Police Officer Caught On Video Calling Michael Brown Protesters 'F***ing Animals'
The tension in a St. Louis suburb following the shooting of an unarmed African-American teenager by a police officer was thrown into stark relief Sunday night in a video captured by CNN of a police officer yelling a derogatory phrase at protesters.
"Bring it, all you fucking animals! Bring it!" the officer said in the exchange.

I'm somewhat inclined to give the cop a pass on this. People who engage in random acts of vandalism and theft are, in fact, acting like fucking animals.

If he was yelling it at the looters and rioters, then yes, completely justified.
If it was at the protesters, then not so much.
I might, maybe, go with "understandable".
"Justified"? Not even close.
"Justified"? Not even close.
Personally, I've always felt that looters are deserving of a bullet, whether it's fired from a police officer's gun or the victim's gun. I certainly don't have a problem with harsh language being directed their way.
On society's hierarchy of douchebaggery, looters are pretty near the bottom.
No, the state's coercive caste is always at the bottom. Their quotidian aggression and brutality financed by the plunder of those who make and produce is, by definition, orders of magnitude worse than an isolated incident of private looting - even if the looting is perpetrated by group think welfare recipients.
"Their quotidian aggression and brutality financed by the plunder of those who make and produce ..."
I assume you mean "financed by plundering those who make and produce ..." I.e., you're not claiming that those who make and produce are themselves plunderers.
I assume you mean "financed by plundering those who make and produce ..." I.e., you're not claiming that those who make and produce are themselves plunderers.
"Plunder" is also a noun, and can refer to the stolen goods themselves, so Mike's sentence works.
But it's not "the plunder of those who make and produce." It's their rightfully earned property. It's "plunder" only in the hands of the State.
It's "plunder" only in the hands of the State.
Which are the hands it's in when doing aforementioned financing.
But it's not "the plunder of those who make and produce." It's their rightfully earned property. It's "plunder" only in the hands of the State.
I read "the plunder of those who make and produce" as "the goods stolen from those who make and produce" or "the robbery perpetrated against those who make and produce."
It was kind of a clunky sentence, but in the long run, I think we're all on the same page 🙂
About ten more commas would have made it clearer for me.
The fact that cops are (generally speaking) worthless fucking scumbags doesn't mean I have to get my panties in a twist when one of those worthless fucking scumbags directs some blue language towards a different group of worthless fucking scumbags (i.e., looters).
. . . doesn't mean I have to get my panties in a twist when one of those worthless fucking scumbags directs some blue language towards a different group of worthless fucking scumbags
Yep, that sums it up perfectly.
Yelling it at protesters is inexcusable.
Yelling it at rioters is justifiable.
Yelling it at looters is also inexcusable, because cops should be arresting looters, not yelling at them.
Provoking rioters may be understandable, but its not justifiable. Its fucking stupid, is what it is, and stupid is never justified.
Provoking rioters may be understandable, but its not justifiable. Its fucking stupid, is what it is, and stupid is never justified.
I'll meet you halfway: needlessly provoking rioters is foolish; heaping whatever abuse you see fit on looters is doing the Lord's work.
Go home, take off your uniform and put away your state-issued weapon, come back when you are not a representative of the government and you can yell at whoever you please. When you are acting as an official representative of the government, maintain a semblance of professionalism. I know, that's way too much to ask.
I really don't see the harm in yelling it at rioters. It's not going to have any effect, either positive or negative. The riot has already begun.
Why not excoriate the state's credentialed emissaries of violence?
Why give a pass to anti-intellectual, blue collar, public sector parasites, who initiate violence in ever growing proportions?
Because Karl is an authoritarian ass kisser?
Because Karl is an authoritarian ass kisser?
Not sure where you've gotten that idea, but it's pretty far off the mark. Not being upset when cops yell at rioters ? kissing of said cops' asses.
Good distinction, and definitely agreed.
