Uber has hired a NASA expert to help them craft a concept of flying cars.
I'll wait for the flying taxis, thank you very much.
Ha ha at sucker below you. /Nelson Munz
What about self-driving flying taxis?
As long as it's blessed by a commission somewhere, I feel safe.
It helps if you're a Diamond Medallion member.
Hello.
Even better, they are going to be powered by cold fusion reactors. The tech is apparently just around the corner...
Its 3 years away
and always will be
How long until the time machine?
It's irrelevant.
As Stephen Hawking said, if time travel were possible we'd be visited by people from the future.
Not necessarily. Even though I don't think time travel is possible, there could be many reasons why we have not been visited, if it is.
Would you want to visit us if you were a time traveler?
Ten years out, so yes.
what we've been waiting for
I've been waiting for jetpacks, but that would be a little awkward sharing one with an Uber contractor.
Eh, it might be fun. *thinks of Uber contractor as Scarlett Johannson
Flying cars ?ber alles.
Like drones, no flying cars allowed within 30 miles of anything worth riding a flying car to.
^This.
People have a hard enough time being aware of what's going on around them when they only have to navigate in 2 dimensions.
Anyway, we already have flying cars. They're called helicopters.
Democrats are engaged in a final 24-hour push to try to keep Betsy DeVos, school choice advocate, to be named head of the Department of Education.
Keeping their eye on the prize, as always.
If everything's a crisis, what will they do when there's a real crisis?
They're just practicing so that they've got panic down to an art when it's finally called for.
Shriek louder.
If only there were some frequently alluded to parable that was applicable here.
I'm not sure how the Tortoise and the Hare fits this scenario.
I seem to remember something about falling wolves, or crying skies.
Speaking of crying skies.
The parable of Warty and the Nazi Muff of Doom?
That. Was. Epic.
Opportunity you mean?
The Left fights for nothing harder than control of their propaganda organs.

No, seriously. DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT.
But first, write a 1000 word essay on why you are deleting your account.
That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works.
I enjoyed that.

So, reportedly Trump was not fully aware of all the details of the order that restructured the National Security Council to add advisor Stephen Bannon to it, and he's not happy to have found out afterward.
Bad!
But its reportedly from the NYT so its fake news
"I am shocked, shocked to find that leaking stories to the press is going on in here!"
Democrats are engaged in a final 24-hour push to try to keep Betsy DeVos, school choice advocate, to be named head of the Department of Education.
I say either put her vote up or straight-up abolish the DoE.
If DeVos is voted down then the department should be shut down since we would not a rogue agency with no leadership
since we would not a rogue agency with no leadership
Without a federal department of education, people won't learn how to use verbs properly!
Sure they will, Ted.
The great thing about English is that any noun can be verbed.

My rhyming need.
Exactly!
My rhyme, bitched.
It would be sweet if they voted her down and he put up Michelle Rhee (sp?). The gnashing of teeth and screeching from the left would be epic.
Yeah, and Rhee has credentials and experience. Plus, it would be really bad form (unprecedented) to reject two consecutive nominees for the same position. I believe it's been 28 years since the last cabinet nominee was rejected.
Plus she's not white.
If she doesn't align with leftists, then yes, she is effectively whited.
Beautiful.
It would be sweet if they voted her down and he put up Michelle Rhee
I suspect she's too smart to be interested in being part of Trump's cabinet.

In Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology, the gods are tragic and petty
I liked his American Gods books.
Agreed. In fact I can't think of anything I've read from Gaiman that I didn't like.
That's next on my reading list. I have yet to encounter anyone who doesn't strongly recommend it.
I recommend it, but not strongly.
It's worth reading. It didn't change my life, but it was a good read well worth the time that I took reading it.
(In this case, it was it was the slow last-week-of-the-year in the office at work, where I read it in my cubicle and checked my email in between chapters)
I'm way in the minority but I thought it was absolutely terrible. If you go to Amazon and look at the most helpful 1 star reviews, I'd agree with many of those.
Vague, random, pointless, disconnected. I suspect it was written on bad acid.
Is this the religion where *everyone* goes to Hell?
No, only people who die as unworthy. Those who die well in battle go to eternal party, with mead, wenches and fights to the death. But it's OK, all the death are resurrected and ready to go the next day - not even a hangover.
Greek myth is where everyone goes to hell, even if some bits are nice (Elysian fields) and some are punishment (Tartarus). I guess, with the exception of lucky few who get to be stars in the sky.
No, you are thinking of Sithrak.
Trump in a speech to service members told them that there are so many terrorist attacks that the "dishonest media" is not reporting them.
In the president's defense, different people find different things terrifying. For instance, the White House considers presidential criticism a terrorist attack.
Terrorist Melissa McCarthy droned live TV ratings so high.

