Not enough female techies on board. I mean, they hired ALL the female techies who applied, but that's not enough. They'll have to put the cleaning ladies on a software team.
MS HR rep: What's your experience with C#?
Cleaning Lady: Uh, I don't know much about music, but I can cook!
Denholm: I'm gonna put you in I.T. because you said on your CV you have a lot of experience with computers.
Jen: I did say that on my CV, yes. I have a lot of experience with the whole computer thing you know, emails, sending emails, receiving emails, deleting emails, I could go on.
Denholm: Do.
Jen: The web. Using a mouse, mices, using mice. Clicking, double clicking. The computer screen, of course. The keyboard. The... bit that goes on the floor down there.
Denholm: The hard drive.
Jen: Correct.
Denholm: Well, you certainly seem to know your stuff. That's settled. I've got a good feeling about you Jen and they need a new manager.
Jen: Fantastic, so the people I'll be working with, what are they like?
No, I am not some sort of anti-allopathic health nut. I just thought that Ebola was more of a potential threat than those who were dismissing it as nothing to worry about. And, by the way, it's back.
I laughed so hard when I read that. Weird that Corbyn actually being retarded isn't throwing the left into a lather. He's legitimately dumber than Palin, so I'm beginning to think leftist criticism of her didn't actually have anything to do with her being stupid.
You don't hear the left criticizing Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Sheila Jackson Lee do you? Those are arguably some of the dumbest humans on the planet.
Of course the lefty hate for Palin has nothing to do with her IQ.
It should not require a perfect victim ? like Ahmed ? for us to finally declare that bigotry against an entire faith community is unacceptable. There are many Ahmed's watching every move of the adults around them. Let us not disappoint them again.
But it also reflects an elemental clash between MPs, many of whom made it to Westminster courtesy of a centralised vetting operation, and a vastly expanded membership who want to take control of their own party. By giving rein to Labour's democracy, the new leadership has the chance to change the balance of power. It will certainly be a rough ride. The media onslaught will continue. But if Corbyn's supporters keep their heads, last Saturday can be the start of more far-reaching change: to break open the political system, put the alternative to austerity centre stage, and bring an end to Britain's support for endless war.
I have to say, I paid a fortune for good dental coverage in NYC and my NHS dentist is just as good for checkups and filling related issues.
I am somewhat lucky in that and would probably take any fancy dental surgery private.
I don't think it's the system here. It's something in the diet. I wonder if putting wheat flour in absolutely everything prevents you from absorbing some key nutrient for your teeth.
Except they're claiming racism instead of the much more likely general overreaction of school administrators and the police they call. Notice in the same time period we've had a kid kicked out of school and subjected to drug charges for carrying a maple leaf, and another kid charged with assault for kissing a girl on a dare. Misattributing the cause won't lead to solutions that actually solve the problem.
The latest antics of Femen at a French Muslim conference allegedly discussing wife-beating and proper womanly pursuits are a case in point...What is most troubling about this event is not the outrageously condescending attitude of Femen, nor the reported appalling sexism of the some of the Muslims involved: it is that these two voices are once again propped up as the only two in the conversation. It is as if one can only be either a Muslim who loves misogyny as a religious duty, or an orientalist feminist who hates Islam...Forcing the discourse into such a binary is not only myopic, but factually incorrect. I've researched the way Muslim women fight sexism within the Muslim community, and to the shock of many non-Muslims, my research showed that far from being a recent practice borrowed from the west, Muslim women had been standing up for themselves since the advent of Islam.
Yeah, never mind that these assholes were discussing not whether to beat your wife, but how hard -- it's the feminist protesters that are the problem.
I don't know, it does seem like if you want to be a feminist, you have to hate Islam. At least, many feminists claim that if you're a Republican, you necessarily hate women and gays.
my research showed that far from being a recent practice borrowed from the west, Muslim women had been standing up for themselves since the advent of Islam.
And those women have been so successful that they are still being murdered because they were raped- 1400 yrs later.