Exactly
From what I've read, the protestors and the vandals are mostly two separate groups; that is, one engaged in civil disobedience and one taking advantage of the chaos caused by the situation. From the video, it is unclear with which group the officer was interacting. If the former, no surprise; if the latter, then your observation is correct.
We should not let this sort of nuance interfere with our media-enabled group-outrage at someone's politically-incorrect terminology.
because if he'd called them, "shitbags", i sincerely doubt it would generate clicks for anyone.
Balko does have a gift, though.
Because, as we all know, no one ever calls white dbags "animals."
New professionalism, amirite?
+1 hth
I'm sure this will help calm things right down after it makes rounds on the internet.
Note the challenge to "bring it on". The cops love violence, as long as they're not on the receiving end of it.
I'm sure the preferred method of dealing with protestors and rioters is to try to whip them into an even greater frenzy.
Well of course, because then they can justify getting out the riot gear and the fire hoses and the rubber bullets and the tear gas, and that's where the real fun starts!
Have you ever beat a hippie? Have you? Do you not know the sound, the feel of the crack of a night stick on a head of long greasy hair? The euphoria of power mixes with the stink and the sounds of his crying and you begin to hallucinate that you are Alexander the Great at Gaugamela.
Being in the middle of a roid rage only makes it even sweeter.
You're talking about members of a profession whose normal reaction to a barking dog is to shoot it in front of kids while its owner is begging them not to.
So yes, you are correct.
That was my takeaway. Zero professionalism, inability to control emotions, and a desire for conflict.
"Bring it, all you fucking animals! Bring it!" the officer said in the exchange.
I dunno... it's a riot. It's not like it's beyond my imagination that the rioters (or people here on Hit & run, me included) don't say derogatory things about cops.
It's kind of like complaining about the violent nature of a particular death during an all-out war.
Think about that phrase in the context of the police.
Believe me, I did.
It's really not even that.
The only reason the HuffPo is reporting it is for the OMG RACIST angle. If a cop yelled that at a bunch of Tea Party marchers, he'd be sitting in the gallery at Obama's next SOTU.
You lie!
Back when I worked with the public I encountered some utterly clueless morons who were clearly the cause of the problems they wanted me to solve. I had my opinions about them, but I kept them to myself, especially when I could be heard publicly. I certainly didn't let it effect the way I did my job.
It sounds like you're suggesting some sort of higher standards for police officers.
I'm stretching here, but this riot probably wouldn't be happening if those higher standards were within 12 parsecs of being enforced.
Within the next ten years one of these assholes will no be able to finish that sentence.
It's funny, in an era of all-time lows for crime, the government has managed to turn the cops into a goon squad that might cause violence and crime to skyrocket in response to the heavy hand of the pigs.
Government: is there nothing it can't and won't ruin?
"Government: is there nothing it can't and won't ruin?"
The SEIU?
War?
And at a time when the country is terrified of terrorists and the entire media culture is about how fabulous cops are, cops are so fucking arrogant and retarded, they have managed to turn the whole country against them.
By "whole country," do you mean the 10-15 percent of people that don't slobber all over the cops' collective junk whenever something bad happens to one of them?
Because I know you're smarter than to think that even a majority of Americans are even remotely "against" the thick blue wall.
But am I smart enough to get into the Hit and Run Fantasy Football League?
Yes. Email me your address. I have a few slots open and have given the participants two weeks now.
pardon my hyperbole
You've got some questions pending in the PM links, commissioner.
Aw, what the fuck.
Somebody else ought to be commissioner so I can enjoy being defending champion.
Which was a questionable result, btw. Maybe I should call you Alderman, or whatever the fuck it is they have in Chicago.
Questionable?!?!?!?!?!
::removes glove. slaps Brandon in the face::
I demand satisfaction.
I will add to my earlier comment, John, and feel free to respond as you see fit.
If people weren't going to start fighting back, when the LAPD attempted to execute two Hispanic,or,Asian women delivering newspapers and a white guy, all of which were driving vehicles that did not even resemble Dorner's, then they never will.