Roxanne!
You don't have to bribe for the red lights!
Oh my goodness.
I smiled because of how far a reach that was.
I love long reaches like that.
Speaking of The Police, the last time they performed around here me and buddy scored a couple of free tickets and went. Their rendition of Roxanne was absolutely atrocious - one of the worst things I ever heard. It literally ruined my life.
The Police almost ruined my life too when I was a kid, but I got away!

Media Critic Michael Wolff to CNN's Brian Stelter: You Run Risk of Becoming a 'Ridiculous Figure' in Vilifying Trump
How long afterwards did CNN ask him to clean out his desk?
Apparently they are unaware that Samantha Bee literally destroyed Trump 42 times prior to the election.
We watch TBS for the Seinfeld reruns and the commercials for her show make me want to shoot the television.
If she has any bits that aren't unfunny "beatdowns" of Trump, I haven't seen them in the commercials.
The company at the center of a bribery scandal over Chicago's red-light camera program will be paying the city back $20 million.
$20 million should sparkle the dumpster fire a little brighter for about a week.
They're going to have to really step up their red light ticketing to pay that bill.
The odds that any of that money actual goes into the city's general fund instead of into the pockets of aldermen and the mayor have to be pretty low.
For the gridiron fans.
She should have run the fucking ball!

Retired general: Trump's Putin remarks may be 'most anti-American statement' ever by president
When has Barry McCaffrey ever been wrong before?
Wasn't he a former "drug tsar"?
That's "czar". Please speak American.
Yes, that asshole.
So, literally a drug kingpin? Go get him, Daredevil!
Putin is running a criminal oligarchy? I thought he was a gas station masquerading as a country?
Go get him as well, Daredevil!
I think the real outrage is that for just a brief moment Trump was actually being sincere and telling the truth. Gives us our lying Trump back!
"To confuse American values with Putin, who is running a criminal oligarchy."
Sometimes the jokes write themselves.
"Putin, who is running a criminal oligarchy"
So, we're basically criticizing Putin for doing what every American president has been doing since...?
It's ok when we do it.
Don Putin, I am honored and grateful that you have invited me to your home today on the day of your wedding to Trump... and I hope that your first child, be a masculine child.
What, are you kidding me? It will ride a bear with it's shirt off. The Trumputin child, not the bear. Bear's don't wear shirts.
Who knew Barry McCaffrey was still alive?
Fwiw, I updated greasonable to allow you to filter stories on the front page.

Despite critics' claims, Dodd-Frank hasn't slowed lending to business or consumers
http://www.cnbc.com/2017/02/06.....umers.html
In, fact, lending is up sharply each year since 2010 with annual records being set. Yet some conservative moron repeats the lie that "banks don't lend anymore" every hour on CNBC.
*collects more tears while looking at gold market
Are those loans created or saved by Dodd Frank?
I'll be sure to tell all my clients who couldn't get construction loans, in DFW, that they were obviously wrong and the banks are just handing out money left and right.
Shitty credit.
Bank lending for commercial is setting record highs every year.
This year, it's because Trump is the greatest prez ever, right shreek?
Aren't you that dumb fuck who didn't pay on a lost bet?
Why werent you touting dodd frank the last year and years before?
It looks like the total amount being lent is higher, which is probably due to low interest rates. I'll bet the total number of loans is lower.
since 2010
Are they higher than they were in 2006?
By far.

A few days ago, several regular comment posters said they'd had enough, and were leaving, never to return.
I haven't decided to leave COMPLETELY, but... $.02 worth. For a long time I thought Soave was merely "mostly useless" but after he did his little hit job on Tillerson, he can go DIAF. He comes up much too short in the "free minds and free markets" department to be taken seriously by the likes of me. For that matter, TDS has made many of the writers' tenuous grasp on free market libertarianism all too obvious. For all the jokes and jibes about "cosmotarianism" I really think most of of the staff have been completely assimilated by the Beltway Hive Mind. Suderman's comment about how he doesn't know anybody but NGO parasites, beltway liberals/writers/lobbyists/wonks and Hill staffers tells me as much as I need to know about him. He's just as far out in the TDS weeds as Tim Egan or Krugabe.
Dalmia's tweets are... self-explanatory.
It's not my magazine. It's not my blog. But, if you turn Road and Track into organic gardening weekly, don't be surprised if people start cancelling their [DRINK!] subscriptions en masse.

