Magnet.' So Officials Are Adding a Net
You libertarians would probably let them die!
Forgot this:
It's because as per California state regs, the net must be made of organically-grown sustainable agriculture fair-trade hemp fiber, hand-woven by Third-World women in a profit-sharing co-op they own themselves.
While that doesn't sound very expensive, the extra costs come from the overhead costs of certifying NGOs and government inspectors.
THE BRIDGE 2006
4.2 out of 5 stars (238) IMDb 7.3/10
Director Eric Steel and his crew spent an entire year focusing on the Bridge. Running cameras for almost every daylight minute, they documented nearly two dozen suicides and a great many unrealized attempts.
Starring:Eric Geleynse, Chris BrownRuntime:1 hour, 34 minutes
I remember watching that. I don't remember anything about it, but I think they were promising a net back then, too.
Where's that Confounded Bridge?
+1 Crunge
Next guy to jump will probably be the poor homeless guy that got fined $250 for eating a slice of pizza in public.
Never saw the movie but hate to say it but as intense that moment must be, I doubt suicide's have much wisdom or life advice to pass on in their final moments... these aren't Samurai committing seppuku -- it's the physically pained, the broken hearted, the abused, the drug addled, the lost, the war torn, the mentally ill, the adulterers, the vicious, and the criminal.
One of those is not like the others.
You know, SF has some other big ass bridges that people might decide to jump off. Those need to be netted up too. After that, cliffs, balconies, those super tall redwoods, etc.
So now jumpers will carry knives?
It's a great place to pick up women. You can literally pick them up from the net.
Go for it, you beautiful people. My only concern is who pays for recovering the bodies.
Don't the strong currents and man-eating seals take care of that?
Am I the only one to realize that bridge must go?
Harvest their organs!
You libertarians would probably let them die!
To be honest, yes, that was my first reaction. Why is it anyone else's problem to stop them?
It's like you people don't even have feelz!
Trump hasn't even been President for 100 days, but already we're *literally* getting a new safety net.
It will be the most beautiful net.
Made of razor wire.
If libertarians were in charge, the bridge would be a privately-owned toll bridge, and the owners would have put in nets a long time ago because of liability and publicity concerns. Every one of those deaths is a government-funded death.
And it sure as shit wouldn't have cost 200 big-large
And once a month they'll empty the net of body's dumping them into the water. So instead of drowning they will die of exposure or ironically lack of water
If you jump off the golden Gate, you're not going to die by *drowning*.
...so I haven't bothered blogging about it.
PM LINKS ISN'T YOUR TRASH BIN.
Wait, now your Sketchford's mom?!?!?!?!?!?
I KNEW IT!
He wishes.
Why won't Reason cover this?!?!??!?!Runner stops every mile to chug a beer during Notre Dame half marathon and STILL finishes in under two hours
This man is a hero! What a feat! Give him the Presidential Medal of Honor!
I feel like a Trump voter, let down by their hero...
The silver bullet won't slow you down. It's the right beer now.
Fucker beat me by three minutes.
Then again, I'm in my 40s.
Guess he was free-dribbling.
I'm surprised he wasn't arrested. That ain't legal in Indiana
The move backfired completely and the other contestants rallied behind the transgender contestant.
FAKE NEWS. The host unilaterally ousted the guy, who himself is gay. Or at least that's what I'm told. I don't actually watch the show. Get Soave to break it down for you. Didn't he audition for that thing at some point?
Having law enforcement drag him to the phone.
Plot twist! Before yelling solely at President Donald Trump, it turns out
The world won't read past the "T" word.
An airstrike in Syria went wrong and killed 18 fighters allied with the United States.
War is all hell.

Watch: Horse battles gator at Florida park
I am calling for legislation that every toddler in the state of Florida be given a horse to protect them from gators.

My toddler is in favor of this idea. He also wants an alligator.
ut at least United passengers can feel safer now that the company has changed its policies and ? OH, GOD, WHAT THE HELL, UNITED! SCORPIONS?
Corporate espionage, Delta knew exactly when and where to strike!
Scorpions are cheaper than vouchers, and if handled properly, reusable.
Delta's scorpions are calling from inside of the house!!
