President Trump will deliver his address to Congress tonight at 9:00 p.m.
If the majority of the thing isn't about how he won the popular vote, I'll be disappointed.
Hello.
Ola.
Reason writers will be providing live coverage here at Reason.com and on Twitter.
OH I'M SURE THEY WILL.
Kellyanne Conway put her feet on the Oval Office couch.
If there were no bukake jokes to be found on the internet based on that situation, I will again be very disappointed.
that pic does look remarkably like a setup for a scene i've watched online recently.
Gangbangs of menopausal women by elderly black dudes is not a genre I've explored, but I'm sure it exists.
Let's not forget Bill Clinton was in that office for eight years. So I'm pretty sure far more disturbing body parts have been in contact with that couch.
The cushions were all flipped after the Clinton Administration.
They were instructed to spare no expense.
James Carville's slimy testicles were gnashed all over that couch for eight years.
Well, then Kellyanne's gooey snatch should fit right in. I'm assuming she doesn't wear any undergarments.
Everyone seems grosser today. Are people trying to compensate for SF's absence?
I'm just working on my Edgelord status some more.
Quit being gross, Zeb. Grow up.
Tell me more.
Niiiiiice Zeb.
Michael Malice: "In a parallel universe multiple articles are gushing about how Hillary putting her feet up show how hard-working and down-to-earth she is"
Glad to see that hard hitting news.

Obama will continue to be the gift that keeps on giving to Republicans.
Holder: Obama is 'ready to roll'
"The Choom Gang is *back*, Baby!"
Why he can't do the classy thing like Bush did is one of the reasons he will go down in history as one of the worst diversity hires ever.
He's soooo annoying.
I imagine him being equally as effective lobbying those state lawmakers as he was the ones on Capitol Hill.
Ha!
So are the Russians.
Euphemisms...Holder is still fellating his #1.
But is he fired up?
What a dick.
Is it constitutional for the Trump administration to bar certain reporters from press briefings?
Is it constitutional to not have press briefings at all?
If CNN o the NYT or whoever's banned from the press briefings just needs to send an elderly black lesbian in a wheelchair as their correspondent. You can decline to have press briefings at all, you just can't have them inaccessible to some if you do have them. Or at least that's my understanding of how things work from the Christian bakers forced to make gay wedding cakes and hiking trails that get closed off if they're not wheelchair accessible or websites that get sued if the blind and the deaf can't get Garrett Morris to narrate.
I would assume it is, as most reporters are routinely barred from white house press briefings.
Wrong! Hasn't it been explained to you that freedom of the press specifically applies to journalists for Fortune 500 media companies? Clearly that's what the founders intended.
It would be constitutional not to have press briefings. However, once the White House decides to have press briefings, there are constitutional implications per Sherill v. Knight, 569 F.2d 124, 129-31 (D.C. Cir. 1977) (footnotes and citations omitted):
White House press facilities having been made publicly available as a source of information for newsmen, the protection afforded newsgathering under the first amendment guarantee of freedom of the press requires that this access not be denied arbitrarily or for less than compelling reasons. Not only newsmen and the publications for which they write, but also the public at large have an interest protected by the first amendment in assuring that restrictions on newsgathering be no more arduous than necessary, and that individual newsmen not be arbitrarily excluded from sources of information. Given these important first amendment rights implicated by refusal to grant White House press passes to bona fide Washington journalists, such refusal must be based on a compelling governmental interest. * * * This first amendment interest undoubtedly qualifies as liberty which may not be denied without due process of law under the fifth amendment.
There isn't room for everyone, so they have to ban "someone".
Can't Trump just use "privilege" as a reason to exclude CNN for a few years?
That is completely irrational bullshit. Freedom of the press applies to all citizens equally.
If Jim Acosta and I both show up for the press briefing, how could the courts claim that denying him entry would be a First Amendment violation, but denying me entry would be fine?
