Gov. Dannell Malloy/FEMA The governor of Connecticut is asking the White House for the names on its extremely secretive terror watchlist so that he can, via executive order, attempt to block those on the list from purchasing guns.
- President Barack Obama is, as well, looking to use his executive authority to try to expand background checks for gun purchases without having to go through Congress.