And since no discipline was levied against the attempted murderers in those cases, then we know the system won't regulate itself.
It's time for people to stop with civil disobedience and to start exacting justice when the corrupt system refuses to do so.
sloop, I can't tell you how many times I have this discussion with my best buddy who lives in Lake Worth, Fla.
We both wonder WHEN?
We both wonder WHO?
We both already know WHY!
We are rapidly getting there.
And I place primary responsibility for the violence resulting from the breakdown of public faith in law enforcement on law enforcement. If they were doing their jobs as "protect and serve" public servants, rather than "dominate and control" armed agents of the state, none of this would happen. Not the protests, not the rioting, not the looting. Its all on them.
Yeah, the rioters and looters should be arrested and punished, but that's because they are legally responsible for what they do. At a higher and deeper level, this is All. The. Fault. Of. The. Cops.
It's mostly their fault. But the courts allowing the cops the negotiate things other than wages in their CBA, (namely administrative justice, stacked CRB's, evidentiary collection and interview processes and suppression of evidence) are getting higher and higher on the list of responsible parties.
Reminds me of the slogan on the Decepticon cop car...
"To oppress and enslave..." (bad movie, I know.)
It's funny, in an era of all-time lows for crime, the government has managed to turn the cops into a goon squad that might cause violence and crime to skyrocket in response to the heavy hand of the pigs.
No, no, no, you've got it all backwards. The reason crime is so low is only because of what meager power is still retained by the thin blue line, and if we want to eradicate what's left, well, we had better get out of the way and let them do their jobs.
Behold the (updated)Spirit of St. Louis.
Is it possible to merely recognize that the people on both sides of the thin blue line in this situation are fucking animals? I have no great love or respect for police and I have some suspicions about their allegations of the acts young Michael Brown engaged in prompting them to unload a firearm. But young Michael Brown is also in the demographic that is most at odds with the law and most prone to violent and boorish behavior. So I'll prefer to remain agnostic on this issue without greater research into the events that resulted in the kid's death.
I'm also highly skeptical of anything I read on this situation. Every news outlet is going to take their angle from overly-sympathetic to the race angle to the Fox News Republican crowd who go the opposite direction.
You can't get non-sensationalist reporting on a situation like this. You get propaganda. And it's blatant. Like this headline from Huffpo.
Is it possible to merely recognize that the people on both sides of the thin blue line in this situation are fucking animals?
I hope so because that is the truth of the matter
Unfortunately, where justice is concerned, the only evidence that will matter is what the police officer who shot him says once they schedule his interview and his union-appointed attorney sits across the tabl from the union-approved investigator in the union-designated place at the union-approved time.
Fuck the rigged game. I can understand why people are tiring of it.
This is why as much as I hate rioters, part of me is enjoying this. The cops are totally responsible for this. I am so sick and tired of cops killing people and getting away with it.
So are the people of Ferguson, MO.
Meh. Ferguson, MO is a shithole full of people living as wards of the state that don't seem to mind committing violence and crime towards each other on a routine basis (violent crime rate well above national average).
Given that, I'm skeptical of the portrayals of young Michael Brown as a wholesome kid. I remember when the media tried painting Trayvon in the same way.
Brown was shot by a cop, in broad daylight, whilst running away, and he was not armed. He in no way meets the qualifications for an authorized use of deadly force.
There is no possible way this is a good shoot. None. Zero.
I'll take all accounts on this with a grain of salt. The overwhelming stretches of truth that can be crafted to construct a narrative in cases like this make me skeptical. And my understanding is that he had been shot before he fled and was fleeing after being shot the first time.
It's entirely possible that the first shot was warranted (if the contention is true that the deceased was wrangling for an officer's weapon). But shooting and killing the man who's fleeing while already shot does certainly seem a bridge too far if that is indeed how it transpired (again, per witness testimonies, and some of those witnesses may have reason to be not entirely forthcoming about the incident).
