Brickbat: Creating Tension and Division

French police arrested about 10 people in Calais for taking part in a protest against Muslim immigrants. The government has banned all protests in Calais indefinitely. The city is the site of a camp where about 3,700 migrants live, hoping to make their way onto trucks and trains headed across the English Channel.

It's going to get ugly in Europe. I wonder, why are all these people trying to get to London? Can't be for the food or the beer,
Maybe because the UK is the 10th country in economic freedom, while France is the 75th?
They may not like the kind of 'freedom' some of these people want.
Didn't you hear, in regard to migrant hordes, british citizens don't have 'likes' and 'dislikes' anymore than french citizens. The rulers like looking virtuous and the opinions of the ruled are ugly and must be suppressed.
No, it won't end well.
The sad thing is it doesn't have to be this way. Trying to hide the dirtbags makes things worse. They should be open when immigrants/migrants break laws and punish them publicly. It would give the public an accurate number of bad actors vs people seeking opportunity and show the new comers that breaking laws will not be tolerated.
Plus it might increase support for accepting refugees in the first place, if citizens were confident that genuine bad actors would face serious penalties.
Covetous refugees
What should I do if a person whom I have sheltered during a dark and stormy night, takes advantage of my hospitality and tries to assault my wife?
I will shoot that person. That is my right in the just scheme of things.

Why should I give pity, when my pity is going to be used against me. Why should I try to show humanity, when it is going to be a weapon against me.
These are not humans, but criminals who want to strip away your life.
If a person's need is the only qualifier to rob me then I would readily divest myself of my humanity.
We have seen,in other countries these 'refugees' bitching they are not being given enough. The people coming across the Mexican border want, for the most part,to work and better themselves and families. The horde flowing into Europe demand hand outs and many seem to be violent.
You know who else wouldn't allow complaints about people being put on trains?
Vichy France?
No,I got it Jerry Brown?
the Beaver?
Sir Toppam Hatt?
*4 year old clapping "THOMAS!"
Tokyo transit authority at rush hour?
Thomas C. Durant?
OT: "Oh, right. Because no one's ever voted for oppressive safety over risky freedom before."
Warning: Spoilers
Around 3,700 migrants are living in a camp on the outskirts of the city, nicknamed the "Jungle", hoping to smuggle themselves across the Channel to Britain on lorries or trains.