Dang it. I mean it sounds great, sir, unless I would be ranked poorly, but since I always agree with everything you say, that would be impossible, sir.
Believe it or not, good managers know who the ass-kissers are, and do not reward their behavior. I got my best performance reviews and raises from bosses with whom I argued my own ideas in opposition with theirs. And, yes, I worked for a large company that required every manager to evaluate every subordinate in seriatim. It's actually a pretty easy task.
I've worked at places that rank employees. Cato is right, good managers do not reward ass-kissers. Bad managers do, and it's good to get away from bad managers when the opportunity presents itself, hopefully before a layoff.
We can all be pretty pessimistic and cynical around here, but sometimes Americans will stand together to issue swift justice: there is an IStandWithAhmed hashtag. And it's trending.
Nope, still cynical. People only care because the President tweeted about it in order to squeeze a few more puff pieces about how wise and beneficent he is into the news cycle.

I keep hearing the odd commenter here say that 'they don't support Trump but love how he makes the right people mad'. I wonder if Venezuela is full of these kinds of mouth-breathers or was in 1998. "This Chavez fellow has bad ideas but by golly he's making the establishment mad!".
Unqualified hatred for Donald Trump is a requirement of being even a modestly intelligent, decent person.
I don't think Sander's is going to beat Hillary, and further, he's only ruining the Dems. The GOP is supposed to be ours by right and Trump is shitting up even worse than before.
No one thought Obama was going to amount to much of anything in 2008.
he's only ruining the Dems
Remains to be seen
Trump is shitting up even worse than before
The Republicans don't have a message or a standard bearer. Trump is the only one providing both, at least at the moment, and is part of the reason for his popularity.
He's straight up US Chavez. Old Hugo didn't get elected first time frothing at the mouth, threatening to shut down private companies and issuing weapons to his followers, after all.
I don't GAF about Trump - I just hope he shakes things up enough to get some useful ideas coming out of the rest of the crowd then does one stupid thing too many and gets boo'ed off the stage.
I am also praying that hitlery gets caught with too much baggage and her campaign flounders a few months from now.
In the end - from what we have now - I'd like to Paul against Sanders with Sanders ending up too looney for even the majority of Dems to vote for him.
It's calmed down compared to a couple weeks ago, when there would be five or six people saying, "I'm not a fan of Trump, but..." Those threads were hilarious. It's like that Hamlet fella said...
They do cover that if you RTFA. Even so, this is just the sort of news-grabbing simplistic psych study that shouldn't be paid attention to, because so few of them ever hold up under replication.
Big news today was that the USA poverty level remains high, but hey, because of Obamacare, 3% more of America now has health 'insurance' (actually, Medicaid).
It sure was worth quadrupling everyone's deductible, narrowing choices, and greatly raising out-of-pocket costs to get that whopping 3% increase in government coverage.
They could have left everything the same for the rest of America, and just expanded Medicaid and gotten the same 3%, for less overall cost.
But let's make fun of the GOP instead, right shriek?
Can I refer to the situation of Ahmed Muhammad as #Muslimprivilege yet since this type of thing happens to non Muslims all the time but the only time anyone cares enough to make the story go viral is when it happens to Muslims?
Once again, leftists have the situation exactly backwards. If this guy hadn't been Muslim, the exact same thing would have happened but no one would have cared because he wasn't a member of a protected group.
This isn't Ahmed's fault, obviously, and I hope everything turns out well for the actual victim in this case. The left's narrative in this situation has been completely deplorable though.
I saw pumpkin beers on tap at the Tilted Kilt. I stuck with Oktoberfest beers and Founder's Porter. I like some pumpkin beers, but Oktoberfest starts this Saturday.
I notice Oktoberfest beers tend to have an odd, different taste. I'm not sure what it is. I'm hamstrung a bit in tasting because my sense of smell is so weak. However, whatever it is, that flavor doesn't bother me.
Likes and dislikes are subjective. I don't like grapefruit all that much, and so hate this beer, but I know some folks that like it.
The reviews look interesting. I think Ballast Point is coming or has come into New Hampshire. This thread has some discussion about beer regulation in NH.
It has gotten better. When I first discovered Chimay, I had to go to Massachusetts to get it. That was easy because while I lived in New Hampshire, I worked in Massachusetts. Now Chimay is available in New Hampshire.
Man, I do not see how you guys keep drinking all these damn bitter IPAs. Occasionally one is ok, but I prefer a nice European lager. I'm thinking to go pick up some Grolsch or Czechvar, maybe Kronenborg.
I do like Heffy style wheat beers, though. Some Ayinger with lemon slice sounds good.
I didn't mind the one or two from Caledonian that I've tried.
And, shit, I didn't realize it 'til I looked up Scottish breweries on wiki, but BrewDog comes from Scotland. Their offerings may be overpriced, but they're usually top notch.
I really wanted to like Orkney's Skullsplitter a lot more than I did. Maybe a bad bottle(s)?
I'll definitely have to try Loch Ness and St. Andrews's offerings though. Provided they ever make it to TX or LA.
Bullshit. His old man is a Muslim political activist. As someone pointed out, he knew exactly what he was doing -- deliberately provoking this response.
I understand that (and I am Irish). What I'm saying is that even if his old man SUCCESSFULLY POLITICIZED the issue, that still isn't evidence that Ahmed didn't innocently bring a clock to school and have happen exactly what he said happened.
I have no reason to believe Ahmed did this on purpose.
Some migrants threw missiles, including stones and water bottles.
.....
The Hungarian government says 20 police officers were injured as migrants tried to break through a gate, and a spokesman accused migrants of using children as "human shields".
A few metres away, another group began a protest. They sat on the road and threw their bottles of water and loaves of bread into a pile. "We don't want food or water until we cross the border," shouted one man.
An hour later, a crowd right next to the border fence started to move forward. The hunger strikers abandoned their protest to join the bigger crowd - in the hope of finding a way into Hungary.
Maybe they need someone to tell them that 11-foot ladder will solve all their problems? I guess the problem is that Serbia is on the metric system, so they are unable to find one.