He in no way meets the qualifications for an authorized use of deadly force.
My money says that this'll be ruled a "good shoot." Immediately following, Ferguson, MO, will not be a very nice place to be.
The COP was scared. SCARED ! What more do you want !!!
So you're willing to give the cops a pass because they shot a black kid. Sounds great. You do realize you're part of the problem, right?
Jesus, Epi, when did you start mouthing Tony talking points?
I think that all the evidence points to this guy's death being a murder. But yes, I am skeptical about the nature of the witness testimonies in this case given the colossal narrative construction that is going on. And frankly, I'll be more skeptical of the police account thereof whenever that gets released.
Jesus, Sudden, when did you start collectivizing by neighborhood and skin color? You sound like a fucking asshole.
It's an unmistakeable fact that he was a member of a demographic group that is among the most highly prone towards violence (outside of cops themselves). That doesn't mean he did anything violent. Doesn't mean he broke any laws.
I'd say the cop fucking with him to start with was unwarranted. If at some point what the cops allege is true(which I don't necessarily believe), that he wrestled for the cops piece, ya, that would be a valid use of force at that moment. But there is no doubt in my mind that when the kid was already fleeing having been shot once, unloading more rounds into him was murder on the part of the cop.
I just hate the way these stories always end up making more of the racial element than the fucking fact that police are immune from prosecution and continually murdering people, white, black, brown, and yellow alike.
It's an unmistakeable fact that he was a member of a demographic group that is among the most highly prone towards violence (outside of cops themselves).
And
I just hate the way these stories always end up making more of the racial element than the fucking fact that police are immune from prosecution and continually murdering people, white, black, brown, and yellow alike.
Am I hallucinating or is this a huge contradiction?
Seriously, sudden. You lament the collectivizing of "the racial element" right after you say his demographic kinda-sorta makes him guilty by association.
You kinda edited out the part where I stated "That doesn't mean he did anything violent. Doesn't mean he broke any laws."
The whole point was to draw a distinction between two concepts: a recognition of reality as shown in data and the error in applying that trend to every member of said population that forms the dataset.
And I lament when these things become a race issue because it distracts from the broader point of police malfeasance.
You kinda edited out the part where I stated "That doesn't mean he did anything violent. Doesn't mean he broke any laws."
If only that was your entire first paragraph. It would have kept me and others from assuming you said black people were "most highly prone toward violence". You know, because that's what you prefaced it with.
It's an unmistakeable fact that he was a member of a demographic group that is among the most highly prone towards violence (outside of cops themselves). That doesn't mean he did anything violent. Doesn't mean he broke any laws.
Then why the fuck do you keep on mentioning it? Not to mention that "highly prone towards violence" is a psychological assessment and basically bullshit.
You're the one whose first words out of his mouth were about race and how you therefore don't care.
But young Michael Brown is also in the demographic that is most at odds with the law and most prone to violent and boorish behavior. So I'll prefer to remain agnostic on this issue without greater research into the events that resulted in the kid's death.
Stop being a pussy and admit it.
IIRC, the witnesses were on the news saying what they saw way before any of the protests or riots started. The sheriff even stated what the witnesses said in his initial press conference...right before he said that there was no dashcam footage, security cam footage or hot mic on the police officer.
Hard to say the witnesses are conspiring to paint a particular image in light of that, don't you think?
Who gives a shit if he was a 'wholesome kid' or a crack-peddling Rachel Maddow fan? The fact is that he was not committing any crime at the time he was shot. Unless you disagree with that statement, which not even the police have done, anything you say is just slandering the victim.
Who gives a shit if he was a 'wholesome kid' or a crack-peddling Rachel Maddow fan?
It doesn't. Cops should be held to a much higher standard than the general public and a much higher standard than they are currently (which is much less of a standard than the general public).
