Obama, McConnell, Boehner Do Lunch

President Obama is holding a lunch meeting with the newly empowered Republican leadership of Congress as the two sides, faced with the prospect of even worse partisan gridlock in the capital, seek areas of possible compromise.

In remarks before the get-together Friday in the Old Family Dining Room, Mr. Obama congratulated the Republicans on a "strong campaign" but said the American people want the politicians in Washington to get something done.
