I would support an amendment to the constitution that imposes a time limit on how long the President has to wait for the Senate’s “advice and consent” on his nominees. If the Senate can’t be bothered to give an answer to a nomination in a reasonable amount of time, then they must not have any objection worth airing. On the flip side, however, I think the congress should spend more time impeaching the crap out of the executive branch’s appointees.