I saw the video and it looks pretty damning, but I keep wondering why the Hungarians don't transport them to the northern border or let them pass. The migrants don't want to stay in Hungary. As long as they don't, why do they care? Let them be Austria's/Germany's problem.
Hungary is obligated by EU rules to keep them, and Austrians, using those rules, are happily deporting them back. Slovakia has already closed its border with Hungary, and Germany on Saturday closed its border with Austria. Hungarians just don't want to deal with that shit.
Now it's Croatia's turn. Gonna be hilarious. Those guys certainly have experience of stampeding refugees into Serbia, after all.
Technically, the country they enter first - usually Greece - is obligated to keep them. The Hungarians could ship them back to Greece. The rules really don't count anymore, so why not push them on to where they actually want to go? It would be cheaper to provide transportation rather than trying to process them and provide shelter and food, not to mention the cost of policing.
The cheapest way is to not let them in in the first place, so they'll go bother someone else. Incentives matter.
Besides, it's no good pushing them into Austria, if Austria sends them back. As I said, Slovaks closed the border, so can't push them there. Though it would be hilarious to dump them into Romania (if you know Hungarian/Romanian history).
Ooh, best solution - dump the whole lot into Kaliningrad! Let Putin take care of his clients.
Yeah, and I'm assuming closing the border is an attempt at discouraging them from passing through Hungary altogether. I'm wondering if 1)that will actually work 2)it wouldn't be more prudent to force Germany into accepting them since they seem to want them and Germany seems to be the country providing the incentives.
Germany does not. Hence contrary moves from them. Hungarians just don't want to be the ones stuck with a bunch of people they don't like or want, and making sure they don't enter is the best way.
It will be a good data point "walls work/don't work" dispute. Hungary isn't particularly rich or populous, and the border between Serbia and Hungary is one of the easiest places to cross, being a lovely, verdant plain with reasonably temperate climate.
Any other pope, that might be a problem. With this one, they can celebrate the departed Spirit of St Chavez and badmouth the British. Extra points if Obama refers to "Maldives" again.
You expect dignitas from that asshole after seven years of living in his world? On his best day, he's a male version of Sarah Palin. Childish is the most likable he can get.
Argentinians are crazy about the "Maldives." The map of the islands is everywhere in Buenos Aires: from street market stands to the Presidential Palace.
On the topic of the Falklands War, I stumbled upon this documentary about things that could have happened differently and might have caused an Argentine victory.
The SAS suicide plan to hit mainland Argentina and destroy the remaining stock of Exocet really could have gone better: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2592320/ The-secret-disastrous-SAS-attempt- invade-Argentina- revealed-In-Falklands-War- crack-troops- suicidal-mission-storm-Galtieris- Exocet-missile-base- This-story-told-time.html
Neat story. I'd heard of Operation Mikado before, though I thought it was going to involve more than half a troop or so of men, but I'd never heard of Operation Plum Duff before.
Good thing negotiations led to the French deciding not to sell anymore of those missiles to the Argentinians. I wonder what kind of bribe Thatcher had to cough up to A?rospatiale/the French government?
As to other things that could have caused a victory, just waiting for the RN to decommission Invincible would have helped greatly. IIRC, they were scheduled to do it in early 1983. The Argentinian Air Force could have actually practiced doing anti-shipping bomb runs beforehand too, and might have figured out their pesky fuzing issues. I.e., a large portion of their bombs wouldn't detonate when dropped from very low level into shipping.
The second Republican presidential debates of 2016 will air live on CNN this evening...
This is the most important debate since the previous one!
Hello.
"Microsoft is being sued for gender discrimination."
B-b-but how can this be? Gates and the new guy say all the right things!
Not enough female techies on board. I mean, they hired ALL the female techies who applied, but that's not enough. They'll have to put the cleaning ladies on a software team.
MS HR rep: What's your experience with C#?
Cleaning Lady: Uh, I don't know much about music, but I can cook!
MS HR rep: You're hired!
C# no here. I clean office now.
(cleaning lady from Family Guy voice)
Her name is Consuela, treat her like a person, dammit!
No...noooooo...
Is ass sex part of the job?
Bend over -- she's got her strapon strapped on and a handful of lube.
Denholm: Standard nerds!
Double points if the MS HR Rep pronounces it "see pound".
It's time for someone who has the courage to stand up and say, "I'm against those things that everybody hates!"
Now I respect my opponent. I think he's a good man but, quite frankly, I agree with everything he just said!
War on Drugs, the board game.
One, two, three, four... I declare a useless, expensive and unwinnable war!
I'll take that new prison on Boardwalk for $800!
Your dog token has been shot by the police. Please remove it from the game board and go directly to jail. Do not pas GO and Do not collect $200.
Asset forfeiture. Surrender all your money and property to Big G.
This is sounding great. The pro-cannabis crowd should immediately come out with their own countervailing board game.
It should include a "Balko reports your story in the Post - get out of jail free" card.
Medical Physics Guy, ask and ye shall receive.
War on Drugs, the board game. You know, for kids.
More importantly, an excellent nod to The Hudsucker Proxy.
Another holistic doctor found dead.
Mtrueman? Truther Pirate?
What do you guys think?
ALLOPATHYYYYYYYYYYY
Dang. I left someone out.
Someone?
I could add at least two forum handles to that list.
Libertymike and....
Papaya SF, for one. Go back to the Ebola threads if you want more.
Nooooooo....
And John. Papaya SF and John were quacking each other off in those threads.
I thought the Ebola threads were for people to panic about the epidemic coming to America.
No, they were for people to panic about a reboot of Coming to America starring Jamie Foxx.
Wait...that's not real, right?
I have an appointment to pitch it next week at 2PM.
I just got back from McDowell's Golden Arcs for lunch.
Your royal penis is clean.
No, I am not some sort of anti-allopathic health nut. I just thought that Ebola was more of a potential threat than those who were dismissing it as nothing to worry about. And, by the way, it's back.
"I just thought that Ebola was more of a potential threat than those who were dismissing it as nothing to worry about."
On the back of NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER.
Your link is from December 2014 you quack.

