Video Proof That Obama and Bush Are the Same President

The Kelly File put together a mash-up of Presidents Bush and Obama making extremely similar addresses to the United Nations. The speeches were given by different men, thirteen years apart, and concern separate subjects. But evil is evil, huh?
Obama: "It is no exaggeration to say that humanity's future depends on us uniting against those who would divide us along the fault lines of tribe or sect, race or religion."
Bush: "Civilization itself, the civilization we share, is threatened."
Obama: There can be no reasoning, no negotiation with this brand of evil. The only language understood by killers like this is the language of force."
Bush: "This threat cannot be ignored. It cannot be appeased."
But this time, it will be different. (In that there will not be even a semblance of constitutionality to the president's actions.)

In fairness, Obama mentioned the really important shit like the Brown shooting in Missouri. No shit. The pompous jackass actually mentioned that in a speech about the need to do something about ISIS.
This is actually fairly standard modern political fare.
Politicians actually stick in words that touch on every "issue" they think their constituency cares about.
It's focus-group crap. And the press feed it. "Ooh, did he mention such-and-such?!"
God fucking damnit, John. I'm sick of your shit.
If we just disarmed everyone, the shooting would be over quicker.
Because all the dissenters would be dead.
Oh wait, I wasn't supposed to say that last part out loud.
Obama: There can be no reasoning, no negotiation with this brand of evil. The only language understood by killers like this is the language of force."
You're with us or against us?
The people who hated Bush for this sort of rhetoric should be hanging their heads in shame.
joe is proudly holding his head up, to about 62 inches.
That would require them to have the slightest shred of integrity and intellectual honesty.
Oops.
The people who hated Bush for this sort of rhetoric should be hanging their heads in shame.
It's my understanding that Obama touched a doorknob or something in the whitehouse, and got infected by the Booosh virus. It's not his fault.
I heard that he was bitten by Dick Cheney and was turned.
So if Dick Cheney is his maker does that mean if we kill Dick Cheney he will change back?
Obama used more words. He's smarter. Argument over.
*drops microphone*?
*picks up mic, hands it to Paul*

Can you find another link? I'm kind of done with NPR.

Thank you. Appreciate the kind words.
WASHINGTON ? Eric Holder, who served as the public face of the Obama administration's legal fight against terrorism and weighed in on issues of racial fairness,
Hmm, strangely constructed sentence. AJC a progressive rag?
RACIST!
Those were all of the good things they could think to say about him.
Many years ago, I recall seeing a documentary on the debate for Teddy Roosevelt's invasion and occupation of the Philippines.
You could have copied and pasted the arguments presented then, to any chicken hawk argument for MOAR WUR in the the Middle East, today.
The Democrats believe the only criticism of Obama coming from the right is along the lines of Hannity.
They ignore any actual philosophical arguments that don't originate from within their own party.
Why would they pay attention to turncoats? Loyal party members ONLY!
It doesn't help that so many conservative media figures are working hard to give them stuff to work with. I'm always amazed at how many people, on either side, focus on stupid bullshit that doesn't matter when there is a plenty of real stuff to criticize any politician for. I guess if they focused on real criticisms, they might have to explain themselves when their guy does the same thing.
I don't need to see it to be convinced. As they say around here, statists gonna state.
Watch what they do - not what they say.
Bush = 150,000 combat troops and over $1 trillion wasted.
Obama = 47 Tomahawks and no combat troops.
What's the wedding party count thus far?
Obama = 47 Tomahawks and no combat troops...and free cake.
Well we're all outta cake! We didn't know there'd be such a rush!
I mean, BOOOOOOOOSH!
Well, this whole post is about comparing Obama and Bush so...
http://americablog.com/2014/02.....rolls.html
Their research, and that of others, shows that sadism is at the forefront. Trolls enjoy hurting people, they get a thrill and positive reinforcement from causing pain to others. Though some sadists tend to prefer causing pain in person and directly observing the results, much like Baby Jane, others seem to enjoy causing pain to others at random. This latter group seems to be the one that the typical Internet troll enjoys.
Its like someone did a study with shreek as the subject. Shame on all of us for feeding his derangement.
I don't know if Shreek is really in that category. Is anyone caused anything but annoyance by him?
Yes, and I'm sure those Tomahawks will be just as effective as the ones Clinton used against Al Qaeda's training camps in Afghanistan.
Bush started it! Obama is just cleaning up his mess! It's Bush's fault! Booooooooosh!
I hear shrieking again - 8% of a 12% effective corporate tax rate isssss.....BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH.

At the end of the day =- ^^this^^
i liek boosh.
So does shrike. Shrike likes Booosh so much, that his relationship to Boosh is almost like that of Hunter S. Thompson to Nixon.
My guess is, when the memory of Boosh fades, shrike will have no purpose, and will go out the way Thompson did.
Oh, I meant I like booosh as in pron.
You what Shriek reminds me of? My 84-year-old dog training mentor when he sends me emails about "Hanoi Jane".
Wow, he actually crafts an email about Vietnam-era Jane Fonda?
You know, that's a level of crazy I can almost respect.
Mostly it's just forwarded emails from his equally elderly cronies - you know the ones I'm talking about: uber-patriotic apocrypha about some soldier that was denied a Big Mac or some shit. I laugh every time, though.
i liek boosh.
I like bush too. Well, as long as it is trimmed. Like a racing stripe, or something.

"There can be no reasoning, no negotiation with this brand of evil. The only language understood by killers like this is the language of force."
Was he wearing Nike high tops when he said this?
This video is quite unsurprising. Both presidents used exactly the rhetoric one would expect to be used against stateless terrorists who are threatening the West. Of course it sounds similar.
The problem is that, between the two speeches, force was used not merely against stateless terrorists and the government (singular) that sheltered them, but against -- in order -- the states of Iraq, Libya, and Syria.
If Bush had listened to his own rhetoric, he would have tried to bring Iraq and Syria into the corps of civilized forces against the barbarians of Al Qaeda -- just as was done with Libya -- rather than tag those nations as enemies and allies of terrorism with no good evidence. If you stomp out stateless terrorists, you get rid of stateless terrorists. If you stomp out states, you get more stateless terrorists.
As much as I dislike Obama, the hand he has been dealt is a lot harder to play. It's a cliche, and perhaps even a reason to drink, but Bush really did screw it up.
