The city council of San Antonio on the island of Ibiza has banned all drinking on the street. Council members say the move is aimed at deterring people from drinking alcohol and causing problems. But the ban applies to all liquids, since authorities say police can't just look at a glass and tell what's in it.

So I was in college at Univ of Penn in Philly. I'm going through a period where I'm not drinking alcohol. Totally dry. But we're downtown at a bar. So I'm having some orange juice on the sidewalk in front of the bar. A cop walking b y tells me to take the drink back into the bar. I tell him "hey, it's just orange juice".

Philly Cop:

I don't care if it's piss; take it back in bar.

I was young and foolish in those days, thinking that peasants had "rights"! What a card I was! Moments away from being murdered for drinking orange juice on a public sidewalk failing to respect his AUTHORITAH!