See???? He had a clean bill of health from another quack!!!
Truther Pirate showed up late to one of the threads this morning...

What, the oregano oil didn't work?
It was delicious.

Well, you are, you're here aren't you, Kochtopus puppet!
YARR! NO PIRATE TALK,ME MATEYS? SHIVER ME TIMBERS!
Oh noes! Not Truther Pirate! I want more posts where we talk like a pirate! Arrggggghhh!!!
By Sept. 19, you better have improved your pirate language skills.
(First and foremost, it's "Arrrr," not "Arrrggggghhhh!")
Here -

Oh shit...I'm giving a presentation on my research on the 19th! I can do the whole thing in pirate voice!
HUZZAH!
We're counting on it. Please post that on Youtube, HM.
I'm a rogue pirate, no rucking fulez, landlubber!
I'll repost an instructional video to make it easier.
The 19th you say? I will have to inform my brothers in the militia, just to keep an eye out, just in case the war starts.
So on the 19th the Sesame Street letter of the day will be the letter "arrrr". Right?
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn?
"They all come from organic matter"
THEY ALL COME FROM ORGANIC MATTER
THEY ALL COME FROM ORGANIC MATTER
I laughed so hard when I read that. Weird that Corbyn actually being retarded isn't throwing the left into a lather. He's legitimately dumber than Palin, so I'm beginning to think leftist criticism of her didn't actually have anything to do with her being stupid.

