Appeals Court "Troubled" by Circuit Attorney's Tweets During Sexual Assault Trial
"Concerned"
A three-judge appeals court panel here said this week that it was "troubled" and "concerned" that Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce posted online comments about a sexual assault trial in progress.
But the Missouri Court of Appeals rejected an appeal — of forcible rape and sodomy convictions — in which the issue was raised.
