Donald Trump Promises to Rule as Both Conciliatory Dealmaker, Tyrannical Dictator
No Rick Scott endorsement yet, but will it matter?

Florida Gov. Rick Scott defied media predictions and declined to endorse Donald Trump (for the time being, at least), but it may not matter. Trump cleaned up on Super Tuesday.
Trump celebrated by making a speech in Florida, followed by a question and answers session. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie stood behind him while he spoke, stoic and, in truth, looking a bit miserable.
Trump went straight for Rubio, who had a terrible Super Tuesday.
"I always liked Marco until about a week ago when he decided to go hostile," said Trump. "He decided to become Don Rickles, except Don Rickles has a lot more talent."
Trump emphasized the fact that Rubo hasn't won any states so far.
"They say the loser of the night was Marco Rubio," said Trump. "He hasn't won anything. You gotta be able to win something."
During the Q and A, Trump provided clues as to what kind of president he would be: a conciliatory mediator who values procedure and compromise, and simultaneously an iron-willed strongman who will sweep aside all who stand in his way.
"I'm going to get along great with Paul Ryan, and if I don't he's going to pay a big price," said Trump.
At this point, Ted Cruz, who picked up two states on Tuesday, is arguably better positioned to stop Trump than Rubio. But neither is in particularly good shape.

STFU AND VOTE TRUMP
"Gov. Chris Christie stood behind him while he spoke, looking stoic and, in truth, a bit miserable."
Looking?
Trump can not make America great again. Trump is a billionaire because he has mastered crony capitalism, not free market capitalism.
Trump wants his own version of big government.
Trump says anything that is beneficial to his goals at the moment in time that he says it. Which means what he says will always be changing to fit his current wants and needs.
Trump's next book should be titled "The Art of BS."
We can not have a thin-skinned, hot headed, narcissistic, egomaniac in charge of our military, foreign policy and nuclear codes.
Choose limited federal government. Stop making millionaires out of our politicians and lobbyists. Stop increasing the power of connected corporations.

