Paul Ryan Tells Iowans to Be More Skeptical of Big Government Cures
Particularly when politicians come looking for votes
Former vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan doubts Iowans would have rehired Democrat Barack Obama if they'd known last year that Obamacare wouldn't turn out to be all it was cracked up to be.
Mixing regret and some I-told-you-so attitude, Ryan said he and GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney "didn't quite deliver" during their bid for the White House last year.
But "the next time you have a famous politician coming through Iowa, breezing through the towns, talking about big government, let's be a little more skeptical," he said.

Right. Telling voters that there's no free shit.
Next he'll tell them that the ethanol gravy train is gonna stop, and they'll run him out of the state with pitchforks.
Or "free" windmills generating millions of jobs. Oh and they're already below cost parity with conventional generation which is why we must renew the wind energy tax credit and charge consumers more for wind power. Stop being so anti-science.
Well, if you stand under one of those things, you might just catch dinner as it falls out of the sky.
