Trump also kicked a crying baby out of one of his rallies.
I had a priest who did the same thing. Wouldn't vote for him, either.
Wow. Trump is really trying to get my support.
He was actually pretty funny there. "I think she really believed me that I like having a baby crying while I'm speaking".
City of Philadelphia suddenly flips to Trump...
When my brother was an infant he started crying at Yom Kippur services during the Rabbi's sermon. Everyone laughed. And he didn't get kicked out (my mom did walk out of the room with him after the Rabbi joked about it).
I bet the baby shut his yappy mouth when the mohel came out.
No, that gave him something to cry about.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eb1qQnfs-Y
So, basically, your mother sat there until the problem was pointed out to her publicly? So she didn't have to be told *explicitly* but a pretty strong hint was still needed?
How far did the baby fly?
Actually, I'm with Trump on this one. Parents think they have the right to inflict their kids on all and sundry, everywhere. Get a babysitter.
Trump also kicked a crying baby out of one of his rallies.
That baby? Jeb Bush.
BOO!
You don't say ?
I LOL'd. Then F'd up and used a reserved HTML char.
These masturbation euphemisms are getting pretty technical.
If you are charring it, you are going too far.
Trump kicked a baby?
I have to give you credit; that is pretty awesome and funny.
I would have kicked the baby out as well.
Donald Trump fulfills dreams of Tea Partiers everywhere, promises half a trillion dollars in need stimulus spending on infrastructure.
Yeah, roads leading out of the country. USE THEM.
You first.
I don't care which one of you go first, just as long as you both go.
He's going to make Mexico pay for that infrastructure.
Not safe spaces, but libido-killing affirmative consent every step of the way.
May I take off your bra?
May I touch your boobs?
...
"May i tune in Tokyo?"
What's the frequency, Kenneth?
Safe spaces, naturally, are to blame.
I suspect the safe space of sitting in front of an internet device with your pants around your ankles may have some play here as well.
Again with the euphemisms.
You think mere verbal consent is ok? Why that evil predatory male could just lie, No we need written consent forms, signed and notarized, before anyone even considers sexual intercourse.
Even that's not enough.
Well in the event of a rape allegation a female's testimony will be considered equal to that of 4 males.
^Thread winner!

So those Title IX folks are really in the pocket of big bukake?
Perhaps bodycams then?
"See, your honor! She said YES the whole time!"
But who does the slow motion replay favor?
How about QR codes on each erogenous zone? A quick scan with the phone and you are in the clear for a specified time period. You could even set an alarm for when your time period is about to expire (something I personally would not need), and do a quick re-scan before continuing.
Might as well go with fem-bots.
Picture a future where the genders go their separate ways, get gay married to raise their own kids, or stay single and hump robots. Kids conceived solely through artificial insemination.
HELLO BRAVE NEW WORLD
Sadly, I think this is very close to what will actually happen.
The whole haploid/diploid thing is outdated.
You could even set an alarm for when your time period is about to expire (something I personally would not need)
You suffer from premature ejaculation?
It's not premature from my point of view.
Just because you get off on ejaculating before you can stick it in your partner's orifice doesn't mean your partner gets off on it.
South Park did it.
Just make her climb on top.
Hello, I'm off early
Is this one of those masturbation euphemisms I keep hearing about?
DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU TO HELL!
That one of them euphemisms I keep hearing about?
Wow, that was too close for comfort. Your inner self must have "felt" the comment and wrote the same thing, thinking it was a unique thought.
They sell treatments for that, you know.
Not abstract enough.
"Trump also kicked a crying baby out of one of his rallies."
Dammit! Just when I thought there was no way in hell I could vote for him, you print this. I guess I'll give him another look.
The question they have to ask themselves is: If you are repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what he has said is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing him?
Either unendorse him or completely ignore his shortcomings. The Democrats have chosen the latter for their nominee.
Hillary lied about her email setup. She was reckless with national security.
BUT... I'll endorse her, because, yes, we can!
They hope she'll change!
Yes the hypocrisy on this is truly incredible.
There are those that say, if you are repeatedly having to investigate in very strong terms what your candidate has done, why are you still endorsing her?
Holy shit, he is tone deaf. I think Donny is as disgusting as anyone, but these people who think saying bad things is worse than doing bad things, are crazy.
Either way we're getting fucked. I just hope to enjoy some nice salty Proggy tears while I'm getting fucked. Vote Trump 2016, enjoy some tears with your fucking.
Totally. I just don't get it. I'm voting GayJay, but I'd much rather see Trump win over Hillary. He'd be absolutely neutered by Congress and in four years we'd have another president. Clinton has actually done bad, bad things with no remorse or self-analysis and is promising to do them again, and Congress will go right along with her. "Wrong within normal parameters" just means that she'll be able to do the wrong things and nobody will stop her.
"... why are you still endorsing him (her)?"
Did anybody pose that question to Bernie?
If you are repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what he has said is unacceptable,...
Why is the democratic party still endorsing you?
"Don't worry about that baby. I love babies," Trump said after hearing the baby crying during an aside about the trade imbalance. "Don't worry about it. I love babies. I hear that baby crying, I like it. What a baby. What a beautiful baby. Don't worry, don't worry. The mom's running around like?don't worry about it, you know. It's young and beautiful and healthy and that's what we want."