But ferchrissakes, I really wish people in these neighborhoods would teach their kids how to interact properly with police. Don't be timid or deferential or let them walk on you, but being needlessly antagonistic is only setting these kids up for problems like this. It's fucking frustrating. I know the power cops have, I know the courts will side with them every time. I do my best to avoid interactions with police, be curt and and cordial when I'm forced into interacting with them, and be armed with a knowledge of my own rights when accosted by them.
So now you're concern trolling the neighborhood parents?
If you're going to post racist shit, at least have the balls to own up to it.
Fine. Young black kids generally approach interactions with police in an antagonistic manner. It's fucking stupid to poke a bear. They should realize it's an adversarial relationship, but know that they're largely powerless in those contexts. Don't be a bootlicker, but don't go into an interaction with a man who can legally murder you by being a dick. That is an endemic problem in poor minority neighborhoods, and shit like this only serves to further entrench it on both sides.
Doesn't mean the cop had any right to what he did, but I have trouble empathizing with people who invite their own disaster by being stupid and acting a fool when dealing with these pigs. (disclaimer: it's unknown that the victim was being antogonistic in this case, but I'm speaking more towards a broad trend I've seen in my time). I find the homeless guy who gets beaten to death while being a practical fucking Gandhi far more empathetic.
Don't be a bootlicker, but don't go into an interaction with a man who can legally murder you by being a dick. That is an endemic problem in poor minority neighborhoods, and shit like this only serves to further entrench it on both sides.
NO! It's an endemic, problem,in,police departments, across, the country. The problem would go away when cops stop arresting black youths in percentages way out of line with their actions and sticking them in jail in the same ratios.
You know I like you sudden, but this argument is almost like "well nobody deserves to get raped, but when girls dress like that they're asking for it." kind of victim-blaming.
"Civilians", any civilians, should have a right to refuse any interaction with police officers that is not an arrest for probable cause of an articulable crime. And police officers should be forced to accept that as part of being the monopoly on violence in an ostensively free country.
Period. Full stop.
NO! It's an endemic, problem,in,police departments, across, the country. The problem would go away when cops stop arresting black youths in percentages way out of line with their actions and sticking them in jail in the same ratios.
The problem can be a two way street. You've seen me on these threads before, you know I'm highly critical of police and their actions. The whole reason I'm petitioning lower socioeconomic minority youth to be fucking smart is because I'm aware of the leniency with which police are treated in the current system. Being smart doesn't mean you can't wear a short skirt for fear of being raped nor does it mean you have lick a cops boot and be over the top deferential to the point that that mustachioed asshole is gonna get off. It means be aware of your surroundings and be prepared to be approached or accosted by someone and know how to manage that situation with tact towards an eye towards your own preservation.
I really wish people in these neighborhoods would teach their kids how to interact properly with police.
The correct way to respond to a bully is to stop letting him bully you.
And I'm sorry, but they shouldn't even have to "interact" with a person who tells them to stop what they are doing and OBEY for,no other reason than the fact that the state sanctioned his violence.
Maybe the pigs need to be taught how to,properly interact with "civilians"...and part,of,that is,to,not take, offense when a law-abiding person tells them to go away and leave them the fuck alone.*
*unless a cop is arresting someone on probable cause of an articulable offense, they have no right to expect any other response and they should act that way.
I don't care about his "past". And there's no way the cop who smoked him could have known anything about,it when the shooting occurred.
Having said that, if it turns out the kid was so much as arrwsted for a curfew violation two years ago (which is unconstitutional in my book), the cops will use his arrest record as justification for the killing.
The game is rigged, man. There is no way to call this justified. And furthermore, if the cop even had the slightest of injuries, they'd be plastering it all over the media to bolster support of the cop and paint the victim in a negative light. In the absence of that, I'm going to have to believe the evidence that is so far present: bullet holes in the back and several eyewitnesses that said he was, running away with his hands up.
One thing that pisses me off is the faux "objectivity" that some express around here.