Leftists interpret freedom of the press to mean special treatment for official journalists, whatever that means, as opposed to freedoms of any citizen to disseminate information, which is obviously what it actually means.
Well I learned something new today.
It's a crime!
students will "watch exciting food documentaries, learn from people actively engaged with food justice in the L.A. region, and complete exciting assignments like observing farmer's markets and food production businesses, interviewing food workers, and writing a recipe that is decolonized."
*** facepalm ***
Speaking of "decolonized": Young people are four times more likely to develop blowed cancer than previous generations.
"blowed cancer"??
Fucking autocorrect! *bowel*
Yeah sure. 'Autocorrect'.
Jesus that article -- I am so impossibly fucked. Death will find me fast and finish me slow.
Will that stop me from eating fast food tomorrow? Will that stop me from drinking pop, booze, and sitting on my ass al l day at work only to sit more at home playing video games all night?
Fuck no, nothing can save me from me, I deserve this brutal and pathetic death that is surly coming... Truly. And I hate being a spot on stereotype but the glove is a perfect fit. God help us all.
I find it interesting that they're blindly asserting, without any studies, that this is because of diet and lack of activity.
I mean, it could be, sure. But I'll note that there's also been a rise in cervical cancers, throat cancers, and tongue cancers, especially among the young. All linked to increased transmissions of HPV.
Damn kids and their buttchugging.
"Food justice?" Have we finally arrived at the point where we can pick any topic, nay, any word, and add justice to it for more prog points? I advocate for Beer Justice! Squirrel Justice!
Is it working?
I gave your mom blowed cancer 😉 Or did she give me blowed cancer? Not sure how this euphemism works.
Education Secretary Betsy DeVos described historically-black colleges as early examples of school choice.
That's gonna cost her.
"I meant *private* historically-black colleges!"
I don't think it was much of a choice when these schools were founded.
But it was still the government enforcing segregation and keeping people out of schools. She's not entirely wrong; she just said it in a simple and crude manner. The HBC's took away the government's near-monopoly on schools.
Yep they had no options for a good education and the hbc provided one if they wanted
THIS
That's gonna cost her.
They probably didn't even have the gall to ask her about Aleppo first.
Amalgamated League of Education Professionals and Police Officers
Yes, the instant narrative was, of course, that she adores Jim Crow (https://goo.gl/OTJlSu). Notice the flagrant retooling of what DeVos said for the headline. Even the first paragraph of the article says her statement "praises a system created as a result of legal segregation." But that's not enough--the headline would have us believe that "Betsy DeVos praises segregated higher education system for pioneering 'school choice.'" As though a response to an oppressive system is identical to the system itself. Let's try that with a related topic. If an article reported that "Amrita praises Underground Railroad created as a result of chattel slavery" would "Amrita praises chattel slavery" be a fair headline?

When Nancy Pelosi is your voice of sanity, you may have a problem.
They're hoping that the biggest form of protest is Rep. Lois Frankel's (D-Fla.) call to have all the female members wear white.
Oh, *that* will show Trump, all right!
They should all wear vagina costumes.
*Trump* should wear a vagina costume! Wouldn't that be a *hoot*?!
I like that, except that I am told he is already planning to wear a sombrero.
and this
Perfect.
They're hoping that the biggest form of protest is Rep. Lois Frankel's (D-Fla.) call to have all the female members wear white.
All white? They should ride in on horses wearing veils with candles held proudly aloft.
A French police sniper has accidentally shot and injured two people during a speech by President Francois Hollande. The sharpshooter was on a roof about a hundred metres away from a tent where Mr Hollande was inaugurating a new fast train line in the western town of Villognon.
I guess you shouldn't be making speeches...close to bullet trains.
Also remember: "I won't make comparisons but here, people don't have access to guns. Here, you don't have people with guns opening fire on the crowd simply for the satisfaction of causing drama and tragedy."
"Dieu merci il n'?tait pas le terrorisme!"