Translation please.
he likes babies?
He believes the children are the future - teach them well, and let them lead the way.
He believes the children are the future
Children, children; future, future!
"Babies are delicious. I'll eat him later."
Mmmmmmmm baby. /the real Fat Bastard
He's a scatman.
Ba ba ba dup ba.
Shooby dooby dap dap doo ah ah, shooby shoo aaaahhh.
"Kill Hitler."
I wish there was a libertarian-leaning late night comedian.
The Democrats have so many things to be made fun of.
All the late night comedians are centrists. Just ask them.
They're just "non-partisans who speak truth to power. "
and everyone thinks they are "moderate" and a "good driver" and their kid is "above average."
The only one I can stomach is Conan. He is the least political and also the funniest.
Conan signed Billboard's open letter to Congress to stop gun violence.
You're welcome.
Yes, I used to be a Conan fan. But he is a anti-gun nut. Jimmy Fallon I believe is the least political of the bunch.
Fallon is an unwatchable bufoon. I'd rather put on Maher than watch Fallon.
You must have missed Fallon fellating Obama a couple weeks ago.
I'll just pile on and say that I can't remember the last time I laughed at something Conan did.
Conan's remotes always pretty funny. The show is pretty tame, though, but that is the case for all late night shows.
Cimmarians are simple people, and guns are considered witchcraft by their race. Plus, real Cimmarians prefer to strike their opponents down with axe or sword, or bare fist rather than fight from far away like cowards.
Wow. Joke grenade.
I scrolled down and read about 3 more replies before I got it.
Except Bill Maher-- he's a REAL Libertarian.
When both Bill Maher, and Glenn Beck can call themselves Libertarians does the word still have meaning?
No. Next question?
Libertarian, libertine, whatever.
One thing I find funny about media bias is that the same people bitching about bias in favor of Clinton vs Sanders, denied there was any bias in favor of BHO vs Romney or McCain.
*cough*South Park*cough*
yep
SNL was shilling so hard for Clinton this year, they should have counted their budget as a campaign contribution.
Trumpbart currently has a twitter poll asking whether Paul Ryan has a soul. They seem to be serious about it.
It's Sad! what's happened to that site since Andrew Breitbart died.
I'm guessing he would have been hostile to Trump.
What? Lots of very thoughtful people have struggled with weighty philosophical questions like the existence of the soul.
Millennials are losing interest in sex (sort of).
Too much paperwork involved.
Try rice paper.
The phrase "doing it wrong" springs to mind...
Obama is obviously worried that Trump could win.
Hillary's only chance is to go hide in one of those Doomsday bunkers at an undisclosed location. Don't even come out for the debates.
The more people see of her, the worse her numbers get.
That's why she scheduled debates at the same time as NFL games.
Pretty much everything he's saying now about Trump he said 8* years ago about Hillary.
Why should anyone believe him?
*okay, pedant points, 7
*okay, pedant points, 7
He beat her in the primary, was elected, and still trashed her the following year? What a dick.
Late-night comics make fun of Republicans more often than Democrats (surprise).
They still have those, eh?
You are our all day/all night time warp comic.
THEN WHERE'S MY PAYCHECK.
Not for long. (you were asking about Republicans, right?)
Dammit, somebody already took this punchline!
"The question they have to ask themselves is: If you are repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what he has said is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing him?"
Let me answer that question by posing another: If the FBI Director is repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what she has done is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing her?
Wait, Obama didn't mention that he once had a most Senior State Department employee that blatantly violated security protocols for 4 years under his nose and with his knowledge and he did nothing about it? And this former employee is now running for President and he is endorsing it? That didn't make it into the speech where he sticks his nose into the next election?
Trump is not a socialist because:
He's on Team Red, and we all know Team Red cares of about less spending and fiscal rectitude.
But red is the color of communism.
Michelle Obama hardest hit: McDonald's binges at 4am, free drinks for medallists and LOTS of sex: What life's REALLY like for the athletes inside the Olympic Village
I wonder if they sell triple-strength...
The Aussies are screwing mosquitos? They're even weirder than I thought.
To be fair, the mosquitos in Australia are a lot bigger.
Double-strength rubber? Sounds very numbing. Sounds like they won't be used very often.
McDonald's better be sending him a check.
Don't forget that a woman whose claim to fame is sleeping with a prominent elected official went on national TV and bullied an Olympic gold medallist.
Trump also kicked a crying baby out of one of his rallies.
Anybody who hates children and dogs can't be all bad.
You went too far when you included dogs.
I guess it's you, me, and W.C. Fields against the world, Brooks.
"Millennials are losing interest in sex (sort of). Safe spaces, naturally, are to blame."
Maybe the hipsters on college campuses.
From what I've seen at the beach this summer, bikinis are twice as small as they used to be.
That's a bit of a pet peeve of mine. I see it all the time. "Twice as small." How does that work exactly? Twice as big works. So does half the size. But when I hear a commercial say something like 5 times less sugar, or something like that. I'm like 5 times what?