Being objective means, by definition, that you come to the table armed with certain facts, such as:
(1) Cops are parasites;
(2) Cops do not make or produce anything upon a voluntary, consensual basis;
(3) Cops are tax-feeders;
(4) Cops initiate violence and they like to initiate violence;
(5) Cops have a propensity to prevaricate;
(6) Cops have a propensity to perjure;
(7) Cops belong to public sector unions;
(8) Cops do not protect your freedoms;
(9) Cops are not the best and the brightest and
(10) Cops tend to come from multi-generation public sector families
Thus, one who chooses to ignore the above facts could hardly be characterized as objective.
Let us not forget that the real looters are the cops. That is how they "earn" a living.
If they were really tiring of it, they would be looting police stations.
Fuck you. Michael Brown was unarmed, that is beyond contention. He was not committing a crime, that is also not being contested. There was no reason for him being detained to begin with, so what happened to him was 100% the fault of the police.
It's really sad how this incident is bringing to the surface a lot of latent racism in some of the H&R regulars.
Worse, these regulars seem to be getting all wound up as the result of racist troll who has set up camp here, recently. IGNORE IT.
So nannies are bad when they work on behalf of the state, but not when they are reporting every stupid thing a cop does, anywhere.
Whatever.
Just because he's a cop doesn't mean his opinion of these individuals is incorrect.

"So nannies are bad when they work on behalf of the state, but not when they are reporting every stupid thing a cop does, anywhere."
Yes.
"Whatever"
I can tell you're confused.
"Just because he's a cop doesn't mean his opinion of these individuals is incorrect."
Because he's a cop, he keeps his opinion to himself.
He claims to be a pro? Prove it.
So nannies are bad when they work on behalf of the state, but not when they are reporting every stupid thing a cop does, anywhere.
Exactly, dumbfuck. Cops, when on duty, are representing the government and are on the public payroll. Therefore they have no expectation of privacy. Individuals do. This is the stupidest straw man I've ever seen.
Most of them are animals who are using this as an excuse to steal. That being said, the cop needs to be more disciplined. What a bone head.
Yeah, I'd honestly be a lot more supportive of them if they were torching police stations and laying siege to the city attorney's office instead of destroying the private sector of the town.
I agree. There really isn't anyone in this situation I don't loath besides the victim and his family. The rest of them, cops and protesters alike, are just fucking animals.
Rioters =/= protesters. A lot of them are peaceful. I think it wrong to lump them all together.
yes. fair point. Rioters.
Riot or wrong, I think we can all agree it's not cool to fuck with others' stuff.
This ain't the smartest community on the planet, sloop. Which is part of the reason that I've elected to defer judgement on this situation.
I hear you, sudden. And I appreciate it.
Having said that, I won't reserve judgement. The rioters are shitbirds. The peaceful protesters are ok. And,I would be fine with either group if they decided to turn their frustration in the direction of police stations or the city attorney's office with Molotov cocktails and/or pitchforks.
I think even if they rioted and firebombed the police station, they'd still be better than the looters, who are using this incident as a way to get a free TV.
Peaceful protests are being drowned out by the looters. That's a shame, because the rest of the country (the "Great Unwashed") low-info types are going to chalk this one up to another bunch of people who riot at the drop of a hat (ignoring the fact that a kid was murdered by a cop.)
In this climate, the cops arresting the looters won't help matters much. And that, among the other oft-mentioned travesties of the warrior-cop ethos, is why cops are not to be trusted or respected.
People aren't going into the da office demanding justice, they're going into the KFC demanding fried chicken.
Rioting is always wrong if it doesn't attack the actual root of the problem. Attacking the private sector, businesses, here is,chickenshit. Burning down Alice station would be understandable.
Also, go fuck yourself.
You talking to me fagit? I'm not making shit up.

It's Tulpnnnna?
SHHHHH! You'll summon it.
Torching police stations would get the entire city destroyed. Cops would be rolling in from across the country in their Bearcats and APC's to machine gun the residents.
