Williams' story of peril finally comes true as the Amish fire a SAM that detonates near his helicopter's tail boom.

    1. John Galt   10 years ago

      Never underestimate the Amish mafia.

I'm thinking bukkake and golden shower stuff.

  3. some guy   10 years ago

This is just terrible. Of all the ways to portray a liar as a liar, you choose this? Am I missing something? Did Brian Williams start out as a traffic reporter in rural Pennsylvania or something?

    1. Ted S.   10 years ago

It all began at a 5,000-watt station in Fresno....

      1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

        Ted quotes Ted.

        + 1 Teddy Award

    2. AlmightyJB   10 years ago

It's what we call "phoning it in"

  4. John Galt   10 years ago

This is Brian Williams Reporting that Hillary and I have just landed under heavy sniper fire.

    1. Chumby   10 years ago

Colonel David Hunt was in charge of her visit and consistently talks about Hillary's lying about it.

      1. C. Anacreon   10 years ago

I think he often refers to Hillary as if she were his brother Mike.

  5. Slammer   10 years ago

Why does the helicopter have a huge pubic bush?

    1. John Galt   10 years ago

Why do you have to drag Bush into everything?

    2. John Galt   10 years ago

      Sex sells?

        but who's buying? /Megadeth

        1. John Galt   10 years ago

Last wife enjoyed rubbing one off for Dave Mustaine.

  6. sloopyinTEXAS   10 years ago

One person on CNN defended Williams yesterday and then promptly got destroyed by every other person on his network.

If only they did their job and treated those who "misremember" in government with the same zeal.

    1. John Galt   10 years ago

One person on CNN defended Williams yesterday and then promptly got destroyed by every other person on his network.

CNN most likely has more than a few dishonest beings nervously hoping the Williams thing doesn't spread too far.

  7. Drax the Destroyer   10 years ago

You guys ever see that clip from 'Girls' in which Alison Williams was getting her ass eaten out spliced with that awful crow squawking she did during that Peter Pan madness on ABC? Hilarious.

Notice, I said 'clip' and not show. No one should watch that.

    1. invisible furry hand   10 years ago

but if that clip were the entire show you'd buy the box set

      1. Drax the Destroyer   10 years ago

        Yes. Yes I would.

      2. Rich   10 years ago

        *slap!*

          *slap!*

          1. Lord Humungus   10 years ago

Now now, I won't have any slapping around here. Not on my watch. *harumph*

      3. An Innocent Man   10 years ago

        Heh,heh, you said "box."

    2. Ted S.   10 years ago

No. Why the fuck would I watch clips from Girls

    3. Bean Counter   10 years ago

      No link?

  8. Swiss Servator, ... Switzy!   10 years ago

OK, the world returns to normal! THAT is the Bok I remember...awful.

My Swiss masters are flogging pretty hard today, so I will be rowing as hard as I can... see you all next week!

    1. Ted S.   10 years ago

Which rurrcency will you be breaking?

      1. Ted S.   10 years ago

Or currency; I haven't had my morning pot of coffee yet.

      2. Lord Humungus   10 years ago

        lacist!

    2. Rich   10 years ago

      "You call *that* a puddle?!"

OK, Sir -- Work hard, be happy.

  9. Rich   10 years ago

Williams took Sergeant Major Tim Terpak, who just retired with three bronze stars, to a New York Rangers hockey game, where the vet was honored with a standing ovation by some 18,000 people at Madison Square Garden. In honoring Terpak, Williams told the story of his helicopter being hit by an RPG

Serious question: What does Terpak have to say about all this?

    1. Mr. Soul   10 years ago

the lying I can get over. His being a Rangers fan is gonna take some time.

  10. Palin's Buttplug   10 years ago

Wow, did Obama unleash a fury of wingnut outrage when he mentioned the barbaric history of Christianity/Catholocism.

Was it mentioned here? Any of you peanuts know? I was busy yesterday.

    1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

      What are you typing about?

      1. Palin's Buttplug   10 years ago

        This:

        http://www.breitbart.com/big-g.....of-christ/

10,000 comments. The wingnut social media went into a collective conniption fit.

        1. Drake   10 years ago

He used vague enough language to be technically correct while banking on the Left's incorrect belief that the Crusades were all wars of aggression.

          1. Palin's Buttplug   10 years ago

Well, the wingnut outrage was because he didn't condemn Islam when he had the chance. Instead he engaged in a bit of historical perspective they cannot allow.

