Brickbat: Getting Off Easy

Officials in Fort Collins, Colorado, have agreed to pay $150,000 to a man who was pepper-sprayed, pulled out of his home and arrested for obstruction after he refused an officer's demand to step outside to talk to him. The officer had responded to a call of loud music. Enan Heneghan turned the music down, but the officer became upset when Heneghan refused to show him his ID and would only talk to him through his doorway.

at least he wasn't shot and tasered and...well God only knows what else...
Should have found drugs. That justifies anything.

Cop: I--is that drugs? Do I smell drugs?
Blam, blam, blam!
Abuse of the police!
Step outside and show your papers!
He's lucky he only got two days in jail for doing nothing wrong; they could have kept him 72 hours.
Does he think that he has constitutional rights or something?
Next thing you know, people will begin to think they actually have a right to privacy.
and if this is me....I would have shot that fuck twice in the chest, once in the pelvic, and once in T box and put for garbage stickers on him for trash day.
later would get murdered by 30 thugs but i would take a few with me.
if everyone did this police wouldnt be statist fuckers. Don't worry gents i am sure someone will swat my house in the next 10 years.
The guy had a 20 pound dog in the house. Lick the boots of the LEO for not shooting little Skippy.
Wait, dog lived? This injustice demands a full investigation.
