Oh yeah, to annoy the daughter of Sen. Chris Coons at her father's second swearing-in ceremony.

That's what mace is for...like a metal ball with spikes on it, not the pepper spray.

  2. Rich   10 years ago

Stand up, Joe, let 'em see you.

Also, nice glitch in The Matrix, Nick. 😉

  3. Aloysious   10 years ago

    That's creepy. Lecherously creepy.

  4. Winston   10 years ago

So is he ripping off some Ed Miliband speeches?

  5. Loki   10 years ago

    Creepy. Old. Fuck.

  6. HeteroPatriarch   10 years ago

Seriously creepy. If Coons wasn't a thrall of the Dems he would've punched him.

  7. Winston   10 years ago

What do you expect from someone with the middle of name Robinette?

  8. fish   10 years ago

Why Do We Let Joe Biden Out of the House Anymore?

    Duh.......comedy relief!

    What do I win?

    1. JWatts   10 years ago

Well Court Jesters are about distraction as much as comic relief. So sorry, your post only rates a C.

      1. fish   10 years ago

I would have thought that this administration needed all the "distraction" it could muster!

Now change my grade or I'll sue!

    2. LarryA   10 years ago

Biden is "Why we don't want to impeach Obama."

  9. OldMexican   10 years ago

Why Do We Let Joe Biden Out of the House Anymore?

He's housebroken and needs to get out to do his "business".

  10. Old Man With Candy   10 years ago

Been there, done that. Pro tip: Joe, next time, try candy.

    1. Suthenboy   10 years ago

      You win.

  11. Lady Bertrum   10 years ago

Get your stinking paws off me you damn dirty ape.

Us liberals, comedy is our best weapon? I don't want to sound like a supervillain, but I won't fucking allow it. That is going to hurt the progressive movement in this country more than anything, is people suddenly going, we're the scolders, we're the shushers, we're the ones offended by everything. Whereas one of the best weapons against conservatism is satire and offensiveness and bad taste?those were always our best weapons, and they're fucking them up for everybody.

    1. HeteroPatriarch   10 years ago

Patton Oswalt lacks any kind of self awareness.

    2. Doctor Whom   10 years ago

And it's a shame to Oswalt because, he says, he likes reading some of what Salon has to offer, but now "they have become Fox News with all this look-y look-y shit."

You mean the quality of "journalism" at Salon has now risen even to that of Faux News?

    3. JEP   10 years ago

I think the issue is that my generation, the millennials, seem to respond to humor more than they respond to reasoned argument and debate.

Thinking is hard. Laughing is easy. Look at the success of Colbert, Stewart, Oliver, etc.

It's a lot easier to mock an opposing viewpoint than it is to understand it. It's the political equivalent of calling an opponent's mom fat.

      1. JEP   10 years ago

The tagline of my generation will be "too long, didn't read." So much so, that we even abbreviate that short phrase to TLDR

        1. Tonio   10 years ago

That's the point of using the abbreviation, JEP.

    4. Redmanfms   10 years ago

Patton Oswalt is a unfunny unintelligent bitter fucking troll.

He has also been at the forefront of being a progtard scold for over decade.

He is the male Janeane Garofalo.

      1. Old Man With Candy   10 years ago

Janeane Garafolo is the male Janeane Garafolo.

  13. Pro Libertate   10 years ago

You know, in that picture, he sorta looks like Bruce Campbell. Could he resign and be replaced by the Chin? Because he'd be an awesome VP.

    1. Notorious G.K.C.   10 years ago

So who would be the President who would be more awesome in comparison to Campbell?

      1. Pro Libertate   10 years ago

No one. That's the beauty of this plan. No one would want to compete with Bruce, so the presidency would remain vacant. He wouldn't have time for the White House with his busy schedule, so we'd just have a VP kinda sorta occasionally making some decisions.

    2. antisocial-ist   10 years ago

Only if he brings his chainsaw and boom stick.

  14. Libertarian   10 years ago

I know someone who's ecstatic about this pic -- Chris Christie, if it means we'll forget about his Cowboys hug.

    1. John Galt   10 years ago

Must have missed that one. What did he do? Hug Romo?

      1. antisocial-ist   10 years ago

        Worse, Jerry Jones.

        1. John Galt   10 years ago

          Oi.

        2. Old Man With Candy   10 years ago

The guy to whom Christie steered contracts in exchange for perks and favors?

  15. Brochettaward   10 years ago

Let him out of the house? The dude is the VP and plans to run for the presidency. Does he have a legitimate chance? No. But the sad thing is, despite this guy being a joke and everyone knowing it, he has risen almost to the top of politics.

Joe Biden encapsulates the American political system. He should be held up on a pedestal for people who think government is the solution to anything and everything. Or even most of the things people in this country think government is the answer to.

    1. John Galt   10 years ago

      Aye.

    2. MarkLastname   10 years ago

I hope he runs and wins the nomination. Worst case scenario, he becomes president and we all at least get to laugh heartily at his idiocy as the country burns.

  16. Warren   10 years ago

Really? Why the fuck would you go there Reason?

  17. John Galt   10 years ago

Biden's usually been good for a laugh, but whatever he was doing to that kid is just plain disturbing.

  18. D.D. Driver   10 years ago

Everyone may think this is funny, but I'm not laughing. Unwanted kissing is sexual assault. ONE IN FIVE middle school girls is sexually assaulted by the Vice-President.

    ONE IN FIVE!

  19. antisocial-ist   10 years ago

How do you think he got to be the president of vice?

  20. userve32   10 years ago

    Rollem over the mountain dude.

    http://www.Way-Anon.tk

  21. MarkLastname   10 years ago

Anyone want to speculate what he's whispering in her ear? Maybe "ya know I've got puppies in my van parked over there." Or maybe "Do you know what a hanging chad is little girl? I can show you..."

    1. Old Man With Candy   10 years ago

Needs work. My rates are reasonable (drink).

  22. Lord at War   10 years ago

I wonder if Joe got some "affirmative consent" before moving on the young lady?

  23. DWroblickiSr   10 years ago

They let Biden out because the more we see him the less chance anyone would think of harming the President. He is much more effective than the Secret Service.

  24. Fist of Etiquette   10 years ago

    That's not what I heard.

  25. Taberlario   10 years ago

I got Lancia after having made $8688 this month and more than ten-k last-month . this is really the easiest work I've ever had . I started this 3 months ago and right away earned more than $84 per/hour .