Don't need no goons and cheaper than vouchers to get people to voluntarily leave their seats. Someone's getting a bonus at United for this quick thinking.
I'm tired of these mutherfucking scorpions on this mutherfucking plane!
I'm sure that Survivor moment was totally unscripted.
Totally sure.
Totally.
I laughed so hard one time when someone told me that I was a conspiracy theorist for suggesting that a reality show was scripted or staged.
President Trump has signed a bill that will allow states to withhold federal funds from clinics that perform abortions if such states are so inclined.
I feel like this and the bombings is really just Trump trying to reel back in his base after some stumbles out of the gate?
What is his base?
Obviously white folk with a boner for Muslim payback /half-sarc
Someone voted him in.
The alt-right/Bannon/Breitbart.com people hate him for attacking Syria. Some of the working class conservatives may be happy to see bombs being lobbed, but another Carrier deal type of announcement, or some tough new program on immigration, would be a better way to shore up that support.
I don't disagree but are you saying revote today Hilary wins by a landslide?
I'm not saying that, I don't know how you got that impression, it's separate from what we're talking about. She probably would win, just as Trump would win in a re-vote if Hillary had been in office since January.
The impression I got is that you asked "what is trumps base" in a fashion that it sounded like you think he has no base to appeal to, or that it is shrinking. But the alt-right, blue color rural type commentary muddled it for me so I asked if you think, things the way they are, Hilary would win if it was a revote today -- because the voter block that elected Trump is gone or disapproving. But we seem to have both missed the mark; I guess my realigning question would be:
What do YOU think his base is?
You're the one saying these bombings appeal to them! Who do you think they are?
I think alt-right or whatever you want to call it is, if not the main group of his base, the loudest and most recognizable group. And they are denouncing him for this. The blue collar bloc may be another part of his base, and I don't see why he'd try to shore up their support through bombing.
I think the simplest explanation is: Trump was affected by the pictures of dead kids, and he's surrounded by military guys who say they know how to deal with it.
That said, I am ignoring the abortion bill side of this whole thing, which... meh. It was a bill passed by Republicans. Was he gonna veto it?
I feel ya, and I don't know who it appeals to but it's gotta be someone. I mean haven't we noted on this very website how even anti-trump MSM news organizations et al. mostly cast the Syrian bombing with a positive light in the 48 hours or so afterwards. But to be perfectly honest any comments I made toward 'appealing to the Trump base' is nothing more than stereotype and characterization of the classic American conservative. Truth be told, idk who Trump's base is, nor do I know who is for what these days -- all I know is "they" are against the actions of their political opposites; never mind what said actions are.
Don't we go through these same abortion rituals every time blue and red switch power positions? I think that (yawn) we do.
Sources are saying that British spies were the first to uncover the meetings between people connected to Trump and suspected Russian agents, warned the U.S. about it, and passed along their intel.
To trust or not to trust, the calculated words of a covert intelligence agencies who house incalculable secrets and body bags never, ever to be released less it turns a profit... 'Argo fuck yourself', I don't trust 'em.
Take notes, resistance: How to Stand Up to Trump and Win
"Think!"
Interesting strategy.
...But naaaah.
But she thinks the "Day Without Immigrants" protest was well crafted
Haha, seriously? There's a reason Hispanic activists have only done two of these in the last ten years, and it's mainly because it helps non-Hispanics realize how accessible emergency rooms and city freeways suddenly become when you cut down a deportable population.
Back about a decade ago when Boy Wonder Jon Huntsman was governor of Utah, he proposed some kind of bill that would allow illegal aliens to do something in the state legally without fear of deportation, etc. Since he had the leadership of the Legislature on board and the enthusiastic support of the local Media, the bill was expected to be a slam dunk.
One day the local Hispanic activists sponsored a rally in Salt Lake City in support of the bill. A few dozen Mexican teenagers decided that moment would be the best time to jump in their cars and drive all over downtown SLC, honking their horns, waving Mexican flags, and gumming up traffic during rush hour.
The bill never made it to the Legislature, and they've never passed one like it since.
When United said they would no longer use police to remove passengers from overbooked flights, we should have asked what they WERE going to use instead.
