Gov. Christie Names Team Investigating Lane Closure Scandal
Will be headed by former Assistant U.S. Attorney Randy Mastro
Gov. Chris Christie beefed up his response to the George Washington Bridge scandal on Thursday, naming a new legal team to conduct an internal review of what led to a controversy that's become a major headache for the New Jersey Republican.
The legal team will also be tasked with helping Christie's administration cooperate with the U.S. attorney's office and "other appropriate inquiries and requests for information," said a statement from the governor's office.
