Hillary Clinton releases her 2015 tax returns but not more e-mails or her paid speeches.
Dead broke!
Hello.
Hello
If you don't count the $7.3 million they pulled in via speaking fees.
As long as she doesn't make us look at her burquini photos.
Apparently, 96% of her $1mm in charitable donations went to the Clinton Foundation.
http://dailycaller.com/2016/08.....dium=ICYMI - Media - Conservative&utm_campaign=ICYMI - Politics
It gets even better:
The other $42,000 contribution was to Desert Classic Charities. That group hosts an annual PGA golf event.

If this isn't a hanging curve over the plate for Trump, I don't know what would be.
Is he savvy enough to make anything of it?
How hilarious would it be if the PGA event was at a golf course he owns?
Was it PGA or LPGA?
LPGA would bring up a lot of other interesting scuttlebutt.
"If this isn't a hanging curve over the plate for Trump, I don't know what would be."
WHIFF!
I'm going to make a wild bet here - his contributions are to his foundation as well.
So she donated to her election campaign. Good move; smart tax attorneys, looking out for the working man.
Madoff went to jail, Tom & Daisy make millions
OH, LOOK WHO'S BACK IN THE PM LINKS.
Stability has returned to your life.
CLINTONS MADE $238M SINCE LEAVING WH 'DEAD BROKE'...
For some perspective LeBron James just signed a three year contract for $100M, but his team's owners will earn that back because of what he will do for them. I wonder who will earn back the $2138M that the Clintons made?
Nigeria?
Saudi Arabia?
Mark Rich?
Cuba?
Oprah?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Palin: I may be broke but I'm not flat busted.
Hitlery: I'll make you broke and I haven't been busted....yet.
Jill Stein is closer to getting on the ballot in three more states.
The states? North Denial, West Delusion and Delaware.
Everyone in Delaware has a Biden/Obama sticker somewhere.
The commander of the U.S. Army in Europe says Russia should allow observers to its military drills in and near Crimea.
Sounds legit.
A federal judge in Wisconsin ordered Brendan Dassy*, the subject of Making a Murderer, released from prison.
Free Harambe next.
*DassEy
I owe Charles Easterly an apology for a response I made yesterday evening to one of his comments on the PM links.
Charles, I'm sorry. My reply was mean-spirited and unhelpful.
Realizing that the Friday PM links are poorly read I'll repost this on the Monday PM links.
What is this: integrity, an apology and cordiality? Am I even still on the internet??
Seriously, that is classy. You're a better man than I.
More common on H&R than its reputation might suggest.
Damn, Tonio...classy
You piqued my curiosity so I had a look, and... wow. How you expected him to fit a bowling pin there, let alone administering it with a hammer drill... that does seems harsh.
Sounds like he should get points for creativity, at least.
A federal judge in Wisconsin ordered Brendan Dassy, the subject of Making a Murderer, released from prison.
Wait until he finds out that Netflix now charges you separately for discs and streaming.
What's a disc?
Its one of those things in your back that might slip if you do your squats wrong.

Do you know who else had a plan?

"Automatic weapon" - like most grabbers he doesn't know what he's talking about, and this in the first sentence.
How many phaser-deaths? Zero. Notice lack of phasers outside StarFleet? That's called common sense phaser control. Science so hard for deniers.
And I would tell the students to go fuck themselves.
If a college student an afford an automatic weapon, they're probably not in college because they're incredibly rich?
Surmise the Lies?
Winner.
"Hey! You should absolutely take my argument seriously, even though I've compared a completely nonsensical scenario about brandishing an automatic weapon to a personal defense situation you most likely would never be aware of!"
Who's wearing the false hood?
There would be infinite screams from students and parents were faculty to bring automatic weapons to the classroom, do a check in front of the class, and then set the loaded weapon at the ready on or next to the lectern.
In Texas? Maybe, but I doubt it.
More like, an impromptu after-class session on the relative merits of the professor's heater and those of various students.
That sounds like a beginning of Larry Correia short story (would read)!
As a UT alum, I know one of my chem profs liked to make gummi bears burst into flame and show off his home made thermite in the class to keep the kids interested.
Concealed carry of a handgun versus doing a safety check and placing of a SAW or M-60 next to the lectern? TOTALLY THE SAME THING, GUYS!
Concealed carry of a handgun versus doing a safety check and placing of a SAW or M-60 next to the lectern?
Noam Chomsky wields M60, falls down.
There would be infinite screams from students and parents were faculty to whip their tiny dicks out, wave them in front of the class, and then lean back in their chair with their nuts plopped on the desk for the entire lecture. Students would feel threatened, and rightly so. Yet faculty are expected to remain quiet and accept meekly when students are carrying dicks in their pants?
I'm looking pretty hard for topless French sunbathers in that picture and not finding any. F--
We were in Europe this summer and actually heard from locals that topless bathing is 'going out of style'. (sob)
The U.S. women's soccer team loses to Sweden in Rio.
At least they were all good sports about it.
Hope Solo: Domestic violence perpetrator.
And butthole selfie taker...
Good band name.
I feel like the Butthole Selfies would get a C&D from the Butthole Surfers. Then fans would be angry at the Surfers for being the Man.
This ain't gonna help the salary negotiaitons.