'J'ai dit pinot noir pas....ooops!'
Negligent discharge must sound beautiful in a romance language like french.
"Don't look at me like that, baby. That wasn't a premature discharge, that was a negligent discharge. That's how they do it in France!"
Kellyanne Conway put her feet on the Oval Office couch.
Bill Clinton acted with a bit less decorum than that in the same room once, if I recall correctly.
Yes but did that include a female staffer on her knees???
Because PATRIARCHY!!
So did Nancy Reagan.
The seance? That was as inappropriate as what Clinton did?
Yes
"Pics or it didn't happen" is, fair or not, pretty much how our brains work.
So, then, recipes with a lot of fiber?
I'd rub my feet on her couch, if you know what I mean.
Yuck.
I saw her once in person. She weighs like 40 pounds.
So wouldn't, John?
I would. But I would a lot of women.
You two have something in common. Awwwwww...
Let's just say thst if you drew a Venn diagram of the things John and I have in common, John would be turned on by the shape of the Venn diagram.
I meant John and Crusty.
Boobies?
Wild guess... vodka diet.
But the Pizzagate gal is too far for you?
I draw the line at Pizzagate truthers.
Sure, why not?
Reposted for John (from the high school wrestler thread):
I have said this here before. I am transgendered*. I identify as more female than male. You would not be able to tell that by looking at me or hanging around me because outwardly, I am very masculine and like to bone women. What makes me a great deal different from other transgendered folks is that I never bought into the lie that my genitals had to conform to my identity. That's a societal pressure exacerbated by the transgendered movement, which coincidentally is part of the Progressive movement.
* or more accurately gender neutral / gender free.
Good for you. I think there is something deeply wrong with telling people that their bodies must conform to some strict view of gender. You are whoever you want to be. And if that whoever is more on the feminine side, it is what it is. It does not make you a freak in need of radical transformative surgery.
You are an adult. How you dress and how you act is your own business. Good for you for being happy with your body as is.
Yes it is, which is why at large gatherings, I always end up in the room full of women. Nice room to be in.
We should all do so well.
As is so often the case these days, identity politics fucks everything up.
If the focus were on people being comfortable with who they are, rather than with gender identity. If a girl wants to be very masculine or a boy wants to be feminine, why does that need to be an identity? Why isn't it better if people just expand their notions of what male and female can be? We should be worrying less, not more about the categories of gender (as differentiated from biological sex). Just be who you are and don't worry about what category you should identify with.
I agree Zeb.
outwardly, I am very masculine and like to bone women.
Samesies.
*hugs*
I thought you like to debone women, Crusty.
STEVE SMITH LIKE TO BONE! THEN DEBONE! THEN REBONE! YMMV!
I am very masculine and like to bone women.
Show off.
outwardly, I am very masculine and like to bone women.
"Also, chickens."
Well that goes without saying.
Perhaps you are simply confused about the definitions of the terms male and female?
I am having trouble with the concept of a self described masculine person who bones women not falling within the parameters of "male".

Meet the terrorist behind the next women's march.
Holy crap, is that one ugly spud. She looks like she could be Palpatine's wife.
By golly, you nailed it.
Yikes. Hide your pet rodents.
So did anyone notice the day without immigrants?
I did. I went to Crazy Taco (best tacos in the Minneapolis skyway system) and they were closed. And I reall had a craving for them.
"A day without immigrants"
That one day each year when people eat a bit healthier and get some exercise raking the leaves.

How Long Can Border Agents Keep Your Email Password?
Some data gathered from travelers going through customs can stay in a Homeland Security database for 75 years.
He didn't change his passwords after the first search?
That was my question.
he officer asked about Andr?'s accounts on Scruff, a gay hookup app, and BBRT, a gay hookup website, in an episode the traveler described as "humiliating."
So the U.S. customs officials are concerned about gay hookups?
