    Happy New Year!!!

    1. invisible furry hand   8 years ago

Yes, but mostly just for the sudoku, or to line their stalls

  3. Thymirus   8 years ago

Unser gro?er Erretter wird seinem Volk die unsterblichen Gebote der sozialistischen Ideologie lehren.

Ein Reich, ein F?hrer. Es lebe der ewige Pr?sident! Es lebe Barack Obama!

    1. Will4Freedom   8 years ago

Couldn't have said it better myself.

      1. Will4Freedom   8 years ago

        [That was sarcasm, right?]

        1. UnCivilServant   8 years ago

No I think it was German, so there are probably six different terms for sarcasm, each with a difference in meaning so subtle no one outside of Germany would be able to tell them apart.

          1. Swiss Servator   8 years ago

            Wirklich?

            1. invisible furry hand   8 years ago

I didn't fight and die in five world wars only to read German snark

              1. Swiss Servator   8 years ago

But I said it with a Swiss accent!

                1. Ted S.   8 years ago

I'm other words, you didn't say it in German at all.

          2. sasob   8 years ago

Are you quite certain it was not sauerkraut? Or maybe sore kraut?

        2. Thymirus   8 years ago

Yeah. I was mocking the singularly cultish proponents of Il Douche's reign.

          1. ScareCroWoodChippeRepair   8 years ago

Il Douche? Why not mock Italian?

    2. Kurmudgeonly Kristen   8 years ago

Der Esel nennt sich immer zuerst (that's about 80% of the Deutsch I know)

    3. creech   8 years ago

      Left off the "Sieg Heil."

  4. Cyto   8 years ago

Funny premise.... minus the notion that the Democrats as a group are aware that Obama actually cost them. As the only popular Democrat politician at the moment, I think their opinion of him is quite the opposite.

In fact, I think they are still in a self-delusion that Hillary is awesome and "the people" are really with her (if only the racists and the Russians hadn't stolen the election).

So personifying DNC interests as a separate entity from actual DNC people creates a little dissonance.... as you read it and assimilate the joke you also are going "yeah, but no Democrat is actually thinking that".

    1. Trigger Hippie   8 years ago

I think quite a few actually do believe that and very well may be right. Not that the governorships and state seats are complete non sequiturs in the argument but it seems to me that most Democrats' political energy is spent on who we send to Washington. Considering their inherent belief that as much power as possible should be held at the federal level it makes sense, in a twisted way, that they would have a greater shot at the presidency and congressional seats while losing big at the local and state level.

      1. dantheserene   8 years ago

It's kind of tough to groom for the national level without success at the local and state level.
Yes, I intentionally avoid the sports analogies to appeal to a wider audience.

Of course, after having said that, I get this song stuck in my head.

Out of Touch and out of time, indeed.

      1. invisible furry hand   8 years ago

        obligatory

        1. Ted S.   8 years ago

          Say it isn't so.

    3. Kurmudgeonly Kristen   8 years ago

I think those in the inner, inner power structure of the DNC are aware of the costs of Obama. Rank and file are still on board, if my Facederp feed is anything to go by.

  5. Rich   8 years ago

This is a very disrespectful cartoon. Everyone knows the President quit smoking years ago.

    1. Will4Freedom   8 years ago

      Yes, but he didn't inhale.

  6. Swiss Servator   8 years ago

Somewhere our trolls are fapping at attack speed.

    1. Will4Freedom   8 years ago

Hey! I may be short, hair and have bad breath, but that doesn't mean i'm a T... oh, okay.

      1. Will4Freedom   8 years ago

        hairy... I meant hairy.

WHERE IS THE STUPID EDIT BUTTON!!!!!

How do they know homo sapiens didn't eat 'em? That's about the time we were entering Europe. Poor Neanderthals. They need safe spaces and bubble machines for all the crap they get from the cis sapien patriarchy!!

      1. AdamJ   8 years ago

Maybe their plane crashed next to this cave and they were stuck there and had no choice but to eat the dead.

    2. UnCivilServant   8 years ago

Even if it proves cannibalism, it doesn't prove that it wasn't mortuary endocannibalsim, which endured in 'sapiens' well into the 20th centory (and may still be going on regardless of the prion risks)

    3. BigT   8 years ago

George Donner could prove the same for homo hungry.

    4. creech   8 years ago

That picture is triggering. How dare you use Uncle Fred's likeness to illustrate a cannibal!

  8. Rasilio   8 years ago

Thing is I'm pretty sure Obama is right.

While the Democrats remain largely unpopular and to the extent they have ideas and run on them (the typical Democrat campaign is far more about demonizing the Republican than can be said about Republicans demonizing the democrats) those ideas are not particularly popular for some reason Obama is himself personally very popular.

Had Obama been allowed to run again he absolutely would have beaten Trumpand I think he probably would have beaten pretty much any Republican except possibly Fiorina (first woman president and not objectively evil like Hillary) and Paul