I'm hoping Virginia Postrel will knock some sense into Reason's heads.
She hates us more than her sagging breasts.
What this website needs is more glamor.
And cocktail parties. And cruises.
Cigarette-stained, sagging-breasts glamour.
Postrel hates the commentariat. How did you miss that?
Oh, I know, H. A poor attempt at humor.
I'm not going to sugarcoat it. Reason is not quite what it used to be.
Funny that only the yokeltarians are complaining. It's almost as if there was a trend.
Why does it have to be just yokeltarians? Why not embrace new comers and convince them of the pros of libertarianism. Do you think this site courting progressives will work?
Progressives, no. Old school liberals, yes.
They're not courting them. Do you think an old school liberal is on board with shitting your pants over illegal immigration? Trump got the middle class worker vote because of that issue. They were Democrats. Not progressives. Old school liberals.
If the term "yokeltarian" can be applied to me, then it's lost all meaning.
This. 1A should be a cosmo fave.
Please explain why you think you are not a yokeltarian. I am genuinely curious.
I don't have a problem with Muslims. I don't have a problem with immigrants. I don't buy the justifications for why we should keep Muslims out nor other kinds of immigrants.
While my feelings on abortion itself are mixed, I don't think getting the state more involved in the matter is the answer. People talk about moral prerogatives but the state is not a moral agent.
I think all drugs should be made legal. I don't know if that's a yokel-cosmo issue but it's certainly a conservative-liberal one.
I don't have a problem with same-sex marriage even though I would much prefer the state be out of the marriage business. I certainly want to keep sodomy and other consenting acts legal.
I still consider myself a libertarian even though I've been disappointed in Cato's position on guns and Reason's position on damn near everything lately.
These purity tests will get the desired 1% of the population.
"How many for dinner tonight sir?"
"As many as fit into my narrow and fluid political belief system."
"So, uh, Party of one?"
All of those things are also accurate summaries of my own views
I'd still be called a Yokeltarian because some people can't distinguish between criticizing an argument vs. endorsing its opposite.
This describes almost everyone. It drives me nuts.
Argument from authority and ad-homenim attacks are popular logical fallacies for a reason. We are apparently wired such that we cannot distinguish the person from the argument. This attachment of person and argument also leads to a binary "us against them" notion that leads to this phenomenon of "if you are against me, you must be with them".
And seeing that folks self-identifying as libertarian are often inveterate contrarians, this comes up a lot.
I've been stuck pointing out that people are wrong in their anti-Trump analysis quite a few times - simply because the analysis is deeply flawed. So despite being so anti-Trump that I was convinced that he wouldn't even get a single vote once the actual primaries began, I keep getting called a closet Trump supporter.
The smart thing to do would be to exorcise my "this is a stupid argument" demons and quit pointing out when people are being bat-shit crazy. But somehow I don't think that is in the cards.
3rd time I've posted this. Not familiar with this site at all, but there it is. Never have seen a comment there and not sure if anyone ever goes around there.
Being Libertarian
And no, it's not my blog and I'm not shilling for them. But people keep talking about leaving, so I assume looking for an alternative.
Thanks.
And- as reason writers and articles get cross posted to places like the Daily Beast and Vox and HuffPo for all I know, Gresham's Law (internet commenter edition) will take effect.
And besides, I have shit to attend to.
Thanks Obama.
Trump in a speech to service members told them that there are so many terrorist attacks that the "dishonest media" is not reporting them.
Going to be interesting to see how they wriggle out of that one. Either they are going to have to come up with a list of unreported attacks, or walk that back.
President Open-Mouth-Step-on-Dick opened his mouth again.
He should stick to Twitter, where stupid doesn't stand out quite as much.
Or, they could expand the definition of what's a terrorist attack. For example, perhaps a guy in a turban went past a local park giving young couples the 'you should fuck' sign of pumping his index finger repeatedly through a thumb-and-forefinger circle in his other hand, while moaning "Ohhhhhh, Akbar!"
I assume he's talking about the media's labeling of Maj Hasan's workplace violence and the workplace violence of the San Bernardino couple. Maybe even the hate crime/gun violence in Orlando.
Still, the dude needs a big freaking filter.
Going to be interesting to see how they wriggle out of that one. Either they are going to have to come up with a list of unreported attacks, or walk that back.
Trump has said that he gets his news from the "stories." We've assumed he means the news, but perhaps he means 24 (his source on the efficacy of torture), Designatec Survivor)...
I meant the "the programs," not "the stories" (although I imagine Trump spending his afternoon watching the soaps). That still doesn't change my thesis.
...he's not happy to have found out afterward.
So don't put away just yet those "when the president found out by reading the paper" jokes from the last administration, boys.
You could also go with "he had to sign the order to know what was in it"
It's Fake News?, Donald!
Reading is clearly not his strong suit. Or speaking, actually. He's not really much of a thinker, either. He pretty much has no redeeming qualities.
Now that I think about it, I'm hoping he's kept in the dark more
I still haven't put away my Gorbachev jokes.
On a country lane, Gobachev meets up with an old man carrying a melon.
Gorbachev offers to buy the melon. The man rubs it in the dirt and says, "Choose!"
"How can I choose when you've only one melon?" Gorbachev asks.
The man replies, "The same way we chose you."
BOOM!
I was fully expecting a bird to shit on the melon and then old man getting confused and trying to sell Gorbachev's head.