"Bring me Solo and the Wookiee. They will all suffer for this outrage!"
Turbulence on a Jet Blue flight to Sacramento injured 24 people.
I saw the movie Turbulence when it came out. It made a lot more than only 24 people sick in that theater, I can tell you. (That's right, a shot at Ray Liotta from out of nowhere.)
And it was just one more mini-crater in his face. Ray didn't even blink.

Tech Companies Apple, Twitter, Google, and Instagram Collude to Defeat Trump
...Wikileaks founder Julian Assange said Clinton made a deal with Google and that the tech giant is "directly engaged" in her campaign. It's been widely reported Clinton hired Eric Schmidt?chairman of Alphabet, the parent company of Google?to set up a tech company called The Groundwork. Assange claims this was to ensure Clinton had the "engineering talent to win the election." He also pointed out that many members of Clinton's staff have worked for Google, and some of her former employees now work at Google.
So it should come as no surprise that there have been multiple reports accusing Google of manipulating searches to bury negative stories about Clinton. SourceFed details how Google alters its auto-complete functions to paint Clinton in a positive light.
For example, when you type "Hillary Clinton cri" into other engines like Yahoo! or Bing, the most popular autofills are "Hillary Clinton criminal charges" but in Google it's "Hillary Clinton crime reform." Google denies they changed their algorithm to help Clinton, and insists the company does not favor any candidate. They also claim their algorithms don't show predicted queries that are offensive or disparaging....
Time to switch to duck duck go.
I was using them for the last few weeks, but I just didn't get the (quality of) returns I seemed to get with Google*
*not porn, but not news, either.
Bing is generally better than Google.
For an interesting twist on searching, try Bananaslug (when it's back on line after maintenance).
Yeah, that would just get Google banned from Twitter.
"Hillary Clinton criminal charges" but in Google it's "Hillary Clinton crime reform." Google denies they changed their algorithm to help Clinton
This denial would be credible only if the majority of "Hillary Clinton cri" searches are people who want to look at her platform for criminal justice reform. Which seems unlikely, to me.
Same as when the results were showing "Hillary Clinton Indiana something" instead of "Hillary Clinton indictment".
"Would you look at the butt on that?"
"Yeah, he must workout."

Ah...yeah, sorry, cop uniforms are a turnoff for me.
- 1 Village Person
Some of the worst cop-encounters i've ever had was with female-cops. they don't respond to the same general "aw, come on, really?" thing quite the same way.
+1 Cannonball Run.
I had once an encounter with a plainclothed, female member of the NYPD who did not appreciate the way I blew her off at first (because she was not in uniform) and immediately became physical with me and threatened me with her gang of 40,000. The appropriate response to that, as I later learned, is not "what the fuck is wrong with you?"
She probably wanted her kid back.
Donald Trump says he was being sarcastic about President Obama founding ISIS.
Next up: Trump says he "can't believe all you idiots fell for it".
That response could be applied to anything he's said in the last year. Hope he knows that he needs to use it sparingly if it's going to work.

Everyone knows that is Stewie Griffin's voice.

Meh. Anyone can even *dissolve* a small cloud using only xir mind.

Um, only if "square" refers to a mushroom. Otherwise, I think you nailed it, buddy!