I don't think they'd win. Those donut-munchers thrive on intimidation, not actual intelligence or tactics.
The streets would be strewn with their bodies.
The streets would be strewn with their bodies.
Yep, The cops are completely outnumbered and hopelessly outgunned. If push ever truly came to shove and people lost all their inhibitions about confronting police, it would be a bloodbath, with most of the survivors cutting and running.

I'd be inclined to cut some slack if the comment were made 'under his breath'; i.e., privately. Or if he was being physically attacked.
But public pronouncements by the cops are still required to suggest that no one is guilty without a trial; you, as a cop, treat even those who you think are guilty as if they were not.
You, as a cop, are paid to be a professional.
Law & Order is apparently the extent of the training most cops receive in Constitutional behavior.
you, as a cop, treat even those who you think are guilty as if they were not.
No. They treat everyone like they're guilty, because everything is guilty of something.
You, as a cop, are paid to be a professional.
They're paid to make you do what they tell you to do. Not to enforce the law or serve or protect or anything silly like that. They are paid to take over any situation that they are in and make everyone do as they are told. If that means killing you, then so be it. It's your fault for not doing what you were told.
Well since he's a fucking pig it take a lot of nerve for him to give other people shit for being animals!

I fear that one day a father or a beloved of one of these kids will not call Al Sharpton or go on Oprah. One day, they are just going to either kill the cop or his family. And this will be the beginning of a police state that will set up back 30 years.
lol, there have been children who were born in American concentration camps who have since died of old age. The police state has been here for decades.
What, like Christopher Dorner?
I bet most people in LA don't even remember the settlement amount they paid out for the victims of the cops shooting up trucks driven by newspaper delivery women or surfers.
In what sense is it not already a police state? People are under constant surveillance, targeted for harassment for their race or opinions, cops murder with near-impunity, lie in testimony as official policy, people are executed or otherwise targeted in the name of national security.
This is what a police state looks like, bro. Don't imagine that it will be in your face all the time unless you're an enemy of the state.
We need cameras with LIVE FEEDS and recording on each officer.
Both the police will be in line and so will the public. Plus, we can see what happened for a change.
The city is supposed to have both body cameras and dash cams deployed to its officers.
Never happened. Wonder why?
They took a hint from their betters at the federal level (i.e., Lois Lerner).
Has anyone reposted anything the heroes from PoliceOne have to say about this incident?
I looked early yesterday. I stopped after I read a comment that simple said "WOOHOO! LOCK N LOAD!"
I dare not,go back today.
So what he's saying is "lesson learned!"
I find interesting that site is so completely ignored by the MSM.
Well, you bastards finally forced me to go to that site:
Posted by Mr. Meaner:
Deadly force attack met with Lethal Force in response. Sounds like Objectively Reasonable Force to me. Graham v. Connor, maybe the media should cover that.
And, he then followed up his own comment with:
To follow up.
Remember, the officer doesn't determine the force used, THE SUSPECT DOES!!
I am now going to take a shower.
Funny,,after,I,read, the, comments,I,feel, the need to take a shit.
Hey, me too. That's better than Miralax!
Remember, the officer doesn't determine the force used, THE SUSPECT DOES!!
Sadly, this is true. If you shut up and obey, chance are you will come out without a scratch. The job of a cop is to make people comply. As in obey. Any resistance will be met with force, and if you defend yourself that will perceived as a threat. Some cops react to a perceived threat with a fist to the face, others with a bullet. And it is always justified. Submit and you won't get hurt.
My Friends, check out this link sometime. I'm sure many of you already have. It is a Ted talk about the over use of Non-Lethal Force.

I think there was a Star Trek episode about this.
African-American
Vomit.
I don't argue with my wife. Why would any sane man argue with his wife?
She uses the term "African American" frequently. She's a careful reader and is just repeating the term verbatim to me when she's read some news article of interest. When I am paying attention I repeat the sentence back to her, substituting black for African-American.