I was going to say half as small. but that means bigger.
But we digress. Young ladies are showing a lot more ass on the beach, and that's what matters.
Amen brother.
I thought I saw someone standing on your lawn, aren't you gonna yell at em?
If two people are the same size, one of them is one time smaller than the other.
One time smaller would be 100% smaller (1.0 = 100%). One time smaller would be non-existent.
If two people are the same size, one of them is zero times smaller than the other.
People have trouble with fractions.
Especially when they are using fractions with words.
Yeah. I see asses hanging out of bikinis and then look up and realize I'm sizing up a 13-15 year old. Sorry, dad. Thankfully my wife and kids are usually with me.
Literally!
LOL

I was kicking the crying baby around about fifteen minutes ago, if you know what I mean.
Then you went home from work and REALLY cranked on it.
These euphemisms are dangerously close to child abuse.
Millennials are losing interest in sex
Wait I thought they were all going crazy with the sexting, catfishing, Tindring, and hooking up behind dumpsters.
Now you tell me America is turning into Japan?
Well they're just losing interest in sex with actual people. I'm sure they're all for masturbating to webcams of college girls showing off their bare feet, or pooping, or whatever the fuck people are into these days.
Pooping on bear feet is the hot new thing I've heard.
Is the bear sedated? I guess danger can be erotic.
+1 Carlos Danger
That's disgusting. Would it kill them to put on some socks?
YOU try putting socks on a bear's feet.
Jesse likes having his feet shat on?
No he doesn't like it, but that's the turn-on.
Is there such a thing as a bottom bear? Serious question.
I know at least one.
WOO HOO!!
Go to the link. I don't think the girl in the top picture is not getting laid because of safe spaces. If telling herself "I have decided to forgo sex" makes her feel better, well I guess I can't blame her.
Wow, the opinion of a guy who will never vote GOP. I care why?
Especially since the answer for 90% of the Trump voters is "I hate him, but he's better than the hag you are backing"
Scientist Man explains how almost the entirety of the 'Ghostbusters haters are sexist' debate was completely manufactured to gin up publicity for the movie...which still failed financially.
It's okay that it failed financially. The point of it was to drum up the whole "women can lead" mindset for Hillary 2016.
But women can only lead if they are sassy, and Hillary is not sassy enough.
Hey that video was actually pretty good!
Edit: Not talking about Ghostbusters here.
Called it.
If that was the case, I can't imagine how the studio thought that tactic would be successful. Gone are the days when girls would buy 10 copies of Backstreet Boys or N'Sync CDs just to increase sales figures for their favorite band; movies are expensive as fuck and a lot of this film's target demographic typically has kids or simply doesn't have two hours a day to waste seeing the movie over and over again like the fans of comic book movies seem to enjoy.
I was reading somewhere that even though the movie cost about $140 million to make, it will probably have to make at least $250 million, if not more, to cover advertising and marketing costs, and that's assuming McCarthy, Feig, and Wiig don't have deals in their contracts for a cut of the gross.
I heard on the radio morning show today that Jumanji is being remade with Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson.
"Late-night comics make fun of Republicans more often than Democrats (surprise)."
The Daily Show has turned into the Trump Show. Every day there's a new "mic drop" shared on Facebook.
I find it hard to believe anyone is watching the Daily Show, even among your crappy friends.
Watch? I thought it was just clips on Facebook?
Every clip I see of the new guy (Sorry New Guy, I can't even remember your name) I just mentally add in crickets every time he tries to make a joke. This might just be from the fact that they're clips, but when I watched The Daily Show in the Bush era I seem to recall a lot more jokes and a lot less "stopping for a two-minute self-righteous vapid rant".
So your saying they are just like Reason?
Um excuse me, I think you mean the Drumpf show. Because somehow Trumps grandfather changing his last name to avoid anti-German bigotry is somehow supposed to make us hate him.
You know who else complained about anti-German bigotry?
If it's gotten to the point where you're dropping the mic every day, your message is probably not resonating outside your hugbox.
Nice Cargo Shorts! You're Sleeping on the Sofa
"Bond never wears cargo shorts."
False.
She's just jealous because his pockets can hold four cans of beer.
Or their chick's purse, cell phone, or heels
They are marginally better than skinny jeans
Seth agrees.
She probably prefers Zubaz.
I once did a temp job at a local warehouse packing up Zubaz pants and shipping them off everywhere.
Unbelievable how many of those pants - in every team's colors - we shipped that week. And I'm sure they kept shipping even after I moved on to better temp jobs.
I like having an extra pocket on the front for my smartphone.
With a hole in the pocket, amirite? *elbows Ted lewdly(?)
I keep all sorts of shit in my cargo pockets. That is what I love about them.
I even keep the cover for my grape stuffed in one of them while I'm indoors. Just like MCRD!
I even keep the cover for my grape stuffed in one of them
Euphemisms, etc.
Okay yoohoo! *in my best DI voice*
It never made any sense - why did they give us extra pockets if we werent allowed to put anything in them?
On the other hand, your name is "Ashleigh" and that's retarded.
Here you go Fruit Sushi, for working so hard at the links today.