Berkeley thug hits someone who "looks like a Nazi" but is a Syrian Muslim
Honest condemnation of #Berkley violence must also condemn those who look like some idiot's idea of a Nazi. What's point except baiting n inciting in Trump's America?
Brilliant. She's never going to live that down, as well she shouldn't.
Fuck, I'm glad I've been too busy to read most of the articles lately. That sounds like some quality derp.
Not articles, she fired off a series of increasingly embarrassing anti-speech tweets inspired by the riots in Berkeley. She also retweeted something from Mary Stack. No, really, she did.
I'm hoping somebody starts selling shirts that say "THIS IS LIBRARY!' I'd buy one.
Holy. Shit.
Maybe he deserves just as much condemnation for looking so much like a Nazi that it triggered the peaceful protestor, who had no choice but to defend xerself.

Got kicked out of a female locker room for not covering her penis in January, got picture, name and story published in school paper before Milo gave his speech.
"non-conforming genitalia."
English is becoming unintelligible.
To be sure, non-conforming genitalia is a curse.
That may be, but they're still one hell of a band.
The story. Guy uses Title IX to force access to the women's locker room, a rather public action it seems to me, and then Milo mocks him for it. Student rage-quits university with a long, melodramatic letter that will not undo stereotypes about men who want to be women....
If you look at the article I linked, she decided to quit long before Milo decided to be an ass.
The Handschar Division was Bosniak, though, not Arab.
That's too complex for idiots on alt-right and ctrl-left.
Nice.
Can't claim credit, saw it on the Internet, found it very appropriate.
The obvious bias towards the protesters has me more likely to believe this really happened, but I still don't like the only facts in this story being a reporter's word.