Ex-UN President 'Conveniently' Crushes His Own Throat Before Clinton-Linked Federal Case Starts
http://thefreethoughtproject.c.....A2YYjpO.99
Survey. Re deaths around the Clintons.
Coincidence (s) or something more?
Well, to be fair -- these are just the deaths we know about.
Two possibilities:
1. They know a very, very good hit man who has been working for them for 40 years and staying silent.
2. There are multiple people involved and somehow know one has spilled the beans.
As #2 is not plausible, and I put a very low percentage on #1, I think we have to assume coincidence.
But if it turns out to be #1, I won't be surprised.
Third possibility, all but one or two of them are coincidences. Fourth possibility, surrogates are whacking off for her.
Surrogates are whacking off for her ?
Too easy. You did that on purpose.
There are other possibilities*
A succession of ex military or other professionals retained through a cutout or two. Their first job is the person who's job they are taking, although they might not know that.
There are people from the Clinton inner circle who went to jail rather than roll over on them in court.
*Dons tin foil fedora at a jaunty angle
They've certainly lost a lot of security people over the years.
Strictly speaking, I think some guy came out and said that he worked as a hitman for the Clintons. Of course, he has neither been charged, nor whacked, AFAIK, so...
Sometimes I suspect the Clintons might have more full time hitmen on the payroll than the CIA.
Today on "shit JB's prog friends share", someone who's never actually talked to a libertarian.
Your friend may be honestly clueless, but there are many people who deliberately mischaracterize libertarian goals. First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they debate you, then you win. I think we're somewhere between "laugh at" and "debate."
"OK weed is legal, what else you guys got?"
A friend of your friend read the intro to Atlas Shrugged and told your friend about it over beer one Friday night. At least that's what my friend says about such clueless twits.
how about all the other civil liberties which both Democrats and Republicans are constantly trying to crush?
All these progs think that Snowden is part of "their team". They don't know what their own team is actually about. Anti-War? Pro-liberty? neither major party can make a claim to either.
OK weed is legal, what else you guys got?
Mexicans and ass sex, duh.
How on earth would young people find a 'do as you like' philosophy cooler than an ideology obsessed with micromanaging or approving every aspect of your life if it wasn't about weed?
In short:

I provided a link! HA!
Coward.
My dream girl keeps on impressing me: Sore losers! USA goalie Hope Solo rants 'we lost to a bunch of cowards' after women's soccer team is knocked OUT of Olympics by Sweden in penalty kicks and loses 4-3
Now you're not going to get that raise you want either, Toots. We reward winning in America.
Oh shut up, Hans Solo.
I can't stand crap like 'the better team didn't win'. Next time WIN.
To be fair, "the better team didn't win" is a fact of life in soccer. Most players aren't such poor sports about it, though.
Really? Final score is all that matters.
Of course. But with such low scores the better team often doesn't win.
I don't know why they even bother playing 90 minutes plus 30 minutes of overtime. They should just give the Win the the better team.
Sweden shot first!!
(or at least 'shot better')
Good, maybe they'll televise a sport I care about next week.
First the bikini team and now a soccer team. Is there anything those Swedish girls can't do?

It's tentacle porn
my dad lives in Cville (where Khan is from). Apparently he has a long history of 'handing out little constitutions' to people. like his son's graduation from UVA, public meetings, etc.
sure, the one he waved around at the DNC might have been provided for him, but the way they're spinning it in that article is bullshit.
and for the record, i hate the guy and his bullshit comment, not because i love trump, but because nothing is so galling is "constitutional pretensions" by political parties which routinely try and shred the goddamn thing.
and because you love Trump.
Dennis loves Trump. Gilmore is cool.
and you got that impression from what?
Is he opposed to the secular caliphate?
THIS on the other hand...
if that's true, i think it should be publicized, and it shows how scummy the whole thing was.
Why? I don't get the indignation that the guy is shilling against Trump. From the way I've seen critics tell it, he's posturing as some objective third party who hates Trump, when actually he's a Democratic shill! But... he had a prime speaking spot at the DNC. It's obvious from the start that he's campaigning for the DNC. So what's the problem?
And why shouldn't he get as much cash as he can from the idiots running the DNC?
This guy says it better than me
Still don't get the fuss. I'm not saying they can't be criticized. I don't get why paying them, or their prior history with the Clintons and the Democratic party, are supposed to matter. Again, to everyone not in the arena last night, it's clear that they are partisans using their son's death to hit the other side. There are good ways and bad ways to respond to that, and just because Trump is incapable of grasping any of the good ways isn't the fault of the Khans or the DNC.
i have no idea what you're asking from me then.
he's a scumbag, he misrepresents the constitution, i hope he is exposed as a shill.
If you don't agree, that's fine. Its your prerogative to not give a shit.
as to your comment insisting "i love trump".....
i'd think the comment i made above about Khan shows i will criticize "stupid attacks" even when i vehemently dislike the subject being attacked.
Its a little retarded that the same people who insist that "constantly harping about trump doesn't make Reason pro-hillary".... yet, if you complain about the 24/7 trump-focus? - and in particular, the petty, lowbrow-sniping nature of the majority of it... well, that means you are a Trump-fan by default.
and frankly, between the few people who are actually sort of pro-trumpish (john, SIV, vampire, et al)? and the people who collectively whine en-masse in advance of their comments? i find the latter more boring.
if i'm anything at all, i'm a proponent of "pluralism". I think its not just "Ok" for people to disagree - i think any healthy place SHOULD have lots of disagreement. When anyplace is reduced to collectivizing other people's views and regularly engaging in intellectual dishonesty and cliquishness.... its a bad sign. i was happier when people here were permitted to have their own opinions without being categorized.
my $.02

