Boston Boy Killed in Apparent Accidental Shooting by Brother
14-year-old kills 11-year-old
An 11-year-old boy was shot and killed by his 14-year-old brother inside the family's home in Mattapan today, city officials said this afternoon.
The incident took place at 617 Morton St. before noon today.
Boston Mayor Martin Walsh and Boston Police Commissioner William Evans called the incident a tragedy.
"It looks like what we have here is terrible tragedy here. It looks like a brother shot his younger brother accidentally,'' Evans told reporters. "It's a terrible, terrible incident for the family involved here.''
