Maine State Cops Force Nurse Into Quarantine

Will they isolate the troopers next?

Maine state police were stationed outside the home of Ebola nurse Kaci Hickox Wednesday as Gov. Paul LePage said he was seeking legal authority to force the "unwilling" health care workers to remain quarantined for 21 days.

The 33-year-old nurse, who has shown no symptoms of the deadly virus, arrived in Maine on Monday after being forcibly held in an isolation tent in New Jersey for three days under that state's strict new law for health care workers who have recently treated Ebola patients in West Africa.

In 2012, Maine lost 49 people from Drunk Driving. 0 people died--in Maine--from ebola. In fact, based upon testing, there is 0 evidence that she actually has ebola but just because she was treating people for ebola she MUST have it. Do we assume bartenders are drunk for serving people who have already bought 1 alcoholic beverage? If the state of Maine protected it's citizens from drunk driving the way they are protecting it's citizens from ebola, how many people would have been arrested? How many bars would be screaming because cops would be outside their establishments waiting to arrest people. There would be no sobriety checks, there would just be people arrested for drunk driving BEFORE they made it to their vehicles. Would it matter if the drunk had a cab or sober buddy sitting their waiting for them?

Are we going to start accusing doctors of having AIDS because they treated someone with AIDS? AIDS is not transmitted via the air and neither is ebola.

Influenza IS transmitted via the air and kills almost 100 times more people each year. According to http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/previe.....5933a1.htm 14,715 people died from Influenza in the 2003-2004 year here in America. Are we going to start forcibly quarantining people with ILI(Influenza-Like Illness)?
