Student Libertarian Groups Join Forces to Form "Alumni for Liberty"
As someone whose college-age libertarian activism in a long-past century was supported by no organization larger than the Libertarian Party (and very mildly at that), it's been bracing and exciting watching the rise of two different big and active organizations dedicated to libertarian thought and activism for the college crowd, Young Americans for Liberty and Students for Liberty.
Today the two officially announce they are partnering to form a group to keep the activism a-flowing for their associates who leave the Elysian fields of academe, Alumni for Liberty, dedicated to organizing continued support for student programs, as well as adult and professional networking and continuing education on matters of liberty.
A video announcement from YAF and SFL chieftains Jeff Frazee and Alexander McCobin:

I prefer the illuminati for liberty myself.
What a surprise, THEY'RE BOTH WHITE.
You know who else was surprised they were white?
The Jerk?
Rachel Dolezal?
Lizzie Warren?
Look at their fake website:
AFL
Pretending like some of the members are people of color and women. Shameful! And they even put up a fake map showing there are people for liberty in other countries! We all know that the USA is only country where the selfish gun crazy white teabaggers have total control of the government!
Alumni for Liberty
Is that the code name for 'privileged white rapey guys'? PWRG, that should be their name, PWORGS!
MORE LIKE ILLUMINATI FOR GLIBERTY
Let's send them a survey to determine what kind of libertarians they are. Real libertarians or Cosmos, or some other not a libertarian.
I'll start the work on the survey questions:
1. Have you ever been on a cocktail cruise?
2. How many orphans do you own?
3. ...
Oh, this is hard, I need to rest now.
A real libertarian would have outsourced the survey creation to Somalia or somewhere else with no roads.
There are no roads at Reason.com

The 2013 USA death stats are fascinating:
http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/n.....r64_02.pdf
here are some of the bigger numbers...
41K suicided: 21K by firearm (17K PWORGS!)
16K homicided: 11K by firearm
30K by falls
39K by accidental poisoning and exposure to noxious substances
38K by septicemia
585K by malignant neoplasms
75K diabetes
25K Parkinson's
85K Alzheimer's
796K heart diseases
53K pneumonia
136K other chronic lower respiratory diseases (not bronchitis, emphysema, or asthma)
18K alcoholic liver disease
18K other chronic liver disease and cirrhosis
46K renal failure
1K pregnancy
320K all other diseases
35K motor vehicle deaths
15 war
We need to address the renal failure epidemic in this country. This kind of shit is not seen in any other first-world nation.
Now exactly how is that going to allow the proggies to scream 'gun crazed teabagging white men!'.
Nah, we don't need to look at that.
It do strike you that the anti-gun crazies might want to reorder their priorities, don't it?
Naaaah...never happen.
Let's hope the Alumni don't split into two factions, the "thinkers" and the "activists," which already pretty much describe SFL and YAL.
I've never met one, so I think it's fairly safe to assume they don't exist. The Cosmotarians invented them so that we can have another libertarian moment, that also never existed.
Brian,
Picking of the nits:
YAF was Young Americans for Freedom; my age group. You want YAL.