Clinton Camp And Allies Book $98M In TV Ads To Trump Allies' Less Than $1M
I'm so glad she's going to get money out of politics.
It's going to be a total wipe-out.
Hillary will get to pack the courts. The First and Second Amendments will be the biggest losers.
Why would Trump pay for media time? All he has to do is show up at a podium and the media will trample each other to report everything he says.
Usually he says something provocative enough that everyone else feels the need to respond to it and gets off their own message.
How much did Donny pay in media advertising in the primaries?
Is there any evidence now that these ad buys in the digital age actually move the needle at all, especially when it's a blitz like what Clinton is doing? If I'm like most people, I might watch it once, but after that I'm muting or ignoring it whenever the ad comes on. truly memorable stuff like Reagan's "Morning in America" ad from 1984 are pretty rare.
It seems like presidential candidates could get a lot more mileage out of viral youtube videos than television ads nowadays.
Is she running it during Matlock reruns? Otherwise there is this thing called a DVR.
But Trump is self funded. He says so himself, over and over. He claims his net worth is 11 billion dollars.
If someone running for President won't commit 1/9th of his wealth to winning then he doesn'the really crave winning.
Car Bombing in Benghazi Kills 23 People
Sure it wasn't a drone strike?
Baghdad, Kabul, ... now Benghazi.
I don't know what to think anymore.
It's crazy, right? It's as if a country on the other side of the world, lobbing bombs into a country from planes and ships, doesn't solve problems.
Better check YouTube.
We must find the people behind this. To YouTube we go!!
What was the motive?
Khizr Khan, the Muslim Gold Star father that Democrats and their allies media wide have been using to hammer GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump, has deleted his law firm's website from the Internet.
This development is significant, as his website proved?as Breitbart News and others have reported?that he financially benefits from unfettered pay-to-play Muslim migration into America. ... Grassley's statement even noted that the program Khan celebrated on his website has posed national security risks.
"Obama Unendorses Khan"
BREITBART HAS CRACKED THE CASE!
Since they are the only ones reporting it, yes they have. Amazing what you can find out if you bother to look.
is the idea that something has to run in the WaPo in order for it to be "true"?
i know Bbart is full of shit a lot of the time... but, just wondering. If they were right, would it matter?
(i myself don't know, don't care, hope they all die)
His point may have been that whatever Khan's father does for a living has nothing to do with the stupid controversy. It's a "gotcha moment" that proves...what?
It proves that he has an interest in seeing Clinton elected over Trump! Which wasn't clear from his agreeing to speak at the DNC and calling out Trump.
It suggests that his enmity for Trump is based less in being affronted over bigotry or pride in his son, and more to do with $$$$.
Nothing as far as i can tell (im not reading the whole thing)
In fact it would be less of a story if the Khan guy simply left his firm's website up and running. if something appears like a possible conflict of interest, nothing makes it look worse than trying to hide it. Merely doing visa-managment work (or whatever they're suggesting) as a law firm isn't either particularly odd or suggests that he somehow stands to benefit particularly. At best it suggests he's a good 'Paid Hack' in service of particular arguments.
So do you accept the snark or not?
Both of their articles descend into a complex conspiracy theory, all of it based on the fact that the guy was an IT manager for a few years at the law firm that represents the Saudis. Again: cracked. the. case.
Don't even know what you're talking about.
what i saw is them complaining that he took his law-firm's website down and that they claim he's trying to hide possible conflicts of interest.
It's a "gotcha moment" that proves...what?
IT PROVES THAT MUSLIMS ARE SHIFTY!
The idea is that Breitbart is desperate to protect their daddy and it's sad to watch.
The story is about the Khan-character trying to obfuscate his professional details.
not sure how that "protects" anyone.
They're seeking to discredit Khan because he says mean things about Trump.
Don't be dense.
I don't care about his comments re: trump. I don't even think they made sense
I suppose people's opinion on this is probably a lot like "Clock Boy" Muhamed.
I think he was full of shit and still do. Other people saw any criticism of him meant you were giving Yokel Islamophobia a pass.
Sort of retarded either way.
I think it would be pretty hilariously disingenuous to claim the moral high ground while having a financial stake in hillary's immigration policy. Especially when your argument boils down to importing brown people so we can ship them to afghanistan to kill and be killed.

Millennials are losing interest in sex (sort of). Safe spaces, naturally, are to blame.
Calling it now, by 2040 Millennials will be the new socons, but it will be in the context of social justice ideals like affirmative consent. Then their kids will get rebellious, start fucking and the cycle will begin anew.
Well, you're the fucking time traveler. Just tell us man!
You don't want to know what's really going to happen, trust me. It'll be better if it's a surprise.

Fucking legalize weed and look what happens. The proliferation of roaches leads to them taking the world over.
Not likely. I bet the roaches get smoked.

We might as well rename the "Nobel Peace Prize" to "Nobel Peace Participation Trophy". Obama deserves the latter.
I blame Trump.
Whether you agree with Obama or not, him making those comments, as a sitting president, is just so unbelievably inappropriate and disrespectful of our country and entire political process. It's disgusting. I shouldn't have expected any less from the Divider-in-Chief

Maybe if Citizens United were overturned, the government would silence that group?