            1. PM   10 years ago

Isn't it funny how the hordes of crypto-Republican wingnuts that haunt this site never seem to know what's going on in the Republican wingnut scene until Bo or Shreeek, who ostensibly loathe such people, arrive to point it out?

            2. JPyrate   10 years ago

              Except he did.

              http://dailycaller.com/2014/09.....s-madness/

              1. Greg Gutfelt's Nutpunch   10 years ago

Isn't that just him condemning inter-Islam conflict?

As far as I'm concerned I see this as Obama saying "unite against the west".

Show me Obama condemning Islam when they are in conflict with Jews or the West.

          2. Mike M.   10 years ago

What's sad is that the traditional purpose of the National Prayer Breakfast is to be a positive event to try and bring people of different faiths together, and that is how normal presidents have always treated it from the beginning.

This hateful, vile jerk is the only one who sees it as yet another opportunity to deliver his stern lectures, and divide people and pit them against each other.

            1. Mr. Soul   10 years ago

              cause he's a christophobe.

        2. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

"10,000 comments. The wingnut social media went into a collective conniption fit."

I listened to what I think was the relevant portion of the president's lecture and heard him criticize the "misuse" of any religion, so I suppose the "conniption fits" were in great part fueled by partisanship/team loyalty.

Unfortunately, these types of responses are all too common in our nation, regardless of which party the responders favor.

And for the 80th day running, shrike fails to break his neck while trying to lick his own asshole.

      1. Lord Humungus   10 years ago

        Hope springs eternal.

      2. Loki   10 years ago

My cousin Walter broke his neck while trying to suck his own cock.

        1. Bones   10 years ago

Well? Did he cum or what?

  11. Mike M.   10 years ago

You were busy waiting to get your approved talking points for your fellow lefty JournoList, but none were forthcoming.

  12. Libertarian   10 years ago

Our friend Mr. Butterfield is in the news again:

"Senator Paul is using the issue of civil forfeitures to block a well-qualified federal prosecutor from heading the Department of Justice," said CBC Chairman G.K. Butterfield (D-N.C.) in a statement. "Senator Paul also has the audacity to suggest that Loretta Lynch should have more concern for people living in poverty.

"The Congressional Black Caucus recognizes Senator Paul's unfounded argument as nothing but an excuse to keep an African American legal scholar from holding this high position, and we directly call on him and Republicans to allow the nomination of Loretta Lynch to proceed to an up or down vote in the Senate," he added.

    1. Rich   10 years ago

"The Congressional Black Caucus recognizes Senator Paul's unfounded argument as nothing but an excuse to keep an African American legal scholar from holding this high position"

Excuse me, Congressman, but don't you mean "an *uppity* African American legal scholar"?

      1. Libertarian   10 years ago

        "Paul also has the audacity"

This is a dog whistle, isn't it? He means that Paul cannot understand poor, black people, because he is white.

"Paul's unfounded argument as nothing but an excuse to keep an African American legal scholar from holding this high position"

Incredible. He's accusing Paul of blatant racism and discrimination.

        1. Charles Easterly   10 years ago

Now, now, "Libertarian", as you and I both know fully well, the senator from Kentucky cannot possibly object to the candidate based on her public statements and actual record. It must be racism.

(In reality I agree with your assessment.)

        2. OneOut   10 years ago

          What's incredible about it ?

It's just par for the course.

    2. AlmightyJB   10 years ago

      Wow

    3. mad.casual   10 years ago

Senator Paul is using the issue of civil forfeitures to block a well-qualified federal prosecutor from heading the Department of Justice,

I assume they have they run out of well-qualified prosecutors and they need another.

  13. Ron   10 years ago

That actually sounds like the Sacramento NBC station this morning Feb 6. they are expecting rain, a little rain, yet they have positioned six reporters at different locations so they can report on all the chaos that they hope will ensue. Talk about stupid waste of time and money.

    Brian Williams remembers katrina:

What I meant to say that the helicopter I was flying had to deviate because of insurgent gun fire and motor attacks and it was during this deviation that I saw dead bodies floating due in the french quarter, then the prop wash caused flood water to go into my mouth and I got dysentery. Yea, that's what happened.

    1. OneOut   10 years ago

The French quarter where Williams was "reporting" from is a relatively high piece f ground and did not flood during Katrina I have been told.

    2. OneOut   10 years ago

The French quarter where Williams was "reporting" from is a relatively high piece f ground and did not flood during Katrina I have been told.

  16. Jayburd   10 years ago

The bodies could have been Chris Kyle's victims.

  17. Code Ronin   10 years ago

    That is not funny!
