Impeachment Possible for Tennessee Justices
Hit em with the book.
NASHVILLE — John Jay Hooker, by his words, has secured assurances from members of the Tennessee General Assembly to introduce articles of impeachment against state appellate court judges whose names appeared on last week's election ballot.
They include Tennessee Supreme Court Justices Gary Wade, Connie Clark and Sharon Lee, who won their retention elections last week.
Hooker takes issue with the Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission, which no longer exists, but, according to Tennessee Courts.gov, used surveys and interviews to review the performance of appellate judges and recommended them for retention or replacement.

Thanks for telling us nothing. So, what issue does TJ Hooker have with these justices?"
I went and read the linked article. It is useless. Hooker claims the state constitution requires direct election of the justices, and instead they have been appointed by the governor for their initial terms, then they go up for reelection.
Absolutely nothing useful, like quoting the actual constitution. Just a bunch of filler about grand juries, quotes by politicians, etc.
Thanks. I should be a little less lazy.
I could be less lazy too and google for the state constitution, but all the ones I've seen are chock full of so much garbage that I never get far.
The judges were re-elected last week. I suspect most voters would consider an impeachment attempt so soon to be overreaching
