Two Injured in Colo. School Shooting. UPDATE: Suspect Dead
At suburban Denver school
Two people were reported injured Friday afternoon during a shooting at a suburban Denver high school by a fellow student who then took his own life.
The shooting occurred at Arapahoe High School in Centennial. KUSA said that one teen had a gunshot wound and had been hospitalized in serious condition. Another student was found injured, but its unclear if the student had been shot.
The suspect, an Arapahoe High student, died of a self-inflicted gunshot, Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said. The incident unfolded when the armed, unidentified student said he was interested in confronting a specific teacher. That teacher was able to leave the school safely, Robinson said. The student who was wounded after confronting the shooter, Robinson said.