It's inappropriate for a president to campaign for his party's nominee?
I'd say yes -- if he's standing behind the Presidential seal.
"Trump's a bully, so I'll use the bully pulpit."
campaign for his party's nominee? what?
he's not campaigning for Hillary, he's standing in the white house telling one of the 2 major political parties, who recently chose and appointed their candidate, to disavow the person they just appointed and their party members just elected because he doesn't agree with them. using his position and influence as president to say it.
yeah, it's inappropriate.
OH GOD NO!
Complaining that he did it behind the presidential seal, sure, gnash your teeth about that. Saying he thinks his opposition party is bad and made a mistake is no more outrageous to me than calling Clinton the devil.
you realize we're paying this guy, right? He's doing this while he's in office, during a white house press conference. He's literally using taxpayer money to defame the republican party nominee.
We pay every elected official. We're paying for Trump's security, too.

"I'm a politician, which means I'm a cheat and a liar, and when I'm not kissing babies kicking babies out of my events, I'm stealing their lollipops grandmother's homes. But it also means I keep my options open."
The millenial sex article is a hoot
"It ends up putting a lot of importance on physical appearance, and that, I think, is leaving out a large section of the population," said Twenge, who teaches psychology at San Diego State University. "For a lot of folks who are of average appearance, marriage and stable relationships was where they were having sex." Unlike in face-to-face meetings where "you can seduce someone with your charm," she said, dating apps are "leaving some people with fewer choices and they might be more reluctant to search for partners at all."
Did no one ever teach these kids "start ugly early"? I find it hard to believe that you have to be that good looking to get laid on Tinder. Anyone with experience in such?
"For a lot of folks who are of average appearance, marriage and stable relationships was where they were having sex."
Clearly, this person has never been married or in a stable relationship. Because that's when the sex stops.
You do not have to be a good looking woman to get laid on Tinder. You probably do not have to be a great looking guy either. A couple of weeks ago I spent time around two heavier, unattractive young ladies who were bragging about the amount of dick they get on Tinder, therefore mitigating their desire to improve their physical appearance and/or health.
two heavier, unattractive young ladies who were bragging about the amount of dick they get on Tinder
But enough about John.
And Crusty would.
This is a troubling anecdote. Are young men really that thirsty?
Seems like there should be a John joke here...
you missed it
Heavy chicks still get all the dick they want? Let me get my shocked face.
My reality TV show was going to be a spin off of The Swan and be called The Owl. Instead of spending tons on cosmetic surgery and countless hours working out just to get pretty enough to get a man, on The Owl, the host would simply go out to dinner with the uggo. Then around closing time at bars they'd go in and the show would be all the drunk guys hitting on the ugly gal. The show would end with her leaving with some guy.
The ugliest woman I know gets laid more than the hottest one I know. But only because she's easy as hell and likes clubbing while the hot one's a Tim in a committed relationship.
There will always be men who will have sex with anything vaguely woman-shaped, with or without alcohol.
I was out at a bar with a buddy of mine last Saturday night. We got there maybe 11:30 or so. There were two single women at the bar. They were there together celebrating one of there birthdays. Birthday girl had already been cut off. The were 40'ish, neither one all that attractive at all. Hounds to the left and right of them all trying to make time. Those girls were loving it.

Incidentally, the Wall Street Journal is accusing the Clinton Foundation of serving as a conduit for technology transfers and financing for the benefit of the Russian military.
"The Clinton Foundation, State and Kremlin Connections"
Why did Hillary's State Department urge U.S. investors to fund Russian research for military uses?
http://www.wsj.com/articles/th.....1469997195
Fascinating article.
Google the headline, and you're in.
I thought it was interesting, you know, considering that it's an election year, and Hillary Clinton is running for President, and she apparently helped the Russians develop billions worth of military technology while she was Secretary of State--in exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation.
But why would that be interesting when we could talk about how Obama doesn't like Trump instead?
P.S. Why should anybody give a shit what Obama thinks about Trump or anything else?
"The [Skolkovo] foundation may be a means for the Russian government to access our nation's sensitive or classified research development facilities and dual-use technologies with military and commercial application."
Hey! Secretary Clinton had no reason to believe that!
Read the text I pasted below.
The State Department sent a cable to Hillary Clinton warning her about this, and the FBI ran an op-ed in the Boston Business Journal warning people to stay away from Hillary's joint-venture with the Russians.
Think about that for a second. The FBI is warning the public business community through the media to stay away from a joint venture backed and financed by Hillary Clinton--the Secretary of State--because it's a front for the Kremlin meant to facilitate military technology transfers.
Hillary must have thrown a tantrum that night. How dare the FBI get in the way of her money making!
Fruit Sushi has performed his duty on time and to the least of his ability.
"It was the least I could do."
*thinks*
"I'd say that's accurate."
Why's Ken always bashing Robby?
Ken if you are bald I'm calling projection!
Bald?
Not bald.
P.S. I'm usually the first guy to defend Gillespie, Welch, Cavanaugh, Postrel, Bailey, Sullum, Walker, Sanchez, KMW, Howley, et. al. against all comers.