This we see the result of cutting back on istory education...
"Because, you know, the media is famous for its tendency to downplay violence."
Ummm...wasn't this the same media that made the shooting at Fort Hood about 'work place violence'; Orlando shooting about 'guns'; and the San Bernadino shooting about 'Islamaphobia'? I'm going to have to go and say that Trump is right on this one. The media under reports terrorist attacks if it does not fit their narrative. In the cases I referred to, it undercut their narrative that President Obama was 'super awesome' and everything was fine, there was nothing to see.
The Media is not monolithic, seems you had no problem finding out that Fort Hood wasn't 'work place violence' and the real reason for the Orlando and San Bernadino shootings. Some outlets fudging facts doesn't equal no media coverage at all.
Some = most
Sure, if you define media as TV and major newspapers. Add in radio and smaller newsletter type things and the needle swings right. Add in the intertubes and I'm not certain that you could determine where most 'news sites' sit, hell you'd have a hard enough time simply trying to list all of 'em.
When people say, "The Media", they mean NYT, WaPo, CNN, NBC/CBS/ABC, etc. as you say, "TV and major newspapers"
we talked about it the other day and i do think there does need to be a new term for it (someone recommended "Prestige Media", but i don't know), because its far more specific in intent than your semantic-niggling seems to recognize.
That becomes rather circular, seem like you end up saying "these leftist news sources have a leftist bent", well no shit. If you use a general term for specific instances I can't be blamed if I fail to grok your meaning.
bless you
Nearly 100 tech companies, including the likes of Apple, Google, Netflix, and Uber, have signed a friend of the court brief opposing President Donald Trump's immigration executive orders.
That's because those Korporashuns want to keep the flow of orphans from Calcutta wide open.
I guess they didn't read the thing and see that India isn't on the list.
I hope someone is trolling them back, and saying,
"Damn right! Without employees immigrating from those countries, how else will each of you be able to drive down salaries for the American workers! We support cheap tech labor!"
Democrats are engaged in a final 24-hour push to try to keep Betsy DeVos, school choice advocate, to be named head of the Department of Education.
You could almost say they're going to War on (conservative) Women.
And they are anti-choice.
They're very pro-money-and-power-for-themselves, and everything else is just a rationalization.
They are literally using violence now if pushing is involved.
Why are all the red light camera companies out of Arizona?
The City of Chicago will not stand by while a company takes advantage of our taxpayers,
The taxpayers of Chicago will not stand by while corrupt public officials hand out illegal contracts while lining their own pockets.
Yes they will.
Apparently (not linking) Robt Reich now alleges the Berkeley Massacre to have been the work of none other than... Milo himself!!
Too bad Gorsuch hasn't been approved yet. Milo could challenge him to a duel.
Well, there was that time he protested himself while masked and hooded...
He has heard rumors that the rioters were a Britbart false flag operation. The man heard rumors Brooks. What more proof do you want?
What I don't get about this theory is that does that also mean that the attack on McInnes was also orchestrated by Breitbart? Were the riots during the inauguration also some right-wing false flag? Was the riot about Milo's visit at the University of Washington also more right-wing agitators?
What a stupid man Robert Reich is
My liberal friends' response to this has all been some variation of "sure this is bad but what about all of the right wing violence". When asked to name such violence, they mostly have pointed to how someone took a sharpie and drew a swastika on several NYC subway cars.
they mostly have pointed to how someone took a sharpie and drew a swastika on several NYC subway cars
And wouldn't be at all surprised if that was a "false flag" sort of thing as well.
He also pretends that there isn't a long track record of violence by leftist "protestors" going all the way back to the 1999 WTO riot in Seattle.
Chicago '68
I think that the police bear at least equal blame for that one.
"Why do you hold Berkeley to a higher standard than Texas or Alabama!"
Actual response I got from a friend.
Just look at the long history of left-wing violence in the US: it's always false-flag stuff from their opponents. Always. ALWAYS.
Uh, Scott....?

Trump: 'Dishonest press' won't report terrorist attacks
Speaking at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., Trump rattled off a series of strikes carried out by "radical Islamic terrorists," including Sept. 11 and the more recent violence in Orlando, Fla.; San Bernardino, Calif.; Paris; and Nice, France.
"It's gotten to a point where it's not even being reported," he told a group of senior commanders. "And in many cases, the very, very dishonest press doesn't want to report it."
http://thehill.com/homenews/ad.....st-attacks
What is this about terrorist attacks in San Bernidino and France? Does Reason know about them?
Wait, were they terrorist attacks? I thought the police were still searching for a motive on those.
It is impossible to ever know the motive for these things. Unless it is a white male, then everyone knows it is because of Fox News, Confederate flags and of course Trump!

Protesters in New Haven stop an ambulance from getting through. It had a critically ill patient and teh EMT had to do an emergency medical procedure in the ambulance instead of at the hospital. Their defense is a bit comical.
But an attorney representing the protesters said police are responsible for problems at the demonstration, including the delay of the ambulance stuck in traffic. Attorney Patricia Kane said protesters had asked police to inform them if emergency vehicles needed to get through ? and that officers didn't do so. Kane said she has been told the patient was a woman in labor.
How were they do know an ambulance needed to get through? It is not like those things are marked or have sirens and lights or anything.

