Henry Waxman Announces Retirement for Congress
A Democrat and his mustache, leaving
Longtime Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) will retire from the House, his office confirmed to The Hill.
Waxman, a legislative giant, longtime ally of Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and former chairman of the House Energy & Commerce Committee, was particularly instrumental in pushing healthcare reform through Congress.
