Bioshock:Infinity is really what Levine wanted to do and had a game design plan for, but due to limitations in the technology at the time first generation shaders were introduced he had to accommodate. Real time lighting was still dependent on portal rendering where large areas are not technically feasible. This is why Doom3 (the incredible Far Cry mixed it up with terrain being rendered with HD lightmaps and interiors with dynamic lighting) is a corridor shooter. It was the era before shadow mapping made it possible to have larger environments rendered at a decent frame rate.

As he and his team were working out what they had to do they made design decisions where the description of Objectivism is compromised for the sake of drama. No it's not, Texas is already 40% hispanic and the state is still deep red. Hispanics here, especially multi-generational, are more conservative than nationwide. Some 5 years ago, CA selected a "non-partisan" agency to redistrict the entire state. Somehow, the "non-partisan" group all voted D, and the redistricting shows that.
