Looks like Reason is doing some Schorring up of Friday Funnies.

    1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

That's something to chew chew on.

      1. Fist of Etiquette   10 years ago

        Or rail against.

        1. Florida Man   10 years ago

Shut up or I'll run a train on both of you!

          1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

I never knew you were a tranny.

            1. Florida Man   10 years ago

My mom always told me I could be whatever I wanted when I grew up!

              1. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

So when are you going to do that?

                1. Florida Man   10 years ago

                  Later, maybe...totes, what evs, YOLO.

                  /am I doing it right?

  2. db   10 years ago

    Cagle Cartoons? That's a stretch.

    1. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

Who are they? Who's Bill Schorr? Where is our regularly scheduled crime against art? Why am I talking like Judge Nepolitano?

    2. Rich   10 years ago

Oh, very well. Cagle *Exercises*, then.

      1. Swiss Servator, Kaffee bitte!   10 years ago

        *narrows gaze*

  3. Princess Trigger   10 years ago

I kind of liked Smedley Whiplash.
Mainly because I wanted a dog that snickered.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKm5xQyD2vE

    ...and the cartoon sucks.

    1. db   10 years ago

      That's *Snidely...*

      1. Florida Man   10 years ago

        It's headley!

        1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

          Meeting is adjourned.

          1. Swiss Servator, Quelle frisch   10 years ago

Not until we get a "harrumph" out of you!

            1. Florida Man   10 years ago

              Give Swiss Harumph!

              1. Swiss Servator, Quelle frisch   10 years ago

Swiss harumph is far too expensive....the franc is still too high. Domestic harumph will do just fine.

                1. Fist of Etiquette   10 years ago

                  Watch your ass.

                  1. Swiss Servator, Kaffee bitte!   10 years ago

No, I put my watch on my wrist...and it happens to be a fine Swiss watch at that!

                    1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

                      Harumph!

    2. Fist of Etiquette   10 years ago

No wonder the trains keep derailing. The rails aren't spiked down, the land isn't close to be flat, and there's a tree branch hanging directly in the train's path. Also, it's a hazard to have Nell Fenwick tied to the tracks for what I guess was the infraction of fairytale princess cosplay.

      1. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

This is clearly just a model railroad of 1/2 scale, I mean look at the distance between rails in that track.

      2. Jimbo   10 years ago

        Your mom?

        1. Jimbo   10 years ago

Oops! Wrong place...sorry FoE (tell your mom I said hi)

          1. Paul.   10 years ago

            Why don't you tell her?

            1. Jimbo   10 years ago

FoE pimps out his mom, so I always schedule booty calls directly with FoE.

  4. EDG reppin' LBC   10 years ago

A cape? Who wears a cape?

    1. Florida Man   10 years ago

      Syndrome

      1. NYC2AZ   10 years ago

        Dynaguy

    2. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

      Hitler?

    3. AlmightyJB   10 years ago

I thought all libertarians wore capes?

      The Scarlet Pimpernel?

    6. Scruffy Nerfherder   10 years ago

      Dr Strange?

    7. Swiss Servator, Quelle frisch   10 years ago

      Victor von Doom

      1. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

That's not right, dooms must be emphesized. It's "Victor von DOOM!"

        1. Swiss Servator, Quelle frisch   10 years ago

          DOOM!

          I stand corrected.

    8. Slammer   10 years ago

      Lord Vader?

    9. Fist of Etiquette   10 years ago

      The Cape.

    10. Rich   10 years ago

      DUHDUH...DUHDUH -- Batman!

    11. sarcasmic   10 years ago

      The Mad Hatter?

    12. sarcasmic   10 years ago

      Wait, wait, I know! Elvis!

    13. db   10 years ago

      The Monarch?

    14. Notorious G.K.C.   10 years ago

      Count Chocula?

    15. Evan from Evansville   10 years ago

      Frank Costanza's lawyer?

    16. Evan from Evansville   10 years ago

    17. Jimbo   10 years ago

      Your mom?