"Sir, this is the last time I ask you before I get the scorpion."
SCORPIONS ON A PLANE
Because Samuel L. Jackson's been losing at the tracks.
Today's demonstration in how our culture is shifting: A contestant on Survivor last night tried to prevent getting voted off the show by outing a fellow contestant as transgender, suggesting this was evidence that he was deceptive.
It was Col. Mustard, in the bathroom, with his fake penis!
Will 'Flameless Cremation' Catch On?
Save the pacemakers!
Does it cost less than burning? That's pretty much all I care about.
It tastes like burning.
So basically they're making soup stock from humans?
mmmm, soylent brown
Worse, they're making lutefisk from humans!
Sounds like my last Chipotle bathroom visit.
I want to be freeze dried.
Not turned into frozen concentrate?
Whatever gets you off, man.
Anyone else want to be frozen until they "find the cure for death"? God speed, Rodney Dangerfield.
I want my remains scattered around Disneyland. I don't want to be cremated tho.
It has for the last 20 years or so in Mexico. Borderland Beat's feature on El Pozolero, who is estimated to have disposed of more than 300 corpses for the Arellano Felix Cartel and for El Chapo.
Though it took him about 17 hours to render a corpse. Price you pay for improvised methods and equipment, I guess.
Does it save the fake tits?
"Sources are saying that British spies were the first to uncover the meetings between people connected to Trump and suspected Russian agents, warned the U.S. about it, and passed along their intel. Hey, remember when the U.K.'s spying agency expressed umbrage at claims they had been involved in snooping on Trump?"
Public apologies for treating the Trump administration like lunatics for stating the truth will soon be forthcoming, I'm sure.
"Mind you, just as with America's intel agencies, they're saying these communications were being incidentally collected because they were snooping on the Russian agents, not on people connected to Trump. Today's news doesn't contradict their statement that they hadn't targeted Trump.
Non-denial denial.
Shouldn't Judge Nap get his job back?
You would think so!
But after being treated like that, maybe he doesn't want his job back.
The linked article mentions Napolitano by name.
"The White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, claimed the "British spying agency" GCHQ had carried out the bugging. Spicer cited an unsubstantiated report on Fox News. Fox later distanced itself from the report.
The claims prompted an extremely unusual rebuke from GCHQ, which generally refrains from commenting on all intelligence matters. The agency described the allegations first made by a former judge turned media commentator, Andrew Napolitano, as "nonsense".
"They are utterly ridiculous and should be ignored," a spokesperson for GCHQ said.
Instead both US and UK intelligence sources acknowledge that GCHQ played an early, prominent role in kickstarting the FBI's Trump-Russia investigation, which began in late July 2016.
One source called the British eavesdropping agency the "principal whistleblower".

Special report: 1 in 4 Americans don't think one-night stands count as cheating
I define cheating as" having anal with another woman." That's for you, baby. You're my special girl.
File under: reasons why science has lost all credibility -- unless it's a "study" that promotes your views obviously.
On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, "Nearly half of U.S. adults (45 percent) say following an ex on social media is sometimes cheating, compared to 16 percent who say that it's always adultery."
I mean, I get that it has potential to lead to more, but I think you have to have some level of trust too. Calling it adultery is pretty wild though.
Yes, but we used its predecessor, the 8-10-ton "Daisy Cutter" mega-bombs many many times
Dropping 'big bombs' isn't really all that new, and they're mostly used for psychological warfare and area-denial, not 'killing lots of people' or leveling cities.
But don't let context get in the way of pearl-clutching sensationalism.
I do recall a bomb drop from a few years back somewhere in the middle east, where the bomb in question was designed to explode in air and just produce a horrifying shockwave and sound but do little to no damage.
as the link above mentions, it has been used in both iraq and afghanistan to provoke surrender
there have also been claims about using it to "collapse enemy tunnel systems"... (or, in Tora Bora, Cave networks)
However, that seems sort of implausible to me - the bombs explode 100s of feet off the deck or something, and aren't able to target specific spots... so i think bunker-busting capabilities are actually exaggerated, or only suggested as an excuse to justify using the big-scary-boom-maker.