I do what I can.
When people use the term African-American, I mention Charlize Theron (born in South Africa). Then I stutter because my tongue gets hard when I think about her, until I remember she got Sean Penn to get rid of his firearm collection. Bitch.
Remember the dumbass sportscaster that referred to "the African-American runner from Nigeria" a few years ago? It's as if they have forgotten that blacks can come from a place other than America.
Remember when Nelson Mandela died? All the major news outlets referred to him an "African American."
"Nelson Mandela was the first Blackfrican President of South Africa."
Hot is hot. Whacha gonna do?
We've gotta get outta this place, if it's the last thing we ever do.
someone else posted it a couple of days ago - there will be more outrage, certainly more focus, on the looting and vandalism than on a cop shooting to death an unarmed kid.
No lie - I saw a news tease that asked "Are blacks going to be outraged about looting?" when the more obvious question seemed "are whites, or people of any color, going to be outraged at one more unarmed person being killed by a baboon with a gun and badge?"
When I heard 'unarmed', I thought: amputation. The kid surely lived in a 'food desert'. Maybe the media should be talking about junk food and diabetes.
Then I stutter because my tongue gets hard...
I'll just leave that as it is.
Hancock was on the other night. I watched it just to see her in a dress. *drool* Bitch got Penn to get rid of his guns! Bitch!
She was good as the long-suffering wife of Keanu Reeves in "The Devil's Advocate"... she even showed some skin...
Each time I feel the urge to wear her like a hockey mask, I remember what a rotten soul she is. Then I remember I don't have to wear her all day. 🙂
...and I feel better.
I don't get this complaint. Was Sean Penn some awesome guy back when he had guns? I'm OK with socialist dbags disarming themselves.
No, he was a dbag. But he made that dbag give up his guns. I am guessing by holding the love pudding hostage.
I'm okay if they feel like it, but she paraded it about like she was doing society a favor... her "good deed" for the planet or something.
Disingenuous and sleazy.
Man, Reason got pretty fucking racist today. You guys have really been hiding this side of yourselves and its pretty ugly to see it publicly displayed.
potato eater
potato eater
Now that was funny.
I did try to spark up dialog with sarcasmic about cunnilingus.
Since this Ferguson thing broke it's like half the internet took 2d6+1 points of stupid damage.
Cops are pigs. Pigs are animals. Protesters are citizens. Citizens are people. Pig has it backwards. No surprise.
Government = force. Agents of force = Cops. Cops = racist. Ergo, voting for more government is racist.
deftly done
So I was sitting at a table of a very nice restaurant in Santa Barbara CA overlooking the Pacific Ocean a few years back. One the Pakistani client informed me, with no context, that he thinks pigs are filthy animals and he doesn't eat them. I ordered a BLT.
And tip the staff in cash. The waiter's paycheck is already allocated to rent and utility bills. Whether he wants to buy a 40oz bottle of malt liquor or a boutique of roses for his sweety, he really does like the some fluidity in his earnings.
'Blacks aren't obedient to authority. That is why the term 'animals' is used. Animals have to be taught subjugation or they run wild- which is what these blacks are up to in Ferguson.'
The average white person in white-thick communities probably feels this way but due to their insulation from the Black 'problem' the intensity of this style of racism is minimized and can be masked pretty easily with the suburban tight smile whereas with cops embedded in the Black 'problem' the inverse is true.
The intensity of their racism is maximized by their interaction with people (Blacks) who have a low tolerance for being fucked with for little to zero reason. The cop ordinarily takes this as a verified assault on the law enforcement worldview of 'Obey or We'll go Full ISIL on You' and then jacks himself up with implements from the US military along with the perfunctory contempt for human life.
Yah, and we know the sweet, humanity loving thugs and thugettes have not resorted to calling LEOs vile names as they burned and stole.....please nigga!
They are animals. PEople with logic and common sense do not act like this.