Why not? We've had it more often than not. Many countries have.
I was gonna say, we've made it the last 23 years with one.
Tyrannical dictator seems a bit extreme. If Trump's enemies actually get murdered I'll apologize.
I wonder if the list of "suicides" of those close to trump is as long as that of the likely Dem candidate.
I reckon that's just common knowledge, so mentioning it isn't necessary.
Loyal followers are always given the opportunity to fall on their swords.
Trump is delusional.
Has he said whether he'd have run guns into Mexico, ordered extrajudicial assassinations of American citizens or deliberately subverted FOIA laws?
Or has he stated how he will use the IRS to punish his enemies?
Just checking.
Did Obama say he would do those things?
His toadies have the Fifth Amendment pretty well memorized.
As for the extrajudicial assassinations, he's smugly announced how successful they've been.
Well, I understand why his supporters think this is a good way of thinking. To them, it shows that he'll be a reasonable President who will know to make deals, but also know when his own power can be wielded unilaterally.
So basically trump said what every politician ever had said when it looked like they had a good chance to win.
So, why the vapors on here?
Probably because whereas others have been more discrete, Trump is a lot louder about what he'll do.
Meanwhile silence on the Clinton email dump, bringing the total number of classified documents she illegally stored to, what, 1800+?
But let's focus like a fucking laser beam on the bluster of a candidate since no candidate in the history of the world has ever thrown red meat out there to their base before mellowing out in the general or after taking office.
I mean, fuck. You'd almost think the leading candidate was under FBI investigation, he's in the news so often.
Oh, wait....
Are there any substantial differences in governing philosophy between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump? Because they seem to be cut from the same cloth.
Trump has a smaller war-boner.
Gosh, if Rubio can't win Virginia -- the most establishment GOP state there is -- I don't know where he can win. Though a lot of it may be Democrats crossing over in open primaries to sabotage the GOP.
Virginia's a Southern state with a huge redneck population. Far more establishment states in the North and west.
Have you seen the numbers in NoVa, Richmond and Hampton Roads/Norfolk?
Virginia has a lot of redneck land mass but the population centers are all blu-ish, big government establishment Meccas.
As opposed to the north where you have big population centers but far fewer rednecks?
And Trump took the Hampton Roads/Norfolk area.
http://www.decisiondeskhq.com/...../virginia/
Rubio won NoVa and Richmond, obviously. The HR/Norfolk area is a head-scratcher. Maybe the Navy people pulled him up. IIRC, he polls well with enlisted men and women.
Right. I'm not denying that there isn't a large establishment presence in Virginia, just that Virginia isn't the "most establishment GOP state there is", as bunnyman stated. Rather, it's torn between two factions. Do you disagree?
I'd say Ohio and Indiana are much more establishment oriented, just for example.
I think Virginia is more establishment in the sense that they employ a lot of government workers, civilian and military, and tend to vote for bigger government of either stripe.
Ohio is probably more establishment but only because they're more likely to use what works in Ohio to determine what establishment means. It's a bellwether state, so people look for what sells there and call it establishment in hopes it will catch on with the base and with moderates from the other side.
In that sense, Ohio Dems and GOPers are probably less polarized than in most states. Indiana is similar but a little more openly Christian fundamentalist, both on the left and right.
Yeah. I don't think you're disagreeing with me at all... so, well, good.
I think Florida would also be a good contender here as a more establishment Southern state even.
Florida is a little different because they have so many retirees. They're a bit of an outlier, IMO, except for when it comes to entitlements. Then they're always for more.
Florida is closer to Virginia than Ohio, in my opinion.
"Florida is closer to Virginia than Ohio, in my opinion."
Agreed again (as that makes perfect sense). Florida is like Virginia, just upside down.
Nine Trump stories since yesterday. Nine.
And not a peep about the final email drop from a Secretary of State that used an illegal home server to transmit and store classified information on in a deliberate attempt to subvert FOIA laws.
I mean, Jesus Christ. Trump is a buffoon. We get it. But we have a fucking criminal running a pretty successful campaign so far and we get pretty much crickets from the Reason staff.*
*Im talking about the illegal server and the classified docs being stored illegally, not the weapons-running in Libya and Syria that is a completely illegal clusterfuck. Nor am I talking about the pay for play scheme she ran with the CGI while she was at State.
Reason has revenue goals they have to reach so they have to blog about Trump. And calling him a fascist brings in even more views. Forget facts and issues, if they can't hit their revenue targets they may have to miss some cocktail parties!
Reason doesn't even have the excuse of being bought by Hillary's biggest supporter, like The Onion.
I've read that the Koch's are trying to get Romney to enter the race, maybe this is in preparation for that LOL.
Haha, this fuckin' guy.
I'm sorry if I'm losing it a little. But the inability of the staff here to read what a politician is doing in a calculated move to gin up support is mind-boggling.
Remember Obama saying "elections have consequences. And at the end of the day I won." Trump isn't saying anything different, really.
And still, where was the apoplexy and non-stop railing against Obama?
And where are the stories about the leading candidate from the other party? You know, the ones about the final email dump that a federal judge had to force her old department to comply with after she did everything she could to subvert FOIA laws and after she deleted 30,000 fucking messages from her illegal, home brew server? The server that has over 1800 classified docs stored on it, illegally.
But oh, no! Trump might get into office and wield some unforeseen power...unlike the fucker that's there and assassinating American citizens that haven't even been charged with a fucking crime. The fucker that stands on the dead bodies of every single victim he can to find a way to take our rights to self-defense away. The fucker that uses the IRS to go after his political enemies and laughs about it.
What. The. Fuck.
Fuck this. I'm going to start calling me and Kara's first child together Sophia.
Fraternity pledge master, Donald J Trump, threw the short-skirted Republican party on top of a glass coffee table covered in beer bottles while, in the darkness, somebody (Ted Cruz?) snarled "grab its motherfucking leg"..
Ah, starting my day with a good laugh. Thank YOU, SIV!

RE:

All three candidates, Moe (Trump), Larry (Hitlery) and Curly (Comrade Sanders) have said the same thing only in different wording.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Ask me again why I'm voting libertarian.