  5. WTF   10 years ago

    NEEDZ. MOAR. LABELZ.

    1. Scruffy Nerfherder   10 years ago

You're right. I have no idea how to interpret it. Where are my labels?

  6. SIV   10 years ago

At least this one has a libertarian theme.

    1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

      'Tis the moment.

      1. Swiss Servator, Quelle frisch   10 years ago

        ...and then its gone!

  7. Fist of Etiquette   10 years ago

Just so everyone knows, Payne had a perfectly serviceable cartoon at the ready, of which Reason has deprived you. I give you:

Humpty Dumpty reverse cowgirl car sex.

    1. Longtorso, Johnny   10 years ago

That will be the name of my second prog rock album.

    2. AlmightyJB   10 years ago

This was not as cool as you implied in your description. I would like a full refund.

      1. Lord Humungus   10 years ago

and a coupon for free cake.

        1. Swiss Servator, Quelle frisch   10 years ago

A dick shaped, gay wedding cake from an Irish Catholic baker?

        2. Paul.   10 years ago

          Well we're all outta cake!

    3. Scruffy Nerfherder   10 years ago

      Well that sucked

      1. Swiss Servator, Quelle frisch   10 years ago

Friday Funnies is branching out in its suckitude.

  8. l0b0t   10 years ago

Why is General de Gaulle wearing a top hat, spats, and a Batman cape?

    1. l0b0t   10 years ago

And why is the protagonist from Diary Of A Wimpy Kid dressed as a fairy-tale princess?

    2. BakedPenguin   10 years ago

      That was his hat.

  9. Crusty Juggler   10 years ago

    The dude has no jaw!

    1. Swiss Servator, Quelle frisch   10 years ago

You want a jaw? That'll cost extra.

      /Schorr

  10. SIV   10 years ago

I hope Nell isn't a Columbia co-ed. She might not be able to lug a heavy railroad tie and rail section around till graduation

    1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

Sympathetic peers who desperately want to believe her despite the available evidence will no doubt be around to help her carry that weight.

  11. Lord Humungus   10 years ago

This is one of the least interesting comics ever - but it is waaaay better than any Bok or Payne monstrosity.

    1. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

The problem with medicore is that it's harder to riff.

  12. Cdr Lytton   10 years ago

Christ. Enough posts about Mattress Girl. It's past time to move on.

  13. Rich   10 years ago

    *slap!* to one and all!

And, did ifh post something to get banned?

    1. Swiss Servator, Quelle frisch   10 years ago

I hope she didn't get caught in one of those spider mass-ballooning events or a drop bear attack.

      1. Rich   10 years ago

caught in one of those spider mass-ballooning events

        What a way to go!

    2. WTF   10 years ago

      *SLAP!*

      1. Almanian!   10 years ago

        belated

        *SLAP!*

  14. Slammer   10 years ago

    And then.........?

    1. All-Seeing Monocle   10 years ago

      +1 slow-walkin' Jones

      1. l0b0t   10 years ago

Damn... I can't find a copy online but there is an episode of Hee Haw where Buck Owens and The Buckaroos cover that song (while wearing Nell and Snidely Whiplash costumes) and it is just dynamite.

  15. All-Seeing Monocle   10 years ago

This made me miss Chip Bok.

  16. Vampire   10 years ago

Government RailRoADz and the subsequent ReGuLaShuNz are the best. They built this country, cause the great railroad meetup!! Who can forget the picture of the two trains meeting in their history book!!! That one picture and the brief description are all that one needs, to see how great Gov't rail is.

Never mind the cost overruns, the train bridges that were so horridly built they couldn't support a train, and the waste that occurred. Also, please forget the private railroads that outperformed gov't rail without robbing people's property and without being showered with subsidies.

By forgetting reality, we can continue robbing the hell out of people with high speed rail projects, and the public private (special interest ) partnerships that shield the company from consequences and transfer the risk to those extorted through violence (taxpayers).