Kinda tells you somethin'.
your list is notable for whom it doesn't include.
I think Shaq is good people.
There was an et. al. there for anyone I may have forgotten. Root does good work, Balko was great, et. al.
In the past, I've gone after Weigel, ENB, and Robby for shitty work when they deserved it.
I've disagreed with all the others, but that's different.
I.e., I ain't the kinda guy that bashes Reason staff for the hell of it.
I'm usually the first guy to defend them--even when I disagree.
Then I recant my statement. You seem an honorable man.
I like Robby's articles though! And ENB. I grant you they are the more click-baity stuff (sex and college outrage) but it gives me some balance with Reason's other heavy hitting articles.
I am just relieved you didn't include Richman or Dalmia on that list.
I've defended Dalmia on occasion although sometimes it's really, really hard to do so.
Richman seems to write his conclusions first and then randomly assign premises to support them with links that may or may not have anything pertinent to do with what he's saying.
His rationale is so confusing, I usually just skip it.
I often disagree with Krayewski, but he does good work. Suderman does good work; it's just that he's developed a severe case of TDS. He'll get over it eventually.
I think I disagreed with almost every piece Christopher Hitchens ever wrote. He was a Trotskyist, a democratic socialist, an especially obnoxious atheist--and he did fantastic work. Loved his work.
It isn't about agreeing with somebody.
YEAH, BUT TRUMP
It's typical.
They were accused of doing the same thing with the Chinese and missile technology back in the '90s.
She did the same thing with the State Department and weapons sales to Saudi Arabia.
It's only wrong if it's illegal in the Clintons' book.
Putting Hillary in the White House is like putting Al Capone in charge of the FBI.
It goes beyond where the candidates stand on the issues. A systematic and consistent pattern of corruption going back 30 years and extending through to today isn't an issue--it makes all the issues irrelevant.
There is no defense of this behavior. People seem to only be able to deal with it by ignoring it. Even her opponents don't want to think this sort of behavior is possible at the highest levels of the federal government.
They want to talk about her email server. Her email is a parking ticket compared to this.
None dare call it treason.
Funny how they haven't touched that.
"The question they have to ask themselves is: If you are repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what he has said is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing him?"
Answer: Shrillary.
Late-night comics make fun of Republicans more often than Democrats (surprise).
Something we noticed since the 80s.
Trump also kicked a crying baby out of one of his rallies.
With his wing-tips?
Wasn't the Tea Party about fiscal restraint? or is this Robby's attempt at sarcasm?
I don't think there's anything ironic or surprising about Trumps Big-Spending promises
The Tea Party influence has always been minor, and has only ever had enough influence to get a few congresspeople elected with a priority to try and limit spending. It hasn't worked for the wider party's popularity - most people say the budget-battles and govt shutdown as a net-loss for congress, and the actual fiscal-hawks have been sidelined.
The GOP has never been the Tea Party, basically, and kicking the TP for the predictable sins of the least conservative GOP candidate in living memory seems a bit shallow.
Robby really is a sorry ass leftist. What a cheap shot slander on the Tea Party.
Eh, the Tea Party is essentially dead and buried. Neither of the candidates is really talking about our massive debt and whether we should actually reduce it for the first time since 1957.
And last time the debt was this big, we had just finished a massive total war.
"Wasn't the Tea Party about fiscal restraint?
The Tea Party has become a euphemism for some people that just means whatever they don't like.
P.S. You know what story should have gotten more press?
Trump's speech when he congratulated the Republican convention for applauding him when he said he'd stand up for the rights of "LGBT".
That's a huge thing. We used to hear about how everybody hated the Republicans for being social conservatives, but when the Republican delegates cheer for the rights of "LGBT", specifically, listening to the news, you'd think it never happened.
I thought it was sarcasm.
he might as well set one on fire and feed it to his hounds.
Hilary's pro-war and pro-family.
So was Charlie Manson.
What to Do About Lawless Government Hacking and the Weakening of Digital Security
In May 2010, the State Department facilitated a Moscow visit by 22 of the biggest names in U.S. venture capital?and weeks later the first memorandums of understanding were signed by Skolkovo and American companies.
By 2012 the vice president of the Skolkovo Foundation, Conor Lenihan?who had previously partnered with the Clinton Foundation?recorded that Skolkovo had assembled 28 Russian, American and European "Key Partners." Of the 28 "partners," 17, or 60%, have made financial commitments to the Clinton Foundation, totaling tens of millions of dollars, or sponsored speeches by Bill Clinton.
Russians tied to Skolkovo also flowed funds to the Clinton Foundation. . . .
Amid all the sloshing of Russian rubles and American dollars, however, the state-of-the-art technological research coming out of Skolkovo raised alarms among U.S. military experts and federal law-enforcement officials . . . . "
"Moreover, the report said: "the Skolkovo Foundation has, in fact, been involved in defense-related activities since December 2011, when it approved the first weapons-related project?the development of a hypersonic cruise missile engine. . . .
Ms. Ziobro [FBI] also wrote that "The [Skolkovo] foundation may be a means for the Russian government to access our nation's sensitive or classified research development facilities and dual-use technologies with military and commercial application."