It certainly decides which violence to play up, and which to play down. Is that even arguable? White kills black = Big news. Black kills white = Better play this down, lest it reinforce stereotypes. Etc., etc.
Know what? I'd like to have a beer - or even share a joint - with Alex Jones.
The guy is like just fucken like....
He needs to calm down.
That's what makes him fun.
If you ever read the book Them!, which is a surprisingly good read about conspiracy theorists and profiled Jones before he became well-known, it's alternately amusing and disturbing how much of a true believer he really is. A cynical Michael Savage-style poseur, he's not.
I saw an interview with Mike Judge? and i vaguely recalling him mention that they were personal friends. He seemed to suggest that he *wasn't* actually as crazy as his persona is.
Alex Jones keeps his money where the Illuminati does I'm sure by now.
Why All Protectionists Are Essentially Luddites
A nice and simple article to share with your liberty challenged friends.
Interesting.... if only to recall how the US Military was, by contrast, comparatively sensitive about adhering to Islamic standards of burial and treatment of bodies. Its just an illustration of what "anti-insurgent warfare" really looks like when the people doing it are defending their own country.
I saw that. The Iraqis don't seem to worried about the dreaded blowback do they? Apparently they don't read Reason or they would know doing that just creates more terrorists.
I really don't get that. We should publicly feed the corpses of (actual) terrorists to pigs. Become a terrorist, wind up as pigshit. As haram as haram ever gets. Don't pass Go, don't go to heaven, spend eternity as filth.
"The message is clear to Iraqis, to keep them from joining or supporting Daesh (Islamic State). This will be your fate. The Iraqi army will finish you off,"

Saddam sews socks that smell.
Here I am in Colorado, rockin my 80s rainbow onesie, drinking heavily, skiing gently, and partaking of the local legal delights.
Neener neener.
Pics or it isn't happening.
Is it 80s ski day? I'd prefer to wait for 70s ski day.
Fun fact, I saw a guy in an emerald green onesie on the slopes, and to the best of my ability to assess, he wasn't wearing it ironically.
I believe he went to the ski shop and thought-- this is sweet.
Old fart. Gimmie 80s any day.
Very nice!
Since I live here, your taunts are ineffectual. 🙂
Supposed to dump in the mountains this week. Unfortunately I ruptured my acl on the slopes a couple of weeks ago.
You should use indoor toilets until the knee heals up.
Ot- can anyone point me to a decent article about dood-frank and its affects?
The company at the center of a bribery scandal over Chicago's red-light camera program will be paying the city back $20 million.
FTA:
So which is it? The city or the taxpayers?
Ha. That reminds me of the great return we taxpayers earned on the GM bailout.
For no reason, here's some Orange Goblin.
they're good too. was it you the other day who linked to some rock from... some TV show soundtrack? i was thinking of Orange Goblin when asking if they fit the "Stoner" label. I like that record.
How about just plain ole Goblin? Awesome 70s prog rock. On mobile so hard to link to some of their music, but check them out.
I've sampled them before
Yeah Orange Goblin is - unequivocally - stoner rock. Like Kyuss, And yeah, it was Breaking Bad's soundtrack - Left Lane Cruiser.
LLC is...kinda, sorta stoner rock. If they had more 'spacey' effects, longer guitar solos, I'd see them as a better fit.
Sorry, misread your original comment.
Did a bunch of people boycott reason's comments? Whatever happened there? Did they create some sub-reddit or something?
A lot of commenters have left, for a variety of reasons, mostly dealing with Shihka Dalmia's anti-1A tweets where she conflated Berkeley violence with Milo Y's speech.
Just prior to WWII, German physicist Werner Heisenberg was urged by his American and British colleagues, as well as fellow Germans who had immigrated to America, that he should get out of Germany while the getting was good. Heisenberg said that he had to stay in Germany, the country he loved, so that he could be there to help rebuild after the inevitable loss. (BTW, there's pretty good evidence that he intentionally derailed the Nazi pursuit of a nuclear bomb so that they would never have it.)
I feel a little the same about Reason. Do we leave it, or stay behind to rebuild?

Do tech companies get a bunch of help from unstable countries like syria, libya, sudan, somalia, yemen, and i forget the other?
Their grand standing really annoys me how they won't do business in places that promote bigotry (like indiana and NC). ok fine...so why you doing business in saudia arabia which actually has real grievances against the gays?
Re: American Socialist,
Countries don't 'help'. Only human individuals of will can work for a company and thus help.
You know, Trumpistas have this penchant for collectivist arguments as well. They think that keeping make-believe Buggy Whip jobs will help the (mythical) "American Worker(TM)" and thus help Make America Great Again.
I am talking about the people there as the argument has been the ban is hurting the economy. Id like to know how that is exactly
Your post doesnt make any sense. If they are make believe in first place then what is the concern from you?
Also wouldn't ya be collectivising trumpistas here or does it not count when you do it?
When will the progs start eating the tech companies after they learn of their massive profits