I cut off the quote just before the explanation: They rifled through his devices again, and even though Andr? had wiped them of most of his personal information, he said he was not let through and was told he was a "suspected escort."
I'm not sure if this particular incident would be ENB's or Shackmoore's beat.
Hmm, well the gayness definitely puts it in ENBs backyard, but his Canadian-ness is definitely a Shack beat.
There is no mention of U.S. customs officials in the short excerpt above, just Canadian Border Patrol. Don't know why they are involved in screening outbound pax. It says he never left Canada on his first attempt.
Also, the link cites "Homeland Security". Does Canada also have a "Homeland Security" agency?
I'm confused but I'm not clicking.
We're all sorry to hear that.
He was going through US Customs preclearance. Nothing strange or confusing about it.
And there is no "Canadian Border Patrol." CBP is Customs & Border Protection. The equivalent Canuck agency is the Canada Border Services Agency, or CBSA.
The us has customs and border patrol at major Canadian airports. Flights then arrive as "domestic".
"Education Secretary Betsy DeVos described historically-black colleges as early examples of school choice."
Oh boy, I bet that sure triggered a lot of people.

From a reporter's tweet: Josh Dawsey @jdawsey1
Trump's speech is expected to be 65-80 minutes long tonight, Press Secretary Sean Spicer told Hill officials earlier today.
I would love to see a word cloud of that speech.
Winner winner internet.
Jessica Chastain rocks bold lace look as she reveals male director discouraged her from talking 'too much' about gender equality
I want to nestle deep inside her chin cleft.
She can tell me all about gender equality.
"But Jessica Chastain has revealed she's faced some discouragement in raising the issue.
In March's edition of American Way for American Airlines, the actress, 39, confessed, 'I had one male director say to me that I talk too much about all of this "women stuff." This is a person I love, and maybe he was concerned I would hurt my career.'"
So. Maybe your boss just thought you talked about it too much?? Like I have a passion for religion. But I'm pretty sure if I launched into a tirade at my boss about why I find the New James Bible an overrated translation inferior to many others out there, I'm sure I'd be told to cut it out.
Someone who was directing a movie didn't want the actors to talk about things that might turn off potential audience members. They expected her to do her job and promote the movie and practice politics on her own time. The monsters.
The fact Jessica can detect "male" vs. "female" disproves the concept of gender equality.
I don't care how noble you believe a subject to be, there's always a time and a place to discuss it. Liberals can be so dense. "Ugh. They shut me down when I tried to discuss white privilege at my job interview. So racist, I can't even!"
To the people asserting that she was disrespectful, I would point out that the men are all smiling.
Yes.
Next question.
So, by not including every press reporter multiple administrations have violated this hidden clause in the Constitution?
???
I no read well. I thought it said is it "un-constitutional for the Trump administration to bar certain reporters from press briefings?"
They were. They could chose to go to an HBCU or not go to college at all. Clearly, it provide them with a choice. I sure wish the media would go fuck themselves. This shit is getting really old.
This is what prompted my 'Aleppo' statement. I know a lot of libertarians talk about tone deafness and express confusion about what GJ was supposed to do to avoid the Aleppo moment. I feel a similar blindness about this situation.
I couldn't possibly conceive of what Betsy DeVos could've done that wouldn't or couldn't be portrayed as either belittling their role in history, downplaying the government's role in the situation historically, or awkwardly avoiding the issue altogether. Pretty much the only play she had to avoid one or more of those situations was a "Boy, that DT is *some* racist, huh?" blurb that would've gotten her tossed out of her job.
No it isn't unconstitutional to bar certain reporters. It is a privelege to be there seeing how a bunch of others dont get to go. The ny times can print what they want. They are confusing their entitled mentality with freedom of the press. The ny times is a business first and foremost and the government does not have to do biz with them
Why is the kellyanne thing news?
Because the meeting was with a bunch of black leaders who left pretty happy. So, the media had to come up with something else to talk about.