To anyone who was paying attention, the FBI's warnings should have come as little surprise. A State Department cable sent to then-Secretary Clinton (and obtained via WikiLeaks) mentioned possible "dual use and export control concerns" related to research and development technology ventures with Moscow. And in its own promotional literature Skolkovo heralded the success of its development of the Atlant hybrid airship.
http://www.wsj.com/articles/th.....1469997195
Hillary Clinton isn't just a crook. She's a crook who facilitated the development and transfer of military technology to our enemies in exchange for Clinton Foundation donations.
The Rosenbergs were traitors, but my understanding is that they did it for what they thought were noble reasons.
Hillary was our Secretary of State, and she sold us out just for the cash.
Comparing her to Trump on the issues is missing the point.
Disgusting.
Will we see this story on Reason?
I'm guessing not as long as Trump is kicking babies.
It's an election year.
Hillary is running for President.
I don't know why it isn't on the front page of every newspaper. The first story on every news broadcast.
It doesn't even make AM or PM links.
Doesn't make sense to me.
+Cisco Systems
It's not the first time the Clinton's have sold American tech to foreign governments.
I don't know how to link from a phone. Google it yourself
making those comments, as a sitting president, is just so unbelievably inappropriate and disrespectful of our country and entire political process.

I don't think there's anything ironic or surprising about Trumps Big-Spending promises
As I recall, he worked hand in glove with state and local redevelopment agencies in Atlantic City (and everywhere else). Why would we pretend he is in any way opposed to government handouts?
that's sort of what i was getting at.
Robby seemed to think there was something deliciously ironic about Trump being a big spender. he never pretended to be anything otherwise; and i don't think the GOP has necessarily had any faux-aspirations to cut spending = they have controlled congress for 2 years and we haven't exactly seen a new dawn in fiscal-restraint
Missed my flight in Atlanta. Slept on the floor. Lost my debit card. Landed at 145 am.
Then my friends car broke down on the highway.
Pretty good trip though.
Hey! I did that twice. Not because i missed my flight, but because of weather/flight-traffic problems. Atlanta is so big and has such enormous/long terminals & slow-ass security lines that it actually ends up being more practical to sleep in some chair than bother leaving the airport, going to a hotel, and coming back.
It was for some rain. Made it so very annoying.
One time my flight was delayed for 2 days because of rain somewhere else. It was perfectly clear where I was, but for some fucking reason there was no way we could take off. I guess they refused to fly around the weather. And because it "wasn't their fault" I just have to get screwed and take it.
I don't know why you would have to sleep on the floor. the bar was open until ~10pm for me, and they had plenty of cushy couches in the terminal.
The whole easthing coast got fucked with. I was late to the party.
Wait a minute, I know this movie! Are you Harold or Kumar?
Don't you mean "Steve Martin or John Candy?"
It did feel like that.
Robby seemed to think there was something deliciously ironic about Trump being a big spender.
Trump's the Tea Party candidate. Now I get it.
This is what happens when half the population pays no taxes.
http://www.nbcnews.com/feature.....on-n620856
What about payroll taxes?
Well those come out for specific things. Only Income tax would apply to this.
They use accounting magic to "borrow" from payroll tax receipts for all sorts of spending. So I'm told.
No doubt. Government makes Enron and Bernie Madoff look like the Brady Bunch.
I support free college education as well. I'm tired of being taxed to pay for it.
BLM agrees. Just for black people though. Surprise.

"The unemployment rate for Black Americans has been roughly double that for whites since at least the early 1970s"
Because America was less racist prior to 1970.
From the Washington Post's "we're not perverts, we just want to know about the sex habits of young people" article:
"Claudia, who did not want her last name used because "I don't want all my professors reading about how I'm a virgin," said her parents worry.
""They always ask me: 'Are you against relationships? Why don't you have a boyfriend?' My mom ? she hooked up all the time in college ? she's like, 'I would still love you, but are you gay?' But for me, it's not anything about chastity or fear of sex.?.?. I'm just like, 'Eh, it'll happen.'?""
Why aren't you sluttier, honey?
There was a time when it was Mom, not Claudia, who would be considered the weird one in this situation.
I'll need pictures of ham sandwiches to make my assessment.
You mean a suggestive photo like this?

When did Xerxes become such a wuss?
Obama Says Trump Is Unfit for Office
Pot, meet Kettle.
racist
"The question they have to ask themselves is: If you are repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what he has said is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing him?"
Shorter Obama: "I know the answer to this question, it's the same reason I endorsed Hillary, but if it embarrasses Republicans I'll ask it anyway." What a twat.
Hillary didn't *say* anything unacceptable, she *did* things that were unacceptable.
But rhetorically, she hasn't done anything to violate Obama's sensitivities.
I'm sure there's no love lost between 'bama and Hillary, and saddling her with his legacy was his big outgoing double-barreled Fuck You flip-off to her candidacy. But he's being a mendacious cunt for pretending he doesn't understand that both parties play partisan politics. You want to know why some people are sidling up to Trump despite their reservations? Take a long, hard look at your felonious scumbag successor.
Fair enough.
I understand crying baby. They threw me out as well. =(

I think the question they have to ask themselves is: do they feel lucky?
