Chris Christie Insists He's Not Too Moderate, Leaves Door Open For 2016 Presidential Run
Wide open?
Newly re-elected New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie stepped firmly into the national spotlight Sunday, appearing on multiple news programs to combat criticism from some Republicans he is too moderate for national office and to take a swipe at President Barack Obama's health-care law.
Mr. Christie, days after winning a second term in a landslide, declined to say whether he would run for the GOP's presidential nomination in 2016. But, as he did last week, he left the door open to ending his new four-year governor term prematurely.