Why is the kellyanne thing news?
One thing I've noticed over the course of the ongoing prog freak-out over all things Trump, it's that they seem to hate and despise her almost as much as they do Trump. Probably because "...something something GENDER TRAITOR mumble mumble..."
I guess the putting her feet on the couch thing is something that only in-bread flyover state white trash do, or something.
She is happily married and has several kids. They really hate a woman who is a breeder. Remember, the media is full of bitter 40 something women angry and bitter about either not having kids or having them too late in life. A woman who has multiple kids is a natural enemy for all of them.
Like my bitter, feminist loser aunt who had the temerity to criticize my sister for "allowing" my two beautiful nieces collect and play with Barbies during a visit to my sister and brother-in-law's home a couple of years ago.
The night before my aunt left, my younger niece went into the guest bedroom and placed a Barbie in my aunt's suitcase and when my aunt unpacked, she called and left a nasty message for my sister.
BA, MA, and JD. She flunked the bar three times and never passed. Married once, divorced with a kid who did not invite her to his wedding.
Huge fan of Gloria Steinem, Bella Abzug, Carol McKinnon, Susan Brownmiller et al.
PS-
Fired from one job after another because she is a feminist know-it-all.
Sounds like your type of gal?
She'd better be salacious in the sack.
She WAS pretty, though the least attractive between my mom and her other two sisters.
The media is full of women just like your aunt. And they all hate well adjusted normal people, and especially women with a passion.
She has all the traits of a bitter proggy feminist. You couldn't conceive of a more prototypical one if you had a week to think about it.
Wtf. Barbie is a single woman with 145 careers!
I don't get it either. Must be boob-shaming.

Emma Watson says she has transitioned into being a woman. I have to admit, she is one hell of an attractive transgender.
John, straight up:
Who do you find more attractive, Emma or Kellyanne Conway?
Emma. Emma has that awful jawline and really isn't all that, but she is still pretty hot. I wouldn't kick her out of bed.
And notice how close she is to showing the goods there. That prediction that she would be doing doing Europorn before she is 30 is looking better and better.
Yes, I noticed.
Do you think that there are any straight men who would take Caitlyn Jenner over Kellyanne? My hunch is that they are out there.
If the internet proves anything, it is that there are men out there who will fuck anything, living or dead regardless of gender.
Including a young Matt Dillon.
Come on, you can admit it. You saw The Outsiders back in the day and kind of wanted to.
NTTAAWWT
Well, I did see the movie when it was released with my then girlfriend who was gaga over Matt and C. Thomas Howell (speaking of trans-race, he did it...... 🙂
Stay gold, Mike.
Fun fact: Robert Frost was the official poet of all greasers.
Emma has the face of a young Matt Dillon.
She really does. Like I said above, she is not all that. And she seems to be a complete fucking moron judging by what she says in her interviews.
Very good observation.
"In her most daring snap to date, she went topless from beneath an intricately caged capelet which left nothing to the imagination, in a truly high fashion style."
Umm... I was imagining nipples.
Kellyanne Conway put her feet on the Oval Office couch.
Barack Obama put his feet on the Oval Office desk. Yeah, whataboutit?
You're not supposed to remember instance where Obama may have done something "unsophisticated."
Besides, propping ones feet up on the desk is a sign of being cool and detached, whereas putting your feet on the couch is just a sign of being dumb white trash. /progtard
Who takes a group photo where you can't see half the people? It's as if the whole point of the pic is for people to see Trump surrounded by a lot of African-Americans.
It's 3/5 of the room.
Lol winner
Wrong. I am laughing, but still wrong.
If its constitutional, how could it possibly be wrong?
If prorating you is wrong, I don't wanna be right.
Damn son lol
Kellyanne Conway put her feet on the Oval Office couch.
Fuck yo couch!
I saw one headline "twitter erupted over kellyanne conway on couch"
Trivial stupid crap.
