A Bunch of Garbage


Garbage men in Hull, England, are refusing to pick up garbage unless the cans are pointed in the right direction. They say it's a safety issue, claiming they could get injured turning the cans around.

After reading the article I can say I find the arguments from both sides complete rubbish.

Entities that actually have to compete for market share wouldn't fuss over the direction of your trash can
i dunno i can see how garbage cans being pointed the wrong way (can something round "point" in any direction?) maybe isn't dangerous but certainly a problem worth using force to correct