He must of used homeopathic dentistry.
Probably.
This is self-dentistry:
Microsoft is being sued for gender discrimination.
Finally, my complaint about that paper clip having only male genitalia gets noticed.
I always though it was a dick.

The Guardian is amazing today.
So, Obama but with a working class British accent and bad teeth*?
*He's a Brit so I didn't even check about the bad teeth but what are the odds of nice teeth?
to break open the political system, put the alternative to austerity centre stage, and bring an end to Britain's support for endless war.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH.
Oh, you silly dreamers.
Corbyn's teeth
Is that big yellow floppy one about to fall out or what?
It's the commie tooth of truth! And social justice!
Gah! That one was looking at me!
At least he's committed to the the same terrible dental system he wants to impose on everyone else.
In the UK, you never actually get to see a dentist, but it's free!
I have to say, I paid a fortune for good dental coverage in NYC and my NHS dentist is just as good for checkups and filling related issues.
I am somewhat lucky in that and would probably take any fancy dental surgery private.

It's the lime chewing. I'm sure of it.
I forget, do they put fluoride in the water?

Um...he's way farther left than Obama. WAY.
Well, yes. He's British.

THAT'S THE JOKE
"Amazing" is definitely not an adjective that came to mind.
Here's another one today:
Femen's topless condescension towards Muslim women only helps sexism
Yeah, never mind that these assholes were discussing not whether to beat your wife, but how hard -- it's the feminist protesters that are the problem.
The Fremen are going topless!?
*rubs eyes* Oh, them.

InBev and Miller might merge? But how will they keep the quality so perfectly mediocre?
You're far too generous, kind sir.
I wonder if they'll be hiring any microbiologists...
Are you a microbiologist?
"The world's two biggest beer makers might be combining."
Making it the largest beer maker in the world that I still don't drink.
Immediately confirming my comment below. 🙂
My favorite beer is free, my second is cold. Then I worry about taste.
This free beer...... Where is it?
Killens barbecue. Fridays in line. Not Miller or Bud. Might have been an InBev or SABMiler brand though. It wasn't Shiner either. I didn't ask what was in the keg.
I know a guy who does that with pills. Strangely, he has not been invited over to my place.
Stole all the birth control pills, huh? I knew a guy like that.
"This free beer...... Where is it?"
No, the question is "When?" and the answer's "Tomorrow".
Fine. How do I get free beer tomorrow?
How about a hamburger today?
+1 Next Tuesday
You might be an alcoholic.
I literally spent more time watching all the wassup commercials online than drinking Bud.
I get drunk on other, classier beer, and then I start yelling WASSUUUUP.
We drunk the same, Playa. We drunk the same.
Beer is for pussies... Think of hard liquor as "squats" for your liver.
/Warty
I might have done 3 sets of 8 by now,,,
Ambev has some pretty good beers:
"Ambev operates in 14 countries in the Americas and its portfolio includes beers like Antarctica, Brahma, Bohemia, Skol, Stella Artois." From Wiki.
Antarctica is better than any American pilsners and Stella is one of my favs.
Brahma, Bohemia, and Skol all taste like Miller High Life to me.
Stella is crap.
I thought people here only cared about obscure microbrews, not the big beer makers.
Real libertarians subsist on colloidal silver.
I sometimes dabble in mercury vapor.
They care only enough to make it known that they're too good for the big beer makers. Also, they don't even own a TV.
I don't own a TV because of beer commercials.
I own a TV, but I hollowed it out and now I keep the beer formerly known as fire-brewed inside.
Do you also keep a flask of Jack in the family bible?
Of course not, that would be blasphemous. I keep my smack in there, the Jack* just sits out on the coffee table.
*Jameson actually.
Big beer makers: Sortof. Sapporo owns Unibroue and I like Unibroue.
Don't even own a TV: Yes.
Microbrews, another bitter IPA with an ever crazier name. Yeah!
I'm gonna start a brewery and make a new bitter IPA named 'Rat Fucking Tea Bagger Triple Anarchy IPA'!
I need more names. What about 'Golden Monocle IPA, hand made by Orphans'?
"Ironic IPA", but don't put any hops in it.
I'd drink that.
I would too, I'm not a fan of hoppy beers. Also I have a bit of a hipster streak.
I'm not a fan of hoppy beers. Also I have a bit of a hipster streak
Oh, so have hipsters moved on to ruining something else?
Sour beers might become the next big thing.
'You know, for an IPA called reason', 'HyR IPA', 'Don't talk about IPA IPA'
Warty Hugeman and the IPA of Doom?
Nice.
However, that beer is all just a ploy to get you into his dungeon, but I'd still drink it.
How about Blackface Porter?
Fuck You That's Why IPA, every 10th bottle has a crack in it.
Asperger's IPA, must be stocked on the same shelf every time
Nothing Else Happened Stout, pairs well with fried chicken
I hope robc sees this thread. This is GOLD, Jerry!
Neymar-Busquets-Suarez.
The pantheon of dislike?
Gotta include Mourinho.
Is that a law firm?
Of shameless diving cases.
Arjen Robben says hello.
He should be making partner soon.
He dove on a bigger stage.
Suarez will be outed and setting up his own dentist practice.
Q: How is mass market beer like making love in a canoe?
A: It's effing close to water.