There's also the bit about 'waving the constitution around' and pretending it says anything about immigration.
"Dad, you made me so proud how you used my death to milk money from corrupt political parties who shit all over the constitution i died to defend"
First it was the minimum wage, now Seattle votes for deep-dish pizza
What is that in the picture? Sloppy Joe?
Looks good though.

What do you mean?
You're from Seattle, aren't you?
Huh?
Who is your Designated Hugger?
Why is it pronounced Sea-attle? Why not 'seetle'? I mean, we don't say 'The Be-attles', right?
RIGHT?
I pronounce it "Be-attles". But I also pronounce reality "reel-ity".
I pronounce it "Ruttles".

Now scream the name of any other city.
Doesn't sound as good.

Hillary Clinton talked about the work she does to maintain her health while on the campaign trail, in a new podcast released on Friday.
"But I also ... try to eat right, not always succeeding but try, try to get enough sleep, try to get exercise. Now I'm not going to pretend that I like it because I don't but between yoga and walking, getting on the treadmill, some weights, I try to keep up."
Emphases added. Sounds tough, but I suppose it's less difficult than always trying to tell the truth.
Apparently she wants the debates to be done seated, not standing...?
Once in a while she does wild neck exercises that look like seizures but aren't?
I see this on Breitbart, but don't know how much stock to put in it: http://www.breitbart.com/tech/.....-disease/.

Fun revelation from Hillary's tax returns:
Over 2013-2015, the Clintons donated $7,142,700 to charity.
$7,060,000 of that was donated to the Clinton Foundation.
It's basically a money-laundering operation.
It's basically entirely a money-laundering operation.
Their influence peddling division is going to make a comeback soon.
"Charity begins at home."
On a related note, I remember Penn and Teller's Bullshit! did a bit on carbon credits. They showed that Al Gore bought carbon credits to offset his high-energy lifestyle. Those carbon credits came from his own company.
How much are they paid to administer the Clinton Foundation? I think I remember that 90+% of its money is spend on 'administration'.
I had heard that only 10% gets spent on "charitable" activity. (which I'm sure can include the "charity" of some crony housing development scam, etc.) It's possible a significant part of the other 90% is just not spent (read: slush fund). It should be renamed the "Clinton Family Trust Fund".
Of that $7,060,000 somewhere between 10% to 30% actually went to charity and the rest went to admin. which we all know means salaries ( payoffs) to the chosen few.*

Hugo Boss furry porn would be a better description. It's mostly just BDSM stuff where people liked how the uniforms looked but don't actually share ideology or political goals. Usually all the insignias get replaced with smiley faces or hearts to make that clear.
Welp, that's enough internet for me today. How much vodka is it going to take to erase *this* from my memory?

I suppose arming ISIS could technically be considered that...
By arresting people who made videos showing the wrong views on religion.
But whether you hear the phrase "religious freedom" and shudder, every political pundit agrees that Clinton's column is primarily aimed at winning over Mormon voters in Utah.

