Brickbat: The Hidden Dangers of Sunbathing

Lindsey Gordon suffered a shattered pelvis and internal bleeding after Grand Isle, Louisiana, Assistant Police Chief Norris Esponge drove over her while she was sunbathing on the beach. Esponge, who was patrolling the beach in a Ford F-150, narrowly missed running over another woman who was sunbathing with Gordon.

This cop is obviously too stupid to be driving,or have a gun,or eat with a knife and fork. BTW,I would think looking at women sun bathing would be the main reason to be driving down the beach.
There was a hotter one in the other direction?
But no need to worry, no officers were harmed in the incident.
He got home safely. It's all that matters.
The cop was aiming for their dog.
Well, it's hard to see the tan in the sand doing 65 with your ray-bans...

Have you ever driven in the sand? Cops have a lot to think about protecting us then you add driving on the sand and near the ocean where sharks live (ever seen Sharknado?) and you can see the stress of being a beach cop.
Also why are people sunbathing if their skin is the same color as the sand. They are just asking for problems.

In his defense, he was drunk at the time.
Well, I certainly assume he was given a breath test on the spot -- just as you or I would be.

The suspect resisted a tire pat down.
I think the solution is obvious to protect the heroes. Ban sunbathing.
To be really safe we should ban all bathing, sun or otherwise.
I don't want to smell that world.
Then he goes back to work and nothing else happened.