Niiiceeee.....
I like this hiring method. For the first time ever, I want to get into HR.
Years ago I read that a survey of women was conducted in France. On of the questions was "Do you think it's okay to be asked to show your breasts during a job interview?" Something like 65% said yes.
Wow, I'm starting to like the French a little more now.
It would appear that the deck is stacked against her?
See Jack Welch's system at GE. Wikipedia has a reasonable description in the link below, but essentially employees are ranked as A, B, or C players on a percentage basis.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitality_curve
Managers have to rank their employees
I've never worked at a company with the policy, but it sounds crappy and prone to bias
You'll never Make Ass-Kisser of the Year with *that* attitude!
Dang it. I mean it sounds great, sir, unless I would be ranked poorly, but since I always agree with everything you say, that would be impossible, sir.
Believe it or not, good managers know who the ass-kissers are, and do not reward their behavior. And, yes, I worked for a large company that required every manager to evaluate every subordinate in seriatim. It's actually a pretty easy task.
Thank you for ruining a perfectly good snarky joke.
I've worked at places that rank employees. Cato is right, good managers do not reward ass-kissers. Bad managers do, and it's good to get away from bad managers when the opportunity presents itself, hopefully before a layoff.
Sounds OK unless you work someplace where management is rotten from the top down. Been there, been done like that.
We can all be pretty pessimistic and cynical around here, but sometimes Americans will stand together to issue swift justice: there is an IStandWithAhmed hashtag. And it's trending.
Bravo, people. Bravo.
Well, as an avowed contrarian, I don't agree.
If you were a REAL CONTRARIAN, you'd be tagging #standwithIrvingSD.
Nope, still cynical. People only care because the President tweeted about it in order to squeeze a few more puff pieces about how wise and beneficent he is into the news cycle.
I was beeeeeing sarcastic! Jeeeeeeeeeeeeez!
Does standing with Ahmed mean I actually need to stand or can I stand with Ahmed in a sitting position? If the latter then I'm in.
It means you have to type 16 characters and make a click or two. Maybe retweet a "joke" that someone else put out there, or favorite Obama's tweet.
Also, day 515 of #BringBackOurGirls!
I CAN DO THAT!
#IStandWithOurGirls ?
#BringBackAhmed?

An Oklahoma court has halted the execution of Richard Glossip...
I wonder if its reasoning has anything to do with his likely innocence. Let's read and find out...
Maybe Reason got through to them.
Reason saved just one life. That makes the rest all worth it.
What likely innocence?