Migrants arriving in Italy face yet another ordeal: EU's toughened internal borders
Hilarious quote from pro-migrant article:
Technically he MUST request asylum in Italy, it being the first safe country he entered.
Stupid fuckin' Merkel cant wait for him to show up.
Except for the bit where she tightened the border with Austria. Which tightened the border with Slovenia. After Hungary put up a fence, and migrants chose to walk 400+ kilometers rather than bypass it.
After Hungary put up a fence
I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing minefields before too much longer.
You only have to shoot one or two migrants before the boats stop coming and you'd have just that many fewer sunken boats. A show of balls would be 1,000 times more effective than borders with fences and border guards handing out provisions, with fewer dead migrants, fewer raped European women, fewer terrorist attacks and fewer welfare leeches. It's a win for everybody that has a right to a win.
Italy's internal chaos is what's gonna save them.
Hasn't that been true since Theoderic the Goth packed off Romulus Augustulus?
Pretty much.
The Risorgimento romantically tried to rectify all that but hey...Italia!
I've been reading about the history of Eastern Roman Empire and there's a theory that the differences between North and South of Italy stem from all the way back in pre-Empire days when the southern are was full of Greek colonies, but were reinforced when Sicily and Southern Italy were ERE (i.e. Greek)-controlled, while the North (save Venice) was run by Goths and then Lombards and Franks. Normans taking over the former ERE provinces in the South and kicking Arabs out of Sicily cemented the divide.
Yup. And I'll add that one of the most under heralded aspect of Italian civilization is its engineering feats and here they likely influenced the Germanics thanks to its Roman heritage.
About Greek/Italian connections, look into 'Una faccia una razza'.
Disturbing Lesson from Christian Workbook Discusses Why God Allowed a Little Boy to "Be Molested"
...God will severely judge the fifteen year old boy for the evil that he did. However, your son can turn what was meant for evil into good. The vaccinations we receive for various diseases contains a small amount of the actual disease. Our immune system builds up a reaction to it so that if our body is exposed to the disease, it is prepared to fight it off. A similar result can occur in the life of your son if this matter handled in a Scriptural way....

Yeah, well , if you throw a bunch of money at some poor people, you will improve their lives. Until the money runs out.
Oh come on. The money doesn't run out. It keeps coming in bigger and bigger denominations. It's the capitalists who hoard that just won't take the money that are the real problem!

It's remarkable example of mealy-mouthed, two-faced, oh-so-kind-and-gentle warmongering, which basically asks, given their unparalleled barbarity, why are Americans not bombing to save humanity?
And of course, if the U.S. had actually acted when the 'red line' was crossed, Canadian journalists would be decrying American savagery and warmongering. While also pretending that Canada's glorious record of peacekeeping is perfect and wonderful.
That's the game!
I wonder if this is now coming up because Obama's term is ending. It was weird seeing a trailer for Oliver Stone's Snowden film that establishes the US as the most evil thing in the world before Jason Bourne, in which US is the villain (and name-checks Snowden in a way that makes little sense in-universe). Both took me completely by surprise.
Oh man, I saw the Snowden trailer months ago with a bunch of programmers. They burst out laughing at the COPY EVERYTHING! moment. At the end of the trailer we almost got kicked out because one of them yelled 'Jesus Christ, Stone' at the screen.
I think it's adorable, how they keep trying to make using computers look like anything even remotely interesting. Bourne was full of that stuff: "If I log into this cell phone, I can delete the files from the laptop". Three "firewall" progress bars later, she's in. Laptop screen turns black and it powers down instantly.
People always bitch about the dumb NCIS scenes, but I think this scene from Scorpion is the most gloriously dumb 'hacking as action' scene in Western media.
Was expecting a "M as in Mancy" line.
Archer is much closer to real-life computing than most action-thriller-cop stuff.
Cyril putting the virus into system (which bypassed all the defenses), and "password? have you tried...Guest" is uncomfortably true to real-life.
WTF.

Anthony Weiner: Ex-Sexting Partner of Former New York Congressman Says He Continues Sexting Other Women
the real loser is [Weiner's wife] Huma [Abedin]."
Yeah, I'll bet Huma's feeling real down about all this whenever she gives Hillary a sponge bath.

This is pretty explosive and it nearly gets nothing around the world.

He said Hillary and Obama were co-founders.
Who needed the sarcasm pointed out?!
Gay. Fish.