Right, because don't we have specific bunker busters that, idk, drill down or penetrate the surface to blow up tunnel networks?
Yes, but those require knowing where the "bunker" is in the first place.
these 15-20,000 pound bombs are pushed on a pallet out of the back of a Hercules/or some giant transport plane, and launch a parachute while falling towards earth in order to sort-of-stabilize them. They aren't "guided" by anything even remotely accurate. A little wind means they go 100s of yards off target. When these Pentagon flaks say they're for "destroying tunnel networks".... i suppose that is possible. As long as you're OK flattening every structure for a square mile AS WELL. But it doesn't come across as the ideal tool for that sort of specific job. My assumption is that its 80% being used as a psychological weapon prepatory to some Afghan Army advance, to reassure the ANA that "look! big daddy USA has big bombs to help you and scare the enemy away"-type thing.
I agree there is some other motive than tunnel busting; I hazard that the motive isn't even psychological warfare on our enemy combatants as in the past. I believe the motive was simply to make a statement to onlookers by dropping a giant fuckin' bomb.
I just wonder if it is Trump's statement, or some coercion by deep state intelligence, army, officials.
There are GPS-guided parachute rigs for air-dropped cargo. Seems trivial to adapt that to a bomb like the MOAB or BLU-82, but AFAIK, for right now, it's just shoved out the back of a C-130.
If they really wanted to drop tunnels, they'd use something like the GBU-28s from Desert Storm, or the MOP. Or use a thermobaric to toast whatever was in the tunnel to begin with.
Ridiculous amount of cleared area from a MOAB blast, though.
Yeah, no. A MOAB is not a Daisy Cutter. It is a guided munition. And the overpressure wave could plausibly collapse tunnels. 20% of the payload is aluminum powder, so it also has thermobaric properties.
At least we can still drop them out of prop planes. I'm shocked the military didn't order a $1 trillion weapons program to design a plane especially outfitted just to drop this bomb.
A prop plane that has been in service for over 60 years, I might add.
Aside from nukes this clearly has the biggest "bang for the buck" of any US weapons system.
I think Trump learned of the existence of the bomb and said "We have GOT to drop one of those."
Yuge!
I think when people stop giving a shit what happens on reality-television shows, i'll count that as cultural-progress.
The Woman Who Thinks Reducing the Male Population by 90 Percent Will Solve Everything
...The most suitable men would simply be those who are fit in both body and mind. This is also related to genetic modification.
Genetic engineering is already taking place by way of tests given to couples when they marry to prevent the passing of dangerous genetic material. There is no doubt such concepts will expand as we understand more about how the genome actually works. Healthy and fit men will always be ideal, but not "brutes," which has more to do with mental attributes than physical. Anyone can lift weights. Any criteria decided upon as the quintessential grade would have to be extensively defined and revised as time goes on, or as science advances and the human species and its needs evolve....
Could It Be Time To Deny White Men The Franchise?
...If white men no longer had the vote, the progressive cause would be strengthened. It would not be necessary to deny white men indefinitely ? the denial of the vote to white men for 20 years (just less than a generation) would go some way to seeing a decline in the influence of reactionary and neo-liberal ideology in the world. The influence of reckless white males were one of the primary reasons that led to the Great Recession which began in 2008. This would also strike a blow against toxic white masculinity, one that is long needed.
At the same time, a denial of the franchise to white men, could see a redistribution of global assets to their rightful owners. After all, white men have used the imposition of Western legal systems around the world to reinforce modern capitalism. A period of twenty years without white men in the world's parliaments and voting booths will allow legislation to be passed which could see the world's wealth far more equitably shared. The violence of white male wealth and income inequality will be a thing of the past....
Well the author isn't wrong that this would better achieve their goals. Yet the whole notion is laughable not for the race/gender thing but for the more axiomatic reason of "WHO GIVES UP POWER?" answer: nobody with a leg to stand on. Only revolt can take power from one and give it to another.
