Spit Take


The Oakland, California, police department is investigating an officer who was caught on video apparently spitting at the person recording him. A friend of the person who shot the video says that officers also illegally searched his car.

The illegal search is a constitutional violation, so there's no punishment for that. But spitting? That's assault. If you don't believe me, try spitting at a cop and see if assault isn't tossed into the mix of things you're charged with.
And nothing else happened.

The victim needs to file assault charges!