"The second Republican presidential debates of 2016 will air live on CNN this evening"
The frisson!
I always got the impression that a lot of the western love for Ch?vez was because Bush supposedly supported the failed coup.
Hatred seems like more work than he's worth, Cytotoxic.
I'm quite satisfied with unqualified 'meh'.
It's the source of most of power!
At least he's found some work!
We are all odd commenters here, 'Toxic. Some of us are even a bit queer.
Oh, a bachelor, eh?
Confirmed.
I have faith that Tonio will find a nice girl one day and settle down.
We must have him and his wife over for dinner soon.
Call me crazy but I think Sanders is more dangerous.
Dude is nuts.
I don't think Sander's is going to beat Hillary, and further, he's only ruining the Dems. The GOP is supposed to be ours by right and Trump is shitting up even worse than before.
I don't think Sander's is going to beat Hillary
Hey, this is a Murikan debate! No Canucks allowed. Well, ok, all of the Canucks are allowed, except for Cyto.
Wait, you don't like him? Hmmm
It's calmed down compared to a couple weeks ago, when there would be five or six people saying, "I'm not a fan of Trump, but..." Those threads were hilarious. It's like that Hamlet fella said...
Holy shit. Apparently the guy who fell off the highway overpass. walked away. I assumed the helicopter was for him.
So the guy tried to make a right from the left lane while the right lane was occupied by a 60' long truck???
'I didn't see it, officer.'
yeah. It looked to us like the guy fell on the truck and rolled off. The actual story makes more sense. But holy shit.
The helicopter is for us.
Hmmm, what kind of car is that?
A flat one.
What kind of car was that earlier this morning? Didn't look like a Volvo to me...
So did he turn to liquid metal and reconstitute into a semblance of a human being or just walk away from the burning wreckage in slo motion?
Unsurprisingly, people with a self-perceived addiction to porn show more signs of psychological distress,
unlike people with a self-perceived addiction to, say, anything else.
They do cover that if you RTFA. Even so, this is just the sort of news-grabbing simplistic psych study that shouldn't be paid attention to, because so few of them ever hold up under replication.

Real curves on the catwalk at last! Size 16 Ashley Graham leads a cast of beautiful full-figured models showcasing her lingerie designs at New York Fashion Week.
Sorry for the lighting the John signal.
Looks good to me, I'll take John's place here.
I don't think you can still call it a "catwalk" in this case. Perhaps one of you can suggest a better name.
Cattle trail?
Fatcatwalk?
Whalewalk?
My wildest dream walk?
The Buffet at Mandalay Bay?
you got me laughing at that one, nicely put!
Suborbital Hamplanet?
Fuck you! I laughed so hard, one of my ribs came out my nose.
While none of the models were the usual slim-figured types normally spied on the catwalk, they came in a large range of sizes
Gotta love the Mail!
I don't care what anyone says, that lady is fine.