Can someone pur a site together of a who what when where why how all bulleted of major events
If you go on cnn half the content is what others said about something someone said like it is people magazine
Doesn't the phrase "twitter erupted" mean the same thing as "trivial stupid crap"?
Yea. Like i get why it is content but it isnt news of any form. It would be nice if these media pubs just admitted they need to generate hits
Yea. Like i get why it is content but it isnt news of any form. It would be nice if these media pubs just admitted they need to generate hits

What's that famous Eleanor Roosevelt quote? "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people."
Well, what kinds of minds discuss what some people said about what some other people said?
Also, in the words of Ron White: "I'm 3rd generation don't give a fuck."
I have a strict rule with my kids. "No talking about talking. ". Leads to nothing but bickering.
Doesn't that rule violate itself?

Who needs to go further than 80 miles?
Nobody, especially when children are starving in this country.
Sometimes it's necessary if there aren't 23 brands of deodorant available.
40 miles if you need to drive back in less than a day.

Allison Williams is wildly hot. I don't care that her dad is a pathological liar. Damn.
My only criticism is that she's got a penetrating gaze/1000 yard stare issue going on.
I'd love to believe it's the photographer's fault, but it seems to be in shots that are framed for other looks as well. Like a mannequin posed to give the suggestion of 'come hither'.
Yeah. Very creepy. Her eyes don't seem to track.
So you're saying you'd like to give her helicopter some ground fire?
Meh. Mannish. Keep in mind these pictures a touched to produce maximum beauty, and still, meh.
I almost forgot! From one of the bright lights of Gamergate, Brianna Wu, regarding the SpaceX trip around the moon:
"This is being covered as a fun hijink for rich people, but the idea of a private corporation having access to moon should give you pause."
"2/ The Moon is probably the most tactically valuable military ground for earth. Rocks dropped from there have power of 100s of nuclear bombs"
This woman is running for Congress.
Yeah Brianna, some kid on the moon throwing rocks could take out the Earth. Freaking idiot.
Or just not colonize moon with military and just launch hundreds of nukes??
How does one drop a rock from moon to earth?
Simple... E=mc^2 x 100s
Who are you, who is so wise in ways of science?
Weapon system already tested.
Why concern of the private corp when the military can just colonize
"Rocks dropped from there have power of 100s of nuclear bombs"
I sure hope TSA sets up a sterile area with appropriate screening of passengers and crew. Also, don't forget your passports.
She's right up there with Hank "What if the island tips over" Johnson. What a dumb bitch.
"This is being covered as a fun hijink for rich people, but the idea of a private corporation having access to moon should give you pause."
They wouldn't really be interested anyway, there aren't any Xenomorphs on the moon.
Sounds like she read "The Moon is Harsh Mistress", so she can't be all bad.
" Rocks dropped from there have power of 100s of nuclear bombs""
Someone should explain to her that this is only possible at night when the moon is directly above the Earth.
Racists blubber in court as judge jails them for threatening black child's birthday party with shotgun.
(alt headline: Bigots sentenced 35 years for terrorizing black child's birthday party, cry like babies, but the first link has GIFs to enjoy)
That is an awfully long jail sentence for being a complete asshole.
combined total of 35 years
17.5 each? 35, 1 yr. sentences to be served concurrently? Who knows. And, more importantly, because white people pointing guns under battle flags, who cares.
That's the problem with the second headline; no mention of pointing a shotgun at a family celebrating an 8-year-old's birthday.
It's also not 35 per person; the guy with the gun got 20 years, with 13 to serve in prison. His partner was given 15 years, six to serve.
I read the articles, and the sentences still seem ridiculously high. Threatening a family with a shotgun should be punished harshly, but 13 years seems like a lot.
Then again I think most sentences for any crime where no one was hurt are too high.
I don't disagree, nor am I totally comfortable with the "terroristic threats" charge (though they are threats meant to terrorize...). But the dude crossed beyond being an asshole.