Furthermore, the corruption pointed out is not unique to race/gender either, the powerful are corrupt because they can be. Another phrasing, one is only able to do, what one is able to do. I for instance, cannot rig an entire banking network at a national and global level because I have neither the means, influence, nor position to be able to do that. But anybody with the means, influence, and/or position to do that, could do that. I guess what I'm getting at is white patriarchy is corrupt because it CAN be; marginalized groups are less corrupt (in certain regards) because they do not have the ability (i.e. the power) to be more corrupt. Put them in the positions the author asks for and human nature with trump both race and gender. And a new but same equilibrium of power and corruption will remain constant.
What's funny is that a majority of white women voted for Trump, but of course the leftist white woman writing this wouldn't acknowledge that.
Though it seems that this article is written by a South African and is taking on a global perspective.
Shelley Garland is an activist and a feminist and is currently completing an MA degree in philosophy. When she's not gagging at South Africa's unique brand of rainbow politics, she's working on ways to smash the patriarchy.
And she looks chubby. Very. Chubby.
Oh what? That's a mean spirited personal attack?
It's annoying bullshit when they do it right? Why are you doing it?
"I believe we must remove men from the community and place them in their own specific sections of society, akin to subsidised or state-funded reservations, so they can be redefined. We can make not only men safer, but women as well. By subsidising said reservations through the state we can provide men with activities, healthcare, entertainment, shelter, protection, and everything that one could ever require in life. This will remove conventional inequality from society. By reducing the number of men to 10 percent of the total population, their socio-biovalue will be raised. They will live out their lives happily and safely, and male disposability will be a thing of the past."
Genocide ain't so bad, we'll have "activities" and "healthcare" and "entertainment"; I wonder if that entertainment would be in the form of HAWT BABES?
*sends HV-HV to the gas chamber*
"By reducing the number of men to 10 percent of the total population, their socio-biovalue will be raised."
Oh you'll re-evlaluate their value the first time you need a tire changed.
Somebody's been reading Dave Sim's later Cerebus comics.
As one fit in both body and mind, I'd be safe, and apparently have a harem of women in need of some companionship. Keep talking.
I think Vice was thinking everything was interesting, if not a wee bit kooky (hey, 10 percent, that seems extreme!) until they got here:

North Carolina has gotten more LGBT-focused attention because some conservatives introduced legislation that would cause the state to refuse to recognize same-sex marriage,
I'm glad to see someone is flailing the good flail.
My FB is covered in wargasm! Most of the localish news media I follow can't stop themselves from cozying up to the MOAB and basking in the reflected glory. Fucking gross.
You remember those dorky kids in your high school who liked to hang around the football team and pretend they were cool? Jock sniffers, is the term I believe.
Those are the ones who became "journalists". The military is the modern stand-in for the football team, and as in high school, as long as the team is winning they want to be on their side.
Your mom?
*spittake all over monitor*
Boom, I like this kid.
I remember back in my own younger-ish days, I was watching MTV and they were interviewing this very VERY hip scruffster and they asked him if he'd still be listening to REM when he was old. He smiled and said, "Yeah man, I'll always be listening to REM!"
He really thought that was going to make him the 'cool older dude'.
Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt!
Or he really likes REM.
Or he's in REM.
My wigga. The more I read, the more I like these tweens and the more I'm laughing at the late- 20s journalist who's fast realizing he ain't cool no mo
And when, pray tell, was this?
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, it's England. I was wondering why I hadn't heard of any of these bands and why they all sounded alike and sounded fairly shitty. I get it now.
This is a serious article on the huffington post advocating to take voting away from white males because they are a hindrance to progressives. And people wonder why the 2nd amendment is so important
http://www.huffingtonpost.co.z....._22036640/
The bomb's *total* weight is 10,300 kg/ 11.3 tn - it only contains 8,500 kg /9.4 tns of explosive.
Now you've done it. You've invoked the great ton debate. Short or long? Ton or Tonne? This is worse than abortion.
It's 'Murkin tons. 2,000 pounds of God-fearing Union-made MAGA explosives.
None of this 1,000-kg-metric-tonne-Euro-cuck nonsense.
If I've listed kilos, then the 'tn' - by the context - must obviously be short tons. Because 10,300 kg is not 11.3 long tons *or* metric tons.
I just assumed that you people would be smart enough to pick up on that. Guess that makes me the asshole here.