I'm just waiting for someone to use "There you go again".
I'd eat my own cum to hear Palin's Buttplug just once.
Not to mention it taking 10x as long to get an appointment and seeing a different doctor every time.
Only technology can fix this, and the government will get in the way as much as possible.
Shut the fuck up, Butthead, you moron?
That might work. Rand should just laugh like Butthead the entire time Trump is talking.
Unsurprisingly, people with a self-perceived addiction to porn show more signs of psychological distress, according to a new study.
Male/female missionary sex videos are not considered pornography anymore, right?
Nah, they're classified "family viewing" now.
Hmm. People who perceive problems with themselves show signs of psychological distress???
That's fucking groundbreaking right there.
Learn to say "President Trump". Maybe he'll leave a maple leaf shaped footprint on your ass when he boots it back to Canada for you.
If America was judged by its billion dollar brew it'd be the pissiest place on the fucking planet.
You can pry my Bud Light Lime from my cold, dead hands!
Wait, hang on. I haven't felt the need to ask until now, but are you a dude?
Just ask if his/her other fav drink is some type of wine cooler and you'll have your answer.
I hear Crusty has a pantry full of Zima.
He doesn't deny it.
A Zima reference just ages you, Grandpas.
The answer is Pinot Greej N Coke.
I expect all of you to block me after sharing that.
Warning: horrible women in bathing suits, salty language, mixing of wine and Coca Cola.
Wine and coke? Although I did put port in my coffee one time, it was a terrible idea.
Does that get you White Girl Wasted? Asking for a friend.
Ok, that was pretty bad. Still not blocking you.
I am not sure why I watched that video in its entirety.
+1
I'm drinking half of a bottle of this. I have to be in the office tomorrow, so I'll save the other half for another day.
What are you drinking?
I'll be on a fourth date and hopefully by the time the debate comes on I'll be halfway through a 3-pack of condoms.
Pics? Thanks.
Seconded.
Condoms? Are you on shore leave?
I presume I'll be asked to wear one if it gets that far, so I'm prepared. If i'm not asked - I'll still wear one. I can't afford more kids.
You can always do the right thing and deny paternity in court.
Czar beer?
Do they machine-gun the hops to death?
I work until 9 tonight, but when I get home ima drink a sunfish.
http://www.beeradvocate.com/be.....37/117569/
Sea Dog is not bad. I've had their Blueberry Wheat and I like it.
My wife picked up. pumpkin kick. Better than I thought.
http://www.beeradvocate.com/be.....192/97291/
I saw pumpkin beers on tap at the Tilted Kilt. I stuck with Oktoberfest beers and Founder's Porter. I like some pumpkin beers, but Oktoberfest starts this Saturday.
I haven't found an Oktoberfest beer that I like. There is something about the taste that I find off-putting.
I shall be having a few of these later tonight.
Ballast Point makes some good beers. Sample and be merry!
Are you shaking your cane at my beer?
For me, it depends on what hops they use.
Czechvar is not bad at all.
Hefeweizen ohne Limone, bitte.
oops...
Zitrone, nicht Limone.
I like the bitter IPAs but I also like a good lager, just depends on my mood. I love porters too.
Just filled a growler with Loch Ness Red Ale. Loch Ness and St. Andrews are IMO the two truly great Scottish breweries.
It's a shame, I don't think either are available in the US.
Blue point toasted lager is a red I like.
http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/764/2318/
Definitely a good beer.
Loch Ness and St. Andrews are IMO the two truly great Scottish breweries.
No love for Traquair House? http://www.traquair.co.uk/our-ales
The House Ale is absolutely fantastic.
"This isn't Ahmed's fault, obviously"
Bullshit. His old man is a Muslim political activist. As someone pointed out, he knew exactly what he was doing -- deliberately provoking this response.
I'm not willing to make that assumption yet. This isn't an obvious put on like the UVA rape.
My understanding is that his old man formally debated that kook minister in Florida who burned Korans.
And? This couldn't actually happen to someone with a political father?
Whom do you think politicized it? The old man. That's who's giving interviews. As Irish said, this sort of thing happens at schools all of the time.
I understand what you are saying.
He wouldn't have to politicize it if his kid wasn't ARRESTED for nothing.
So, can we call it an invasion now?
I like the hunger strikers more
Maybe they need someone to tell them that 11-foot ladder will solve all their problems?
Incentives matter
Yeah, and I'm assuming closing the border is an attempt at discouraging them from passing through Hungary altogether. I'm wondering if 1)that will actually work 2)it wouldn't be more prudent to force Germany into accepting them since they seem to want them and Germany seems to be the country providing the incentives.
It's a clusterfuck all the way around.
Merkel wants them.
Fricken A-rabs. You can't take them anywhere.
White House Invites Transvestite, Pro-Abortion Nun, Gay Bishop to Greet Pope...

President Asshole.
Any other pope, that might be a problem. With this one, they can celebrate the departed Spirit of St Chavez and badmouth the British. Extra points if Obama refers to "Maldives" again.
It's just so childish.
You expect dignitas from that asshole after seven years of living in his world? On his best day, he's a male version of Sarah Palin. Childish is the most likable he can get.
On his best day, he's a male version of Sarah Palin
I'm no fan of Sarah Palin, but that's insulting to Sarah Palin.
Argentinians are crazy about the "Maldives." The map of the islands is everywhere in Buenos Aires: from street market stands to the Presidential Palace.
Malvinas, not Maldives.
Oh shit. That's because I always call them the Falkland Islands.
Yup, Obama tried to be super-cool, and smart, and not call them Falklands. Smartest President Ever!
He's a fucking idiot.
Horible far-right nationalist Farage on bombing Syria, two years ago. Odds that any Republicans tonight will say something similar?
Smack daddy is not gonna like that..