The adoption of slavery in Venezuela reminds me of George Fitzhugh's proslavery book *Sociology For The South Or The Failure of Free Society*, published soon before the Civil War.
Excerpts:
"[Southern slavery] is a beautiful example of communism, where each one receives not according to his labor, but according to his wants."
"A Southern farm is the beau ideal of Communism; it is a joint concern, in which the slave consumes more than the master, of the coarse products, and is far happier, because although the concern may fail, he is always sure of a support..."
"As civilization advances, liberty recedes: and it is fortunate for man that he loses his love of liberty just as fast as he becomes more moral and intellectual....The best governed countries, and those which have prospered most, have always been distinguished for the number and stringency of their laws."
That's just wrong on it's face. Every pitiful bit of it.
Quite the opposite. Reductions in liberty, be they economic or social, act as a decivilizing agent.
Liberty is a moral value of it's own. To deprive someone of it unjustly is quite rightly considered immoral in any rational belief system. As for intellect, one can only degrade the rational value of liberty by way of sophistry, which is a rather counterproductive intellectual pursuit that has set human develop back more than any natural calamity that nature has thrown at us in the last 5,000ish year history of civilization.
North Korea
Why are you arguing with a 200 year old Democrat?
Holeee shit.
So they going to ban public schools from trying to turn straight kids gay?
You misunderstand. That's good psychological manipulation unlike the religious kind.
Just in case anyone's sarcastometer is broken. I am against non-voluntary psychological manipulation.
They throw in there that this law is aimed at minors whom you could argue are not adults and are more vulnerable to manipulation. this is a classic case of a law having the right intentions but setting a horrible precedent that progressives are either too dumb or too self-absorbed to notice.
Agreed. Agency.
Again see public schools. Progs get the implications they just went to shut down any competition. And yes I think conversation therapy is retarded.
This has got to open up a massive first amendment question. (fun fact, the words 'first amendment' or 'speech' don't even appear in the article.
One could make an argument that conversion therapy (as defined by the city council) is 'fraud'. But why wouldn't standard fraud rules and regs apply? Plus, how, exactly, do they define 'conversion therapy'. Does the therapist have to utter specific or pre-defined words and phrases? If the City council is weighing in on questionable practices in regards to medical or mental health, a lot of acupuncturists and homeopathy practitioners need to start looking over their shoulders.
I agree with you Paul. It is a massive first amendment question. Though as an Agorist I would only consider it fraud if a homosexual person voluntary exchanged money for conversion therapy sessions, and the customer did not get the desired result. As an Agorist I also see conversion therapy as a very small market that does not need to be turn into a Black Market. That being said.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dp6LT2MdaPI
Agorist I would only consider it fraud if a homosexual person voluntary exchanged money for conversion therapy sessions, and the customer did not get the desired result.
Wouldn't that be similar to a person with cancer exchanging money for cancer therapy and not getting the desired result? There are cancer therapies that are solid, good and "work" but may not produce the desired result in every patient-- then there are cancer therapies that are complete alt-medicine bunk and never will produce the desired result. Defining 'fraud' and making something illegal in the psych-therapy biz seems like you're asking for trouble.
I'm not the one asking for anything to be made Illegal. Absent government. industries tend to develop superior standards. In the case of cancer therapies, those companies that are successful would thrive, and when they do not work out, insurance companies would make heavy payout, a thing insurance companies are loath to do.
Over time Society is better at determining fraud than a government.
I have made this case to fellow cooks that I would rather eat at an establishment that has insurance than eat at an establishment that depends on government health inspectors.
All therapy is "psychological manipulation"
and people PAY to have it done to them.
i didn't realize the seattle city council had oversight on what psychologists and their patients can talk about.
See above good brother. =)
Why is Obama encouraging the GOP to dump Trump? I thought it was the Democrats dream to run against him? Otherwise why would Democrats care about who the GOP candidate is anyway? I haven't even heard one of them who's not predicting a Hillary landslide. Makes no sense.
Party CamPain mode. Now is the time for the Democrat's to trash him in the public arena.
Seriously? This statement makes the most sense if Obama believes that Trump is going to lose. That's why he's both overtly tying all Republicans to him as well as making it more difficult for them to unendorse him.
Obama has no room to complain about anyone being unfit to be president. Rev. Wright? Dhorn and Ayers? A presidency characterized by subverting the constitution? I can't wait to see the Reason article.
Oh you can wait...
White privilege
http://www.bbc.com/travel/stor.....-countries
One gets the impression that journalists like to spend a lot of time at outdoor cafes.
One gets the impression that the reputableness of a country depends on it's commitment to leftisms. Strict gun laws are a plus in Australia, and Sweden's takes the number one spot despite it's omitted status as the rape capital of Europe and probably the immigrant rape capital of the world.
"I mean, it's exactly like how I disowned my pastor of 20 years for reasons of political expediency..." he continued...
It's not so much that they "have to", as that they "choose to", because unlike Democrats they still retain the capacity for shame and guilt, even if it no longer has much impact on their behavior.
New baby has me completely off schedule, but i still want to point out how weak Rico's Links are, once again.
