Pay Gap Narrows Among Young Women

Millennials entering work force see less difference in pay between sexes

Millennial women and men have the narrowest gender wage gap on record, according to a study out Wednesday from the Pew Research Center. Young adult women make 93 cents for every dollar a Millennial man makes. For all women, that number falls to 84 cents. The research found Millennial women, ages 25 to 34, are entering the workforce better educated, receiving better pay, and are just as focused on their careers as young men.