I'm all for freedom and it is conceivable that all f that cloth could hinder / injure someone during a rescue. I took a canoe trip in high school and part of the prep was to learn how to, in the water, remove as much clothing as fast as possible so as not to be weighted down.
U.S. drone kills Islamic State leader for Afghanistan, Pakistan: officials
Police charged Kathleen Steele, 62, with aggravated manslaughter of a child after they say her 6-year-old son beat her 13-day-old daughter to death while unsupervised in a van Monday.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Steele, who was pregnant with her 6-year-old son at the age of 55, was also on the reality show "Pregnant and...", Gualtieri said.
Two generations of imbeciles is enough.
Steele, who was pregnant with her 6-year-old son at the age of 55,
Holy crap. We usually induce or do a C-section within a few weeks after the due date.
A 55 year-old's oven doesn't getting very hot so it takes 6 years for the bun to finish.
WikiLeaks Is Getting Scarier Than the NSA
Oh, I see. Now that Wikileaks is going after the Democrats they're scary.
These people are incredible.
This same hysteria is all over the media. Every single major news outlet is singing off the same sheet of music.
honestly, i hope hillary wins. and i hope a large slice of the population becomes so cynical about the news media that they're never taken seriously ever again.
Well, G, if Hillary wins, that will be a good sign that not-a-large slice of the population has become cynical about the media.
I think hillary WILL win, but largely because Bernie voters decide that Team Blue uber alles over-rides any other concern.
But i suspect many of them are equally sickened by the sycophancy and corruption of the media, and its collusion w/ the DNC (*which has hardly been touched upon here, i'd add)
its one of the few 'breaths of fresh air' you see in liberal-site comments. there is a non-insubstantial number of people who think their own side has become too grossly-obsessed with power above all else, and willingly sacrifices everything they claim to believe while pursuing it.
i don't think they'll become libertarians in the process - not by a long shot - but they may lose their faith in the institution we call "journalism" to a degree that may actually be 'healthy'.
Poll: Young Americans overwhelmingly favor LGBT rights
According to the findings, 92 percent of young adults support HIV and AIDs prevention,
What that's doing in a survey about gay rights, I have no idea. Honestly.
90 percent support equal employment,
One suspects that mean "privileges" not "rights", in this context.
and 80 percent support LGBT adoption.
Finally, an actual right.
What do the 8% who don't support AIDS and HIV prevention not believe in germ theory?
honestly, i hope hillary wins. and i hope a large slice of the population becomes so cynical about the news media that they're never taken seriously ever again.
What if Trump became President and the world did not end?
What if Trump became President and handed day-to-day operations over to a team of professional managers? He's not hanging out in the counting room of some casino, or supervising backhoe operators on some job site, and probably never has.

Thanks so much for the Olympics spoilers. It's not like I'm coming to reason.com specifically because it's unlikely to spoiler me on the Olympics, or anything.
If you don't have enough to worry about, find something.
Such trivia would scarcely summon a yawn from a layperson, but to a constitutional lawyer like Kalt, it was a flapping red flag. Kalt knew that Article III of the Constitution requires federal criminal trials to be held in the state in which the crime was committed. And the Sixth Amendment entitles a federal criminal defendant to a trial by jurors living in the state and district where the crime was committed. But if someone committed a crime in the uninhabited Idaho portion of Yellowstone, Kalt surmised, it would be impossible to form a jury. And being federal land, the state would have no jurisdiction. Here was a clear constitutional provision enabling criminal immunity in 50 square miles of America's oldest national park.
Why even worry about jurisdictional complexities, when it would be easy enough to "lose" somebody in the vast wilderness which is Yellowstone. If the body remains undiscovered (by humans) even for a week or two, cause and manner of death are likely to be an insoluble mystery.
"I don't know. I had a headache from staring at the glare off the water, and headed back. She said she wanted to stay and fish for a while."

So yesterday in the links, cliche informed me that Denver/Colorado meet ups are a thing.
Looking at setting one up, Wondering what days work best and who might be interested.
I'd be in.
Thing is, Trump was right under either interpretation. The second amendment is, along with the rest of BoR, a different creature from the rest of the Constitution, in that it is a reiteration of natural rights, not subject to judicial override. A president and judiciary that felt comfortable trying to enact a final ban would be a legitimate reason for "the 2nd amendment people" to deal with the problem.
More common on H&R than even its reputation might suggest.
I see what you did there, I LOLed.
Sometimes it is weird to comment when sober.

Yes, I am visiting California at the moment and have gone 5 days so far without my intoxicant of choice. I am not amused.

Well given that one can by liquor and weed in CA, one has to wonder...
Maror, the bitter herb.
I thought horseradish was the bitter herb.
Maror, the bitter herb
Shaka, when the walls fell.
I found liquor. But for weed, they wanted a card which was not available to visitors.
There's no horseradish in Egypt.