Fantastic gifs
If they had actually shot at the kids without saying anything, and didn't have confederate flags flying, they probably get a lighter sentence.
Think about that for a second.
Is it constitutional for the Trump administration to bar certain reporters from press briefings?
Let's check...
Congress shall make no law...abridging
the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right
of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the
Government for a redress of grievances. 1A
I do not believe blocking certain "news" orgs from a whitehouse press event constitutes a violation. It's not like every independent journalist operating a youtube channel gets a spot at the big-boys table. And these things are always televised. Sure, some networks won't get to ask a question they want, but they're free to write what ever they want. Call me when The Don starts "investigating" journalists in relation to gov't leaks and/or imprisoning them for what they write. (Those would be violations...)
Like Lincoln...
Kellyanne Conway put her feet on the Oval Office couch.
I'd wager that far worse things have occurred on/around the Oval Office Couch. Dare you to take a black-light to it...
Education Secretary Betsy DeVos described historically-black colleges as early examples of school choice.
See? School choice IS racist.
There is a problem with school choice that has not, AFIK, been resolved. I approach this from two very practical experiences in my life: 1) I coach little league baseball, and 2) I grew up with a sister who is severely mentally retarded. The second experience informs the first.
In baseball, there are some kids who will not respond to the most careful effort to slowly bring them to the point of catching a fly ball. Incrementalism usually works, but it sometimes fails. Bromides like "You can do anything you set your mind to" are false.
In teaching, there are some kids who are constitutionally incapable of learning much. My sister is one of them, on the extreme end.
Teacher's unions may be corrupt but, in opposing school choice, they might be asking what we should do with the kids on the far right side of the bell curve after you plucked the rest out? "That's your job", is not going to fly.
would there not be school choices for special needs kids?
There is, but it's more of a caretaker task than a teaching (or coaching) task. That's my point about teachers and school choice. There's nothing wrong with being a caretaker, but that's not the job a teacher expected. This is unresolved.
At some point some public schools would have to close and the competent teachers can find work elsewhere. There will still be the same number of kids. And people always like smaller classes.
I would think that there would be good schools for the people like your sister in a school choice or charter school scenario. The money is there and the demand exists.
It seems like the biggest problem would be the kids that aren't the brightest and who have parents that don't get involved. They will be the ones left if everyone else opts out.

This is the attitude that drove my mom crazy. But she learned to be very patient about it. So I will try. On the far right side of the bell curve school is null. It is the work of saints to get kids that far over to pull their pants down before taking a piss.
Yo, widget, if you tried harder and had the right schooling, you could solve the Riemann hypothesis, or the like. No, really, I couldn't.
Widget, your concern trolling is clearly disingenous.
There are *already* many private schools that offer services to parents with children who have special needs and these schools have tuition that is less than the average cost of a public school student.
"what happens if everyone except who doesn't have downs syndrome leaves public schools?" The answer is self-evident but concern trolls gotta troll eh?
Oh my fucking god:
"...Dr. Dana Collins, whose primary areas of expertise include gender/sexualities/queer studies; critical globalizations, post-colonial theory and development, transnational feminist activism, and urban communities..."
"...all food has a social life, which includes its production within a global food system that rests upon and reproduces global social inequalities;"..."
"...complete exciting assignments like ... writing a recipe that is decolonized."
"the United States has always been a problematic project," and that three quarters of the state governments are controlled by "neo-Confederates" who are ushering in a "wanton reintroduction of white supremacy, right wing sic populism and fascism, and state sanctioned sic patriarchy."
"The "build strategies" from which students may choose their final projects fall under the umbrella of the organization's broader "Build and Fight; Fight and Build" resistance program, and include the construction of workers' cooperatives, people's assemblies, and community energy networks.
If Trump is the antichrist then this professor is definitely one of the other signs of the apocalypse.
